The islands are beautiful, even on a rainy day. The boat captain did a great job of finding a good swimming spot as well as the island drop off.

Very professional and beautiful. Preferred this over hong and James bond. Left early so the crowd was barely there. Good companions.
Very good, beautiful islands, lots of boats so did get crowded, trick is to be the first boat there for good photo opportunities
Very nice time spent, beautiful beaches on remote islands, we had a wonderful, sunny weather and I proposed there to my girlfriend. The only minus was lack of English knowledge resulting by small misunderstandings when trying to suggest some things to boat driver.
Boat operators were husband and wife team and absolutely fantastic. Islands we visited were clean and beautiful. We asked them to take us to islands with less tourists,
Great tour in 4 ilands. The boat operator did not speak English but it has no influence on the lovely tour
We had an amazing time and there were beautiful views. I would just warn that some of the beaches are a little rockier than you might expect!
Nice trip along several islands. The organisation was very smooth with pick up arranged out of area. We asked to set off early and this was arranged for us. This way we saw the sunrise from the boat, which was beautiful and we arrived at most stips before the crowds. Lots of space on the boat, both shaded and in the sun. There is a set tour schedule and we were giving a return time for some of the stops but were able to return to the boat sooner if we wanted. We spent lots of time snorkeling without a time limit. Watermelon and pineapple and plenty of cold water was provided. Return to our accommodation was waiting for us when we arrived.
They picked us up ahead of time, and drove us to the pier. We rented fins, because the operator offers masks and snorkels, but no fins. Please make sure you rent your fins at their shop near the pier or bring your own. We paid the 10 baht fee per person to access the pier, and off we went. The park fee was paid at the first island we landed. No surprises, as they told us ahead of time that we would be charged this very small amount. Also, we asked whether they could arrange food, and they prepared delicious chicken fried rice meals that were served at lunch time in one of the islands. Our skipper was friendly and helpful, but did not speak any language other than Thai. But Google Translate resolved this minor issue. We were really happy with our skipper’s skills, friendliness, and flexibility. He was very courteous, prepared a fresh fruit feast for us, and anticipated every potential issue related to our age group (we are in our 60’s). As requested, he took us to great diving spots and breathtaking islands and beaches. We highly recommend this trip!!
Great trip. So many views. Chance to snorkel and good time to explore each of the four drop points. Pack your own food and snacks as little was available.
My sister, niece, and I enjoyed having our own private boat to explore the 4 islands. At our request, the driver punctually picked us up at our hotel at 730am and took us to the dock where we got on our boat. Our driver didn't speak a lot of English but it didn't affect our experience. He was pleasant and took us to a different cove when it was too windy to snorkel a the location designated for snorkeling. He used Google Translate at times to give us more specific instructions about when to be back at the boat. We loved Boda island and just being on the water and seeing the amazing rock formations all around us! We were wondering about food, and we were happy to find out that Boda island had a snack bar and we were able to get iced espressos and coconuts. Snorkeling is a secondary activity, so I don't recommend this tour if that is high on your list. Koh Tao or perhaps Maya bay might be a better option if you want to do some quality snorkeling. We spent a full 6 hours on the tour and after returning to the dock, our driver was waiting to take us back to the hotel. It was a fun and great experience! Though we were interested in Phi Phi Islands/ Maya Bay, we were glad we didn't do that in the Long tail because the waves were choppy and it would have been a brutal 1 1/2 hour boat ride in each direction. If you go to those islands from Krabi, I recommend the bigger, faster boats.
I would highly recommend this trip for family travellers. The pricing is per trip rather than per person, which makes it excellent value for a family of 4–5. We started the journey a bit early, and the hotel pickup was smooth. Everything ran seamlessly, even though the operators spoke only a little English. Do make sure to bring 200 baht per adult in cash for the entrance ticket, as this is not included in the price.
A very chilled day. Just the right amount of time in the boat vs island stops. The driver was relaxed and ensured our safety, by avoiding boat wash (from larger vessels) on every occasion. The whole booking experience was seamless.
Great experience. Option to start early to avoid the crowds. We were able to adapt our itinerary to our needs. Also some delicious fruit and water included.
