Snorkeling Phi Phi Islands Tour From Phi Phi By Speedboat

The experience was amazing. The captain and others on the boat were great. They even helped me recover the snorkelling equipment I dropped. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is due to the really rude tour guide that we had. I had a bit of difficult understanding her and asked for somethings t be repeated a few times but she would tell me that she has already answered this and finally she asked me if I spoke English.... This soured the experience a bit for us....

great snorkeling and nature views. best way to start exploring krabi i would say. don't forget hat, sunscreen as sun can burn you i prefer long sleeves on longer stays on sun.

Excellent experience. The guides took us to all the iconic spots and gave us plenty of time to snorkel. Lunch was tasty. The bioluminescent plankton at the end of the night was a nice surprise.

Boat was packed full of people and not comfortable. Half of the spots you stop at are protected areas and you cannot snorkel

Great "best of" sights that everyone comes to see. Staff was helpful, professional, upbeat, and knew their jobs. It's a beautiful place and they were able to show it to us safely. Having a speedboat means less time boating and more time at the destinations.

I saw a lot, probably 1h 40 snorkeling in total. We visited beautiful lagoons and beaches and had lunch on bamboo island with a stunning view. I can recommend it

I can only recommend this trip. The organization was great. The staff were professional. Great opportunities for shooting photos in the sunset.

This was a truly incredible excursion! We’ve been in Thailand for 12 days so far and this is probably our favorite activity. We did the half day and sunset tour which ended up being perfect. You start off by seeing a few monkey, then go to an amazing snorkeling spot (with little sharks!), then off to another snorkeling spot, to Maya Bay which is stunning, then a pretty lagoon to swim and jump off the boat, then go watch the sunset, and finally once it gets dark you get to snorkel one last time to see the plankton light up! We had be best guide and everything just felt comfortable and easy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun activity!

This was very disappointing with half of the listed places closed or off limits. All locations visited were extremely busy and not enjoyable. Monkey beach was closed as monkeys have been biting, Viking cave closed, Mosquito Island closed, pulled in next to a cliff to snorkel but not sign of any life in the water. Pi-leh lagoon was bi passed for some unknown reason. Visited bamboo island along with 50 plus other boats. Waited for sunset to come to look at plankton but nothing around. An expensive trip for no memorable moments. If there was a next time i would look at hiring a private long boat, at least then you can try and work around the bust areas as all tours seemed to be following similar schedules.

Great way to see the highlights of the Phi Phi Islands and spend less time boating around since it was by speed boat. Was a bit disorganized because the meeting point was very hectic with so many people getting off the ferries and meeting for other tours so it was unclear who our guides were for awhile. Guides on the boats were friendly but only one spoke English and we were never sure where we were going next so this is good to just go along for the ride if you don’t want an informative excursion. We went to Maya Bay last right before it closed which turned out to be really nice because very few people were there but stressful at first because I was worried it would close or the sun would set before we got to see Maya Bay.

This was a really good way to see the phi phi islands but it was A LOT for one day. Time was rushed at some islands and overrun by crowds. The waves were also intense so a lot of people got seasick, but it could’ve just been the day. We did see some cool fish, but snorkeling is better in Krabi in my opinion.

This tour was by far my favourite part of my holiday. The staff were so lovely and so fun and made our experience so much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend and would love to do the tour again.

Saw lots of monkeys 🐒 on Monkey Beach. Snorkeling twice and even encountered sharks at Shark Point. But Maya Bay was the crown jewel of the trip. Spectacular trip and the crew did everything to make our trip great.

A lot of people seeing same stuff so a little rushed as had schedule to follow. Typical touristy tour.

So there is no getting over the crowd at the Phi Phi Islands, but taking that into account the tour was great. The island for Maya Bay is an absolute zoo, but once you actually get to the beach you can find a clear spot on the sand to take in the beauty. The same with boating between the cliffs - completely overcrowded with boats, but still breathtakingly beautiful. The snorkeling wasn't the best, but we did spot a couple of black tip sharks and sea turtles. The crew was very friendly and great to work with, which makes a huge difference in tours.

You will spend most of the time travelling from 1 island to another in the speed boat. The viking cave and monkey cave are a waste of time, at Maya Beach you cannot swim and we get 45 mins for snorkelling and 1 hour at khai beach. Everything is very rushed, if this something you are Ok with then this tour is for you. Nothing bad about the company since these tours are operated in similar fashion by other companies.

Tour guide was great- very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw the main attractions around Phi Phi including Maya bay at the end of the day when it wasn’t so crowded. Great tour for the price!

