Meeting will took place either at the front-desk of a hotel or outside near an entry to apartments. Just after collecting all participants you will reach Auschwitz in about 1 hour 15 minutes.
English guided tour in Auschwitz and Birkenau Museum is provided by a licensed museum guide . (Headphones are included) Visiting the camps takes around 3,5 hours and consists of sightseeing of two Nazi camps & Auschwitz and Birkenau.
After a short break of up to 15 minutes following the first camp visit, we will take you to the second part of the tour – Birkenau (Auschwitz II), located just a few minutes away. This was the largest section of the Nazi concentration and extermination complex, created with the intention of carrying out the mass extermination of European Jews. Your guide will continue the moving tour through Brzezinka (Birkenau), built in 1941 under the orders of Heinrich Himmler, commander of the SS. The camp was designed to imprison up to 90,000 people under horrific and inhumane conditions. During the visit, you will learn about the tragic stories of prisoners, brutal selections upon arrival, and inhuman medical experiments conducted by Nazi doctors, including Josef Mengele. The tour also covers the liberation of Auschwitz by soldiers of the 60th Army of the First Ukrainian Front on January 27, 1945 – a moment that marked the end of unimaginable suffering for the remaining prisoners.
After tour you will be taken back to Krakow. Either to your accommodation place or any other destination within the city.

Great tour company everything as hoped and went smoothly. Efficient and friendly. The trip was well organised and was definitely worth it despite how poignant it was.
Very good sombre moving experience which I can honestly recommend as a must do. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative, unfortunately my ear peice was not working and a few other people in our group ! Had to share with my partner, otherwise top marks all round.
Door to door pick up and drop off. Really good informative tour guide at the museum. Driver was friendly and helpful
Excellent choice for our trip driver kept communication perfectly and guide for tour hugely knowledgeable highly recommend
The museum is well organised, with exhibitions containing original belongings, photographs and documents that help you understand the scale of the atrocities committed. Birkenau, with its vast grounds, railway tracks and remaining barracks, leaves a particularly lasting impression. Sometimes it felt a little rushed but that was due to how busy it was that day. We had a couple of disabled people on our trip who struggled to keep up at times.
From the time of booking and untill we were dropped back to our hotel the whole experience was smooth and reassuring. Good communication throughout, punctual and a nice ride to Auschwitz. Our driver was great. I had been so worried about the trip being cancelled at the last minute but I hadn't needed to be. Would definitely recommend 👌🏼.
Used this company many times . Pick up is always close to hotel if not at the door . Our guide Mr T was fantastic. Polite , friendly and knowledgeable. Mr T gave us many recommendations for food etc Wear comfortable walking shoes for this harrowing experience. Book well in advance as tours sell out quickly Last visit in camp 1 is 3pm camp 2 is 4.30pm so I’d recommend morning trip if available
Excellent tour and proffesionally run. Arthur our driver picked us up on time from our apartment explained the day ahead. Excellent driving and English speaking, he took us to the entrance and handed us over to the tour guide who also spoke Excellent English the tour its self was incredible and very emotional. The pick up and return also went without a hitch. I didn't take up the option for a lunch pack but the others said it was very good. 100% reccomend this tour and it is excellent value for a stress free tour.
Could not fault any part of the trip .. the driver was great , my pack lunch was perfect as I’m Gluten intolerant. Our guide was full of knowledge and interesting facts . Was also happy to answer any questions When we got back to our hotel , we were that pleased we booked another trip for the next day . Thank you ☺️
Second visit, this time with family. Humbling experience, good experience with communication before trip, pick up and drive. Great guide at the musuems. Would recommend
Wll run and organized. Tour was very informative. Expected to be tough emotionally but leaned more to the infomrative and interesting side.
Excellent tour. Artur our driver contacted us the day before to agree a time and also see if we wanted a pack lunch organised. He met us at our hotel the next morning at the time agreed. The van could take up to 8 people, but there were only 7 in total. Small van meant it was able to get through traffic better and we weren't waiting around for lots of others to be ready etc. At the first camp, Kasia our guide, spent a couple of hours walking us through. She was excellent. Very good English and very informative. After the first camp, we had a break of around 20 mins when we could grab lunch. The pack lunch provided was a ham/cheese baguette (veggie option available), bottle of water and a cartoon of juice, an apple, a banana, crisps, some and some biscuits, all for £12. Well worth it After the break we were driven over to the second camp. This is the one with the train tracking running in to it. We spent around a further hour there, before returning to the van and heading back. Most of the tour at both locations is outside, so be prepped for the weather. Total time from leaving the hotel to getting back was about 7.5hrs. Highly recommend. The fact there was only 7 of us, meant we weren't always waiting for loads of others.
