Overall, a good tour. The snorkeling was good, site beautiful. However, they say that the max number in the people boat is 35 but they crammed 40 in our boat and it was uncomfortably overcrowded. Everyone was practically in each other’s laps. As a result, we used a different tour operator for our Phi Phi island tour and found the boat far more comfortable.

Itinerary
Enjoy a convenient pickup service either by local truck on road from the hotel lobby or directly by speed boat from the hotel beach on Koh Lanta. Meet the friendly and professional crew of Tin Adventure Sea Tour on the boat and get a warm welcome with safety instructions and important information about the tour program. Cruise by comfortable speed boat with 35 limited seats in less than 30 minutes to Koh Mook and anchor in front of the spectacular Emerald Cave - the highlight of the tour. Put your life-jackets on and swim through an 80-meter dark tunnel with headlamps between the group members. Finally, the daylight is started to stream through and you will discover a 360° rainforest wall which is disappearing into the clouds above, protecting a pristine lagoon, hidden within the island. Continue to Koh Kradan and swim in the open water with a shallow coral reef. A buffet lunch of local Thai food is served at the beach on the island. After lunch, you can walk along the beach for a bit, wade into the water, and just take it easy. This beach truly is serene – the water is crystal clear, and the sand is white and fine with seashells as you come closer to the water. The next snorkel stop is at Koh Chuak, a small island with its own charm that actually lies in the sea. Beneath the aquamarine water is a whole new world of colors created by coral reefs, fish and other sea creatures that needs to be explored. The last stop will be on Koh Ngai, also referred to as Koh Hai. It's another island off the coast of Trang without roads and shops at all, only with a couple of resorts, tranquility and a gorgeous beach scenery. This is the perfect place to relax and bring the day to a close before heading back to your hotel on Koh Lanta. Itinerary: • 08:00 - 09:00: Hotel pickup on Koh Lanta • 09:00 - 09:30: Cruise by speed boat to Koh Mook • 09:30 - 10:30: Swim through a dark tunnel to the Emerald Cave • 10:30 - 11:30: Open water snorkeling in front of Koh Kradan • 11:30 - 12:00: Enjoy a Thai buffet lunch on Koh Kradan • 12:00 - 13:00: Relax & sunbath on the beach of Koh Kradan • 13:00 - 14:00: More snorkeling at Koh Chuak • 14:00 - 15:00: Relax, sunbath & walk around Koh Ngai • 15:00 - 15:30: Head back to Koh Lanta • 15:30 - 16:30: Transfer back to the hotel
Meet at Saladan Pier on Koh Lanta at 07:50.

Very good experience with Nun (Leonardo di caprio) and his staff. Due to bad weather conditions, we need to change the orders of the islands and everything was done professionally. Regarding the 4 Islands, it was stunning ! But you will see by yourselves 😁😁😁
The staff were very kind and professional with attention to safety and fun. The food was really good, and the whole experience felt loving and easy. I definitely would adventure with them again.
Very nice tour and very well organized. The only thing I would say is the food is cold because it’s kept on the boat until it’s time for lunch. But everything else about the tour was very nice. The boat was also not over packed and it was easy to move around. Very helpful tour guides as well.
The guides were excellent. The snorkelling was good and the beaches were great. The sea at the entrance to the Emerald cave was quite rough, a bit more direction to people to stay away from the sides of the cave would be advisable.
Positives- hotel pick up and drop off was good and the food and water was good. Negatives- the boat wasn’t well set up for a day trip. Not much space to relax or to see any scenery when travelling. No boat briefing re our itinerary and the boat arrived at all places at the same time as lots of other boats so it was crowded. I’d always wanted to visit Ko Kradan but the reality was that you get dropped off in the edge of the island with everyone else and stand up to eat lunch on the edge of a narrow slip of sand. Emerald cave. No briefing about what to expect. The cave is beautiful but is packed with tours going through and so you get kicked and jostled a lot. It’s tidal and so hard to swim even for strong swimmers with life jackets. Some boats had a system where they escorted people through in a chain. Our boat left everyone to sort themselves and it was very dangerous, dark as the tour leader wasn’t close by with head torch. Recommendations- limit tour numbers allowed to go into and out of the cave at any time. One in and one out. Tour operator needs a better boat briefing and must do the safety system for getting people in and out. All in all- too many people and not a relaxing day. I wouldn’t recommend it.