It was a horrible experience, and I honestly felt cheated. Let’s start with the boat: it smelled strongly of gasoline, and once we arrived, it broke down. We had to wait over an hour for a replacement boat before continuing to Railay Beach. The tour was supposed to include Chicken Island and Thale Waek, but we did not stop at either of them. We only passed by, which is unacceptable since stops at these locations were clearly part of the itinerary. Most of the time was spent on Poda Island, while Phra Nang Cave was not visited at all. When we asked about it, the answer was simply “you have to walk from Railay Beach”, even though the tour description clearly stated that the boat would take us there. Overall, the organization was poor, the itinerary was not respected, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this tour to anyone.
Perfect day! Beautifully done private tour. Seamless logistics, attentive crew, and breathtaking island stops. Peaceful, flexible, and truly special.
Perfect trip around the islands of Krabi, the long tail driver was really nice and welcoming. The trip was well organised, really good value for money and would recommend
This was the best way to celebrate Christmas on our honeymoon. we loved every bit of this trip. We didn’t hire an english speaking translator and it was totally fine! The captain did fantastic with his communication
The tour was nice, but it’s more of a transportation service between the islands. The driver and his wife couldn’t speak English, which made communication difficult. They were very nice, though, just don’t expect any information about the islands or anything else
ok trip with opportunities to snorkel and sun on the beaches. Neither the boat captain nor the attendant spoke English so it was hard to figure out what was going on. First stop is Railay beach, Phra Nang, which is not an island and is very crowded and loaded with tourist trinket shops. 4-Island tour is thus incorrect. Snorkeling was pretty good, lots of multi-colored fish, giant clams, sea urchins and corals. Water is very warm. Each of the islands was fairly crowded and if you think you are going to have a beach to yourself forget it.
As posted before, it can be quite noisy. We got a tour guide and for the price it was worth it. Bring extra cash for the fees etc. Otherwise I was good. Recommend a private tour if you can afford it, made it so much easier.
We did the Four Islands trip, taking the private boat for ourselves and our three teenage daughters. We enjoyed a super day, the highlight of which was snorkelling next to Chicken Island. The boat captain didn’t speak too much English but took care of us so well. He made sure we saw the important views, and took care to cover the boat for us to protect us from the flash rain. Fruit, water and snorkel equipment was provided. Pickup from and to the hotel was welcome especially as the pier is a little way away from the main Ao Nang area where we were staying. The tour agency were in close contact with us via WhatsApp ( message and audio call), and the representative organising the tour spoke perfect English. We were able to clarify any doubts easily and felt very well supported throughout the entire trip. We really appreciated the advice to start the trip at 6am to avoid the other boats leaving at 8am. Early start but totally worth it. We had the islands to ourselves when we first arrived, although I imagine it is busier in the main tourist season. We all enjoyed it so much that we booked the Hong island trip for the next day. Unfortunately we had monsoon rain in morning on the second day but we were well looked after again and managed to start the trip a few hours later. We had the same boat captain again which was wonderful. We visited the lagoon on one of the islands and climbed to the viewpoint on Hong Island. Unfortunately we didn’t see so many fish, probably due to the weather, but swimming in the lagoon more than made up for it. Our captain made sure to position the boat for the best photo ops. Another amazing and lovely day exploring the Thai islands, despite the cloudier and intermittent rain. Fully recommend!
Excellent day even in the rain. Boat was comfortable, lunch of chicken and rice was great even for my gluten free husband and we were picked up and the captain was very nice. Recommend for family day out
I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. They were happy for us to start our tour when it suited us best. The pickup from the hotel was prompt and efficient. The boat was great and perfectly clean. Our driver was friendly and helpful, regularly offering cold bottled water from the cool box, halfway through he also cut and prepared watermelon and pineapple which was delicious. It felt like we were able to see all the 4 stops on the island tour but without being overwhelmed by crowds/large groups. If I come back to Krabi I would definitely arrange the private tour again, much better than being herded onto a boat with another 30-40 tourists! Thank you for a brilliant trip.