Punctual, friendly, and safe driver using a comfortable small van (there were 8 guests). The option to purchase a lunch bag directly from the driver is also a handy tip for anyone who might not want to pack their own food. Auschwitz I Tour: Very informative and managed well with an English-speaking guide and one-way audio headsets (which are essential given how busy it gets). Birkenau Tour: Led by the same guide without needing a radio due to the lighter crowd, though I was struck by the sheer, staggering size of the Birkenau camp. Eating is forbidden inside the camps, and the short break between Auschwitz and Birkenau doesn't leave enough time to buy food on-site. Packing your own snacks or taking the driver up on the lunch bag offer is definitely the way to go!
The trip went very smoothly. Transport picked us up from our hotel on time, our guide was very informative, the transition between sites was smooth and drop-off great too. Would recommend, highly valuable and heartbreaking visit.
Theres lots of walking and stairs. Remember to to take lots of photos so you can look back and share the experience again. Take the tour guide so they can give you the full knowledge of both the camps.
Pick up was seamless, driver was on time and knowledgeable. He pointed out key areas of interest which would have been missed on the tour itself. Getting between the two camps was also explained & simple. The tour itself was very interesting. Although very shocking and sad. Give yourself at least half a day for this tour door to door. Excellent value for money.
Driver was great, communication was ace and the guide was brilliant.
Very interesting but the tour started later than planned so the second part of the tour was in the dark which spoiled the experience.
Very well run trip from start to finish
Everyone should have to visit here once in their life. What happened is unfathomable and visiting makes you realise how lucky we are to not have suffered. The guide we had was brilliant, so knowledgable.such a sad sad part of the worlds history that should never be forgotten
Excellent service and great communication from Maciej. Would highly recommend using this provider
If you are visiting Kraków and want a truly authentic, powerful, and historical experience, this tour is an absolute must. We booked through GetYourGuide (as we have done for other trips), and once again they delivered a seamless and completely hassle-free experience. What to expect from the tour: Seamless travel: The bus ride from Kraków takes about 1.5 hours each way. Smooth entry: Upon arrival at the main entrance, you show your ID alongside the ticket provided by your tour coordinator. From there, you are handed over to an official site guide employed directly by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Professional guiding: The official site guides give very clear instructions on the group rules and what to expect throughout the tour. Walking & Duration: Expect around 3 to 3.5 hours of walking across the grounds of both Auschwitz I and Birkenau. Why it leaves such a strong impression: Unlike many other historical sites that rely heavily on modern museum sets or reconstructions, Auschwitz-Birkenau is genuinely authentic. Walking through the actual brick barracks, wooden stables, and grounds brings history to life in a sobering way. Seeing the preserved personal belongings of the victims—especially the display containing two metric tons of human hair—leaves an indelible mark that stays with you long after you leave. Verdict: This is a powerful, educational, and deeply moving journey back in time. It serves as a stark reminder of a dark chapter in human history that must never be forgotten. I strongly encourage everyone visiting Poland to take this tour.
Great tour, pick up was easy however be advised pick up between 7-10 really implies tour starts between those times, our pick up was 6:10 which we kinda expected from lots of other reviews so was fine, the tour itself is good you join a larger group led tour when you arrive which is fine as you are given an ear piece to listen to the guide, the tour does move very fast but it’s long enough to take it all in
Great service Prompt pick up from hotel Seamless trip end to end Would strongly recommend this company
Igor was our driver and tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He also organised pre packed lunches half way through our tour which was very convenient
Had a good trip lead by our guide Igor. Igor is very professional, has good knowledge of the subject and above all is very sympathetic and helpful on a difficult situation. I highly recommend the trip.
We had a great experience. Igor was very knowledgeable and excellent communicator in coordinating the trip and explaining the history of Auschwitz. I highly recommend this tour.
A lot of walking involved but great experience. Definitely worth a visit. Everyone should visit if they are able to.
Excellent communication from the company and the driver Bob. Bob was very informative and showed videos as well on the way to give some background. The whole trip was excellent. We were offered packed lunches at a small cost we decided to take our own due to food allergies but it was a great extra if you aren’t worried about what’s in it. Highly recommend.
Pre-booked months ago. Everything perfect with pickup from Lukas, everything so well organised. So pleased we also got the packed lunch option, very little opportunity to get anything from vendors. Well worth the money and very nice. Surreal experience visiting the camps, our guide was very informative but sadly I didn't get her name. Navigation around the camps is so well managed so it doesn't get overcrowded.
Very organised trip .Maciej was our driver . Picked us up from our hotel , explained the process & brought us back again. Organised a lunch for us as well . Cristoff was our guide at the memorial. Very thorough & well presented tour
Our pick up went smoothly with all info provided via WhatsApp. Our driver & guide Igor was fantastic & very knowledgeable & friendly. Thank you 😊
The pickup and travelling experience with Bartek was outstanding. The actual visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau was very interesting and emotional thanks to our guide on site. I can't remember her name but she was very good at explaining everything and answering posible questions. 100% recommend.
