Our staying was awful. Despite the beautiful location we were so much disappointed. First of all, no hot water at all and stuff didn’t help us to solve it. Secondly, a dirty shelves near beds , a bunch of dust on surfaces. Thirdly, absence of hot water again – I mention it twice bc it was very painful at the moment. Also we couldn’t find the place for breakfast and it turned out to be a separate cafe with very poor breakfast. Staff weren’t responsive and helpful. The price is acceptable but not for that bad conditions

👍🏻 Positives: Very big and comfortable rooms, we were with a baby and it was good for us that they were spacious so that she could crawl around freely. We also liked that it was really easy with the self check-in and check-out. The place was clean wich is not very easy when you keep in mind that there are carpets in the whole apartment. ⛔️ Negatives: It is actually not their fault but it is wat it is - Friday and Saturday night were just nightmare - there were some bars on the street and there was unbelievable noise and yelling all night long - until at least 4 a.m., it was so hard for the baby to have a good sleep... As for the hotel itself, it was strange for me that there was no fridge and no shampoo - only these small one-time plastic little packs. The curtains were not very thick which in combination with the noise outside made it really heard to at least darken the room so that the baby could sleep
We stayed at this hotel with EasyJet Holidays. First of all easyJet said it was called Astoria Gold. The photos of it were misleading. We arrived late at night not able to get in , only for guests letting us into the reception area, we would have been left on the street! Self check was poor. The room we stayed in had an air conditioner that did not work ! Just a table fan left on the TV cabinet. The location was great that’s why I gave location 5stars. The breakfast was at the restaurant next door, not buffet style as pictured.
Arrived to a key pad on the main entrance door. Apparently supposed to receive a text on the day of arrival with the code but no text was sent. Stress!! I then had to contact them for the code which wasnt ideal as it was raining heavily and stuck out on the street. We eventually got in to noone on reception, basically self service. Got up to our room and it was twice as warm as outside. A/C works but doesnt cool the room down for whatever reason. But its all good because there was a tiny fan waiting for us so clearly they knew the a/c wasnt working. Still, we had to sleep with the windows open. In the 4 nights we were there our room was never cleaned and its more hassle to contact them than it is to just leave it. Theres no information on breakfast times either. Great location tho just poor service and rooms are like a greenhouse. We were also given a ‘city view room’ which looked onto the street and basically into someones home across the road. Feel very let down to be honest.
Absolutely vile. We arrived for our weekend holiday at the hotel where we had originally booked and assumed the hotel was “Astoria gold” which we quickly learnt that the hotel had changed and we were left in the dark about it. We had arrived quite late at night and attempted to enter our hotel when we were met with a code at the door and no one inside, we tried to call the number on the door and left with no answer. We eventually gained access through another guest and found a qr code for us to contact, within minutes we received the codes that we should have already received before even arriving to the hotel. The room was not clean, flies and bugs on the ceilings, walls and beds was not a pleasant experience, we found hairs that didn’t belong to us, bodily hair and things under the bed that could’ve clearly been swept away had it been properly cleaned. We raised concerns with the hotel at around 1am and was left with no response until 3pm the following afternoon. We felt extremely uncomfortable to the point where three of us had to sleep in one bed as the other bed had flies and hair on it. We placed the do not disturb on the door when we left the next morning and came back to towels and shampoo in the room, we did not ask for these and specifically did not want people in our room, this felt like an invasion of our privacy.
