Namtok Ron Khlong Thom The waterfall, located quite near to the Emerald pool, is in a shady forest area with numerous hot springs. You can relax in one of the many natural hollows in the creek and watch the water gently cascade into the cool pools. Enjoy your own natural "hot-tub jacuzzi" filled with running spring water at a pleasant 35?c-40?c.
The Emerald Pool or also called Sa Morakot is is a natural turquoise blue pond with fresh water supplied from natural streams coming down from the hills. Located in the province of Krabi in Thailand it is one of the TOP excursions in the region. In the middle of a mystical jungle you can discover two crystal-clear lakes, the picturesque Emerald Pool and the Blue Pool. During a short hike through the forest you have the opportunity to explore an intact ecosystem. Sure you will be
Visiting the Tiger cave temple is one of the things you must do in Krabi! The Tiger cave temple, also known as Wat Tham Suea in Thai, is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in Thailand. The Tiger cave temple is known for the tiger paw prints in the cave, the tall Buddha statues and of course the exhausting hike up the Tiger cave temple mountain with incredible views. But it’s absolutely worth climbing the 1260 steps until you reach the summit on top of the 309 meter high cliff. The view over Krabi is amazing with all the limestone cliffs and beautiful lush rain forest.

I liked that each stop felt different, from the warm spring to the emerald pool and the temple climb. The steps at Tiger Cave were tiring but the view made it worthwhile. Bring water because it gets hot. A busy day that was well worth it.
Today’s day tour was truly enjoyable. The guide, who was also our driver, was both patient and professional. The weather was extremely hot, but his enthusiasm was even hotter than the weather. The two swimming stops were especially delightful—one in a natural spring-fed pool and the other in a hot spring. It was an unforgettable experience. Thank you for making the day so special!
Bill, my friend was very knowledgeable and everything explained everything took his time carried our bags. It was just a wonderful person to be with as a tour guy.
Plenty of toilets. Gluten free catered for. Right amount of time spent at each place. Great guide called Chow. Knowledgeable.
Amazing tour! The best one we had during our stai in Krabi! Our tour Guide Chao was very professional, kind and knowledgeable :) The highlight of the day was definitely reaching the top of Tiger cave temple: not easy but worth every step!!! Only one complaint: the food choice at the lunch buffet was limited (the food was nice though)
Brilliant day especially the tiger cave climbing the steps 1260 to the top is definitely worth it. Would highly recommend this trip.
It's ok Nothing special Too much crowded Not a must see destination. Service is great but attraction not
The emerald lake, hot springs, and temple is a great way to spend a day on krabi! Joining this tour is much easier, and cheaper, than finding your own way to all three places separately and worrying about coming back. The included lunch is nothing special but there are shops along the trip where you can purchase food.
Really enjoyed the trip. Thanks to all the team for making it happen. Pools were beautiful. The Tiger Cave climb is very tough but worth it
I had a great time on this tour and very happy staff. They were knowledgeable and organized during the trip.
It was a smoothly run tour with Chaw as a guide. He was professional and friendly. All the highlights were visited and we had enough time to enjoy each stop. The lunch was just ok and we also had bottle water for the afternoon but don’t expect water and fresh fruits waiting for you in the bus. Overall I recommend this tour
A very organised day...a very helpful guide....a thoroughly enjoyable experience from pick-up at my hotel to drop back.
Tiger Temple and steps NOT for those with a fear of heights! plenty to see and do on the ground tho!
Brilliant trip, tour guide was amazing! Great value for money. Our family loved it. Tiger temple was a tough hike but worth it for the views.
Was a good tour. Only suggestion to the tour organizers is to maybe do the Tiger Cave tour first and then the other things after to relax because the cave hike isn't easy. The pool is very nice and the hot springs are really refreshing.
The driver was on time to pick up point. Hot spring was fantastic and no crowd there. The emrald pool was crowded and we did not have enough time to reach to the blue lagoon as it was 1800m walk one way.
Very pleasant guide. My niece forgot her suit in the van and they drove it back to us after hours. Amazing!
Beautiful and picturesque trip. I would like to have more information on what it was and what made the temple important. No clue what it was about.
Emerald Pools and Hot springs were amazing!! The tiger temple could be missed though. The tour ran late, and driver was quite dangerous towards the end. At first, was just fast driving but after temple we were car sick and anxious from the swerving and being so close to cars and bikes in front. That being said, the guide was great. So kind and great to talk to. A fun day out :)
Beautiful pools and swimming. The tiger cave temple was a very strenuous climb but the views were worth it. Beware the monkeys on the way. Only two people in our group had the energy left at the end of the day to do it.
A great day out. Enough time at the springs and pool and they truly are beautiful places. The buffet lunch included at the restaurant was better than expected. At the temple, we got just over 1.5 hours so you need to choose whether to do the climb or see the temple. We chose to climb, took us 35 mins up and 25 down (we stopped to watch the monkeys) it's is a rather difficult climb but plenty of levels to take breaks to get your breath back and so rewarding when you make it up. Take a full bottle of water, you'll need it. And have a little bit of cash to hand as there's a shop selling fruit shakes at the bottom which you'll want to cool down with after! Go toilet when you leave the pool though, the ones at the temple are gross.
