Barbra our tour guide on 30th April was so knowledgeable. You can never say that you’ve enjoyed a tour of such a sad place but feel it’s important to go and understand what happened during Second World War. I would definitely recommend going to the museum.

We booked the Polish tour, no english tours were available, and no audio tour available. There were signs and information dotted around but we really missed out on a lot of explanation. The site was stunning, overwhelming, and all that you would expect, a stark reminder of a horrific event.
Michael was out tour guide and he was absolutely brilliant!! So lovely and friendly it wasn't just a walk around and him chatting about the history you could really get the sense of empathy throughout his knowledge around the camp. It didn't feel rushed at all and the numbers within each group was just enough for all to fit into each room the head sets were brilliant so we could hear at all times.
Car was different than the one informed in WhatsApp, but driver called me so that I found the car. It might be that it is just some AI bot typing in WhatsApp. Driver was good and guide was very good (seemed fluent in both English and German). The lunch package was also well worth the price. I can recommend this tour!
It was a good experience. Got a lot of information. Enough time to see the whole place. From the pickup point and drop point, it was well handled.
We came in a group, very busy but went in at our appointed time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared the stories. It is difficult to go through here but it is worth to see for yourself. Still processing our journey here.
Excellent communication from booking to final pickup confirmation, transport and guides throughout the experience.
From start to finish this was a wonderful and at the same time humbling experiences Fantastic communication from Cracow tours , txt messages to confirm time and location of meet prior to travel . We were greeted by driver Max who couldn’t do enough for us during the whole trip . His efforts at the site were fantastic locating or guide and our tour group . Be warned it can seem chaotic at the site so best go with an experienced guide and as part of a tour rather than flying solo . I don’t want to go into too much detail as the experience is a very personal one , other than to say that our tour guide guide Jacob was so knowledgable and carried the whole tour through with great dignity Choose Cracow Tours and a guided tour and you won’t go wrong
We booked through trip advisor who connected us with local tour group hello Cracow they kept us well informed provided us with door to door collection and for a small additional fee provided a superb packed lunch.our guide Michal was very friendly and knowledgeable stopping to answer questions and fill in historical facts , as you can imagine the tour is very emotional to visit take as many pictures as you can. I would say a must see memorial .
Extremely well organised tour 'Hello Cracow' were very communicative regarding bus pick up times, locations and lunch. I wont review the memorial as it doesn't need it, but the guide we had was excellent. Very clear and informative. He had personally been affected by the atrocities as his grandfather was in the camp as an interpreter which meant he brought strong and very real views to his tour. We toyed with just going without a guide, but I am glad we chose to do it this way as I think we would have missed important details without it. Thank you.
Second time on this tour for me but first for my grand children and still very moving and emotional. Glad that I brought my 13 and 11 year grandchildren so they can pass on what they learnt and seen.
Brilliant host, well organised, great experience highly recommend to all! Absolutely worth the trip along with a smaller group and English speaking guide. Learnt so much & host was very communicative
Excellent tour. Highly recommended. Not too much to say -- depressing, as it should be, and effective.
Great overview of Krakow, its history and some places of interest. Our guide Andrew was fantastic and added a dose of humor, supplementing thr audio information.
Well organised tour , communication great , very good tour guide and everything on time couldn’t ask for more
The tour was excellent, from the informative video on the way to Auschwitz to the well informed tour guide who gave a very insightful glimpse into the horror that was the holocaust......something that should not be missed by anyone.
Great trip from start to finish.Meeting point was easy to find aswell as the guide. Our driver george made us all feel safe.He was very friendly. Our guide Micheal was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable.Keen to answer any questions. We would definitely book trips with this company again!
Excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable. I was pleased that they treated the camps as memorials and not tourist attractions
The driver and the guide were excellent. Highly recommend both of them. Was a very overwhelmeding day
The communication before hand was good. Pick up was on time and 5 mins walk from our hotel. The tour and tour guide were great and would recommend. However we found the minibus extremely uncomfortable. I was sat on the back row with my mother and father, there was no leg room. There was one more seat in the row and someone did occupy it. Basically we literally couldn't move for 1hr 30mins each way. This was uncomfortable as I am quite tall. It was a 7hr day and the only time we were given for a break was 25min at the first camp this is the only place you can have something to eat and drink as it is not permitted on the bus. All this being said we did enjoy the tour and glad we did it.
