Phi Phi Early Bird & 4 Islands - Day Tour By Speedboat From Krabi

If I could give our tour guide, Natty, 100 stars, I absolutely would. Unfortunately, the tour itself was not at all what I expected. This is definitely an experience designed for vacationers looking to check off popular tourist attractions, rather than travelers hoping to actually experience the beauty and culture of a destination. The entire experience felt incredibly oversaturated with tourists. There were simply too many people everywhere, and nothing felt particularly special or authentic. The tour was also far too long for what it actually offered. What bothered me most was the condition of the places we visited. There was garbage everywhere, and many of these beautiful natural spaces seemed poorly cared for. Rather than enjoying the scenery, I found myself feeling guilty about contributing to the overtourism that is clearly taking a toll on these islands. The beach stop in particular felt more like Disney World than an island paradise. It was crowded, commercialized, and honestly a little ridiculous. Overall, the best way I can describe the experience is that it felt like spending an entire day at Walmart, just surrounded by crowds, chaos, and commercialization in what should have been a beautiful natural setting. I genuinely wish we had spent our time exploring somewhere else. Our guide was wonderful, and I want to make sure that is recognized, but I would not recommend this tour to anyone looking for a more meaningful, authentic, or peaceful travel experience.

What a great tour! The weather wasn’t the best for us, but we still had an amazing time. All the islands we visited were beautiful, and we had just the right amount of time at each stop. Our guide was friendly and informative, and there was plenty of food provided throughout the day, along with lots of swimming and snorkelling. Would definitely recommend! 😊

Wow,wow,wow!!!! We had the most wonderful from breakfast at the beach, spotting the sharks at Maya Bay with only a very small crowd to see the most colourful fish followed by lunch and a brief encounter with a “dragon” on the beach. We escaped most of the rain and even with the rain nothing could have ruined our day. A huge thank you to Natty for being entertaining and caring and the rest of the amazing crew who kept us safe and managed timings so well that we never felt it was overcrowded. I would book it again in a heartbeat….next year:) Thank you!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing experience exploring the Phi Phi Islands and Krabi's spectacular coastline! We took the Early Bird Speedboat Tour, travelling as a family of four with our two mums. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Thailand together. 🚤 The speedboat journey was exciting, taking us past towering limestone cliffs, fascinating rock formations and beautiful islands surrounded by the Andaman Sea. 🏝️ The scenery was absolutely stunning! Some of the limestone formations looked like giant sculptures rising from the ocean. The turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs and magnificent island landscapes were unforgettable. 📸 Being passionate about photography, I particularly loved capturing the changing light and dramatic skies. The combination of golden sunlight, clouds and limestone formations made for some spectacular photographs! 🌅 One of the most memorable sights was the sunlight breaking through the clouds behind the islands, creating an incredible golden glow across the landscape. ❤️ Sharing these beautiful experiences with both our mums made the day even more meaningful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic island adventure and a wonderful way to explore Krabi's breathtaking scenery! Honestly one of the best tour I had so far. Our tour guide, Sunny, was so energetic and kind, always smiling and taking very good care of us together with the boat crew. We got picked up around 6:15 from our hotel in Ao Nang and from there we got to the pier to check-in, meet the guide and board the speedboat. We started from the Four Islands area, where we had a stunning breakfast with view, at the beach was only for us. As we moved from one stop to another towards the Phi Phi archipelago, we noticed that our itinerary was organized so that we could anticipate the big crowds. The time for snorkeling, swimming and relax on the bech was also well distributed. During the trip they provided water, soft drinks, some snacks and fresh fruits. Also the lunch was nice, with few simple choices, but definitely perfect for a whole day of boat and swimming. Amazing experience, worth the money 100%

The BEST experience. On time pick up. Our guide Natty was amazing!!! Such good energy, and so glad we left early - some islands barely had any people at all. It felt like a fully private tour. Our group was also not too crowded! Loved it and can’t recommend it enough!! I was so confused about which tour to book and honestly this ticked all the boxes for me. Guide also clicked some pics for me which turned out amazing!! He was fab and the whole team was attentive and great!

This tour is a great day trip. The snorkeling was excellent. We saw many types of fish including sea snakes and large nurse sharks. Wawa was a great guide for the day and helped make the experience well organized and memorable.