We had an amazing time. Although we thought we’d be in a smaller group. They allowed us plenty of time at each stop. And they were also efficient with our time. There was some confusion as to where the meeting stop was. I had to message the operator to come to the meeting spot after the departure time had arrived but they hadn’t. My husband lacerated his foot jumping off the front of the boat and needed five stitches. We were in the area of baby sharks. All was well some of the tourists on board assisted, medically, and we were ok. The staff made us remove our wrist bands indicating which tour company we were with before quickly taking us to the hospital. The were really friendly and super helpful with my husband and really cared for his safety. They even came back to take photos of him to ensure he was ok. They even came back an hour later to ask us if we wanted to take the same tour again (obviously we wouldn’t after the accident). But we liked that detail. I believe some extra safety measures would’ve kept us from having him slice open his foot. I’m sure he’ll be the last one to jump off the front of the boat. Besides that, we had an AMAZING TIME!

It was a day well spent. Although we had a whole day trip it was not too long at all. We had some private time in a couple of islands and enough snorkeling and chilling in the water. Lunch was simple but good. Unlimited cola and water.

Perfect trip and the money is really worth it! Friendly staff, who brings you to nice places and takes the time for photos and exploring the surroundings. One tip: try to reduce the garbage by offering bigger water bottles/coke cans ;)

The trip was incredible! The guides were knowledgeable about the best times to hit different spots depending on the time of day, we’re beyond friendly, and considerate to everyone onboard. The snorkeling was beautiful, and our guide got into the water to show us where the sharks were! (Don’t worry- they’re small and not aggressive!) The tide was thankfully high and we were able to pop into this lagoon that felt like a dream. The water was surreal. I’m definitely coming out of this vacation with some incredible memories from this excursion.

Not a bad trip to take if you’re already in PP island, it’s affordable and provides you a day full of stops at all of the different beaches around PP. monkey beach is full of monkeys, bamboo beach has soft sand, and maya beach is a beautiful sight. Using a speedboat allows you to stop almost everywhere. Advice- ask to see the bioluminescent plankton after dark.

Amazing experience, however, extremely disappointed that we were not informed prior to departure that Maya Beach was closed. We were only made aware of this when the boat arrived at the bay of Maya Beach and wouldn’t go any closer. This was in August, upon researching we found out that Maya Beach had released a statement about the closure in May, we booked the tour in March - plenty of time to send an email to upcoming customers about a change to the tour schedule. Other than this, the snorkelling stops were excellent with beautiful clear water and vibrant coral reefs.

Guides were very friendly and helpful. I cut my toe quite badly on a rock and they cleaned it up and made sure I was ok. The tour itself was excellent! Beautiful destinations and managed to see the plankton at the end of the day. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide spoke excellent English and had an excellent sense of humor, and the crew was friendly, kind, and professional. We had a bit of a situation with a monkey entering onboard at Monkey Beach, but it was handled quickly and with the safety of the passengers in mind. A full run of the greatest hits of Koh Phi Phi followed, with detailed and fascinating explanations of cultural phenomena that Western travelers might not understand, such as the commercial significance of Viking Caves, and incredible snorkeling. If the sunset or your shark luck wasn’t quite what you had hoped, the guide showed you real life clips from more lucky expeditions, which only served to complete our profound satisfaction with the experience. They even took us to swim with bioluminescent plankton!! Everyone on the boat got to know each other, and saying goodbye to them and the crew felt like saying goodbye to old friends. I couldn’t recommend this tour or the people on it enough, it was incredible.

Fantastic trip and friendly crew. Only drawback was that the english skills of the crew was very poor.

Got to see many nice islands and snorkelling spots. Seeing the sunset over the sea and swimming with the flowing plankton was amazing. You could probably visit most places cheaper with a long tail boat but I don't regret paying for the trip where they take you to all of the best spots.

The diving tour guide spoke good english. Snorkeling spots was nice. Very relaxed, playing and enjoying, seeing the luminous plankton. We saw a beautiful sunset.

A great tour. The guide is very helpful and advised. The fish in Viking bay is the most beautiful. The guide helps me see sharks and swimming with plankton. I will be back on this tour again.

This time has a good time. The guide is good and very helpful. Sites that we visit are great, and tourism doesn't have many people on the machine.

This trip was one of the best we did in Thailand. It was properly organized. The boat was like new and very quick. The staff was very friendly and we visited all the stops except the plankton due to the weather conditions. Would definitely recommend this trip.

The guides were extremely helpful, friendly, and funny. They took great pictures of us and helped us see the sharks. They also provided fresh fruit. Afterwards, we swam with bioluminescent plankton! It was an unforgettable experience and I loved every second of it!

A very unpleasant experience; the excursion was supposed to start at 10:30, but they picked us up at 1:30, and they did not fulfill what was purchased, which included food that was not provided.

Il y a tellement de poissons que nous ne savions plus ou regarder ! Également nous avons vu les singes jouer dans les arbres et 3/4 requins de près ! C’est impressionnant.
