Enjoyed snorkelling and swimming. Always felt safe. Guide was excellent, experienced and helpful. My sister and I saw sharks and monkeys and had a wonderful time.

Itinerary
Discover the beauty of Phi Phi Islands , the famous spots with this full day snorkeling tour. Get conveniently walk to the meet up location at Andaman Beach Resort and then head straight for the bay, where your traditional Longtail boat is waiting. Bamboo Island is the ideal island for relaxing on the white sand beach and snorkeling with many colourful fish in the crystal clear seawater with abundant coral and strolling around the island. Nui Beach is settled in a tiny cove located to the south of Lana Bay on the west coast of Koh Phi Phi Don. Framed by tall karsts which offer excellent rock climbing opportunities, it is a renowned field among snorkelling enthusiasts. A few limestone karts – including one of Phi Phi’s landmarks, Camel Rock - jut out from the sea right in front of the beach, adding to its exotic feel. Viking Cave, there are the swallow nest concessions in the cave at present, the tourists can swim in the seawater, snorkeling on the coral reef, various species of fish. Shark Point is one the most famous and popular diving sites of Koh Phi Phi. It is maybe the best place to spot many Leopard Sharks resting and sleeping.

For a 9 hour “snorkelling tour” I was incredibly disappointed with the 30 minutes we actually got. If you like taking instagram photos and being surrounded by tourists this is the tour for you. After a loud and uncomfortable hour in the boat you will reach your first destination, an island with nothing to do except take photos and swim in the shallow people soup swimming area. The second destination (Maya bay) is the same experience, except you cant even swim :( . The ocean was too rough so the tour was shortened - but not too rough apparently to leave the boat rolling in the huge waves while we waited for the sun to set. We couldn’t even see the sunset because the boat was facing the wrong way the whole time. The first 5 hours felt like a complete waste of time, and for the final 2 hours I was tempted to jump overboard and swim back out of boredom and frustration. The short snorkelling session was fine, nothing amazing.
Starting from Phi Phi made the tour easy, and the longtail boat added a local touch. Maya Bay was stunning, but simply cruising around the islands was just as enjoyable.
They denied boarding to one of us traveling with a baby and refuse to refund the ticket. They said it was because of the wind but weather was calm. Nowhere on the description disallow traveling with a baby
My wife and I had a great time. Lots of opportunities to swim and snorkel. We were lucky to get good weather, and thanks to the crew, we all had an enjoyable time
Very little actual snorkeling, only a little over an hour on the half day afternoon trip. Very disorganized tour, had to wait a long time in the heat/sun to load the boat. It was never really a “small group,” as there were several other boats with “small groups” at the same stops. Highlight was the plankton at night.
Very good experience... We swam with baby sharks, saw monkeys and stunning views. Staff is very friendly and nice.....
A really good tour. Got to see monkeys. Some snorkeling spots where the guide helped to point out the best spots to see sharks. At the end of the trip the guide asked of we wanted to see the bioluminescent plankton so we stopped for a quick snorkeling after the sun had set. A cool extra for an already good tour.
A great packed day of activity. Meeting point busy but provider found us amongst the crowd. Swim and snorkeling was good; only point to consider is it was tricky getting up the steps back onto boat.. I’m 58 & consider myself agile but struggled & much younger people did too…. Obviously Maya Bay was very busy but the tour worked well being dropped off then walking to the beach. Activities well timed throughout the trip.
Thank you Adventure club for life time memories specially thankful to Alan for training us and handing patiently. Best expirence of Scuba in phi phi island
Very bad guide and poor dinner! The tour programme was unorganized!! Other companies offed more things and i don't suggest to others tourists!
