Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour With Hotel Pickup From Cracow

This was a very interesting & informative tour taking a full day including transport both ways. Touristico contacted us the day before our booking with details of day & reminder to take ID. Thank you to our driver Peter, who was excellent, picking us up from our accommodation at an agreed time. On the morning, he shared his location when he was on his way so we could see when to wait outside. He was friendly & explained the day well. We decided to have the lunch bag option that was an extra & were pleased we did. The Auschwitz guide is very professional & Peter took us directly to him. Very smooth trip.

Igor was such an informative man. He was at the hotel bang on pick up time and safely drove us all to aushwitz for the tour giving us loads of history information on the way. His English was 100% and overall such an enjoyable, relaxed trip. Would highly recommend Igor to travel with to anyone.

This was a totally immersive tour with albeit an impossibly difficult subject matter and period in history. Igor was hugely knowledgeable and delivered the commentary with passion, enthusiasm, expertise and compassion. His delivery was at an excellent pace and his English is excellent. A difficult day and quite harrowing but excellent at the same time. 10/10 THANK YOU. And I wish that I could score it higher!

A historically fascinating tour and a dive into one of humanity’s darker times. Yes, there were crowds understandably but the tour was well organised and the entire process went smoothly. Fees were reasonable and the whole experience took between 6-7 hours (including the drive to Auschwitz and back to Krakow). Ada picked us up on time outside our hotel. She was very friendly, a responsible driver and always ready to answer our queries. Definitely worth the trip.

Peter was really helpful as our driver with the logistics on what can be an intense day. There us a lot to cover in the 3 hours across the 2 sites. He got us there and coordinated with our guide made sure we could get breaks for toilets and getting drinks. His English was great and his calm personality much appreciated. It was an unforgettable day!

We were picked up from our hotel and driven to Auschwitz. The tour company, Touristico, provided a packed lunch for 12 PLZ. It consisted of a baguette, banana, apple, biscuits, chocolate wafer bar, water and juice. No complaints about the lunch itself but there is really not enough time to eat it. We had 10 minutes free before moving on to Birkenau, just enough time to go to the bathroom and as usual, there was a long queue for the ladies. The tour itself was a very informative and humbling experience. Our guide, Berta was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. I would highly recommend this tour.

We were very please with our trip. Our driver Pawel picked us up spot on time and provided us with all the information we needed, also a great lunch bag! The only available pick up time before 6.00 am was a bit annoying at first, but our day at the sight was free of queues so we were glad we had the morning slot after all. It also gave us plenty of time to explore Kraków as we were back in town by noon! Thank you very much.

From start to finish it has been great to work with.got a email monday to say the trip couldnt go ahead but the team got us our tour on the friday.the team were on point and quick to answer any questions and make it a easy day. On the day our driver was jan.nice fella who told us how our day would go and gave us info. On the tour its self we had kilum(think thats how its spelt).a man with over 10 years experence in the camp and had all the info and details on the terror that happened in both camps. Nothing was rushed in our time and we seen how the camps were. The whole experience was straight forward from start to finish using Viator - regular communication and our driver, Jakub was friendly and informative. The trip to Auschwitz was eye opening, slightly surreal and personally, I found it made me quite angry but I imagine people feel a number of emotions given the atrocities that happened in the two camps. Our guide was great, very knowledgeable. Would definitely book with this company again.

Prompt pick up by Jan from the apartment. Trio was sobering but excellent. Definitely use a tour guide as they know so much. Lunch bags were ordered and worthwhile. While trip ran smoothly and back in Krakow by 2pm. Very good trip.

Well organised, with great communication prior to the pick up. The experience was informative, yet very sad. The driver Lucas was extremely helpful and ensured we were looked after by a very professional guide Peter. Such a worthwhile trip made that much easier by Lucas and the tour operator.

It was a long day (7.5 hours) but an essential and moving experience. Jakub, our driver, was friendly, efficient and safe. Our guide was less good, but was from the museum staff so could not have been predicted - there is a lot of walking and little opportunity to stop, so be aware if this might be difficult for you.

Good communication before the trip. Pick up was on time and in the agreed location. Friendly driver who provided good information about the plan for the day when we were on route. Well organised and all went exactly as had been explained to us. Be aware that there is a lot of walking involved which may be a challenge for some.

It was definitely an experience to learn exactly what went on there was mind blowing. We were there for about 5 hours and we travelled in a minibus driven by our very friendly and polite driver, Pawel.

It was very informative, shocking and disgusting what went on in this place. It’s all history now but was good to learn and hear about it. I would say if you haven’t been you need to go - it’s an eye opener!

We received very detailed information, which made the whole day straightforward and stress-free. We also appreciated being able to choose between bringing our own lunch and purchasing their packed lunch. Our guide was excellent, leading us through a deeply moving visit with knowledge and sensitivity. An attentive, well-organised service that we would definitely recommend.

Had a great experience with this your company. Great communication, we were picked up from our hotel and taken to Auschwitz for skip the line entry. There were 6 of us in the van. Our original tour provider cancelled on us last minute so we were lucky to book this tour the day before. Jan was an excellent driver who took use safely from site to site. He kept us updated with timings and helped the visit run smoothly. Highly recommended booking the whole day visit and both camps.

The experience was great. Book an early time as we didn't get to see much of Birkenau! Pawel was a wonderful driver. Natalia was an experienced guide who adjusted her guide based on the individuals in the group.

We had a very nice visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau museum with Touristico. Our driver Jakub was amazing, kept us updated with the day’s plan and time schedule and got us there, back and to the stops in between. I’d highly recommend going with a tour company due to the distance between public transit and the museum site. Jakub has a 7 passenger van and got us all, including my 70+ year old in laws, to the museum and back very comfortably. Highly recommend this tour definitely worth the cost for this trip.

We had a great experience with the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour! The hotel pickup was very convenient, and everything was well organized from start to finish. A special thank you to Paweł, who took great care of us throughout the day. He was friendly, professional, punctual, and very helpful, making sure we were comfortable and that everything went smoothly. He patiently waited for us and made the whole experience much easier and more enjoyable. Although he wasn’t our actual tour guide, he played an important part in making our day a great experience. We had an absolutely fantastic time today. Igor picked us up and dropped us off from our apartment, and also was our tour guide. His knowledge of Auschwitz and Birkenau was very impressive. I learned a lot, was comfortable the entire time and the timings were perfect, you had time to look around but didn’t feel like you were overstaying your welcome. Igor made sure our group were respectful to the victims, which was nice. Huge thank you to Igor, we had a fantastic time, one that we will never forget. Great value for money. Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