We had an amazing time. The tour was done very professionally and punctually. No stay on each island was too long or too short. The snorkeling was great, especially for inexperienced snorklers. The Emerald cave was excellent. Expect a lot of people to be doing the tour at the same time from other boats. A great day out and reasonably priced. The food, refreshments and staff were top notch.
Friendly and professional crew, taking us to beautiful sights! Our guide did a great job telling us timelines for the day (boat travel time and time at each stop), and was informational about activities. On our day, the Emerald Cave was filled with jelly fish (at lunch, the boats that went in the morning told our guide). Our guide told us before we went, and gave our boat the option of not going or going so the crew could look if the jellies were gone. They were not gone, so we did not go in. While it would have been cool to see the Emerald Cave, I am grateful the crew and guide were honest about risks and dangers. The other stops all had great snorkeling! Mask and snorkel are provided, no fins. At the last snorkel spot, most people stayed on the beach but my husband and I went to snorkel. We went the wrong way off the beach and would have missed the reef, but the captain came into the water and gave us a guided tour of the reef.
Best tour I have done so far in Thailand. The swimming through the cave was a great experience - there were life jackets for anyone that didn’t feel confident swimming the distance or in the sea. The crew had a dry bag for your phones so you could swim without them but have them at the beach at the end of the cave/tunnel. We weren’t able to stop at all of the snorkelling sights due to lots of jelly fish - the crew took great care to ensure where we swam was safe. The food at lunch was good and I was catered for as a vegetarian which most tours haven’t done. The beach stops were great too. All in all a great day out.
There are a zillion tourists all going out the island tours every day, so expect it to be crowded. Having said that, Tin Adventures is organised and makes sure everything runs smoothly. They have lots of water during the day, a few snacks, a great boat, and friendly staff. You'll have a fantastic day!
Very well organised with super helpful and fun tour guides on the boat we had a fantastic time. Very good value for money. A few things to note - Which islands you visit depends on the weather The emerald cave is amazing BUT would not recommend unless a decent swimmer and don't mind dark spaces as you need to swim through a cave to get there which had rocks and strong currents. They do provide life jackets and some people decided not to use them. Expect to get wet on the boat with spray! It's a long tour and they provide a nice lunch but would recommend bringing snacks as you are swimming quite a long time and work up an appetite. WEAR SUNSCREEN. sounds obvious but we went on a drizzly day and the wind can really make you forget. One application missed before going on the water led to us to have very burnt bums and shoulders.
The Emerald Cave is a great and unique experience swimming 80m through a tunnel into a secluded beach. The snorkelling elsewhere was so-so as water a bit cloudy but still worth it.Beaches are good
Amazing! Best snorkelling trip I’ve been on by far - staff were very friendly and gave really good tours of all the snorkelling spots, seeking out sting rays, starfish and even a turtle to show us! Definitely worth booking whilst you’re in koh lanta! At the end they took us through the mangroves to see the monkeys as well - they really went above and beyond!
no words needed.......all good and to recommend Love & Peace Malva & Markus PS if its not nice to give me pressure to write more.....because i wrote how i feel, not how you mean it has to be
Excellent tour, class A boat, very nice crew and paradise-like beaches. The bufet thai food served on the beach was great too. Highly recommended. 1
Super nice tour of snorkeling and swimming into the Emerald cave. Good lunch on the beach. Very nice guys: one showed me a sting ray! Hood value for money!
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Thailand (and we did a lot of boat tours on this vacation). The spectacular Emerald Cave, the wonderful white-sand beaches at Koh Kradan and Koh Ngai, as well as the snorkeling stops were all amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful - we loved that they dived with us at the snorkeling stops to show us the greatest spots and the most fascinating fish.
Great tour seeing 4 islands and swimming to see the emerald cave. Very comfortable boat and attentive staff. Lunch is great too
Well organised. Good service. Nothing to complain. Pre-trip communication excellent. Transport as expected. Good lunch good sites.
The entire day was well organised from beginning to end. The guides were great. I highly recommend Tin Adventures.
Nice trip with nice and caring crew. Nice visit to the Emerald cave and nice snorkelling The only negative was the last stop of the day where we were supposed to do the last snorkelling which didn’t work out well so most of the group stayed in a café.
Our group enjoyed much in 4 island trip. There was enough staff who organised everything for the group, kept up with the schedule, served water, cola and juice. I enjoyed that the trip was not too easy: swimming through the cave was amazing and snorkling on the quite huge waves requires swimming skills (lifejackets are available). We had a very windy day with big waves. I was scared in the boat but we did have a very good driver.