Weirdly, the tour guide just ignored me and kept taking other guests. Other guests also kept butting in front of me in the line. It’s an issue with my personality that I don’t stand up for myself enough. I’m working on it. At a certain point, the guide stood up and said that all who had checked in should follow him. That was literally everyone standing there but me. I hadn’t been checked in yet. He had ignored me. When he came back, he started checking in more people. Of course, none of them were me. At one point, I made a comment and he either didn’t hear or didn’t understand. Others in the line did. I had been trying to check into my tour for 20 minutes, ignored the entire time. He reached out his hand and asked for the people next to me’s ticket. They didn’t give it to him. Instead, they just looked over at me. He motioned his empty hand again. I slid my phone with its ticket into his hand. He handed the phone back to me, and took the ticket from the next guest. I walked to the back of the line. I have no idea what the issue was. When I had finally checked in, I was placed in the 10:30 group and not the 10:00 group.
Don’t do it. Waited 45 minutes on the pier before tour started. Guides chain smoked the entire trip, some might not mind this but we did and it spoiled the experience. Guides were rude (accounting for language and cultural differences, guides communicated by shouting and ordering). Everything was rushed. Food was a jam sandwich, orange cordial drink and rice with cabbage, onion and two bits of carrot. For just a little more (ironically our private tour the next day cost the same) you could hire a private boat and have a much better experience. I regret going on this tour immensely.
An example of you get what you pay for. This is the budget option and didn’t suit us. 18 people crammed into one long boat. Yes we got to tick off the main tourist spots but could see nothing from the boat until it stopped somewhere, and a day is a long time to be looking at peoples backs and low tarpaulin. Maya beach stop was the best part - this is when you get to go via the national park to the beach itself. Just ignore the annoying instagram photo takers and enjoy the natural beauty of the place. Worth doing if on a budget but if you can afford it get a private option. If you go with this try to get a seat up the front so you can see out.
This was lovely as you got to see the beautiful islands. But everything was rushed- no information about the places visited from the tour guides. Was sad to see how commercialised & over populated by tourists the damage is doing to these beautiful islands. If you are going to visit Phi Phi pay a bit more either stay on the island or have your own visit tour.
The views were amazing and the snorkelling was beautiful! The boat drivers are well experienced and very friendly! Would definitely do this again :)
The excursion was great, we have seen all the mentioned places and more and witnessed the sunset, we have had a great time, the guide was funny and explained everything with details, he also had a fluent English so we understood everything and had fun. It was very enjoyable, I recommend this excursion, Thank you 🙏🏼
This was great! We went to 2 spots for snorkeling, a spot for lunch/shopping, and 2 spots for sight seeing. Even with a bit of rain at the beginning of the trip it was still fabulous.
The snorkelling was definitely a highlight of this trip the reef was absolutely beautiful so many fish and even saw a black tip reef shark it was absolutely beautiful I really recommend going snorkelling while in phi phi islands. The longboat ride itself was really fun, a little bumpy when waves hit but very fun experience and nothing to worry about. Maya bay is beautiful but swimming is prohibited in the bay which unfortunately I didn’t realise beforehand, really crowded but a nice spot for photos only since you can’t go into the water so prepare for that. Water and fruit is provided for the half day tour that we took.
Great experience, nice spots to visit, yoi can see a lot of fish and sharks (we saw bigger reef shark at shark point and baby reef sharks at bamboo beach and at maya bay) we would recommend half day tour and split the destinations. Full day tour was too long and exhausting.
Lovley crew! The half day tour was perfect lenght. Enough time for everything! I reccomend people bringing earplugs! It can get loud at times when u drive.
The views were amazing, boat ride was great too. I loved the experience and the tour guudes were great! I did the sunset tour and loved it. Best sunset I have ever seen.
It was advertised as a snorkeling trip but there was only one snorkeling opportunity out of 4 stops. Using the steps into the boat from deep water was a nightmare as they only were at chest height so getting one’s feet on the bottom step was very difficult. Some boats had extension ladders which were a minimum requirement and some operators had thoughtfully covered the metal rungs with cloth to make it more comfortable. Our operators i found abrupt to the point of rudeness. They rushed us off the pier at the beginning only to have us sitting in the heat for more than 20 minutes before the boat was ready. Not recommended.
