This was a great trip and highly recommend. We got to go into the lagoon, and plenty of swimming time too! Guide was great, and ensured we had a great experience, and tried to avoid the crowds for us too.

It’s like a production line. So many people. You had to queue to get on and off the islands. It was awful. But then the whole Krabi area is completely overrun with tourists.
The tour starts very late, after 10 a.m., when the sun is already very strong. The tour should start much earlier. The snorkeling experience was not good. The boat was parked in a low-tide area where there were jellyfish and sea urchins. I accidentally stepped on a sea urchin, and the tour guide kept saying it was “okay” and not to worry. However, I still had spines stuck in my foot and had to go to a medical clinic after the tour to have them removed, as it was very painful, inflamed, and at risk of infection. The tour guide was very dismissive of the situation and did not provide any guidance or advice on what to do. The beaches themselves are undeniably beautiful, but they get extremely crowded, as expected. It is also disappointing that all the beaches had designated smoking areas. It’s hard to understand why smoking is allowed in a national park that is meant to be protected and preserved.
Brilliant day seeing another island in Thailand. Would highly recommend this trip. The 360 view point is just stunning.
Really cool trip! Couldn’t really snorkel because there were jellyfish around but you could still do it if you wanted to! Hong island was really pretty, would recommend anyone to go (especially up to the viewpoint)
Very nice Trip. Staff Is very friedly and care about everyone. But funny too give a good feeling to stay together. Enough time on different target.
Staff were good but the food and service was not that good. I mentioned Vegetarian lunch but I didn't receive it. I had to buy from the place with my money to eat on that day.
Although the weather was overcast the crew poured sunshine on us from the word go, looking after us very well and having great fun. There was swimming, snorkelling, paddle boarding followed by a delicious lunch. All organised by Panan hotel. A great day
Excellent scenery! Wonder beaches in coves and on the bay! Very personable host. Great boat! We were well taken care of!
The worst tour guide I’ve seen in my travel life he’s just concentrating on the girls group which was there and ignoring us like we are travelling in his boat for free and just giving us commands on the basis of just we were boys
Our Tour guide Irene from Krabi SunSet Tours was incredible along with all the staff. the speedboat was very nice and worth paying extra money. The islands are beyond beautiful and absolutely worth doing! Can’t wait to come back
The longtail boat ride was pretty alright - we got to snorkel at the first area but the water was quite murky (sand swishing about) so we had to pay really close attention to the clownfish our guide pointed out. The second location, Lao Lading was beautiful! Super crowded though… but we enjoyed having our boxed lunch on a bench, feeling the sea breeze. Hong Island was also really beautiful and the view from the viewpoint was amazing. The beach was really crowded and I got stung by a jellyfish while in the water :| but overall, it was alright. Our guide excitedly showed us photos and videos (I assume he took on previous trips) which was quite nice. He also offered to help my friend and me take some photos at scenic spots!
We found out from the guide that because it was high tide there would be no fish to see when snorkelling. What stands out the most was the terrible meal we were served . We arrived on the island to see some people serving themselves at a buffet style table YUM we thought . We were then given a small container that had rice, salad and chicken in a sauce that was so spicy it set your mouth on fire! No coke as it said in the add , I didn’t really care but some people did . The fruit was served on the way back and it was not kept on ice so it was warm and awful.
Best island in Thailand..do the 420 steps to view point Sandy bay to swim in...10 mins from mainland. 300 bht entry free per person
This tour was pretty good. Staff were fantastic, really friendly and informative. There were plenty of soft drinks throughout and the beach lunch was tasty and served well. We really enjoyed the stops, going to various coves for swimming before stopping on Hong Island. Unfortunately for us, due to the tide, we could only swim on Hong Island for around 30 minutes of our three hour stop as they do not allow you to swim at low tide to protect the coral. We did enjoy the walks the island had to offer. They use a speedboat, which is fast and efficient. However, you really cannot see much with the roof and low seating, so it is a bit disappointing as we couldn't really look at any scenery during transport to and from areas. The other annoying thing was that only four people could sit at the front of the boat in the open, but the staff did not regulate this and the same people kept taking the spots without sharing. If I were to do this again, I would look for a more open boat so you could at least see the views, but I would say this was value for money. It also included pick up from our hotel, which was super convenient.
What a beautiful island picture perfect…soft sandy beach with beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth a visit . We went with a private long-tail boat to Hong island then finished in Railey Beach
It’s a once in a lifetime experience, island hopping to one of the most beautiful locations with a wonderful and professional crew.
Such a well planned and lovely day out. Islands were beautiful, lunch was nice and Dave and the crew were great! We got what was advertised and can’t find a thing to complain about. Ignore the bad reviews this is a good trip.
