Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour Tickets And Transfer From Krakow

1 am updating my review to also include text from Michael K.'s review (Winnipeg, Canada) as we both had the same complaint. In my original review, the owner of Go4Tours accused me of lying about the incredibly unsafe driver employed by Go4 Tours. In my review, I stated he was speeding, tailgating, slamming on the brakes, and most importantly, talking and texting on his cell phone. He nearly hit a pedestrian in a sidewalk in Krakow because he was not paying attention. Furthermore. My seatbelt appeared to have been chewed by a dog. When I brought this to the attention of another Go4Tours driver, my driver verbally accosted me, waving his disgusting lit cigarette in my face. Two weeks after my experience, the following review was posted by Michael K., documenting nearly the exact same dangerous conditions: "The driver was on time for pick up and the drive out was fine. On the way back however was very different. The driver was obviously in a hurry, constantly checked and sending emails and texts while driving, and was driving too fast. He obviously had somewhere to be. We were also dropped off a block from where we were staying when he could have dropped us off at the same place he picked us up. The ride home really made us give not 5 stars across the board.....distracted un safe driving on the way back to Krakow.”

Excellent communication, knowledgeable tour guides for sensitive topics. Great lunch. Nice to get to know the other people in our van. Easy pick up and drop off directly at our hotel.

This trip was (I don’t really know if you can say “Brilliant!” as Auschwitz & Birkenau we’re not! due to what they were and represent!?) an excellently organised trip. We were picked up (on time) in an excellent comfortable minibus. We drove across firm Krakow to Oświęcim Dropped off at Auschwitz, we had a short break to go to the toilet and were given our tickets along with stickers so we knew who was in “our” group. Then we entered the main camp, were shown round the camp and entered a few buildings and were given an informative tour. After we had seen everything we boarded the bus again and took a short ride to Auschwitz II -Birkenau Where we saw the extermination camp, the railway, gatehouse and the crematorium a very sobering place!! 10/10 would definitely recommend this trip!

Well organised tour in mini van. Simon had good communication and punctual. Casper the guide was brilliant spoke at a great cadence, was respectful and knew his content. Small opportunity for questions or photos might be nice. Pack yourself some late lunch / early dinner there’s not a lot of food options.

I’m absolutely delighted with our trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau with Go4Tours! I highly recommend choosing them if you’re planning to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau. The atmosphere throughout the journey to and from Auschwitz-Birkenau was great, the staff were friendly, communicative and very helpful. Everything was perfectly organized and, most importantly, everything was on time. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, everything was taken care of from start to finish. A truly well-organized trip with a great team. I would definitely choose Go4Tours again! Highly recommended!

****WHAT A COMPANY WHAT AN EXPERIENCE ******** Found on Viator. This was the only 5 star company some had fair ratings but alot of reviews stating cancel trips last minute, this company certainly didn't let us down. The comunication has been amazing from start to finish. Every step of the way updated. The whole process has been really pleasant. Communication the day before with times - Simon was prompt and freindly We did the Auschwitz Birkenau tour. In a very smart comfortable people carrier. There were 8 of us but plenty of room Simon was awesome it was relaxed informative and not rushed we had time after each site. The day was explained as to what we needed to do, go,meet up. Simon got our tickets and was very organised. For an Additional extra (£12) lunch was offered huge bag of food options choice and it was lovely! The experience its self was very well done an extremely emotional day but this tour made it a very smooth day. Highly recommend. Thankyou for making our trip so easy.

Unfortunately, our tour got cancelled for the date we originally booked, that wasn't any fault of the tour operator we booked with but a shortage of tour guides at Auschwits, we were given an alternative and kept informed at all times, apart from that the whole day was well organised pick ups spot on and a great guy called Simon as our driver, id highly recommended this company.

Our tour guide was great. He picked us up at the hotel on time and we partnered with another tour guide at Auschwitz. It was very memorable. After the tour we went to a local place to eat and had dinner together. I am Canadian and Simon's English was great. There were no language issues what so ever.

We were incredibly fortunate to find tickets for the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour just three days before our visit. The price was very reasonable, but what truly stood out was the exceptional communication and service throughout the entire process. It was good but still far from I saw and we expected. She will run through the talk but didnt at any moment offered time for questions obvsiously when time allowed. We heard other tours allowing questions. Just an average tour guide. The whole thing was amazing but the guide could´ve gone a bit further into everything that´s how we felt.

This is a must do tour - book with this tour company. Simon our driver was outstanding. He picked me up at my choice of locations. I chose in front of my BnB. He contacted me the night before and before his arrival. He arrived right on time. He brought lunches for those who wanted them. He kept us well-informed. My Auschwitz tour with Go4Tours was excellently organized. From the beginning, the contact with Anna from the office was very kind and helpful - she answered all of my questions quickly and with a lot of patience. On the day of the tour everything was perfectly arranged, so I felt completely taken care of and could just focus on the emotional experience of being in such a solemn place.

I arrived to Krakow with my 13 years old son, without tickets and lots of hopes. Soon to learn we had no chance of visiting the camps. Then I met Alex and his team, minutes before they closed down their office for the day. In just a few minutes of perfect English, professional service and good vibes, my son and I had two tickets to the camps, with a reserved guide, and transport that picked us up from the hotel, and brought us back after the visit to the camps. The driver Simon is a wealth of knowledge, friendly and very professional. He even prepared lunch bags for me and my son, I hope I can send friends over to see the camps and also the beautiful city of Krakow. Wonderful, smiling and helpful people, lovely place to visit, and the professional help of Alex and Simon, even the darkness of the camps was more bareable. They Rock! Book with them! Must to see experience. Everything was organised on a high level and lasted for half a day. Admissions were included in tour price.

Our driver Simon was fantastic, very friendly. We opted for the packed lunch which was great value and tasty. The transfer was lovely in a 7seater air con. The tour guide on arrival was very approachable and a noligable. Great trip although a very sad experience its worth a visit to see for yourself. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience at this place it has that sad and devastating experience of what happened here and to be able to see everything like the gas chambers and the train tracks that lead straight up to the place and buying a ticket was very easy and great experience and the tour Gide helped a lot and answered a lot of my questions so I did enjoy my day trip here and I would let people know

Syvästi järkyttävä kohde. Retki sinänsä hyvin organisoitu, vaikka massaturismi-tunteelta ei tietenkään voi välttyä. Kuljetus toimi moitteettomasti. Opastus oli kohteen huomioiden hieman ilmeetöntä, nopeaa faktojen luetteloa, eikä selostusta aina voinut kuulla tai ehtiä sisäistää. Varsinkin ulkona ilman äänentoistoa jäi suurin osa selostuksesta kuulematta. Ehkä tällaista paikkaa ei vain pysty esittelemään kovin tunteella ja eläytyen. Tärkeä paikka käydä, historiallinen kauhu, jota ei pidä unohtaa.

Excellent experience. Our guide Alex was perfect. He came to pick me up at 5:50 in the morning, right on time. He played soft music, because it was almost still night. He answered our questions, he was clear in his instructions. He planned to bring us a lunch to avoid the line (paid of course but very thoughtful). The return went very well too.
