Our guide at Aushwitz was so amazing . She made it interesting and informative at the same time. I recommend everyone to do this tour

Long but very well organised day! Lunch was great option to choose from, early pick up but glad we did this trip
Firstly. You need to know this is a long day and you will be walking alot (easily15-16k steps) Secondly if you go in the wintry months its a darkness to darkness situation. But, if you're ok with all of that I would recommend. Very well organised. Our driver Thomas was great, the lunch provided (extra cost) was an absolute bargain. The guide we had at Auschwitz/Birkenau was good, but seemed a little jaded and wasn't the best in making sure everyone could hear him. The guide at the Saltmine was excellent. You do need to know though that there are 850 steps down (broken up into 3 levels) but if like me you have one or more dodgy knees its quite hard going. Thankfully you use what seems to be the workers lift to get back up, which is fun. All in all a really good day, tiring, but worth it.
Amazing, sad & so much to learn. Price was brilliant considering how long the day was and the tour we got. Bus drivers& guide tour was amazing and so helpful. Bring comfortable walking shoes, and make sure to wear lots of light clothing so it’s easier to take off when you get warm.
The guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable and we left suitably shocked /angry about this abomination of human history.
We were very happy with this trip, from WhatsApp messages from Christopher and direct pins from Julia to make sure we knew where our pick up and our bus was to the lunch on the bus was %100!! The only little thing that we were a little disappointed with was by the time we got to Birkenau it was dark and we didn't get to see it. I think if we had of done Auschwitz and Birkenau first and then the saltmines it would of been perfect. But I do understand that opening hrs might not of coincided. But I would %100 recommend this service they were so nice and we really enjoyed the day Thank you
An experience not to be missed when in Krakow. Needs to be seen. Excellent guide, very memorable day
The meeting place was convenient. Bus ride with the box lunch was good. We enjoyed the salt mine tour first. This is a must see location. The mine is phenomenal and so memorable even though you only see a tiny portion of the labyrinth of tunnels. The mine is very well preserved. Our guide was very informative. Auschwitz was a little long and included a walk to Birkenau II. We couldn't hear much of what our tour guide was sharing though because the group was kind of spread out and a few in our group were continuously asking questions. Very memorable although somber. Bathroom facilities were available and clean.
Incredibly knowledgeable guide who took us round a difficult subject matter and had exactly the right approach. Informative, discreet and very authentic. Thank you
This is a very well organized tour. Communication and the pacing of the tour was great Both Julia our Guide on the bus and Konrad our tour guide in Auschwitz Birkenau were brilliant. Konrad in particular, did a great job in telling us about what happened in these places. Our guide in the Wieliczka Salt Mine was also excellent. This is an excellent tour.
Salt mines in the morning with an hour lunch break before heading to Auschwitz. Was getting dark when we approached Birkenau which meant we couldn’t fully see the site.
For us the salt mine cane firsf, but ut actually made a lot of sense, the tour is super tireng but worth it. Our driver was super nice but the lunch box was not offered
The whole day felt a bit rushed. You were rushed through each room without having time to stop & wonder/reflect on what you were being shown. It needs to be slowed down to be able to ‘feel’ the whole experience
The tour was well organized, our driver was great, and our guide at Auschwitz was excellent and very knowledgeable. My only suggestion would be to visit Auschwitz before the salt mine. We traveled in late October, when it gets dark earlier, which made it difficult to see the second camp. Overall, though, it was a good experience.
Very interesting experience, on-time transportation. We had to change groups halfway through, but no problem was easy and understandable. Just breaks and not too long.
Very well organised and great service. The bus driver and tour guides were very well informed and a smooth journey to and from.
It was around 10-12k steps across the day for us - we had an official guide at both locations and it was very helpful and better than going to do it solo. Whilst there’s a lot to see at Auschwitz we were taken round quickly to all the ‘more’ important parts due to time constraints and light - consider whether you’d want a longer time there as to whether this tour is for you or not. Lunch is excellent and would recommend. No complaints about the tour at all.
Thoroughly enjoyed our experiences of Auschwitz- Berkenau and the Wieliczka salt mine. We were ok, but please bear in mind it is quite a physical tour, and a certain level of fitness is required. There were people in our party who had to bail out from completing the Berkenau tour and going down the 360+ steps down the shaft of the mine. We walked about 6.5 miles in total, and the guides were keeping quite a fast pace, so anyone who is slow on their feet will definitely struggle to keep up. One other minor down point is no one tells you when you exit the mine. You will be about half a mile from the entrance, and which way to go. Basically if you turn left you will eventually reach the entrance. Look for the finger post telling you the way to the salt mine.
