Krabi To James Bond And Hong Islands Offbeat Speedboat Tour

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **An Absolutely Fantastic Day Out!** We had a wonderful trip to James Bond Island and the surrounding islands by speedboat. The scenery was simply spectacular, with stunning limestone cliffs, beautiful turquoise waters and some truly unforgettable locations. What really made the trip special, though, was the crew. They were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, making sure everyone had a fantastic experience throughout the day. Their enthusiasm, local knowledge and attention to detail really stood out. The small group size was also a huge bonus. It made the whole experience feel much more personal and relaxed, without the crowds and hustle of some of the larger organised tours. Everything was extremely well organised, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area. A brilliant experience from start to finish and thoroughly deserving of five stars!

A trip you'll want to do again! We were practically all by ourselves at every spot - not more people around us! The guides, Naim and Faruq, looked after our group of 6 the whole time. We couldn't visit two spots because of the sea conditions, so they looked for alternatives. I recommend walking through the jungle part and, above all, hiking up to the viewpoint; it's 400 steps, but totally worth it."

Highly recommend through thalassa tours. We did a private tour to the Hong Islands with Unn. He was very knowledgeable and fun. Customized the tour so we had the best spots at the right time. Got Hong Bay all to ourselves. Amazing!

A great experience. Well worth the price in my opinion. Friendly tour guides. Drink and refreshments provided and a very tasty hot lunch on one of the islands. We avoided the crowds which was perfect. The boat is fast and has shelter, less time spent travelling. Great snorkelling spot and the whole crew were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

The team were incredible, kind, attentive, funny and professional. Lots of cold drinks and a delicious lunch. Shout out to Ceros who was extra helpful :)

100 out of 10. I appreciate the tour guides mapping out the tour to avoid crowds. They were also very friendly and helpful. We got to swim in a quiet lagoon, with only one other boat there. We stopped at the "big tree" for lunch, where we were the only ones there. Lunch was simple, but got the job done. Ample opportunities for pictures and the guides were more than happy to help pose and take the photos. Overall, a great day!

This tour is well organised and goes to places that not many other people are at. At a couple of stops our group was the only one there! So cool and different to the busyness of places like Maya Bay.

10/10 guide in Krabi, I strongly recommend. We visited many different parts of the archipelago, and every single place we went was mostly empty. I saw some of the most incredibly pretty nature that day, with a high energy and super chill guide and group. It was the highlight of my Thailand trip, I strongly, strongly recommend it.

Wonderful day with Tuna and Mark and the team looking after our every need. There were 5 crew looking after 10 of us and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of space on the boat, beach mats and snorkelling kit all provided. Great knowledge of nature and Phang Nga Bay. Mark’s enthusiasm for seal life and snorkelling was infectious. We felt like we’d seen the best of everything and had just enough time at each stop. Would absolutely recommend.

We had such a great time on this tour! The boat was well kept and the staff were very kind and helpful. We stopped at a bunch of different destinations and didn't feel rushed at all. It was the perfect mix between relaxation time and activity time.

We had a great time with Thalassa Tour! The whole trip was really well organized and the team was super friendly and relaxed, which made the experience even better. The boat was comfortable and we visited some beautiful spots with plenty of time to swim and enjoy the views. We especially loved that we seemed to go to lesser known but stunning places where at times we were the only group on the beaches. Overall it was a really fun and easygoing day on the water. Fantastic day out on the sea and the beaches! Tuna, Dani and Stefano as guides were a perfect team, organized and professional, fun to talk and yet sharing interesting information! They managed to avoid all the crowds too. Unfortunately there was no hotel pickup (only drop off) but everything else was excellent and well worth the price! :)

Exceptional tour. The boat was great, and the staff was outstanding, with great commands of English and Spanish. There were a total of 11 people on the tour, but it never felt crowded in the least. We had plenty of time and space to explore every place we went. The islands they went to were beautiful, and the staff made sure we avoided the crowds from other tours by adjusting the schedule as we went. We did not get off the boat at James Bond Island, but after seeing the masses of people on-shore, I'm glad we didn't. The crew made it an exceptionally memorable experience, and were all too happy to take photos with our cameras. They couldn't have been more accommodating. I normally avoid tours like this at all costs, but decided to take a chance with this one, and am most happy I did. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit this incredibly majestic area. It will be a lifetime of memories in an 8-hour day. Well worth the money spent.

