The longtail boat gave us access to several beautiful spots around Phi Phi. I enjoyed swimming and taking photos between stops. Some places were busy, though it was still a pleasant trip overall.
Was not what I expected bad organized the captain charge people the double of amount to enter the island instead you pay by yourself in the island
Lovely relaxing trip and to see the most beautiful beach I have ever seen at Maya bay. Great guides and wonderful snorkelling , lovely trip
Good value…nice half day trip. Great snorkelling. Just about the right amount of time if you only have a few days in Phi Phi
Tour operator was great. They were all very nice and helpful, helping people in and out of the boat and providing instructions but Maya Bay is way too crowded and feels a bit like Disneyland with a long lines. You basically get on the island take a few pictures and then queue up again to return back to the boat. You can’t get in the water or anything else. The snorkeling was cool but all the other activities in the itinerary are pretty much a Skip. So far in our two weeks in Thailand, this was the biggest letdown activity not because of the tour operator, but because of the long lines and how full of garbage these little islands are. This activity is not a must do but only if you have extra time while on phi phi and you’re bored.
Classic Maya bay trip. On quite windy day boat crew managed to safely complete the trip in planned route.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good and had been forecasted the day before. I was expecting a cancellation email, but as there was nothing I walked an hour in the rain to be on time, 30 minutes later the guide turned up and cancelled the trip. I was disappointed with the lack of communication and the lack of consideration of the inconvenience of the last minute cancellation.
It was a great trip and the views were stunning. I loved Maya Bay and the snorkelling and swimming stops. Would definitely recommend this and its good value.
A great day and plenty of time at each location. Stunning views, good snorkelling spots. The crew was excellent, couldn’t recommend enough.
Longtail boat dangerous, no life jacket compulsory, snorkeling allowed without gaurd, life in danger there
The tour guide was very rude and unfriendly. He didn't allow us enough time in monkey beach. The boat engine was shut down in the middle of the sea. I have booked the tour in a reputed website with a premium price so as not to get rude behavior and not a functioning boat. Prices were cheaper in the phi phi pier.
Perfect amount of time to see the highlights of the area, we done the morning trip so not too busy. Although the guides spoke little English we got the gist of what they were saying, they were really helpful in us getting the most out of the trip. Unlimited bottled water, and fresh fruit on our way back to the pier. Highly recommended for the price. Trip started at 9am and we were back at the pier just after 1pm.
The crew was great, we really enjoyed the day. Plenty of time at each stop to take photos or swim. Very fun for the family, friends or couples.
It was just right. The amount of time we had at each stop, the amount of people on the boat and what we expected. And the guides were super nice!
Covered several very scenic locations, and in a stylish way with the longtail boat. Reasonably prices for what is offered - highly recommended!
This was a wilder ride than anticipated. The water was choppy. Front seats get soaked. The arrival to Maya Beach park dock was like a wave ride at an amusement park. I could have skipped the stop as we were pushed through lines like cattle to the beachfront only to be told we could enter to our ankles. That said the park ranger in the megaphone was hilarious. Think Parks & Recreation Thai style. The snorkeling at the nearby cove was very good. I was also underwhelmed with Monkey Island as we’d had many monkey encounters already at other locations. I wish the “guides” would have provided more interpretation. We heard very little about the history, geography, flora and fauna, etc. etc..
Incredible tour and the perfect itinerary to visit the highlights around PhiPhi Islands. The staff was very helpful and took us to great spots to snorkel and enjoy the views.
Was ass advertised, but do not give your money to the people, they will say you owe them 400 baht to enter the national park but they pocket the money. Say you want to pay when you get there and then it will be free. The workers did not check anybody to see if they had paid and boat people never left boat so they kept the money.
The snorkelling was definitely a highlight of the tour. We saw many beautiful fish and animals. Monkey Beach gets very crowded and Maya Bay is currently closed so you can only see it from boat and take a picture. The staff were friendly and took pictures for everyone.
They should have taken us in a place where begginers also can do snorkelling. A beach like place. However the tour was good
Really enjoyed our guide and captain. Getting onto the boats was a bit confusing and standing on the sun waiting wasn’t ideal BUT still extremely worth it. The captain even helped me see a coral reef shark when snorkeling!! Overall super fun day and glad I booked it!
Photos and description on Viator are accurate with exception of water being available on trip. There was none. Long tail boats not recommended for those with limited mobility (the ladder is not safe or stable.) All destinations listed are extremely crowded.
I was afraid to make this visit due to the few reviews. Tours are extravagantly expensive and this was the best price I found online. And it was worth it!! First of all, it's important to know that there are almost 20 people on a traditional boat, which can be a little uncomfortable, for me it was super interesting because I really wanted to do the excursion on a boat like this and I think it's more pleasant with people by our side. Secondly, the people who take us are not exactly fluent in English and only tell you the names of the places, if you want a guided tour with a thousand explanations this is not the case, which for me was not a problem at all, I was not expecting it on a guided tour I just wanted to see the sites. However, they are incredibly friendly and kind. This is enough even if they are not fluent in English, they know exactly what to do in each situation and will help you if necessary! A girl on my trip started vomiting and he helped her as best he could, he even gave her some pills, I suppose he had for her nausea. I absolutely recommend!!