A great day - well organised. Pickup area was 5 mins walk from where we stayed (due to no cars allowed in area we were based). Good communication with clear walking instructions were to meet. Driver was good and got us to both locations on time. Important to note that he was really jsut a driver, not the tour guide. In both places you are handed over to the official guides that take you round - nothing wrong with this at all, if anything you get a more professional service. But it would have been good if the driver had maybe spoke a little about the history of Krakow, etc as we were driving between places. Not that important really, but it would have made him more than just a driver and would have added to the trip. Its a long day, but actually, both tours are broken up well by the drive between then, You feel like you get a good amount of time to recharge before heading out again.
Fantastic trip, salt mines were amazing and seeing Auschwitz-Birkenau was so sad but as a memorial it is done really well. Tour driver and company were great, we had an issue getting to our meeting point but they were very helpful and accommodating to help us. Very well organised and bus was comfortable.
This tour is very good our guide was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. You think you understand Auschwitz’s but the tour gets into detail that makes you fully understand how soulless the Nazi regime was.
So much to see and take in. The tour guides were so passionate and spoke clearly about all you needed to know. The pick up was painless. Without a doubt one of the best excursions I’ve had.
Great tours. The salt mine was way better than I was expecting--a real treat! Thomas, our driver, had to fight a serious, hours-long traffic backup, but heroically got us to the mine with just minutes to spare. A big thanks to him!! Auschwitz was very thought provoking--amazing that people could be so cruel.
While the day is definitely a long one with LOTS of steps, it is very well timed and we found it allowed us more than adequate time to experience the highlights of both experiences without feeling short-changed. Our tour guide for the bus (Peter) was very well informed, communicated the process and timeline very well throughout the day. The guide assigned to us for Auschwitz was similarly excellent, giving us a compassionate but detailed overview of both the Auschwitz and Birkenau 'campuses', and the history contained therein. He related it very effectively to the people, as well as the inhumanity involved. I highly recommend this tour on all levels. Thanks for providing an excellent experience!!
It’s definitely a must, both attractions were educational. Very sad and touching and to see the actual place. The Salt mine what an fascinating place.
The tour to Auschwitz and Birkenau was very impactful. Tour guide knew her stuff & bus drivers was excellent. Salt Mines are a wonderful way to end the day!
The tour was interesting, we had a local guide for every museum. Which was good, because they had a lot of knowledge about the placeses.
A tour everyone should do when visiting Poland. Christopher was an excellent driver and made sure we promptly arrived to each site.
Everything went perfect! Pick up, quides and driver Thomas. Thank You for this long day with looong walks. Despite the many kilometers of walking this was handled perfectly by Thomas and others. The Salt Mine was Beautiful and Auschwitz and Birkenau sad but the quiding with history told was respecting the tragedy that happened there during World War 2.
Long day, lots of walking (wear comfortable shoes) but oh so worth it. Two very memorable places to visit. Salt mines were fascinating, Isabella our guide in the mine was brilliant. Auschwitz-Birkenau was very moving, and our tour guide Anna was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable and very easy to listen and was one of the best tour guides I've ever had in my many travels. The luxury mini bus made the travel between sites very comfortable and Thomas our driver and coordinator was brilliant. Would definitely recommend this tour.
The visits were excellent and the Driver Peter was great as were the 2 separate guides we had for the Salt Mines and Auschwitz Everyone was very informative and knowledgeable buy the Lunch BTW as its very good and prevents queuing to buy at the Salt mines
Great tour! Tour guide was quiet but kept us in track and was kind. The tour guide Pail at Salt Mines was exceptional!
Very insightful. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Everything was organised perfectly.
This was a long day but a tour we would recommend to anyone visiting Krakow. We were picked up at 07:10, by our driver Christopher, who kept us well informed during the day. We visited the Salt Mines first, this was a very enjoyable and interesting tour. We then drove to Auschwitz Birkenau. I was very impressed by how well organised it is, considering thousands of people visit every day. It did not feel rushed or overcrowded at any point. Our guide Joanna delivered the information in a very clear and engaging manner. Although it is upsetting to see and hear such harrowing details, it is all delivered with dignity and respect for the victims. We were dropped off back at our hotel, the whole trip was around 12 hours but well worth it. We didn't order the lunch box as our hotel provided one for us, so can't comment on this, but other people seemed happy with the contents. I must add that we were provided with sufficient comfort/toilet breaks throughout the day. Thank you.
The day was long and we walked a lot, but it was really worth it. We visited the salt mine first, which was a good idea. There were a lot of other visitors in both places, so going with a group and a professional guide is more convenient than going by yourself. Guide Mario, who was with us the whole day, was great, and so was Simon, who guided us in the salt mine.
