This is a truly powerful experience - it’s difficult to find words to explain how the trip makes you feel .. but so worth going.

Our visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau was an understandably sombre and solemn experience. Knowing about the atrocities committed throughout this complex of camps, and then actually walking in the footsteps of the millions of people who suffered and perished here, was an incredibly chilling and humbling moment. It is an experience we will never forget. We were collected directly outside our hotel by a very polite and courteous gentleman, who drove us to the memorial and brought us back that afternoon. One particularly lovely aspect of the journey to and from the memorial was that our driver chose not to take the motorway. Instead, he brought us through the beautiful Polish countryside and a number of quaint little villages that we would otherwise never have had the opportunity to see. It was a lovely and unexpected addition to the journey, offering a peaceful glimpse of the Polish countryside on what was otherwise an understandably emotional day.

Picked up on time by our driver Robert aka 007, safe drive there and back with information along the way The tour is well organised and much more improved then 9 years ago in terms of a new visitor centre with toilet facilities and food available An experience that’s makes you think and reflect on history and also pay respects to the unfortunate people who were lost through war

Visiting Auschwitz was a deeply moving and humbling experience. The tour was incredibly informative, offering a powerful insight into the tragic events of the Holocaust and the lives of those who suffered there. Walking through the camp was emotional and thought-provoking, serving as a stark reminder of the importance of remembering history and ensuring that such atrocities are never repeated. A sobering but essential experience that I would recommend to everyone. Auschwitz Tour from Krakow were excellent! Our driver, Bartek, was very polite, courteous and on time. I would recommend this company 100% if you wish to visit there yourselves. Also take advantage of their lunch boxes, they are well worth the money as it can be pricey at the memorial site, plus you don't get too much time between the camps.

Overall a great experience, straight forward pick up and good clear instructions on itinerary, drop off and pick up plus information regarding what to expect during the visit. Just personal preference, we would have preferred a little longer at Auschwitz and Birkenau, just to be able to take it all in.

Great service and friendly staff. Kept me up to date which pick up times just be cautious, my pick up time was 6am. But that can’t be helped as tickets are used by the museum. Couldn’t recommend enough

The experience to auchswitz was very informative and interesting. We had excellent driver who kept us updated on times of pick up and was very prompt at arriving at our hotel. The guide was also excellent and very sincere with explaining what had occurred at auchswitz and berkenhaus. I would highly recommend this trip.

From pick up to drop off this was an amazing trip. Our driver Bartek was on time and the journey was flawless. When we had finished our tour of Auschwitz (which ran overtime) he arranged for another driver Slavo to take us to the saltmines. This ensured that we would be on time for our tour there. The other passengers were not going there. Even with traffic delays Slavo got us there on time. Excellent service and would recommend to anyone. The tour of Auschwitz was a profound harrowing experience and our tour guide was so knowledgeable. Saltmines were amazing.

Incredible expierence; I learned so much whilst I was there. Everything was perfect from the driver picking us up (also providing lunches) the the tour guide explaining everything also perfect English for us to understand. Couldn't thank them enough for this expierence.

The customer service was very quick to sort out a problem I had about the booking. The tour was well organised and so smooth from the beginning to the end. There was a time when we had to rush a little as there were many other groups of visitors and really busy there. But our driver and the guide were very experienced and they handled the situation so well that we managed to go through everything within the time we had. Booking this hotel pick guided tour was definitely a right choice we made. We might have not managed to see everything if I did not book this as we probably wasted time like to wait for train or bus, checking directions, queueing to get into the museum etc. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Our driver, Konrad, provided great communication the day before regarding pick up and lunch box, and arrived at our hotel exactly on time. The transfer was very good and we were introduced to our guide for the day. From start to finish the experience was very good value for money, well presented, humbling and thought provoking. Would highly recommend.

A walk through one of the worst historical tragedies to ever visit humankind. Very humbling experience and at the same time extremely heavy on the heart. A must visit to remind ourselves if we are not careful it could be repeated.

DO NOT BOOK! Tour will be cancelled. You will not be informed of this. READ guidance on official museum website. You cannot be guaranteed a tour via a third party. As are in Poland for this reason now and had the tour cancelled. Despite several emails in advance to confirm the details. AVOID

Well organized tour. Picked us at hotel in Mercedes van and proceeded to Auschwitz. Stopped along the way for drinks and break. Met at Auschwitz with tour personnel and entered seamlessly. The tour guide for Auschwitz was really informative and the entire experience was eye opening. After a bag lunch which we purchased as part of tour, we proceeded by our van to Birkenau where our tour guide again lead around the site and explained the brutal history of the huge camp. Very well pleased with our trip, driver and tour group. Recommend highly.