This is a half day tour with pick up and drop facilities. On board they have plenty of cold water for you to drink. There is a place to snorkel however that place has sea urchins and it's advisable unless you are a good swimmer not to snorkel there as you don't wanna step on one. Also you really can't see anything so really not worth doing. Another thing if you have some mobility issues do the speedboat trip rather than long tail as getting in and out of these boats is tough. Also please wear beachware as some tourists were dressed for insta moments and really not the right place for that. They served lunch on the beach at Poda island a very simple lunch. Overall worth it but certainly not a must do activity.
Wow – what a day! We recently booked a private 4-Island Tour from Ao Nang, and every part of the day was just a great experience! From the drive to and from our Ao Nang hotel, to the transit on our own longtail boat through four different islands, everything was just what we’d wanted. We swam on the beach at Thale Waek, my husband snorkeled at Chicken Island, we viewed the incredible scenery at Poda Island and wrapped up with a great hour at Railay Beach. Not being a strong swimmer, I’d been a bit concerned about the transit on and off the longtail boat at each stop, and about snorkeling – but everything was super-easy! At the Ao Nam Mao Pier (where the tour began and ended) and at Railay Beach, we got on and off at a floating pier, and at Thale Waek and Poda Island, it was an easy transit on and off the boat into knee-deep water – made especially easy by the skill of the longtail boat captain, who was amazing in his ability to get us super-close to the shore each time. And at Chicken Island, where we anchored a bit off shore, my husband snorkeled and I stayed on the boat – which was wonderful, as the water was so clear that I could see perfectly all of the way to the bottom; it was just like I was looking into a giant aquarium from the top at an incredible number of beautiful fish! From the delicious snack of fresh pineapple and watermelon, to the beautiful scenery and amazing islands, to the efficient and friendly staff, this was just an awesome day; I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Absolutely our favourite excursion from a six week trip! The captain was very friendly with the children, the scuba spots had tons of fish, the 4islands were unbelievably beautiful, the whole experience was incredible as was the value for money. We even got to swim with plankton at sunset and experience bioluminescence! Pond was incredibly helpful with rescheduling our day trip after I booked the wrong date in error. Professional, helpful & friendly. Don’t think about booking this trip, just do it. You won’t regret it. Thank you all for wonderful memories that our family will cherish forever.
4 island long boat trip Pros The time spent out at sea looking at the islands The cut up fruit and chicken fried rice Seeing the islands The nice people ( on and off boat ) Cons The boat engine is out of the water and extremely loud so not peaceful 😬 We were supposed to spend another hour or two on the last island. Due to language barrier we did not realise boat would be anchored away from shore ( it had been ‘in port’ on the other isles.). We therefore did not have our towels, sun cream, my husband didn’t have his shoes, we had no cameras or shorts etc . We thought we could get off and eat and then bring rubbish back to the boat and get our stuff. This spoiled the last island and we left early. NB 200 tbh payable per person as you are in a national park and 10tbh pier fee. This is just FYI so bring with you.
The pick up was on time. The life jackets are worn out. The captain brought us to Thale Waek island and we had to pay 200 baht each. The snorkelling spots are not fantastic. There were no fish at the 1st stop. We only managed to see some fish and corals at the last stop. The islands sceneries were amazing
An experience not to be missed, the captain of our longboat No. 2 was very helpful. The snorkelling area he bought us to was swarming with fish in crystal clear water, wonderful day with beautiful (of course) beaches.
They charged for 4 islands but took us to the closest Railey island and told us to spend time there and blamed that due to high tide we can’t visit the other islands. It was a 100 baht trip and they charged 4000 baht for this
Beautiful islands, beaches and snorkeling. Courteous guide! It was pouring for some of it and was still very cheerful!
Always better to have a private tour. We could take our time and relax at the islands and the snorkelling spot had a variety of fish to sight. Boat skipper was easy and friendly.
Amazing trip and very well organised. Communication was excellent and the pick up was on time - our guide Neo was very informative and took some great family photos for us. The scenery is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend.
It was just a great trip, there was no rush we could do each island in our own time. Our guide was just very patient and knew what he needed to know.