Communication, in the main, was good. But we were very disappointed when the lunches we had ordered (x 4) were not provided - we were the only ones on the tour where this had been forgotten! The driver did stop off at a petrol station for us but choices were extremely limited! Other than this, a good trip. Really enjoyed the trip to the Salt Mines and the guide at Auschwitz was excellent.
Auschwitz-Birkenau is a deeply grounding experience & Salt Mines incredible, found both guilds were informative. This combined tirp was great opportunity to do both on the same day albeit took about 11 1/2hrs. We received confirmation of the booking, clear instructions of collection meeting place & instructions throughout the day. We opted for the lunch box, which felt as a whole was good value for money. Both places visited were quite different & the guides knowledgeable & must see’s when visiting the area. Would highly recommend.
On both parts of the day the guides made the experience. At Auschwitz-Birkenau the guide was really informative and professional, it’s such a sobering visit and she gave such detail during every part that I left knowing so much more about the events. At Wieliczka Salt Mines the guide had a great balance of humour and attention to detail, some of the scenery was incredible, very enjoyable visit. It is a long day but thoroughly worth it, two hugely contrasting visits , glad I did both. PS lots of walking.
An excellent day all round. Albeit Auschwitz Birkenau was very poignant given its past history. The pick up was very timely and the whole day ran very smoothly. The guides at both locations were very knowledgeable and imparted just the right amount of knowledge to make the whole day vert enlightening.
Our driver Peter did a great job of organising us through out the day. He planned our stops and where we would meet and gave us good tips throughout the day. The mini van was comfortable. Highly recommended.
This is a very well organised tour of 2 must see places. The transport was a very comfortable mini coach . The guides were very informative and it was a great day. The lunch pack was also very good with plenty to eat which lasted us the day
Extremely knowledgeable guides, very comfy minibus, picked us up promptly. Plenty of time at the salt mines and at Auschwitz. Would recommend
An amazing trip, a long day but totally worthwhile. Both guides and driver Peter were very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Auschwitz was the highlight, important for people to see the evil that was there so can never occur again. We as a family did. We were informed by whatsapp if every small detai so knew in advance pick up times and even where our bus was during the trip. Thanks to all.
We had such a great day. It started with the salt mine, which was very interesting. There are alot of stairs but anyone can do it, it's not that bad. What is inside that mine will blow your mind. Afterwards we did the two camp sites. It made it a Somber Day but we learned even more than what we knew. Our tour guides were awesome, bus ride comfortable, and driver was very cognizant of the van being warm or cold. I would recommend this 100%
Well organised and worthwhile trip. Timings were pretty much perfect, and the local guides were good. The only thing I would have welcomed would have been a little guidance from the driver on roughly how long each section of the trip would take, when we set off - it's useful to know if it is EG 45 mins or 2 hours!
Guides are very knowledgeable and caring about the subject matter. Spoke fluent English. It is a long day but definitely worth it. The salt mines are incredible. What a feat of engineering. You need to be able-bodied as there are so many steps down. Even if you have seen films or read books about the Holocaust, nothing prepares you for the reality of the scale of the evil of the Nazis and the heartbreak of seeing the museum exhibits and hearing the details of their hideous crimes whilst standing where their feet trod. Our guide was so calm and factual which made this a good approach when dealing with such an emotive subject, but also didn’t shy away from answering questions or providing further explanations. If you are visiting Krakow, this is an experience not to be missed.
Pick up and drop off was hassle free. Tour operator was easily contactable throughout the day. Guide was very informative and knowledgeable.
Our day started at the salt mine with an organised pick up which was on time and informative. The guide at the salt mine was excellent providing great factual information about the location, she was engaging and humorous. The mine was mind blowing and awe inspiring! We then transferred to Auschwitz which was eye opening and shocking in equal measure. Again the guide Vikroria was so knowledgable, respectful and spoke in such a manner that we hung off every word. The tour involved quite a bit of walking but was not excessive. Birkenau was a much more open sight which was vast but again the guide went to great lengths to explain the experiences of the prisoners, leaving you in no doubt has to the horrendous situation they had found themselves. Would highly recommend both tours
It was super organised trip communication driving efficiency time management were exemplary The tourist guides were great in explaining things Take umbrella and rain poncho plus winter jacket as it can be rainy and cold still a great experience Not for people with mobility issues Full day occupied 11 hours start to finish Take the lunch they offer as lot more economical than trying to get something here and there Probably one of the best city tours we did through Viator
Amazing experience and Peter was a good driver. Trip was very well organised the communications and the lunch provided were very good. Both the guides were very knowledgeable and engaging thought.