What an amazing day! Ceros, Eki, Stephan and the rest of the crew were amazing (energized, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable), and the islands we went to were beautiful! They took us to more remote locations - no crowds, no waiting, all fun! 400+ steps to Hong Island lookout was tiring but well worth it, remote lagoons were beautiful, and they made James Bond island fun to see (from boat). Smaller group too so much less time spent in people getting into and out of boat. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic. Best holiday trip we have ever been on. We went on the trip on 25th February 2026. Crew are very professional and keep you safe. They are on hand to help people on and off the boat. Guides are professional and kept us entertained, informed and well hydrated. There were plenty of drinks and fresh fruit. Lunch was very good and served on one of the beach stops. The times spent at each location/activity are about right; the snorkelling was fun. The pick ups and drop offs worked well. It is a good idea to have a pair of sand/beach shoes with you. Highly recommended.

This was a well organized tour that insured we spent quality time at places when they were least busy. Our guides were very professional and informative. Our English guide “Tuna” was great. Lunch was tasty and there are plenty of drinks available all day. A great way to see many beautiful spots.

Excellent full day trip. Felt more up-market than the 7 islands tour I also went on. Smaller group and lovely spots to visit.

Highly recommended tour. The staff are super attentive and friendly. The trip is planned to avoid the big crowds. We visited some incredible bays that we had to ourselves. Just be aware that you won’t actually land on James Bond Island - but get to take a photo from the boat viewing the rear of the famous mushroom rock. This is more than compensated for by the remoter less known places you are taken to. Great food and constant free drinks available. Passengers are limited to 16 people. Bliss

A brilliant day ... Saw so many beautiful scenes. Lunch wasn't brilliant....cold food. I know it's impossible to keep the food hot so maybe serve food that is supposed to be served cold? It's not a cheap trip so spending a bit more on food shouldn't be a problem. Special mention to guides Unn and Mark. More than happy to take photos etc . Thought the 300 baht charge for hotel pick up a bit steep.

This day tour was very well organized. All of the staff on the boat did a wonderful job making us feel well cared for. They even had props for the James Bond Island photo. The lunch served on the beach was very delicious.

From start to finish this was an incredible trip and well organized. Thalassa Tours communicated trip details and responded quickly to any questions we had. 10/10 rating for Naim, Helena and the rest of the amazing boat crew/guides went above and beyond. They were informative, fun, caring & kept us safe. A small group tour is the way to go in Ao Nang or anywhere in Thailand (many tours that we saw were overcrowded). The timing from island to island was perfectly thought out so that, we were not amongst the crowds. The personalized picnic on the beach was fantastic!! The food and fruit were soooo good. Best food that we had on a tour in Krabi. If you’re considering booking this tour; book it. You will not regret it. They really are the best of the best. Tips: Bring sunscreen, bug spray (for the short jungle walk), water shoes & sunglasses. Consider bringing a Lycra type long sleeve shirt/leggings for jellyfish season. There were jellyfish at the beaches so, I didn’t swim. My husband and others from our group swam and were fine.

Great day out on the waters of the Gulf of Thailand, very nice crew very knowledgeable spoke well English. The lunch was fabulous. Highly recommend.

This was my favorite tour I did in all of Thailand and this is coming from someone who is pretty picky about tours! You do need to be careful when booking tours in this region as most tours cram you onto a crowded boat and take you to places where there's hundreds of other tourists. This tour was exactly as promised, we took a route that allowed us to avoid the insane crowds and we were on our own private beaches for most of the day. The entire day was just magical. Our guides Farouk and Margarita were outstanding - so welcoming, friendly, and patient, and took the time to teach us about the islands and various landmarks. Everything felt extremely safe and well planned. I also liked that this tour gave us a decent amount of free time so we could choose whether we wanted to swim/snorkel, lay on the beach, go up to the Hong Island lookout, etc. It felt less forced than other tours. The lunch was a delicious buffet of Thai food (and also my favorite tour lunch), I really enjoyed it. I loved everything about this tour and highly encourage you to book it.

We absolutely loved the tour of James Bond island and Hong. We especially enjoyed the “room” at Hong Island and my husband loved the “mini James Bond” and having a swim there. The guides were really informative and helpful. It was a great day and well worth the cost!

What a magical day we spent with Gina, Stephan and crew! Highly recommend this company and this tour. All the reviews I read were accurate but even better in person. They manage to keep you out of the throngs of people. Lunch was delicious and everyone on our boat friendly from guests to staff. Great day!!! Definitely do it!