Getting dark. Could not see everything. Guide had to skip parts of the tour. Old ladies left bus made us wait extra 25 mins before going to Birkenau
Good guide, informative, respectful, factual.bus was on time ,comfortable.both sites, auschwitz and birkenau full explined
Absolutely worth it, my tour guide was fantastic. The company was even better as they were very communicative with me over Whatsapp even answering questions I had not pertaining to the tour. It was my first time in Poland and was essentially flying blind, they made it so easy and were so nice. Couldn't recommend them enough for this trip and experience!
Very moving experience. The organisation of the day was very well executed. Patrycja was our guide from Krakow and she did a great job keeping us well informed and on time.
The driver Iza and our museum guide Magda were both amazing. Both were very helpful and knowledgeable and made the trip/tour comfortable and very informative. Highly recommend Hello Cracow as a tour operator!
We had a very interesting and moving day, not least due to our tour guide Mikael. He was incredibly knowledgeable, pleasant and showed great respect to the victims e.g. by keeping a three minute silence while we stood next to Block 11 and as we walked along the railroad tracks towards one of the crematoriums in Birkenau to encourage us to think of this as our memorial walk. It was tremendously touching and it all made a profound impact on us. We could easily have spent the whole day with Mikael just listening to him share his knowledge. We highly recommend a visit to Auchwitz-Birkenau.
Definitely recommend to bring sunglasses, hat, umbrella and all the sunblock products with you, with mini fan is much better! Bring enough water and dun buy nearby the camp which costed 8 PLN but the normal price is only 2-3PLN! Well prepared especially for summer time and lunch break only 30 mins, better to buy some food 1 day before as there’s no any restaurant / shop in the camp Very worth to visit and learn a lot from history… pls show your respect and Dun wear any sexy (no see through bra please !) and wear the comfy shoes for long walk , first part takes almost 2 hours to walk through the blocks with shelter but second part is all outside and it’s quite hard for summertime ! Our tour guide Pawel is typical Polish but he’s very nice and kind and always offering help, I believed he should be Virgo coz he is quite disciplined and I really appreciated him as he is not a flirty guy ! Very good !
Viator was great agent to work with for customers outside of the country. Great communication and our driver (Isabella) was excellent and very knowledgeable. She made our tour comfortable and memorable for my family. JP
Just as described, the tour company contacted us the day before with our departure time - ours was 1315. The Viator reply didn’t reach them, so they called to confirm that we knew what time they’d be picking us up. The ride from Krakow was about 1-1.5 hours. Don’t forget your picture ID.
Convenient pickup, good communication, educational tour. Obviously the point of visiting isn't to have a fun time, but it was exactly what we were looking for in terms of learning about the atrocities that occurred in the Auschwitz camps.
The awfulnes of what happened there durin WW2. Great tour guide. Be prepared for an intensive experience.
Meaningful, memorable, moving. It was an amazing tour brought to life by an incredible tour guide. Thank you.
Cancelled on us the day before. Booked for 10:10am and was given the option to leave at 4:30am instead but have to queue at the camps for tickets with no guarantee. Definitely a con overselling spaces on there tours.
The showers and the crematorium were so disturbing, its hard to believe that this actually happened.
Although the pickup time was 5.30 am it gave us the opportunity to have the rest of the day to ourselves, the pickup point was easy and the driver was very good! We arrived at the camps and the tour guide was very knowledgeable! We were actually the first people inside which made the experience even better! All round a very good tour and experience no complaints!