Well-organized, loved all the stops, and everybody was very kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend!
Good tour but nothing special. I think the guides should highlight the distance they will be swimming while snorkeling as fins and sting suits are not provided. Our third stop was a long swim and the tide changed so a few people had to be pulled from the water with a lot of help from others on the tour rather than the guides (several others had already got out due to stings in the water). The Emerald Cave is the highlight here and we went there first so the rest of the trip didn't quite live up to it. The last stop was on a small beach with some cafés and very choppy water so didn't think it was worth it.
The Team did a great job visting all of the sites and giving us ample time and resources to enjoy them! Lunch was tasty too!
This was amazing! The guides really make this tour. One guide snorkeled with us and showed us all the good spots! His spirit was amazing. He is an active person who seems to love this so much. You have 3 stops to snorkel for 30 minutes+ a piece. Lunch was wonderful. There’s also snacks and fruit and water and sodas. The timing is perfect. Boat has shade and our tour wasn’t too crowded. Mix of people from various countries, ages, adults and kids. They also have a guide of common tropical fish in the area. The spots you stop are locations you’d never get on your own. We were secluded and private a lot of the time. No crowds and didn’t feel touristy. I’d do it again and so worth the money.
Great trip with Tin when visiting the emerald cave. Tip - Don’t sit at the front of the boat all the day unless well covered.! Sunburn 😬 The guides were helpful and nice.. great trip. Thanks
8hr trip, 1hr max snorkelling across 2 stops. If you want to sit on the beach, this is the trip for you, if you want to snorkel, look elsewhere. 1st stop - beach for 50 mins. We are staying on Koh Lanta, they have great beaches already so sat in the hotel beach restaurant and had a smoothie. Did we only come to this place as there is some sort of deal with the hotel? 2nd stop - snorkelling 30 mins. Water was very mirky, no guidance on where the best spots were, only info was to not touch the sharp rocks. 3rd stop - snorkelling 30 mins. Water was much better, still no guidance as to good spots, just that the rocks are sharp, again. 4th stop - same island. 1hr 40mins at a beach, again. Lunch which was nice then lots of people looking at each other after 30 mins wondering what was going on. 5th stop - Emerald cave - as advertised. Swim through the cave, 30 mins on beach, swim back. Zero information from the guide but there was a sign we read. Advertised as 4 island + Emerald Cave. Actually only 3 islands. Weather was blue skies and calm, it has been fantastic weather for 3-4 days now so can only presume that the mirky water snorkel stop is just a bad location ALWAYS. Crew became chatty on the way back to dropping us all off and fruit was offered to everyone. Made sense as that was when they then asked for tips for the crew. Honestly, we wanted snorkelling, this was the worst trip we have been on for snorkelling and the staff/crew may as well have not been there. Shame, I hate leaving bad reviews and this is the 1st bad review on our 6 week stay on Koh Lanta.
Such a fabulous day! Really good communication and an easy pick up from our hotel made for a good start. Swimming through The Emerald Cave was a great experience. People might feel a little apprehensive but it is really worth doing. Yes, there were quite a few boats there but I don’t feel it detracted from the overall experience. Then off to another 2 islands to do some snorkeling. Some of the best snorkeling I’ve ever done, so many fish! The guides were fantastic and good at taking you to the best spots and pointing out lots of different sea creatures. Fabulous lunch of Chicken, rice and Curry. Then on to another island for the last stop. Such a beautiful beach with Crystal clear water - great relaxing spot! Then we were dropped off on the beach just by our accommodation. We went with our 2 teenage girls and had a fantastic day out! This trip had a little bit of everything! Thank you. 💕
Well organized day full of fun and engaging activity. Delicious lunch with variety. Would recommend Tin highly.
Excellent trip, amazing beautiful nature and very helpful staff! I would use this company again and recommend to others
This tour is a must for everyone who is spending more than 2 days on Koh Lanta. The difficult part is choosing the company to do it with, don't hesitate to make the trip with Tin, the guys are really taking care and provide great experience.
The best tour on the island. Friendly people, nice boat and the trip was really nice. No hurry, just relax and enjoy. When snorkeling stay with the captain, he knows the right spots and has a great job😉 I would prefer this one above the Koh Rok tour. Better snorkeling spots and more time.