I travel A LOT and have done countless excursions, and this was by far the best one I’ve ever experienced. Everything was incredibly well organized, perfectly timed, and led by an amazing guide, Natty. Natty was full of knowledge, personality, humor, and the absolute BEST energy. He and his crew went above and beyond to make sure we were well fed, hydrated, safe, and comfortable throughout the entire 9-hour tour. They truly thought of everything. One of my favorite parts was how perfectly Natty timed each stop so we could enjoy the locations before the huge crowds arrived. It made such a difference and allowed us to experience everything without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Nine hours may sound like a long day, but honestly, I would have happily spent nine more hours with Natty and his crew! The entire experience was breathtaking, unforgettable, and something I’ll be incredibly grateful for. I would absolutely book this exact excursion again the next time I’m in Thailand. this is a great tour, well balanced and an early arrival at Maya bay avoids crowds, several opportunities to swim and snorkel through the day.

An awesome day with an amazing itinerary and crew and a great boat. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Leaving early meant we didn’t have crowds. We highly recommend this trip. One of the best things we’ve done!

If you are going during the off season especially, make sure you do research on when the waves will be worst - we did the early bird one assuming that the waves and storm would be worst in the afternoon, but it ended up being the opposite. The waves in the open ocean were so strong that I was genuinely worried we were going to capsize in the beginning. We ended up being okay, but multiple people on the boat had anxiety attacks and threw up. That said, once the waves calmed down I had a blast, and I would definitely recommend everything else. Our guide Natty was so fun, and even though Maya Bay was closed when we first got there, he kept calling and checking throughout the day until they opened it for us so we didn't miss it entirely. The swimming was lots of fun and Pileh Bay was gorgeous, but warning - there are schools of damselfish everywhere where you snorkel and they bite! It feels like tiny fly bites, but it does get annoying. Overall I would recommend this trip, just do your research to see when the worst of the waves will be first!

Love this place, I had been here before 10 years ago so this time I bought along the parents and my partner. They absolutely love it. This is the perfect day trip. The staff were awesome too.

This experience was super fun. The views are beautiful, and you get to swim, snorkel, and breakfast/lunch and snacks are provided. It was very well organized and they also picked us up straight from our hotel which was super convenient.

Excellent your. Our guide Din, driver San and two boat crew were great at showing us the sites of phi phi. We enjoyed breakfast on Tup island and had the whole place to ourselves. Snacks after every big stop, and a simple lunch buffet kept us going. Choppy ride across the bay from Aonang was fun in the speed boat. Definitely worth the cost and one of the best tours our family has taken. Run by Krabi Ezy Trails with a dedicated speed boat & equipment like life jackets & snorkles were in good shape.

This was a great experience! Loved the early start so we had a lot of the islands with less people. This is a group tour, so seating was a little tight, but otherwise the boat was comfortable. Dean was a great guide. We received breakfast, snacks, waters and sodas, buffet style lunch, snorkeling gear, etc. So everything really is taken care of for you, which was wonderful. Obviously you can also book private tours but those are more expensive, so if you're looking for an affordable option that's not quite as busy, this is a great alternative. And we saw so many beautiful islands!! Loved it

Our guide was truly AMAZING. As most thai people he was very friendly, didn't hesitate to answer any questions that came to us along the way, keeped us filled up with snacks and soft drinks and is an excellent photographer. The tour itself is a massive worth it. You get to see paradise in earth without all the tourists, besides you, taking pictures. If you're in Krabi and you don't book your tour with this poeple you are going to regret it badly. Do yourself a favor and enjoy one of the best days of your life with this amazing people

Absolutely incredible Phi Phi Islands early morning tour! Getting out before the crowds made such a huge difference — the beaches and water were stunning and so much more peaceful. The whole day was perfectly organised from start to finish. A massive shoutout to the boat crew who were friendly, professional, and always making sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. They worked so hard all day and created such a great atmosphere onboard. Special mention to Natty, who was an absolute star! Her personality, energy, and sense of humour made the trip even better. She kept everyone entertained, informed, and smiling the entire day. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Krabi/Ao Nang — definitely one of the highlights of our Thailand trip!

Maya Bay is a must see sight. We are filled with foods. Did swimming and snorkeling. Plus the tour guide, Natty, is assistive and funny Must book this tour

Great experience overall! Our guide, Wawa, did an amazing job. The pickup was on time & took us directly to the speedboat. They took us to all the major islands & we were able to spend a good amount of time at each one. The lunch & snacks were really good as well!

Wawa and her crew were awesome! The driver was very good. Enjoyed getting to the beaches before the main crowds got there followed by some great snorkeling!