One of the greatest Island i ever seen in Thailand It is my 6th Trip to Thailand and i really saw already a lot of this beautiful country but this Island Trip to Ko Hong was simply incredible. I can‘t even explain it you have to see it by yourselve. There is a view point on top of the mountain you have to walk for about 10 min but trust me it is a „must do“ What you will see from there is …. WOW 😍 I recommend to start very soon in the morning with your trip because this island is one of the biggest Hot Spots in this area and around 10:30 is already full of visitors
Amazing food and staff; our guide was great. However, very poor logistics : we were left waiting for 1.5h before leaving for the tour. No information given. Would not recommend to use this company
First off they were late. Then they told us they’re going to make it up and we would have the equal time on each island that we were promised but we returned at the same time and each stop we had we had less time. Lunch was definitely subpar saying lunch with subpar is a euphemism. I would’ve been better off, throwing it in the water for the fish. After being late and having less time on each island than promised and a subpar lunch, then they had the gall to ask for tips at the end lol
Don't waste your money. They won't even bother to try to find you at pick up point and then leave without you and take your money for doing nothing. Worst company
It was a great experience. The guide was very nice and helpfull. We choosed the speed boat and the people number was just right to fit the boat. Nothing to complain about, we got what we paid for.
The staff were brilliant after being late for pick up by more than 20 mins the rest of the day run smoothly the hong islands and lagoon were stunning exactly the right amount of time spent in each place
The tour was great. Tour guide was really friendly. I really enjoy my time during hong island trip. Things that need to be improved was the foods. No option and very limited.
Great way to spend the day, the views are breathtaking and the service was awesome. The nature trail and veiw point on Hong island are a must.
It’s a great tour to see all the beaches, you have decent time to spend there and swim. On Hong island you can walk up to the viewpoint and chill/swim. There’s time for everything and the food is good. They give you plenty of water and great fruit. My trip had just the right amount of ppl on the boat, great weather and amazing views from the speedboat. It was a spacious ride. The crew was lovely and the main guy on the boat was gracious enough to take photos for me and make sure everything was good with me. He took care of everyone and you could tell he really has a kind heart. So not all these group boat trips are as they are made to seem, so give it a try and you’ll be pleasantly surprised
The tour was very nice. The islands that we saw were very beautiful and our crew was very helpful. The only thing that can be improved a bit is the way they manage the time - we were picked up at 7:50 and the tour didn't start before 9:40, and the way to the meeting point was only 15min. Knowing this, we could have done the pick up ourselves and left the hotel 1h later.
Our Hong Island Tour started with a very late driver without any updates from the tour company. Once at the pier we were quickly checked in and boarded our speed boat. Our guide, Yo, and his crew were great. They were helpful and kept us informed as to what was happening. We visited several locations and all were overbooked. Beautiful sites but too many people to really enjoy the beauty.
Not saying it is not beautiful, it is. We knew it's totally overcrowded - confirmed, it is. But of all trips done in Thailand, this was not worth it. Starts with the pickup - 7.50to8.30 was our range to be picked up - we got picked up at 0800 and arrived at the pier 0830. The guide assembled us at 1000 - so we had to wait 1h30 at this ugly pier doing literally nothing... Afterwards getting on the overcrowded speedboat (literally all space taken, even counting that smaller kids only need half the space) being rushed from one island to another... both beautiful but totally overcrowded, not relaxing... U get a lunchbox to shove in, then u go to hong island... there u can actually stay for around 1h40... beautiful island... but not made to fit 1000plus visitors - imagine the public pool or lake nearby you on the crowdiest summer day you have ever experienced... it's on Hong like this, just worse and every day... U can climb up to the view point, at least not so crowded, nice view but not spectacular... Leaving hong, you pass by a hidden bay, in and out via boat, no stop... totally pointless... Then back to the pier and the hotel - at least that went very fast, we arrived, took a seat in the pick-up and 20mins later we were at the hotel Important note - leave your snorkeling stuff at home - there is absolutely nothing to see on any of the islands, the guide even admits to this.
Hong island tour was timed perfectly. In total you visit 3 islands, Hong islands being the main attraction where you stay the longest. Witness the beautiful scenic views with a complimentary lunch (vegan option provided) and the most gracious tour guides. If you’re considering it, book it!
The best tour we have done in Thailand! The crew were amazing, the islands we visited were out of this world, food was delicious & the snorkelling was awesome. 10/10
This tour was my favorite part of our trip to Thailand. The tour offered everything I wanted and exceeded my expectations. From seamless land travel to refreshments offered to lively entertainment on the boat plus the information provided. The variety of experiences offered for various levels of interests, age and experience was super. I loved the snorkeling opportunities to see 2 Nemo (clown fish) and secluded island feel with that blue water. It was wonderful.