Stunning Locations and a really professionally run trip, highly recommended for families and small groups.
Don’t take the long tail boat tours, they are very slow, and you spend most of the time on the boat, the speed boats are much better This tour is a waste of time, the first two stops are just ridiculous; they stopped close to a mountain no beach, you suppose to snorkel next to the boat, you don’t see anything, next stop is the cave which is the only good part of the trip, and the final stop is for lunch and you have limited time to be at the beach Instead book a tour to Rok and Koh Ha islands by speed boat, this was the best tour, beautiful islands; plenty of time to snorkel and swim, good lunch too
Excellent trip, well organised, snorkelling was great, especially at Koh Mook where one of the crewman took a video of Nemo, family of 3. Thumbs up Tin Adventure!
Super funny and friendly team on board, great 'Bond' style pick up from hotel by speed boat. Lots of food and drink throughout day, lunch was superb and 24 hours notice of our 4 veggies ensured a wonderful spread amidst impressive meat centred lunch. Locations of islands were divine, the best with a bar for an afternoon cocktail! Emerald cave was an exciting element. All in all, fabulous day out. Thankyou Tin Adventures!
Lots of islands to see. Picked up by speedboat but it did a few pickups before we started the trip 1 snorkelling stop then we Went to a few islands where you can snorkel. Lunch was nice Thai food. Water and coke available on the trip and afternoon snack brought round. Tour guide was nice and friendly and explained where we went. Didn’t have the best English so struggle to understand some things. The best part was the 80 m swim through emerald cave to a private beach. Great experience. Last stop is at Koh Noi which is a beautiful beach and nice resorts where you get 1.5 hour to relax
My wife and I had a great time with the tour. The speedboat was a really neat way to get around as transport was quick between the islands so we had more time to enjoy ourselves. The day was a mix of snorkelling, swimming through the Emerald Cave, and relaxing on the beach. The tour guides were super helpful and made sure we had drinks and snacks throughout the day. Thank you!!
This tour was better then other tours I've done in Thailand. They go the extra mile, water, cola, cookies and towels are all included. Very helpful staff and great islands!
Tour was well done. Nice snorkeling. Crew was very good at what they do. Always had a beverage for you. Lunch was done well. Nothing to crowded. Snorkel sites were great with plenty of room to explore.
We weren’t sure what to expect from the day as not many reviews on here and we ended up having such an amazing time! Sunbathed on the front of the boat, lots of amazing snorkelling and swimming. Lovely lunch and ample water and fruit and biscuits on the journey home. Picked up from our beach. Fully recommend this tour
I would certainly do this again. Be sure to bring extra sun screen because of all the time in and out of the water! This includes pick up and drop off from your hotel. It was a short drive to the marina from the Lanta Sands resort. We were greeted with cold bottles of refreshing water before getting onto the boat. The day was fun and the locations were so beautiful! The cave was the best part ;)
Great crew and stunning locations for some good snorkeling. However, boat very busy +30 people on it , be better with 20% less people and a 20% higher price.
Very warm welcome and very considerate perfect organization on the other hand we state very numerous for excursions, beautiful discovery of the seabed with different species of fish with a meal on the beach 🏖️, discovery of beautiful islands to do during your stay in Thailand
A fantastic trip. We were in doubt if it would be too hectic and for the time pressure with many tourists. But it was a super exciting trip. Snorkeling was great both at stop 2 and stop 3. At Ko Kradan, take your snorkeling equipment down past the toilets and then swim out to the corals at the small beach (this is the fence for the same purpose). There was a fantastic fishing life close to land and many on our trip did not really pay attention to that part. The cave was also exciting. A little challenge to swim in there. Wear life vests - even if you feel like you're a good swimmer. Then you don't panic in the dark. The crew was super cute and helpful and the lunch was good. A huge recommendation from here.
A very nice outing , magnificent crew, very good organization in visiting the islands, very good explanations in good mood. Even the meal was very good. To be done again next time.
I recommend! The boat was busy but we were not tight. Everything was perfect: organization, food,...
- Very well organized: Hotel pickup and subsequent transfer back to the hotel worked great - Delicious food and plenty of drinks available: For lunch there was masaman curry or a vegetarian dish as well as fruit - Locations: Plenty of time at each spot for snorkeling or lying on the beach or exploring the cave. In addition, we always arrived before the big tour groups, so we were usually very few people at the location. - Group sizes: Was with about 30-35 people not too large