The experience is totally worth it, but first book it on the spot as through this website I paid exactly double! There is always availability, and take food with you as breakfast is a slice of white bread and lunch is a little container of literally white rice with a few pieces of veggies. So if you relay on them …all day out in the water you will starve. Again do not book through Viator! There this tour costs 600 baht
Amazing experience! All the spots are beautiful and the value is extremely good for a 9hour tour. The only downside I find is Monkey beach. I don't think people should be allowed to walk there and feed the monkeys. They are quite aggressive and even bit one of the ladies in our boat while she was just walking over there. The guide tour cleaned the bite and joked but didn't alert her regarding the possibility of rabies transmission and it's consequences. Please be aware that immediate medical assistance is required if this happens to you and that you definitely should get the 4 dosis vaccine!
Maya Bay and Koh Phi Phi islands throughout are amazing. There was a Lagoon where we could swim. It was excellent with clear blue, shallow waters. Maya Bay was just as expected, beautiful landscape, brilliant white sands. On top of these, a few snorkeling points as well. The tour ended with seeing plankton bioluminescence (but very low visibility). Overall, a great and affordable tour that provides enough for your eyes, for your memories, and for your Instagram.
We went through trip advisor to book which was super easy and emailed us all we needed. The meet up spot was the same for several groups so it was a little confusing. But the tour people actually called us to let us know we were in the right apt and our house was on the way. After a little more wrangling we got on a boat and headed out. Our boat operator was a one man show for 12 tourists. He had no English. He did great. Took us to all the places, told us what to do. Told us when to get back in the boat. Super great and competent. There were alot of other tourists but this guy wedged us in no problem. He gets 5 stars from us. We had a great day!!
This was a great experience and I would definitely recommend if visiting phi phi. Our tour guide was very unconventional, smoking and shouting most of the time, but was still an enjoyable experience. We did start fairly late (waited around for 45 minutes to get on the boat). We also went in bad weather, so wouldn’t go if easily sea sick. Overall although, really enjoyed it!
Absolutely awful. I arrived, and they told me it was cancelled and I did not receive a refund!!! Do not use them. I reccomend just booking from someone else in person
I wasn’t warned about the number of mosquitos on Maya Bay and a 1.5 hour stay at a beach you are not allowed to swim at is a but much for my liking. Aside from that a very beautiful tour!
Koh Phi phi Don is the main island which is inhabited. This trip takes you to tourist spots in Koh Phi Phi Lee, which is about 20 minutes in boat to reach. Phi Phi Lee seems to be a protected island with coral reefs and lagoons, etc, and is ecologically sensitive. The boat took us around to all the major points around the island including Maya bay, Viking beach, lagoon etc. We had gone for a 7 island trip from Keabi a few days back before this trip. I am giving 4 stars to the phi phi trip provider because they did not give as much detailed info about the visiting island to us, and had slightly sloppy facilities (drinking water, fruits, snorkeling equipments, life jackets) compared to the other one.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! We booked a half day tour they put us on a full day tour after telling the guid over and over again that our ferry back to Phuket leaves at 4. We ended up stuck on the island begging someone to take us to Phuket because our international flight was the next morning at 4am! NOBODY cared to help even tho they messed up the entire trip!!! We ended up spending 13000 bht just to get back to Phuket all because of their terrible service and lies!!!! I’ll be taking this matter further
The experience was average. Guide just named the places and hadn't explained anything about them. But please make sure everyone gets a receipt for THB400 national park fee (This no one checked inside the national park), don't know if was it even legal or just a SCAM.
I trip stated 45min late. That is a very long time to sit and wait in the heat. The 400bath park fee is ridiculous, nothing to see and to many people.
Great experience! Lots of beautiful scenery and monkeys. You get to swim and snorkel and fruit and water is provided. Very nice staff and very well priced.
Very good tour. We saw everything that was listed and enjoyed every minute of it. This is a tour you shouldnt miss. Bring food with you if you are picky!