Me and my partner participated in two tours with Thalassa Tour, James Bound and Phi Phi. I would recommend this agency to everyone. Excellent communication, easy booking and payment. The tours were very well organized. There were just the right number of people and we were looked after with attention and care throughout. We saw beautiful places and really appreciated the ability to create “tailor-made” itineraries, avoiding the most crowded places and times. For example, we arrived at Hong Island when the other tours with hundreds of people were leaving, allowing us to enjoy the beach in a more enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. The guides are super nice and friendly, and the food was also very good. So: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Helena, Naim.amd Stephan were amazing , they went above and beyond to make sure that everyone has whats he needs and that they are enjoing the time. The tour was very well planned so we will not hit high trafic on the visited island.. We had an amazing day trip.

this trip was great. they were well organized and really have thought out and planned to try and accommodate a better experience due to heavy tourism and lots of people. the routes they chose were hand picked to navigate and avoid crowds so you could enjoy your time. i’m pretty particular too, i like to often take private tours to be honest, as sometimes it’s just too much you feel crammed and people can be difficult, this tour allows up to 16 people, and we definitely got lucky. Every single person on our tour was amazing. We were from all different countries and everyone was such good people, it was so cool. so we did get lucky there. we had an amazing picnic lunch on a beach that was pretty much desolate with a an amazing view. Our guides made sure to get all the perfect photos for everyone. The meal that was prepared for us was one of the best meals i’ve had in Thailand. so authentic. They provided drinks and fresh fruit for snack. The entire staff were all so helpful and kind. when we went snorkeling, our guides helped take us around and show us different types of wildlife. the boat was very clean and organized. they care about our safely and well being that was apparent and obvious from the very beginning all the way to the very end making sure we all got to the tour and all got transportation back to where we were all staying. i would 100% do tours with this crew whenever im here! A truly fantastic day. My husband w and I really enjoyed the boat tour and everyone of the team were brilliant, explaining everything in three different languages to accommodate everybody on board. An extra special touch was when they brought out Sangria and fresh fruit to toast a couple on board who were on their honeymoon. I would recommend this boat tour to anyone that is looking for a really professional company to provide a great day out.

We had a great time on this trip which was made extra special by our tour guides Farouk and Stefan. They were both funny, caring, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure you were having a great time. The only negative thing I would say is the James Bond island visit was not really worth going to as we stayed on the boat due to the island being so overcrowded. The time we spent on Hong Island was incredible and the stair climb to the scenic lookout at the top of the island is definitely worth doing. The lunch provided was delicious and I would highly recommend going with Thalassa Tours for any trip they offer. Once again thank you Farouk and Stefan 😊

So much fun visiting the Islands on this Tour without the crowds! Tour Guides were brilliant and food was great. Couldn’t have spent Christmas Day doing anything better.

Great staff, good locations and beautiful scenary. The lunch was great too. We enjoyed it a lot and recommend to take it if you are on Railay Beach (no other choice from Railay to James Bond but it's good).

This was such a fun tour! Our guide Tuna was the best guide I've had in Krabi! He was amazing and really made the tour worth it. He was very funny and friendly always talking to everyone and very informative. He pointed out cool things along the way. We had a great lunch and our group was mostly Spanish so the guide Ivan was able to translate and help out with that. Elena also helped out carrying the things and answering any questions. This was my favorite tour and I definitely recommend it to everyone! I will be doing this again next time I come to Krabi, but honestly I hope Tuna is still here!

I booked this tour months in advance and the operator cancelled with little more than 24 hours notice. They asked if I could do another day, which I couldn’t, so they refunded me. That was the least they could do as I then had to scramble around and find another islands tour on short notice. Luckily I found a cheaper one from Krabi Ezy Trails which was amazing.

Amazing tour guides, and crew. They planned the trip in such way that we visited amazing places that were not busy at all. we had English and Spanish translation on the trip and also amazing lunch. An, Our English guide (I probably wrote his name wrong but you know who he is), Mark, our Spanish guide and Kim, the trainee.

This tour was incredible. We did another tour through our hotel and it didn't come close to this in terms of the experience! They take you to remote islands with a small group, away from the crowds - not to mention we had an amazing buffet lunch on a remote beach. I can't recommend this enough to anyone considering it. By far our most memorable day in Thailand on our two week trip!!! Thank you!

Great experience. Great with only a small group. Visited some less known islands in the morning with hardly anyone else there then visited Hong island in the afternoon when most of the other tourists had left. Awesome guides too and lunch provided was tasty.

Weather wasn’t great but Tuna, Theresa and Biel and the rest of the crew worked tirelessly and did the best they can to enliven the occasion and to save the day. My family and I very much enjoyed the trip despite the wind and rain. Many thanks.

Don't doubt, if you want to discover wonderful places in Andaman Bay, go with Thalassa tours and ask for Stephane an Unn. Completely different than standard tours. We were alone all the time, 10 Spanish people, and spent day like with a group of friends