Although i booked this tour i was informed it was 9am pick up and only told late night before was going to be a 6.15am pickup which was far too early. Tried to cancel but informed too late to get a refund. Luckily my husband got to go but with the hotel we were staying at. Got more trips booked other country's and won't be using you again will be telling other people too as am sure you wont reimburse me
Fantastic experience our guide Tomas was absolutely brilliant very passionate and extremely knowledgeable you could tell he had a personal attachment and it’s wasn’t just a job can’t speak highly enough about him
Fantastic trip from start to finish. So well organised .Excellent communication with timings for hotel pickup - driver Bartek was so lovely and helpful - our guide Tomas was amazing and his knowledge was unreal to give us the full understanding of the atrocities and genocide that took place - the trip you must do without a doubt
Unfortunately it was ok but we felt rushed and there wasn’t time to take it all in, the tour guide started talking before we caught her , and there were other tour guides Louder.
Really liked the guide and driver. Everybody was nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Good tour, though sad.
Well organised and informative. Guide really knew her stuff. Sadly no time was allowed to spend a few moments at the memorial and that was unfortunate
Being able to experience the tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau and learn more of what the prisoners went through was very powerful.
This trip is well organised and takes care of all the little details so you can focus on seeing and learning about Auschwitz. Our driver and guide were both friendly, kind, and answered all our questions. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit Auschwitz and am grateful to these organisers for making it very easy, as a solo traveller, to do so.
Fantastic tour. Our guide Anna was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the whole experience. Transport to and from was great also. Highly recommended
Do not book with this company unless you want a 6.30am collection. The booking said 10.10 am but it was changed the evening before to 6.30am. This meant that we could not cancel without losing the full amount.. Auschwitz is most certainly worth visiting and the driver was nice but they sold the tour in false pretences.
A big thanks to Artur for organising the transport to and from the two concentration camps. It was an early start (07:20) meeting up with 18 others at the local pick up point nearby the Old Town. We all got onto the mini bus and the journey took us about 1.5 hours to get to the first destination, Auschwitz. The experience is harrowing being there, most people probably have already got an idea of the atrocities that took place here, but being there is something else. Experiencing it, feeling it and getting a proper licensed guide taking you around the site, telling the factual history of what happed in each area of the camp and inside some of the blocks really impacts the mind and soul. You can learn so much by just being there and of course actually being able to ask your own questions to the specialist (tour guide) on the subject. After a break we got back on the bus for a short journey towards Birkenau. This is often the lesser known site, but is the concentration camp with the infamous train tower and train tracks leading into the camp. Although much of this site was destroyed by the Nazis to hide their evidence and also the local residents (to get materials to rebuild their homes/city) it still has remains and some huts (you can go in these) to actually feel what went on. In addition to this a Jewish family had also donated money to purchase an actual train carriage that's now positioned on the original train tracks as a memorial to their family member/s who died whilst in transportation to Birkenau Again seeing the actual train carriage and being in the same location, where innocent and by now distraught families got off these trains, were met face to face with a Nazi determining their fate -just hits you. It's a real unforgettable moment just being there. You also get to place your respects at the memorial site at the back of the site. It's a heavy hitting emotional day, but worth being there to experience and learn about it, ensuring this part of the war is never forgotten. Needless to say everyone was quiet, internally reflecting on their own experiences and thoughts on the bus journey back to the Old Town...
A very informative tour. We were picked up from the meeting point as arranged. The bus driver took us to our tour guide for Auschwitz. This is a very well managed tour. We opted to take up their offer for the packed lunch and it was a great choice with plebty of good food. While this tour is sad, it is a must see.
The tour guide had excellent English. But she was too dramatic - almost shedding a tear after every statement. Also, whilst I appreciate her grandfather was forced to work at Auschwitz, it was not the reason I was there. The location and the sights were dramatic enough and I wanted to know the history.
Pick up on time and from convenient location. Knowledgeable friendly driver who kept us organised. Tour guide Sebastian was brilliant. Took us round and explained everything with a lot of respect and empathy. Learnt so much in the few hours we were there. Highly recommended.
Amazing tour guide and very helpful. The whole experience was very interesting and but a little sad to see but I would definitely recommend if you would like to learn a bit more about the holocaust.
