My partner and I recently did the private Hong Islands tour with Thalassa Tours and absolutely loved it! The entire organisation was excellent, everything went smoothly and relaxed. He just seems like such a genuine person and you could tell that he does care about the environment so much. The Hong Islands themselves are of course fantastically beautiful, but the individual attention and the relaxed atmosphere have significantly enhanced the experience. Having a good guide for your day trip does make a difference: Tuna was a fantastic guide for our day (private speedboat to Hong Islands), snorkeling with us to the precise spots of interest, and adapting everything to make sure we could benefit at best from everything throughout our day... very much worth the extra money than just a boat with a captain

We had an amazing full-day private tour with my wife to Hong Island and the 4 Islands. Our guides, Margarita (who spoke Spanish) and Eki (who spoke English), were excellent — very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire day. Everything was very well organized, and the service felt very personalized. The places we visited were beautiful, and we felt very comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. We truly recommend this tour and the team. It was a wonderful experience!

Best Tour ever. We did the Hong Island Full Day Trip and it was amazing. Everything well Organised and on Time. The Staff was incredible, we had a lot of Fun together. Tuna the Tourguide was a blast. The Meals we get was so delicious and everybody liked it. The crew found a quit place for us to serve the Lunch. The Dive side we were going to for snorkeling was absolutely stunning. Clear water, less people and a lot of different kind of Sealife to see. We spotted 3 different kind of Anemon Fish in this Area. My husband and I had such a wonderful time on this tour! On every step of the way we felt so pampered and cared for by our guide Eggy. He guided us through all of the beautiful islands, provided us with fruit and beverages and was such wonderful company. The views were so spectacular and everything was catered to specifically what we wanted to do. We knew lunch would be provided but didnt realize it would be on our own private beach and we would be dining on such great food. We can't recommend this tour enough to everyone who wants to experience wonderful Thai beaches and people.

Our tour was incredible! From the lagoon, to the sunset, snorkeling and the lunch, everything was once in a lifetime! And our tour guide Farook was the best! He made the trip so memorable. He was knowledgeable and gave the trip a special touch capturing special moments of us along the trip.

Our Guide Unn was absolutely amazing. Unn is incredibly passionate, experienced and knowledgeable and made our experience unforgettable. Unn ensured that we had the most outstanding day. He worked with our longtail boat captain to visit beautiful beaches, lagoons, snorkeling spots and highlight photo locations. Unn took plenty of amazing photos and videos of us throughout the day including while snorkeling. Highly recommended tour and tour guide - we look forward to doing more tours with Unn in the future.

We booked a private tour on a Longtail boat, and it was worth every moment. Our guide, Ekky, accompanied us throughout the day, engaging us with explanations and stories, always with kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. He provided us with options so we could choose our timing and preferences, making us feel immediately welcomed and cared for. Not only did he take care of us, but also of the sea (he stopped to collect plastic from the seabed during our snorkeling) and other tourists if he saw them in trouble. This is what we consider a 5-star service. Thank you to the organization, but especially to Ekky; it was an experience we will always remember.

My husband and I went on the private hong islands tour with snorkel and sunset in March with Ekky as our guide. We had the best day! Everything was great from getting picked up from our hotel, we were straight onto our boat. There was a mat for us to sit comfortably up front and enjoy the views. The hong islands were beautiful and it was worth the walk up the steps to the view point. Ekky was brilliant all day, so friendly and had great knowledge, answering all our questions. We had a freshly prepared got Thai lunch on a remote beach, things dreams are made of 😍 The snorkeling was great too, we had plenty of time and seen some pretty fish 🐟 Finished the day watching the sunset from the boat...just perfect. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time on our private tour. Unn was a FANTASTIC guide. He showed us beautiful islands, we had a private lunch on a beach by ourselves. Unn went above and beyond getting the best pictures for us to remember our trip of a lifetime!

Everything was well organized, clearly communicated and well executed. Timely pick up, our tourguide Unn, who also was our personal photographer including underwater shoots, was very kind and patient with us. Great company, but the reviews tell it all.

