The hotel itself is fine, we booked a room with a river view. We could see the river but, I wouldn't call it a view, from the 4th floor the view was obscured by the conference centre attached to the hotel, for a 'clear' river view book above the 4th floor. The room was clean and spacious but, the heated towel rail in the bathroom and the safe didn't work. The reason we didn't mention this during our stay was because when we checked in, the staff didn't seem interested. They made no recommendations just handed us the key card, not even directed to the room. The hotel is ideally located for all of the Krakow sites but, at no point did the hotel staff make this obvious. We have stayed in other hotels in other cities and they have made us aware of things to do and places to visit, not the Qubus. Very disappointed as this is listed as a 4 stare hotel, maybe the location matches this but, the service and the rooms do not.

A really great spot in the center of Kraków with a stunning view of the city and the Vistula River. Clean rooms and a spacious lobby featuring a bar that serves delicious drinks. There is a swimming pool overlooking the Vistula and the city. The breakfasts are fantastic—tasty and packed with a wide variety of fresh products; there is so much choice that it’s hard to decide what to eat. I definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return someday.
This review is for anyone choosing between Qubus and Galaxy (similar locations and amenities). We stayed at both and Galaxy was better and less expensive. The Galaxy pool and spa area was clean, beautiful, spacious, and never crowded. The saunas are in the pool area and always hot, and the steam sauna reminded me of a hamam. Qubus pool was smaller, not as nice, and ALWAYS crowded, and the saunas are on another floor, smaller, and were never hot. Our room at Galaxy was double the size of our room at Qubus, with a river view, and it had digital air conditioning that worked great. Qubus has old manual air conditioning that barely worked. It wasn’t working at all when we arrived and maintenance had to come to fix it. I don’t know if these hotels allow pets but the Qubus room smelled a bit like dog. Also in terms of housekeeping and room amenities, at Qubus the only amenity was shampoo and the bottle was empty and we had to call reception again. At Galaxy we were provided with slippers, shower caps, a sewing kit, and vanity kits. The towel drying rack didn’t work at Qubus; it worked at Galaxy. Breakfast was good at both hotels. Qubus was probably better because they had smoked salmon. But it was very crowded compared to Galaxy.
We stayed here with my wife and our two children, and it was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. It is incredibly family-friendly while still feeling luxurious. Why my family loved it: Exceptional Service: The staff was extremely pleasant and patient with the kids. They made us feel right at home from the very first minute. The Food is "Mega": Honestly, the breakfast is outstanding. Even with picky eaters (our children), there was so much variety that everyone left the table full and happy. Cleanliness & Comfort: The hotel is spotless and very well-kept. It’s "czyściutko" as they say—everything was fresh, tidy, and beautifully designed. Pool with a View: The swimming pool and jacuzzi were the highlight of our evenings. Relaxing in the water while looking out over the Old Town is simply unforgettable. The Highlight: The Hotel Boat! The location is great, but having their own private boat to get to Wawel Castle is a genius touch. The kids absolutely loved the boat ride—it turned a simple commute into a fun adventure. It’s the easiest and most scenic way to get to the heart of Krakow. Final thoughts: If you are traveling with a family, Qubus Hotel Krakow is the place to be. Great food, amazing views, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
The hotel is not 5 stars but it is 5 stars at being a 4 star hotel. Price was very good, well located just outside of the main part of Krakow. The service was good and the lobby bar was decent. The free gym/pool area with sauna was impressive on the 6th floor with glass windows all around providing a great view.