Very nice Tour. Pick up at hotel was punctual and we were the only ones, so there was no going around to numerous hotels picking up other passengers and being on a bus forever as we have experienced with other tours. Long boat was in decent condition and the driver was friendly and accommodating. We left out early so our fist three islands weren’t busy at all. The last one was super busy but it cleared out after a bit. Over all, very satisfied with tour and price was very reasonable for a private tour.
Its very boring. Its recommended to go in groups only. Boat ride is not fun at all. Also they make you visits islands in sunlight. I personally was not able to enjoy any island because of sunlight. They provide good food with picnic setup. They provide awesome fruits. They click really amazing pictures. Only for food and pictures, its pretty expensive but go-ahead if you are in a group of 5-6 people
Amazing trip, well organised and big thanks to our captain. Islands were wonderful, snorkelling was fab and cold water on offer throughout the trip was much appreciated.
Lovely experience! We thought it was great that the various places we got to see were so different and each one had something unique to offer. Both the driver who took us to the pier and the boat captain were super friendly and a joy to be around.
Great to arrive at the islands before the crowds would be better if host spoke better English and told you about the islands you where visiting but still enjoyable and worth a visit
Today was a day where I said If I die tomorrow I die happy. Our tour was amazing. Our guide was so accommodating, Forest we can't thank you enough for this once in a life time experience. The pick up was on time, I driver so helpful and friendly. The boat was safe and clean. My heart is happy
We liked this trip with the private longtailboat. Our captain was very friendly and he served fruits to us on the beautiful beach. 🍍🍉. The weather was changleable and there was a strong wind, rain and big waves on the way back. Beacause of the bad weather condiciones we couldn't stay at our last stop in Phrang Nga and we arrived back at the starting point 1 hour early. We really enjoyed our trip and will recommend it 🤗.
Best private tour ever! What an absolutely incredible private tour! Our guide, Nana, transformed our experience into something unforgettable. We explored countless islands at our own pace—never in a rush, just filled with laughter and pure joy! Having her as our photographer allowed us to capture beautiful memories through her fantastic poses. Her warm heart and vibrant spirit enriched our adventure. The water sparkled as blue as the sky, the breathtaking islands surrounded us, and that beautiful fruit basket was simply photogenic! Nana I was able to incorporate our ideas for pictures into her creative spin. Even jumping off of the boat mid-air pictures, an a tik tok! We truly felt like we were in paradise!
We hired the boat, to be away from the crowds. Best decision we made. Besides being a cool boat, all to ourselves, our driver stopped at some amazing spots for us, not crowded. He patiently waited while my sons did their exploring and modified the route to accomodate their whisky. I loved this day!
Brilliant day, didn't realise I'd booked a private tour! Highlight snorkeling just off Chicken Island. Definitely a trip to remember.
This tour was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so unbelievably kind. We had some major issues, due to last minute hotel accomodations and nothing to do with the tour, that required us to miss our original date/time. The driver not only offered to wait and help find us a hotel (out booking was canceled and we had to to find a last minute emergency hotel) but they also allowed us to reschedule the trip later in the week. The driver, the boat captain, and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Thailand has been so good to is and the people have been wonderful. You could not find a more kind group to offer some of the most beautiful experiences available. Loved every minute of the tour. From the monkeys to the breath-taking views.
Very punctual.good service.worth it. They provide drinking water n fruits(cut w artistic style). Comfortable boats w lots of life jackets. Suitable for those that having young kids.
It was a great experience and a must for first time visitors to Krabi. I erroneously forgot to request a guide for the tour but our boat driver was great !
Fabulous 4 Island private Tour for 4 of us with our boat guide and his young son. We were met at the Hotel by a taxi and taken directly to the pier where we met the boat. We understood that there was no English guide but our boatman was able to communicate with us effectively and he and his son were great company. Fruit and water during the trip and a good amount of time to snorkel. We would definitely recommend it. Thank you
You should definitely go to 4 island tour when your are on phuket tour. 1 day stay is must on poda island. It's one of the best part on my phuket tour. Also do some water sports and snorkeling, you will see beautiful fish's when you see under the clean sea water.
