Chopin Piano Concert At Chopin Gallery With A Glass Of Wine

It is exactly what it was billed to be. A fine night of music with a glass of wine. The concert could have been a bit longer. But I'm a huge Chopin fan. The pianist was excellent. A nice change of pace.

Beautiful evening pianist was amazing. Very calming and warming evening. I would definitely recommend.

Very disappointing. 43 minutes of a man bashing the piano with many random notes in a very heavy handed way without any feeling. Half the (fake) candles had flat batteries. Tiny 50ml glass of watered down wine included.

The wine was awful, but we of course came for the music. The pianist was incredible, and the setting was great (location and aesthetics).

The Chopin Piano concert was a slice of tranquility blended into a bush 5 days exploring Krakow. Booking via Trip Advisor was effortless and seamless, and given our experience with other providers, it gave us peace of mind. The concert was about 60 minutes in duration in a candlelit intimate setting. The pianist, Radoslaw Gozdzikowski, was excellent and was truly captivating. The venue was respectful of Chopin’s history and made good reference to this. The cost was very fair and made it a good value experience.

The pianist was excellent!! The intimate space added to the concert. Having gone to the concert really added to our experience of Krakow. The location of the concert was very convenient. I am really happy we didn't miss going. The pianist was so talented, and the music was of course lovely.

It was a wonderful way to spend an hour… listening to an outstanding performance on the piano! Some reviews complain about the wine, but that is NOT the reason you go. Absolutely lovely way to spend an hour before dinner.

Whilst the actual music was great to listen to, that was it. Room no atmosphere, half glass warm prosecco, there was a short recording, the the pianist entered -played- left. No greeting, no additional info in btwn songs, did not speak.

I had initially signed up for the best of Queen concert but because of low numbers, it was cancelled. I was contacted the day of and given the option to switch to the Chopin performance and glass of wine. It did not disappoint. The pianist did a wonderful job and it was a special experience to hear Chopin in the Chopin gallery. it was a great hour long performance (with a 10 minute intermission) in an intimate setting.

When it came to composing for the piano, Chopin had few equals in his time or at any time. The programme, performed by a young member of the city's musical faculty, consisted of mainly of nocturnes, mazurkas, polonaises but included a long-time favourite of mine, the Fantaisie impromptu. op. 66. A very enjayable hour.

Lovely experience for any music lover. A must for those looking to get a taste of Chopin and his influences in Poland.

Excellent. The concert was a collection of well known Chopin pieces played by a very talented young man who had won numerous awards for his playing. I’m not a Classical music fan but I enjoyed this evening.

The Chopin Gallery is set up beautifully and it is obviously well maintained. However, the wine was sour and the pianist was boring. He played every song in the same manner, pounding heavily on the keys. We have been to several classical music concerts during our 18 day trip and this was the only one we did not enjoy.

What a wonderful evening! Such an atmospheric concert, in the comfort of a front room with a glass of wine. The choice of repertoire was superb and the playing was outstanding. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Krakow as an authentically Polish activity.

Was great to listen to the local music, was small and intimate setting. The pianist was professional and didn’t speak but was incredible. Glass of wine is on the smaller side but was a nice experience on the whole.

The Chopin Gallery is a unique and beautiful venue. The small hall has an intimate feel creating the perfect atmosphere for Chopin concerts, and on arrival we were made welcomed with a glass of wine. The pianist was excellent and we were treated to some of Chopin's best music, beautifully played. The management was extremely helpful to us, and we were assisted by a very kind man, knowing that as a pianist, I would want to sit where I could see the hands of the pianist and the keys of the piano. We went to classical concerts in Vienna, Budapest, and Krakow, and the most memorable will certainly be the concert at Chopin Gallery. The gallery, itself, is beautiful and atmospheric; we particularly appreciated all the candlelight. But, above all, we were awestruck by the obvious talent of the musician. Paweł Kubica gave a breathtaking, flawless, gorgeous performance. Thank you for this highlight of our trip.

The pianist was good and played a nice selection of pieces. We didn’t get an introduction as other reviews mention, the pianist came out played his numbers, provided a short encore and that was it. The whole event was just over 50 minutes. The included glass of fizz was OK, nothing special but a nice touch. The “candlelight” was from a multitude of electric flame effect devices which clattered and could be heard during the quieter sections. And for reasons I didn’t understand, the front row was reserved for “people who bought their tickets here” even though I thought I had booked directly.
