Auschwitz Birkenau Guided Tour From Krakow/tickets/private Car

I left it very late to book this tour because friends couldn't make their mind up whether they wanted to go or not. When I booked there was no availability but was put on the standby list. The next day Sławek reached out and fitted me onto a tour which was much appreciated! On the day the mini-bus arrived to my hotel as expected and our driver Konrad was absolutely great throughout. Everything felt professional and ran like clockwork which made the day very easy. I think this is important considering the subject nature of the tour and was much appreciated. Thanks

In our opinion it was a humbling but very important experience to have been part of. We were all pleased that we had done this tour. Our driver to and from, Sebastian, was very good as was our guide at Auschwitz, he was superb; sadly cannot recall his name (08:50 English speaking tour on Sunday 5th October) There is just one criticism in that between Viator and the tour company used, they really should clarify an exact time for pick up, and not just a few hours before the tour, as our booking told us 07:30 but Sebastian had it as 07:05. Apparently a message was sent to me the evening before but I did not see this until after 7am. Luckily Sebastian was very good about it, realising this error, that had happened to him previously on other occasions.

Our driver Stanislav was wonderful. Patient and careful driver. He directed us exactly where to go and was ready for pickup at the conclusion of both tours. Our tour guide at Auschwitz and Birkenau was great. Explained the history and back story in a solemn and respectful manner. Would recommend this tour to everyone!

An experience that anyone should take the time to accomplish when visiting Krakow. It’s a reflective experience that I would recommend. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the driver was super helpful.

I was recommended this tour guide company and I too can highly recommend. From airport pick up to tours of the camp. Driver picked us up on time in a spacious, clean mini bus and provided all tickets for entry, with an option of a packed lunch for a very reasonable price. He waited until our tour was done and then dropped us back to our hotel. Will certainly use again, first class service.

We booked our trip because our son recommended the tour operator and he wasn’t wrong. The operator kept us posted on pick up times, offered additional services (lunch) and what travel documents were needed. We were picked up from our hotel, Daniel was our driver, a great guy and enthusiastic to point out enroute landmarks/buildings and it’s history/purpose (added bonus) Although the trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau is harrowing, I think it’s a place everyone should visit.

Myself, boyfriend and father visited Krakow this weekend and decided to visit Auschwitz. I booked this tour, based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Tickets and transfer was sorted at the click of a button.. our friendly driver Daniel text me the night before to double check pick up times which was great. We were picked up on time in a comfortable, warm van. Daniel was very informative and kind. The tour was great too, I would highly highly recommend anyone to do it once. I could not fault our driver Patric one bit. He came to collect us at our hotel made sure we were ok in car. When we got to our destination he took us to the tour guide and waited for us to finish our tour of Auschwitz. Gave us our lunch box. When we ate we boarded the car and he took us to Birkenhau where we continued our tour, another 11/2 hr wait for Patric. When tour was finished he drove us back to our hotel. What a very considerate and nice person. Took care of everyone. 10/10

Hotel pickup and drop-off made the tour very convenient! Perfect amount time for each leg of the tour as well as the overall length. Driver offering to pick up lunch made things much easier. Tour guide was knowledgeable and set the right tone for the experience.

The trip was very saddening , however gave great knowledge . The tour guide was exceptionally good . The private car was by far the best idea the driver was prompt in communication and providing lunch (at an extra cost ) but was very much worth it

It was experience visiting however the guide Daniel was more than excellent made the experience memorable and seem less allowing us to concentrate on the visit itself.

Pick up was confirmed the day before and the driver contacted us by WhatsApp and asked if we would like him to organise a packed lunch for the following day for a very reasonable price. We did and were glad we had done so as there was not much time between the two sites. Pick up was on time and the journey to the Museum was smooth. On arrival we were merged into a group of about 12 with an extremely good English speaking guide who was very knowledgeable and experienced. She definitely added value to the visit. Well organised, well run tour.

It was a very busy day with strong emotions starting from the entrance to the camp along which the names of deportees who did not survive are listed. The very good Guide gave us exhaustive explanations on every corner visited with the tour. It really is a blast from the past and we hope it stays that way forever

We arrived late in Krakow at 22:00 due to train connections , online I booked a tour to Auschwitz for myself and my wife . 5 minutes after sending the booking a direct call. All requests were asked and checked internally by the company Auschwitz-Krakau , whether it was still possible for us to get the transfer + guided tour (also a German tour) in and to Auschwitz spontaneously. After 20 min the callback that everything is booked and we get a driver. Our driver Bartosz came to our hotel the next morning very punctually with a fancy car , you will not find such a friendly and courteous driver in Germany , he took care of everything , provided on site the tickets gave us information about Krakow and Warsaw. In Ausschwitz we still name 2 Germans with us to Birkenau and back to Krakow who missed their train , all this was no problem for Bartosz ! Insanely such a customer orientation , Price also unbelievable !