Unlike a visit made the previous day with another company, this one did not go well. Basically, the problem here is the company that provides the service. You should simply avoid tours provided by Nang An. The tour was supposed to start at 09:00 and it started at 09:40. It should have lasted 7 hours and at 3 pm we were back. They fill the boats with people and there is no customer service at all. It's dropping at specific points and nothing else. Weak lunch. The tour itself also does not take you to places of great interest. It would be better to be a sightseeing tour without any major stops and perhaps it would make more sense.
Well organized, adventurous, good information and opportunities for all old and young. They took good care of us start to finish. We loved it!
The beaches packed with people. So so many people. Would recommend an early tour. Not the ones that leave at 9 as we only left after 10.
We had a very good time with the Hong Island Tour - beautiful islands, beaches, views - fantastic weather also ;) Our tour guide was very accommodating and fun - thank you! We would recommend this tour!
The pick up from our hotel was 2hours late so they gave us a extra 40min on the last island but I definitely think it’s not worth it, it felt rushed at the islands just enough time for a quick photo and snorkel then time to go, the boat was over full everyone was squashed, lunch was average. I think pay for a private tour.
Before you get to the main event you have to do some snorkeling off some island rock, not great. Then to a lagoon where the boat just circles round, then to Lao Lading island for some lunch of cold chicken and rice (no veggie option). Finally to the main event, Hong Island. Ok so firstly you'll be waiting around from 8.30am to 10am, then get on a very crowded, uncomfortable long boat with about 50 people doing 10mph all the way. Spent most of the day travelling. My advice: skip the other islands, go straight to Hong Island (well worth it!) and spend the extra £9 and take the speedboat option! On the plus side our tour guide was very helpful and made a excellent effort.
Nice staff and good locations that are worth seeing. Timings weren't as stated due to sea levels/tides and became a bit rushed, but was a great way to see other islands. Recommend taking the speedboat
Speed brat Was completel full. Staff were frendly an helpful. Lunch Was average. Nice stays at the beaches. Good value for money
As a first time traveller I was quite nervous to go out on a big adventure but I am SO glad I did. The tour was well organized from the moment they picked me up at my accommodations until the moment they returned me full of so many amazing memories and photos! The tour guide was very attentive and fun, I felt safe and well looked after. I was the only solo person on the trip and the guide definitely stepped up to make sure I got nice pictures taken of me in the various key locations...certainly above and beyond what I expected! The Longtail boat is quite the experience and though it is loud, it didn't detract from the enjoyment I had being out in all that island paradise. Lunch was simple and tasty, snacks were offered at the beginning and at the end and water was frequently offered. Truly I have no complaints at all. The company provides exactly the experience they advertised with an extra helping of friendly on top! Thank you for the amazing memories, Khob Khun ka 🙏
Pick up was perfect and on time. Easy contact by WhatsApp with the local tour provide from the day before. This Hong islands are much more interesting than the Chicken islands. So if you have to choose go for this one. Food was great tour. The tour providers helped taking pictures and more
We had the option of taking this tour either in the morning or in the afternoon. We were advised to take the trip in the afternoon due to the large number of visitors to the islands in the morning. We were glad that we took that advice. We had the Hong Island overlook to ourselves and empty beaches at both Koh Lao Lading and Koh Pakbia. A private tour is definitely the way to go.
Best service, coke tour guide was very friendly.. Very professional served. Good care about customer
The islands were beautiful. Tour was well-organized and staff was friendly and helpful. Lunch and water was provided.
Absolutely stunning and well planned. A good trip. Fab lunch. Well looked after. Prompt pick up and text updates on collection times.
Picked up in our hotel, you wait after under a shed.protected from the rain with coffee and simple breakfast (toast and butter / some rice stuff in a leaves). We been placed in our long tail boat after that. The boat was nearly full but not packed, also protected by the rain (some leaking but nothing major as you will be wet if rainy anyway). I remove 1 star as we barely understand our guide as he spoke about not to the front of the boat and his English was very basic. We didn’t get access to the lagoon due to the tide and the guide made us go to 2 others spots before hong island. One snorkeling spot, one nice beach for lunch (not buffet, a lunch box but was yummy) to finish at hong beach for 1h30 to enjoy the walk to the summit and a smoothie on a beach.
This was a fantastic day tour of the beautiful and very picturesque Hong Islands. The tour was very well organised and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Dave who took time and care to take some awesome photos of us that we are so happy to keep as a memory of a great day.
We had so much fun and our tour guide, Coke, was absolutely amazing! We loved snorkeling- seeing octopus and clownfish was one of the highlights of our trip!