Just came back from the most amazing day out on the water. Our guide Unn was fantastic and took care of everything for us. We felt very looked after and had lots of great conversations learning about the islands and the area. All throughout the day our guide did a great job of getting us to the islands outside of peak times so the places were never too crowded. Just a totally beautiful experience from the moment we left till the moment we arrived back.

This was one of two island hopping tours that we went on with this company for our Honeymoon 💕 but would definitely recommend the private tour. Ekky was our guide and he was so easy to talk to and friendly. Everywhere we went was so beautiful and we got so many beautiful pictures. Our lunch on a private beach felt so luxurious and romantic. We did two tours with this company. What an amazing experience! The scenery was beautiful but what made the tours extra special was the staff and tour guides. My husband and I are very inexperienced swimmers. Tour guides Stephan and Aek went above and beyond to keep us safe and enjoy the experience. Tour guide Pla was full of knowledge. It’s lovely to go on tours with people who you can tell truly enjoy there job. Highly recommend.

The owner, forgot his name? He was wonderful. My wife is pregnant, so he gave us recommendations on bigger boat and a private tour for our kids and her to feel safe. We met him prior to departure, and during the trip we were taken care of a lady who was amazing. I am sorry I also forgot her name but she was a member of the family for that day. Highly recommend!

My friends and i had truly enjoyed the tour! Sakee had been an amazing guide to us. she always made sure all of us feel comfortable and safe all the time. We could see how passionate she was in her job. Appreciate the service that was provided to us as this tour is more expensive than those offered locally. Though we couldn’t explore all of the islands due to bad weather (strong waves and wind), Sakee and the captain came up with other plan to make up for it. We had a lot of fun and most importantly, we ended the trip safely!

What an amazing day we had visiting such beautiful islands and beaches of Thailand. Mr Panja was our guide and could not do enough for us. Photos, bags, setting up meals, helping us on the boat. The islands themselves were stunning - hard to pick a favourite but the sunset trip must stand out. We booked a private tour and it could have been customised to anything we suggested but we left it in the hands of Panja and the Captain whose knowledge of the tide and weather conditions made the trip even better. What an awesome day we had ! Went there on a private longtail boat booked at Zazza's on the Ao Nang beachfront close to the Last Fisherman. She delivered exactly what she promised. Transfer to and from the pier, fresh fruits, cold drinks and a scrumptious lunch. The skipper and his crew were very attentive to our needs and they were very professional. The mere fact that we did a PRIVATE trip allowed us to do everything at our own pace. We never felt rushed in any way. You can also make the call as to WHEN you want to go back. The Hong islands is definitely a place you want to explore in your own time... it is absolutely stunning and I would recommend you take yor time to climb up to the viewpoint as it is stunning ! We had a lovely day.

Ekky was the best tour guide! We got to see a lot of different spots in one day, and he made sure we were well looked after the whole time. Lunch was wonderful, sunset was beautiful, and we would highly recommend this tour. Make sure you ask for Ekky!

We were extremely disappointed. We booked a 4 island with night snorkel but that is not what we were given. We got to snorkel once after trying to find a jellyfish free spot but did not receive the night snorkel that we had purchased. On a positive note our guide and driver were delightful and made our trip very nice despite the fact that the tour company did not give us what was prepaid. I will never order a tour in Thailand online again.

Fantastic experience. Sakee, our guide, was bubbly, enthusiastic and so friendly. We were well looked after all day and loved visiting the different islands. She helped us identify good snorkelling spots, which is a challenge due to the jellyfish issue around here currently! But we snorkelled 3 times unscathed by the jellies! Sakee helped us identify the fish we saw, took us to an amazing spot for sunset and generally helped us have a brilliant day.