Technically all that was advertised was provided - the stops, snacks, water, and snorkeling mask. I wouldn't repeat it as the "guide" was talking loudly on his phone every minute the boat was moving, and he sat in the bow smoking which blew smoke on all 12 of us passengers. The 2 diving spots were wonderful, with great corals and variety of fish. Maya bay was a parade of people and you can't go in the water from the beach you pay to visit. I'm glad they are healing the bay but it didn't seem worth the entrance fee. Monkey beach did have monkeys.. but no beach with the afternoon high tide. I think you get random guides/drivers with this booking so some a probably better. We would have spent more to have a private boat and more freedom to snorkel.
Nice day out and had plenty of snorkelling stops. Lunch was vegetable fried rice, fruit and water also included
lunch included, great fun, tour guide was friendly and very helpful. went to several different locations
Had a great day exploring all the must see snorkel spots of phi phi island. When booking, know that this is a tour run by locals and not a fancy tour company. You get a basic sandwich and orange juice when you get on, and fried rice in the afternoon. We did 7 stops including Maya Bay, Monkey Beach and swimming with plankton. My advice would be to sit at the front end of the boat as the back is very loud and you can’t talk during the transfers to the next spot. All in all I think the trip exceeded my expectations. It’s a nice way to see all the major attractions of the islands on a budget.
Once you’ve booked and paid for the tour you’re told you have to pay an extra 400THB per person to go to Maya Bay, which is just a tourist trap that they drop you off at for an hour and a half. You can’t swim in the ocean there, just take pictures. You snorkel three times total for between 15-30 minutes per time. Most of the trip is spent getting from one destination to the next, and if you have a seat at the back half of the boat, you can’t see anything for the entire journey. Our guide moved my daughter from the front of the boat, and then allowed two young women to sit and take thousands of selfies instead. Not great for families, probably great for Instagramers.
This is a full day excursion so be prepared for a long one, but the experience was amazing and I would definitely do it again!
This tour was a lot of fun, you get a full day travelling around in longtail boat, swimming and snorkeling. I am not a strong swimmer and have never snorkeled before, but we had life jackets if you wanted and snorkel masks to borrow, so I had no problems and got to enjoy swimming in the ocean and seeing lots of colourful fish and sea urchins Our guide had limited English, however enough to effectively communicate. I thought we had the right amount of time at each stop and the guide made sure no one got left behind by doing regular headcounts. Lunch and snacks were pretty basic, if you have a big appetite I'd consider bringing extra snacks - rice, simple sandwich, sliced pineapple Make sure you have lots of suncream. When snorkeling, the water cools you down so you don't realise how hot the sun is. I got VERY SUNBURNT despite applying suncream in the morning
Do not book through this tour operator Viator. They say best price guaranteed with isn't true. Cheaper if you book on the island with the locals instead. I emailed Viator about it (and the fact that the tour ended early) but they didn't reply and just keep emailing automated messages to leave a review instead. The tour itself was fun but I think they skipped a snorkeling spot and beach because it ended early. The majority of people didn't want to wait 1.5 hours doing nothing until sunset for the plankton. (We wouldn't have had to wait around doing nothing if they didn't skip a spot, so it was quite confusing.) Recommend people go snorkeling in phi phi but book it in person instead of online.
Very friendly staff. English speaking. Nice size group. Refreshments and fruit on board good time spent at each location enough to have a wander / swim and snorkel! Very enjoyable
Don’t go on a rainy day, even If the person organizing the trip says it will be fine. The one-hour ride to the Bamboo Island, when at any moment you feel like the boat is going to capsize and you get wet from head to toe, was the nightmare of our trip.
Good for budget if you like snorkeling and want to see a couple of islands around Koh Phi Phi. Make sure to bring extra food (crisps/snacks) so you don't get hungry when out and about. Be advised that the waves can be quite rough.
Great day out visiting various locations, and actual time doing the snorkeling was a fantastic experience. The tour guide/boat driver had limited English, but to be fair it was all sort of self explanatory
Great trip though the Viator description was not very detailed in terms of itinerary. Local operator was very good. Bring snacks for sunset!
Boat was on time. Wonderful waters for snorkeling. We saw many kinds of fish, coral and other sea creatures. We weren’t rushed from place to place. Plenty of time to explore!