What an absolutely humbling experience this was. Birkenau in particular is haunting and despite there being a lot of tour groups walking around it felt silent. Many people including myself were distressed by what they saw and heard; it truly is something I believe will affect everyone who visits. Our guide Magda was so informative and so knowledgeable and we learned so much from her about both camps. The organisation of the tour was well done, from our pick up with Lucas to being delivered back to our hotel safe and sound. Also, we felt the price point was excellent. We are glad we did the tour and had the opportunity to pay our respects and honour the millions who had their lives taken from them in such a horrific and barbaric way. I would for sure recommend the tour to others who may be thinking about it.

Well-organized trip. A lot of walking so comfortable shoes. It can be disturbing and emotional, to know for children.

Excellent driver - on time ( pick-up from our hotel at 05:40 ) - Back at 1 pm - The group was too large and we were pushed for time ! The guide was almost running and not walking. No time for reflection, let alone reading . Next time: Smaller group and MORE TIME

There were problems with communication between the local tour guide company and us where the pick up time information went into my spam folder, so I missed the early pick up. The driver even texted me the day before but never stated the pick up time. As a result we missed going on the tour completely. I contacted the tour company who would not work with me at all to try to get us there another day. It was very, very disappointing.

I had planned a trip to Kraków with my four adult children (all boys) and one of the most important parts of our visit was going to Auschwitz. Slavo was an amazing host and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. He collected us promptly, arranged a fantastic lunch, and provided excellent support and guidance throughout the day. Visiting Auschwitz is an incredibly humbling and moving experience, and I would highly recommend making the visit. I chose Viator to organise my visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau with my son, to make the experience and the logistics of the visit as smooth as possible. The tour covers two sites, and I didn’t want to have to arrange transport between them myself. I was pleased with the service. I thought it was well organised. Slavo contacted me via WhatsApp the day before the tour to arrange the pick-up. As an added bonus, he offered us a packed lunch for 12 euros if required. He came to collect us from the hotel; he was punctual and the minibus was comfortable. We shared the minibus with six other people; it was interesting to chat with other tourists on this very special tour. Slavo was professional, polite and provided us with all the information we needed. I recommend this service.

Highly recommend this tour. Our driver picked us up from our location in the morning. The driver also arranged for our lunch since it is a seven hour tour. This tour was great because we didn’t have to worry about buying tickets or worrying about bus schedules, everything was done for us.

This company were very easy to deal woth from start to finish. They contacted me the day before to tell me the pick up time and collected me from my hotel. The driver, Slavo, also contacted me the day before via WhatsApp to confirm the pick up time and also asked if we would like a packed lunch. I would recommend this company without hesitation. The communication was perfect - they tell you your pickup time is between 6-10am and they let me know the exact time the day before. The driver also contacted me via WhatsApp the day before you tell me the pick up time and asked if we wanted a packed lunch as there is nowhere to get food between the tour or Auschitz and Birkenau. This was very convenient and we needed it as it's a long day! This company organised the tickets and guide, although the guides are employed by Auschitz and you won't know what guide you get, we had Oskar and he was excellent.

We booked to visit and got a delightful driver to take us there. He was really good and gave us a guided tour of key information en route which made the hour plus journey from Krakow more interesting. The tour itself was excellent and sobering. The actual tour guide at the memorial was knowledgeable and covered all the key important things. All in all, it was a really good experience with my friends.

We could not have asked for more excellent emotional and enriching experience than we had with our tour guide for this tour of Auschwitz birkenau. Our guide, whose name I wish I remember an excellent, highly knowledgeable gentleman perhaps in his 30s took the time to explain everything in such detail and his emotion and countenance honestly added to the entire experience. He didn’t have to say anything that was his opinion he presented all of the facts and answered all of our questions and he contributed to such an overwhelmingly excellent enriching experience and we are appreciative and highly recommend him. Excellent communication from both the driver (Bartek) and guide (Dorotea ….I think that was her name). Our guide’s personal connection with Auschwitz was very moving and added another level of insight to the experience. Well worth the trip. A huge packed lunch at a reasonable price was arranged by Bartek. A definite must see to really experience and understand the horror of the holocost.

Our driver was efficient and provided us with a wonderful and full lunch for the break between camps. Very safe driver.