Got efficiently to all the announced spots, which is good value for the price. Do not expect chit-chat or tour guiding.
Snorkling is amazing all around Phi phi and the stop here is no exception but for the rest its basically a trip to Maya beach and the rest are just quick stopovers, especially as we stopped at the monkey beach during high tide and there were no monkeys around. For the price it's ok but if I'd do it again I'd take a private tour or one with a speed boat I think.
We’re on the long tail boat with eight others. Good stops for the short trip . Could have done without the crowded Maya beach stop. Just nice to get out and see the area. Snorkeling local one we good.
Great tour at this price range. Bit of sightseeing on a couple of islands, and also some time for snorkeling ( masks provided by the operator ). All in all would recommend.
The places you look at are beautiful and you can also see some fish. Strong wind waves may be dizzy.... recommended
The tour was canceled due to heavy rain on the day of the tour. Please refund the tour fee to my credit card through the Agoda I booked through.
The tour was extended to show us the nocturnal placton without asking anyone, only to look for a tip. Nothing was seen and we wasted time, over an hour.
It was a very nice trip. We did not only four, but even seven different things and I would recommend everyone for the price.
Certainly you will have the legendary smile of the Thais who accompany you throughout this tour, but we disillusioned a lot on this half day. You are embarked in a whirlwind of 3 hours amid hundreds of boatails. Quick to Maya bay to the hardwood and try to see white sand, fast on a highway lagoon for timed dip amid hundreds of tourists eager for photo end gondola! Quick a snorkling dive with no indication quickly dive quick look. Quickly an alter scam to see 3 monkeys on monkey island, poor animals, fattened despite the prohibitions by tourists for a pathetic photo. In short cheap, but pass your way, but maybe being in Koh Phi Phi, this type of excursion is unfortunately part of the trap of this island.
We had booked the full day tour first. Then we noticed that she leaves until 7 pm and then we would not have come back to our hotel at all, as we can only get there by boat. We should have taken a water taxi which would have cost 2000 Baht after 6 pm. Fortunately we were able to rebook spontaneously, which was very nice! The boat that started then is a longtail boat. The engine is extremely noisy, so you can hardly talk. Besides, it rocks quite a bit, so I got very sick. At the first snorkel stop the sea made waves through the many boats so bad that I got sick of meh4. At the second stop it was less waves and I went into the water again. Too bad there were no swimming fins, so you had to be very careful that you drift up and don't scratch your feet on the coral reefs. The corals and also the fish were great! Maya Bay and Monkey Beach we also liked very much, were thrilled :) overall a solid tour for little money. Half a day was enough for me now and I was happy when I was back on the mainland. However, the crew was very nice and there was enough water for everyone and also pineapple as a snack :)
Very nice, afternoon drive away, we got fruit, snorkeled a lot and even plankton seen at night great experience and price well recommended mega.
Plenty of time to see the main tourist attractions. Maya Beach is currently closed and cannot be visited. You snorkel (they leave glasses and tube) give you water and fresh pineapple.
Magnificent islands a little trio of tourists has my taste 😑 a very nice guide a superb walk to do especially do not miss
It was a half-day tour, so we took the morning flight to Phi Phi and could have had time to meet up with them, as it started at 14:00 pm. The meeting point was in front of the McDonald's, but I was a little confused as it was also a meeting point for other companies, but I was able to speak to those staff. The tour included plenty of time at each point, allowing us to enjoy the great outdoors slowly. I want to go to that beautiful beach again. I think we were relaxing on the beach for about an hour and a half. Tours are essential as it is a place that can only be reached by tour. Snorkel Point was a really beautiful place with lots of tropical fish. Snorkeled goggles are available for rent, but if you are uncomfortable with putting in a snorkel used by someone else, you may want to buy your own and bring it with you. You can buy it in Phi Phi. If you can't swim, you can float and look underwater while wearing your life jacket. For those who can dive unaided, dive deeper and enjoy seeing tropical fish and coral up close. As we stepped onto the boat from the snorkel, Thai pineapples were served in crunchy rounds on a tray, and the sweet taste we took and ate with our bare hands was also a good memory. And a bottle of water. It is stated in the tour description that there is an additional fee for admission to the nature reserve, but I was a little confused as to why the fee would be collected once it reaches the sea and begins to be collected in the middle, but please do not worry, it is not a suspicious scam. Or rather, I wish I could collect it when we are gathering on the hill, but there must be some reason. Anyway, no matter how hard you try, you will get wet, so please dress well. It is wise to leave your belongings at the hotel if you have trouble getting wet.
Guides were both friendly and the trip was enjoyable and the course was also liked. I experienced the happiest moments of my 20 day trip to Southeast Asia.
Chuyến đi rất tốt, các điểm tham quan như lịch trình thông trước. Tàu đuôi dài chạy êm. Hướng dẫn viên địa phương vui vẻ nhiệt tình.
It was a lovely afternoon where we sailed around and visited exciting islands, coves and beaches. I was with 12 other passengers, we quickly got into good conversation on the trip. It was all very rewarding