Bella was wonderful! Her English is fantastic, and her local knowledge is, of course, irreproachable. As we were traveling, she made sure we were oriented by naming the islands and coastlines as we passed, including relevant information about what made each special. She even had waterproof booklets with local wildlife, and cultural and historical facts about the area! Despite us running late due to last minute plans shuffling, she timed each of our stops with the tides to make sure we got the most out of our tour. The islands in the Krabi area are so beautiful, and we got to do lagoon swimming which was so gorgeous with the lots of tiny lagoon fish and baby mangrove shoots, which was lucky since all the snorkel spots we tried were occupied by jellyfish! Even so, Red Island / Koh Daeng was a treat for us due to the stone coloration, as she knew we love rocks! Bella was very watchful of our safety while we were out, and made sure our meals were gluten free as requested! She warned us about the prevalence of jellyfish ahead of time and let us make the choice at each stop whether we wanted to try swimming. With the seas warming, the jellyfish population is skyrocketing worldwide, and Bella told us about how in the open ocean they get swept away, but in the stiller seas behind Phuket they were washing in and then just collecting there. Even when Bella was guiding us past any visible jellyfish, there were loose stingers floating invisibly in the water. So maybe bring a full coverage snorkel suit if you have your heart set on snorkeling- or, per Bella's recommendation, get the phi phi tour, since phi phi is out on the open ocean where there are fewer jellyfish! I did neither, but Bella brought us back to the boat as soon as I said something about getting stung, and had vinegar on hand which cleared up my stings more quickly than I expected! Bella managed to find a spot for the night snorkel that was actually free of jellyfish! The bioluminescence looked different than I expected, and it was such a magical experience under the barest sliver of a waxing crescent. She also took SO many fantastic photos of me and my partner! She knew all the best photo spots, and was always on the lookout for opportunities when nobody else would be in the picture. Thanks to her, we both got to take a break from photo duty, and we still got amazing snaps to remember our trip by! The private tour is more expensive, but I got it to ensure our allergies could be accommodated, and it turns out the flexibility and focused care was more than worth it. Don't go into a private tour expecting too much privacy from your guide- they are, after all, responsible for your safety! That said, Bella did a great job keeping an eye out for us while giving us space at our most romantic stops. 🥰

This was a really nice full day trip! It allowed us to see so many things……along with snorkelling. The snorkelling was okay, not a ton of fish to see, but the night snorkelling was amazing. The bioluminescence was very cool. However, we did have to wait until it was completely dark so it made the day a bit longer. Our guide was great about taking pictures of the two of us and giving us some useful information during our various stops. It was nice to see her so passionate about the ocean and its preservation. We enjoyed stopping at so many places. We would recommend this tour.

We had so much fun on this full-day tour. Our guide was so nice, funny, and knowledgeable about the area. She knew the best times to hit which spot due to tides etc. Lunch was provided on the beach which was a real treat. I would recommend this tour to anyone

This tour exceeded our expectations. It was a delight to have a private boat to take in the stunning scenery. Our tour guide tuna was funny and thoughtful. Providing up with a great day and also plenty of relaxing alone time on the many beaches we visited. The snorkeling was a highlight. Tuna went out of his way to find a good and safe spot and showed us so much.

30F, went with my bf in mid-December. The experience was great with Stephane, Tuna, and Unda. They were able to explain everything in English, French, and Spanish. Spent the day going to different islands and they explained the basic history and meaning of each island. We did snorkeling twice and despite me not able to swim Tuna pulled me through the sea to experience corals. I really appreciated that. Then he was also by my side when doing the night snorkeling. Would definitely recommend this even if you don’t know how to swim.

We had such a fab day exploring islands and longtail boating across the Andaman…didn’t want it to end - and the night snorkel was a perfect finish to an amazing experience. The tour was absolutely breathtaking. The tour guide sakee was an absolute delight. She was very knowledgeable in the local islands, the history and was absolutely hilarious and helpful. She showed us unforgettable sights with scenery and the snorkeling. Would 1000% recommend 11/10 would do again.

Easy pickup from our hotel, right on time. Arrival at the dock to meet our tour guide for the day was great as we had the opportunity to talk about what we wanted to do. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic, very personable and great fun too - you really made the day for us! Thank you. The trip was on a longtail boat which was a fantastic experience, our captain was brilliant and got us around very quickly. First we headed to Hong Island where the knowledge of our guide was invaluable, suggesting the alternative island opposite Hong, where we had an entire secluded beach all to ourselves whilst looking out to the crowded beach on Hong Island. As the crowds dropped, we then headed over to Hong and our guide came with us the 360 viewing platform which was a fantastic experience with stunning views. Nothing was too much trouble for our tour guide, she’d organised a great lunch for us which we took alone on Hong beach (fantastic experience for our family trip) and was always on hand to take many pictures for us. Finally we headed to four islands which was great, especially at sun down! The plankton snorkelling at the end of the night was a great touch.