This was incredible. The lunch was amazing, the people were incredibly fun and helpful, and the experience was breathtaking. If you’re going to take any tour of this I would absolutely recommend this one. It’s very organized and easy to navigate- perfect for a stress free trip!

The tour is a little more expensive of what is offer on the rest of the places, but the services and Peace of mind is really good, Unn was always attentive of us, took great pictures and was an amazing person. You get picked up early and go everywhere, I felt we had enough time almost everywhere, we had sodas and cold water all the way, fruits and lunch was a bunch of rice with chicken, also veg option,so I liked it. Also other places in the city only accept cash, this is card and fully digital, so it saves you time. The boat was a 20 person boat, you will not have a great view on every Seat as its cover, but it will get you to the places you have to be.

The early wake up call is ABSOLUTELY worth it! Had the most amazing experience with Unn and his crew. I managed to loose my ring in between the corals while snorkelling and the entire team never doubted when jumping in the water to search for it - which they did! Kept us informed before and after every stop about what we were seeing next, fed us snacks non-stop and taught us about how important it is to look after such amazing places in nature. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone!

This trip was booked couple of days before. It was amazing from start to finish Wawa……what a lovely lady she went above and beyond to ensure all enjoyed. There was plenty of refreshments on board, lunch on the beach was great. All in all we had a great day out and highly recommend

We have just returned from a day trip and I can honestly say it was amazing from start to finish. All of the team were extremely friendly and were so helpful, especially with our two boys aged 6 and 3. The transfers were on time, and there was little waiting around to get onto the boat, it was all very efficient. The food and drinks provided were the best I have ever had on a day trip. All four of us really enjoyed the day and would 100% recommend this company.

This was the most wonderful day hosted by Dean. He was the most amazing tour guide I have ever had in all of my travels. Extremely hospitable, and explained everything so well. He was so kind, made sure all of the tourists were well fed, and gave such good insights on every place we visited. My husband and I would do this tour again and again with Dean. All of the places we visited were so beautiful.

Beautiful beaches! They keep you fed and hydrated. The crew was very helpful getting you on and off the speed boat.

The tour was really great and well organized. Unfortunately the boat had hazardous entrance points. My wife fractured a bone in her foot due to the hazardous drop while loading. What added in insult to this injury was the poor policy that Viatour has regarding cancelations. Although we ended up forced to leave 2 days early. We were forced to purchase new flights, forfeit two nights at our hotel. Forfeit the two days of relaxation, forfeit the Phi Phi excursion. What really bothered me was the fact that the future tour I was forced to cancel due to the injury, Viator could not cancel it with a refund. I use Viatour about 50 to 75 times per year and feel customers should be credited better regard that this. Viatour should not have to ask a vendor for a refund request of this nature. It should automatically be issued by Viatour. We'll, thats my opinion.

The places you visit are absolutely breathtaking. Our guide, Wawa, was the cutest/friendliest person ever. The lunch was delicious and snacks & food were abundant. My only complaint would be that we were packed pretty tightly, and that the last stop (Poda Island) may have been a bit unnecessary as most of us were ready to head back after lunch

Booked last minute directly with operator (Kraby Ezy Trails) and paid cash at arrival at the pier. Having been to all these islands before but never with our teenagers we wanted to give them a great experience and it did not disappoint. We picked this operator because of the reviews and also because it was early. We knew that Maya Bay and Pileh Bay can get very crowded and so wanted to make sure we weren't there with the hordes! Never seen Maya Bay so wonderful in the 17 years I've been going there. Our guide, "Dean" and the Blue bracelet team (the operator runs another boat with purple) were great. He was upbeat, friendly and looked out for our safety first. They served a nice simple breakfast on Tup where at low tide you can walk across the sandbar to the neighbouring island. Maya Bay was great as boats are not allowed onto the beach anymore. The bay was full of baby and juvenile sharks within meters of the sand. The snorkeling in Pileh was very nice. Snorkeling was also good at Bamboo but the park rangers make you wear a lifevest in the water which takes away from the experience if you're an experienced snorkeler, but it keeps people from stepping or damaging the rather shallow coral. Lunch was served at Bamboo and it was delicious Thai dishes and plentiful. Bamboo also has a basic restaurant where you can get some burgers, hot dogs, fries if you are travelling with picky eaters. If you are looking for solitude this area of Thailand is not for you and you have to go further afield.

Well organised tour with good communication beforehand and during the trip. Enjoyable and relaxing day with our very entertaining guide. Natty you made me smile and laugh so many times!!!