This was a cool experience and overall I am glad we did it, but I was expecting more. There was alot of travel time on this tour so you are in the van for a long period of time throughout the day. The Emerald Pool & the Hot Springs are so beautiful and cool to see, but not that big so you are just kind of sitting around during your time at each. Also the Tiger Cave Temple is a hike up stairs, so if you decide not to do that, there is not much else to do on the ground while you are waiting. Our guide was very nice and helpful/gave us good info throughout the day. So like I said, overall I am happy we did it, but also this is a skippable tour if you're short on time.
We really enjoyed this tour and loved exploring the sites of Krabi that were unique and stunning. The lunch provided was buffet style Thai food and quite yummy. The tour guide was lovely, punctual and helpful. We ran on time with no problems. However, this tour was on the expensive side and although I enjoyed it, we probably could have managed it on our own for a cheaper price.
It is important to learn about the sites before visiting them because there are almost no in-depth explanations.
Very chaotic day out. Tour guide lady was not communicating how transfers would work. Ended up paying more to get into the national park which I find absurd considering the cost already and the lunch is simply not worth it - below average. However I would still recommend the emerald pool and hot springs to anyone but maybe book your own transfers so you’re not a tight schedule.
We had a great tour guide, Fatime with Oh-Hoo Krabi Tours. And the Emerald Pool and the Hot Springs were fantastic. When visiting the Emerald Pool, it’s definitely worth it to walk another 600 meters to the Blue Pool. But I don’t know if I would recommend the Tiger Temple. The 1300 steps are big steps and super steep, and the shrine at the top is just meh. If you go, take more than one bottle of water. With 90% humidity and high temperatures, you will sweat buckets! Also, I consider myself in relatively good shape. I jog and spend a few minutes on the stair master every week, but this hike pushed me to my limit. Maybe I came down too quickly. I was a bit wobbly afterwards and the next day my legs were still cramped.
It is very beautiful, but going first to the pools and then to the tiger cave is not ideal. I get why they do it, the pools are an hour away but the Tiger Cave is only half an hour away. Problem is you are at a 1200 steps stairs during the hottest time of the day, we gave up after 600 steps because we were melting. Also one couple decided to up after a while and delayed our trip home by half an hour. But hour guide was amazing, she let them hear it and demanded that they apologized to everyone. The pools are beautiful and my husband enjoyed them, I don't like being wet all day, so I only dipped my feet in. The emerald one is also not to hot, while the other can get up to 40°C.
Very average. Definitely not worth the price. The guide was not helpful at all, provided no info whatsoever about the places.
The places we went really were wonderful and worth visiting and our driver and guide were delightful, but the tour was so over priced it was ridiculous. It was basically just a driver to the 3 different places and then you had to pay entry to each with a very average lunch included. Definitely go, but book with a local agent for 1/4 of the price.
From start to finish our tour guide Fatin (hope that’s correct ) was excellent a ray of sunshine very organised Tiger caves were part of this trip which I wouldn’t have chosen to go to The emerald pool and blue lagoon were absolutely beautiful but icing on the cake was the hot springs what an experience loved it highly recommend this trip from Ao Nang 👍👍👍👍
Pick up from hotel was reliable. They provided a 20 minute window. Our tour guide Por, was sweet and informative. The Hot Springs and Emerald Pool were beautiful. Make sure to make bathing suit and towel for these but then cover up for the Tiger Cave. Beware that the tour does not provide enough time for the Tiger Cave. We were original told that we had 1.5 hours at the cave but it ended up being closer to an hour and 10 minutes. Walking up to the Buddha was challenging. There were about 1300 steps on a steep incline with monkeys at the beginning of the journey (don’t bring food or soda with you). Some steps were uneven or spaced out. It took us 40ish minutes to go up and 30ish minutes to come down. We ended up making our tour late. We had no time to actually see the Tiger Cave or anything Ian the surrounding area. If you really want to enjoy Tiger Cave, I suggest booking a separate tour for just this or booking a tour that allows 2-3 hours here.
I had such a great time! First we went to the hot springs, then the emerald pool (which was so beautiful) and then tiger cave temple! I loved exploring nature and these were peaceful areas to go. Our tour guide, Apple, was awesome 😎 so organized, friendly and kind.
Wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable tour guide. She made sure we got pictures and had amazing experiences. 100% customer service!!