We did this tour and had an amazing time! Our guide Saki (sp?) was amazing and each island was beautiful. We visited a variety of islands with our knowledgeable guide, got to relax on the beach, the boat, and in the water, went snorkeling and saw clown fish and squid along with many colorful fish. We got a beachside lunch, and the food was really really good. The sunset was beautiful and Saki made sure we got many fantastic pictures. The longboat was so cool, that at one of our stops, people from a nearby hotel got aboard to try to get pictures on it! Finally, the night snorkeling provided us with a chance to see bioluminescent plankton. A great day all around that we highly recommend!

A day we will NEVER forget. More beauty than I knew existed starting at number 9 ranked most beautiful beach in the world and ending w bioluminescent night swim with amazing Thai lunch and dinner snack at sunset. Climbed to a 360 view at a National park and snorkeled as well. Just wow. Longboat travel is rustic and perfect for a Thailand day ! Thank you Sakee and captain.

Our tour guide Sakeena was absolutely amazing. So engaged, excited and had great facts to share while on our tour. She was also so good about giving us some space so we had time alone. Plus she was our bonus photographer and sent us all the photos at the end! We did the 4 Islands with bioluminescne with another company the day prior, and this tour was well worth having a private boat and experience!! The trip was customized by weather changes, as well as what we wanted to see and experience. She helped curate timing so that we basically had every single beach to ourselves or with little crowds. The lunch buffet was one of the best meals we had while in Krabi! It was an absolutely unforgettable trip. And thank you to Thalassa for helping us book last minute and for being so accommodating.

Our private day trip to hong island, 4 island tours with night snorkel by long tail boat with Thalassa Tours was simply extraordinary! Beautiful beaches, amazing submarine life, great views, breathtaking landscapes and views! Our exceptional tour guide took us everywhere we wanted to go and since it was a private tour we could decide where we would like to stay longer or shorter - but always with the experienced suggestion from our amazing local tour guide! He showed us fish we didn’t even see when snorkeling, watched our stuff when we went swimming, prepared lunch at our own beach which we only had to share with birds and other local animals. I could go on but in the end, it was a very special day for us and we enjoyed every minute of it! We are definitely recommending choosing Thalassa Tours when planning a private long tail boat trip in Krabi!

Our review is a bit late, but no less sincere. We did a private tour to the Hong Islands & 4 Islands with Thalassa Tour on november 16th. The weather was not that great, but our tourguide made sure we didn't feel a drop of rain during our tour thanks to his (and the captain's) great knowledge of the sea and the weather. The name of our tourguide was Tuna and he is truly the best of the best. We wanted to know as much as possible about the surroundings and Thailand in general and he could tell us everything we wanted to know. Even about every little fish we saw! Tuna made sure he took a lot of pictures of us, which felt a bit over the top at times, since we are more into enjoying the surroundings, but he assured us we would be happy with it later. And he was right. We're back in rainy Holland since december and look at these pictures very often. We had one of the best days of our lives on this boat and wanted to thank Thalassa Tours, our captain and especially Tuna for that! In short: would definitely recommend :)

We did the private Hong/4 Islands/Sunset/Night Snorkel tour with Bella as our guide. It was fantastic and well worth the price. It's a long day but you get to do a lot of stuff and can change it as you see fit as it's a private tour. That meant more time in the water and multiple snorkels and exploring compared to other similar tours we have done. The whole process was also very easy. Thalassa were very communicative, easy going and handled my food allergies well. Big shout out to Bella and the longtail pilot as well for the great information whilst on the tour and making sure that we were happy and safe. Bella also took many photos for us, choosing some really great spots for the photos and shared them afterwards. It was an educational experience and would highly recommend.

We had a great time. The team was lovely - both our guide and the boat captain were very friendly and nice people. Our guide Sakee was very knowledgeable of the area and shared some information with us. The lunch exceeded our expectations- variety of food was outstanding. We also received a special gift for our anniversary from the company, it was a pleasant surprise.