Needless to say, the experience was incredibly powerful. Our driver Maciej was great and accommodated a change in pick up location at short notice. The guide Lukasz was incredible, outstanding. Very knowledgeable and presented in a factual way. We were delighted to have had this experience with him. The tour didn't feel rushed and the group size was comfortable. The break times were short but personally we didn't want to eat anything so it didn't matter. Highly recommend.
The tour was excellent value for money, and the communication throughout was fantastic. We received a WhatsApp message from our driver the day before, confirming that we would be picked up directly outside our hotel. The driver arrived promptly, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. There were three other couples travelling with us in the minibus. The journey from central Kraków took around an hour and was otherwise comfortable and relaxing. On arrival, we were introduced to our guide, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He led us around Auschwitz I, providing a detailed and informative tour. The experience itself was incredibly heavy, but also so important. Having watched so many documentaries about Auschwitz over the years, I still found it hard to believe that I was actually standing there in person. After around two hours at Auschwitz I, we returned to the minibus and travelled to Auschwitz-Birkenau, where our guide continued the tour. We spent approximately another hour there before heading back to Kraków, where we were dropped off directly at our hotel. It was a long and emotionally draining day, but one that was absolutely worth it. Visiting Auschwitz is an experience that stays with you, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to learn more about this important part of history. Overall, the organisation, communication and quality of the guide were excellent. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kraków who wants to experience Auschwitz with knowledgeable guidance and reliable transport.
Excellent communication from the tour operator with pick up details. Convenient location for collection close to our accommodation, Clean and comfortable transport. Well organised, tour guide Arthur was very pleasant and the tour guide at Auschwitz extremely knowledgable. Great value for money, would recommend
From start to finish ***** Driver was super polite and friendly - picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back The guide was very very knowledgeable...... The tour was very moving Definitely recommend *****
The experience was really good. We got picked up on time and the communication between the driver and attendees was good. As far as the tour, it was done really well. Our tour guide knew a lot about Aushwitz and delivered the information in a matter that really drove the point home of the atrocities that happened here. He was really respectful about how he delivered the information as well. We saw both camps of Aushwitz and I learned so much from him. I definitely recommend this tour to everyone who comes to krakow.
Excellent trip. Everything well explained.
First class experience. From pick up to the tour everything was well executed. Communications the evening before was excellent and clear. This is the go to experience 100%.
We hadbooked the experience in advance of travelling to Krakow with a pick up time between 7 and 10 am. The day before the trip we received a message that due to highnumbers, our tour time had been brought forward and pick up would now be 5:40 am. This made for a very early start. We felt 'hurried' through the whole visit and found Auschwitch extremely busy. While we understand the need to open more visiting ti.es due to high demand, we can't understand why our time was moved to very early in the morning when these times should have been for people booking later.
Excellent trip. Pick up from our accommodation was easy to arrange and on time with Lucasz who was a friendly driver. The tour guide at the camps was also excellent. Well informed and ran the tour at exactly the right pace. All in all, a moving experience
Excellent from the start, from door to door pick up to the tour which was conducted with such emotion and was excellent, an experience I will never forget. We also had lunch provided which was fresh and good value. Thankyou to all.
It was a very good tour. Very informative and friendly. They only thing I had a problem with was my wife was walking slowly to take in the place and before we stopped so he could talk we were a good bit behind so we missed some of what was being said. So in that aspect it was a little rushed. I also get the sense that some tour groups see more than others. I could be wrong though. If I was to do it again I would just walk round it myself because I know the history and take it all in slowly.
Great tour, very smoothly organized, extremely knowledgeable guide, friendly driver - fantastic.
Anybody who denies the holocaust happen needs to take this tour. Our guide was always in constant communication with us prior to the day of the Tour. He was punctual when he picked us up and when he dropped us off. The Tour is very well organized. There’s so much information offered. I remember learning about the holocaust in sixth grade, but to be in the presence of the concentration camp was just really heavy. I think every human being should go visit Auschwitz if you’re in Poland. It will make you appreciate with being able to take so much for Granted. This was an amazing tour.
Good company who communicated well. Although advertised as a small group when you actually get to Auschwitz you are part of a much larger group. Guide was very informative.
Everything was spot on re organisation and guide! Highly recommend! We picked pick up point on booking - no probs. Timings, guide and experience excellent. Round trip from krakow Blu Radisson 6.5hrs. We took own food but guide also contacts 24hrs before to offer pack up.
Amazing experience that I recommend for anyone. Humbling