The tour guide, Apple, was absolutely amazing. So friendly and knew so much about the area! The pools were spectacular and I really enjoyed the Tiger Temple visit
This tour was one of the top tours suggested when you google things to do in Krabi. Although the tour had nothing wrong with it, we thought it was a little slow paced and not very interesting. The tour guide said very little to us. We walked along a bridge in the rainforest and that was really pretty. The hot spring it led to was pretty disappointing. Then we walked some more to get to the Emerald Pool. It was pretty water but nothing too special. Then we drove to Tiger Temple. 1206 steps to the top!!! My daughters made it up and said it was really pretty with a gorgeous view. Watch out for the monkeys that like to steal your shoes, as you need to take them off to enter the temple. The girls said there was lots of garbage everywhere up there because the monkeys take it out of the garbage. I was so tired after going up half way so I turned back down. I though I would miss out on seeing the monkeys but there were lots on the bottom by the restaurants. One of them stile a backpack off a lady's shoulder and took it into the trees!!! If you have small kids, the hike, hit springs and emerald pool would be fun for them. Small kids or older people would struggle with the stairs.
We went through this tour in June, it says by Oh-hoo company, however, the actual company that came for the tour was Cat something. The places that we visited were not in the correct order, for example, the most relaxing activity: The hot spring was done first followed by the second relaxing activity of Emerald pool and visiting Blue pool (almost 3kms walk), Tiger cave temple, if you're planning to go to the top of the summit be prepared for 45-50 mins hike and then 30 mins to come down, beware of monkeys on the way. The tour gave only 1.5 hours for this activity and the most strenuous activity was left for the last. There is a tiger cave temple located downstairs with just 100-200 m walk. Be prepared to carry cash as the National parks and other activities fees is not included in this activity
Apple with Cattery Tours was wonderful! So nice and informative. She truly cared about our enjoyment and giving us a wonderful experience. On time pickup and air-conditioned spacious vehicle. Kept us informed of all details. She even made sure all our belongings were safe while we were partaking in the sites. Highly recommend this trip!
From Hot Spring to Emerald Pool (saw an Asian water monitor), and the beauty of the Tiger Cave Temple and its breathtaking climb to the summit this experience was well worth the time. Dr Jim
Well organised and stuck to timings, transport comfortable and airconditioned. Tiger cave was disappointing and the time too get up the mountain was too short - an escalator would have been good lol. Lovely trip to the springs and excellent hosting by Apple.
Great adventure ! Loved it ! The guide was incredible and very nice ! I had a lovely Time, I will remember this day ! :) I recommend it !
The staff was very frienly and accurate about timing, but we had plenty of time for everything. Unfortunately heaps of people everywhere, but thats life.
We booked this trip last minute and were very impressed! These are popular destinations with tour buses but it did not feel too rushed or busy. This was perhaps because we had a small bus (only 12 or so people) and plenty of time at each stop. Our guide, Haty, was very friendly, helpful and organised! Lunch was a tasty buffet, plenty to go around the many groups eating at the restaurant. We would recommend bringing a significant amount of water with you/buying extra at the shop by the stairs, if you are headed up to the temple. The tour provides plenty throughout the day, but the climb is challenging in the heat and requires you to have more water. A beautiful view and well worth the effort, although we did not have enough time to see the rest of the temple areas or the cave at the bottom due to the climb taking us quite a long time (we didn't mind!).
An excellent trip!! Visited hot springs before they got busy, Emerald pool with enough time for swimming and then Tiger Cave temple, plus lunch! Adequate amount of time at each location, lovely lunch including vegetarian options. Tour guide Bass was fantastic, very informative and shared lots of local knowledge. Would definitely recommend this trip!!!
Tiger cave was brilliant but whole trip was great! Lovely lunch too with 4 dishes to choose from. Hosts where very good too!
Tiger Cave Temple was among our "must-dos" for our trip. I enjoyed the long ascent to the mount past monkeys, the view from the top and the serenity once there below the large golden Buddha. Unfortunately I did not make it all the way to the cave along the trail past the pagoda and the large temple is under construction but looks like it will be magnificent once finished. The Tiger Cave itself was cool but I only spent about 3 minutes inside. The Blue Pool was fascinating and beautiful, the Emerald Pool meh, and the Hot Springs were a unique experience. If you really want to experience the pools and Hot Springs the tour is not a bad way to spend the day, though I might have been as content spending a quarter of a day and only 450 baht renting a scooter and driving myself to Tiger Cave Temple.
This tour was great, we were able to see a lot of things during the day! The hot springs waterfall was so nice, the pool at the bottom was colder water so it felt so refreshing! Seeing the blue pool was really beautiful, and it nice to get the chance to swim in the emerald pool. We ended the excursion with the hike up to see the Buddha at tiger cave temple and this was definitely something that could be more challenging for some people. It is something that you want to have plenty of water for and take your time, by the top our legs were very tired but the view was beautiful!
Was a great tour. Our tour guide Haty was amazing and took photos for us during the activities. Would've been nice to have a bit more time at the Emerald Pool and less time at the Tiger Cave Temple
Was a good experience the guide was very nice and the hot springs were a nice and different from other things you can see and they were amazing!
The tour guides were late to collect us by over an hour and did not notify. The Emerald pool and Hot Spring worth visiting. However, the Tiger cave temple itself was closed to public and after climbing over thousand steps to the summit only to find out the Buddha statue has only been there for 50 years only was disappointing to say the least.
