I would think very hard before booking a trip using this app. Unfortunately I could not make to the booked trip due to severe weather conditions. It was raining heavily in the area since the night before the departure, and continued through the morning. The operator refused to knowledge the situation and went on with it - I absolutely understand its position, considering it is the low season now and they may be struggling for customers. Videos about the morning unsafe weather conditions made no difference to Viator - a booking agency that is clearly invested on keeping their relationship with careless business partners in disregard to safety of their costumers. Itinerary
Get picked up by minivan from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach, or by speed boat if you stay at Railay Beach.
Meet our boat crew at Nopparat Thara Pier where you will get a short introduction and information about the trip to the four superb islands of the Hong Island group.
Cruise by speed boat to Railay Beach to pickup other guests.
Continue to Hong Island group with a stop at the main island itself. The half-circle shaped Hong Island is uninhabited, except for the birds, white-faced gibbons and giant monitor lizards that can be often spotted on the main white sand beach.
You will have a plenty of time to take in the beauty of this superb island including the spectacular panoramic 360° viewpoint. For those who booked the kayaking option, you can explore the surrounding of Hong Island at your own pace.
Enjoy a delicious lunch including seasonal fruits and refreshments at the magnificent twin bays of Koh Hong.
Its interior is home to a large lagoon, where you can find yourself at one with nature. The entrance to the lagoon is through a dramatic cliff passage that should be photographed on your way out.
Continue to Pakbia Island for taking photos and have a swim at the impressive sandbars revealed at low tide.
The tour will include at least two pretty decent snorkeling stops of 45 minutes each. The most impressive one is at Lading Island, a small limestone island with high cliffs and sandy sheltered beaches.

Had a great time visiting the Kong island, and got to kayak, swim, hike to the top, and had a wonderful lunch! Would recommend.
Not enough time to enjoy the beach. you have to choose between the beach, kayak activities or visiting the viewpoint. Overall it is a very complete adventure. The guide was not informed that we paid for the kayak moment, so we did lost some minutes between confirmation calls - maybe you should check this at the pier, before departure.
Everything was well organised and went smoothly. The staff are so kind and friendly. Of course the islands were beautiful more than we expected.
Enjoyed Hong island. Beautiful clear water. Plenty of room to sit. Amenities good. We had a lovely lunch. I did the kayaking. Was very good. Koh Lah ading was great. Snorjelled about a saw an abundance of fish a urchings. Make sure you wear sea shoes. I was not keen on yhe seconx iskand. I would have preferred to just do yhe two beautiful islands instead. Fantastic trip. Staff were great we were well looked after.
The pick up transfer to the pier was way too early as it was a 15 minute drive and only 2 other people to collect and we sat around for over an hour That said, we had a jolly old time and enjoyed the trip very much Fay made the day! She was charming , polite, funny, and very caring of everyone x
Extremely professional service. Taya our guide truly embodied Thai hospitality. Her communication was clear and she looked after our group with the utmost care and consideratiom. From pickup to drop off the service was seamless. Lunch provided was adequate and there was plenty of water during the day. The boys on the Sea Eagle 2 speedboat were helpful and ensured everyone got on and off the boat safely. I would book this trip again without hesitation and strongly recommend the Sea Eagle group
Pick up from hotel and drop off was very smooth. Huge operation and well organized. Speed boat was about 15 minutes each way not bumpy. Food was simple and kids friendly ( not spicy) staff spoke English well.
It was more than we expected! The beaches were incredible and our guides were very organized and clear. Be aware that you need to be pretty agile to do big steps off the boat, floating piers that undulate under your feet, and some difficult hikes (optional). The trip was amazing!!
A brilliant day. Superb crew and organisation. All the islands were amazing. Lunch and snacks were great too. Amazing value
Scenery was amazing, and we saw fish and coral. The boat was very loud. Lunch was a box with rice, egg and chicken. All the stops were crowded with tourists but if you are prepared for that it is a good trip.
I feel going on speedboat is way better tha. Long tail because it’s faster and far less exhaust fume emission! This was the very start of the season and when we got to gorgeous Hong Island lagoon there were 15 other boats in this small alcove! It’s disheartening thinking about how many tourist will completely overrun this small slice of pristine beauty. On another one of the the small islands I picked up an empty Coke can out of the water. We had to pick up 4 other people from Railey Island and spent 25 min at that dock - my reason for giving this 4 stars as it cut back on our time allotted for each. Also, the guide argued with me that I did not pay extra for kayaking and I did. I was offended - at 66 I am not some young kid trying to get away with something…By the time that got straightened out I only had 10 min to do it. The islands were beautiful.
An unexpected pleasure, hong island was beautiful, kayaking a must. I was able to see more of the island with ample time using the kayak. Team is very organised getting everyone to each island. Each island was stunning and peaceful. Lunch was basic but ample. Felt very safe on the boat and had an absolute ball.
Amazing trip we our guide and crew were great and really looked after everyone. The islands we visited were stunning. Paradise. For me Hong Island is the gem of them all.
Hong island very beautiful with walks too. Snorkeling not great as cloudy but some fish visible from surface. Other two islands not worth stopping at.
We had an unforgettable private speedboat trip to the Hong Islands with our guide Fay and the great crew She was kind and caring, and explained to us about each area we visited, which made the experience both fun and meaningful. The boat was very comfortable, with cold drinks, snacks, fresh fruit, and snorkeling equipment provided throughout the day and the crew was sooo kind. We could stop as long as we wanted at each island, which made everything feel relaxed and special. She took great photos of us during the trip and later sent us beautiful memories to keep . Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personal, unique and wonderful island experience! Fay +66 92 239 4415
Good day trip full of fun and exploration. Enjoyed the stops and the hospitality of the crew. Everything was taken care of by the crew
We did enjoy this trip and the staff were friendly, approachable and did their very best to ensure you had a good time. I did think that fewer stops at different places with more time snorkelling would have been better for us but others may well want to see more islands . I should have been better prepared with towels and wet shoes also and perhaps this could go in the info sent out prior ( I couldn’t see it mentioned ) . Also was burnt pretty bad so do put a lot of sunscreen on . I obviously didn’t use enough . Good lunch and would recommend trip
Hassan was a great tour guide, funny and good English, including pointing out the direction to swim in to get back to Ao Nang if we’re late at the last stop. :-) The stop at Hong Island was 2h20m which gave us enough time to walk up to the viewpoint (highly recommended and only about 25 minutes to the top with stopping in between), kayaking (about 25 minutes around to the lagoon but there’s lots of boat traffic in it) and time left over for lunch and swim). The speed boat was quick, only took 25 minutes back. The food was good, I was amazed at how the fried egg in the pack was still a bit runny. Even though they are a bit more expensive, I’d highly recommend it as you’re going with a good company.
It was a nice day but felt quite rushed. We didn’t have as long as the islands as I would’ve liked. The snorkelling wasn’t fun as we didn’t see anything. The kayaking wasn’t worth the money as it was for about 30 mins. Tour guides were friendly but didn’t tell us much about the islands
I would highly recommend this tour with Sea Eagle Tours. This is my second time with the tour company and they did an excellent job again.(First was Phi Phi Tours) Our guide (Fadil) was proficient in english and ensured our safety all the way. As we are bringing an infant, he understood our situation and guided through and through. I have no complaints as the tour was smooth sailing and we are given ample time as descripted to stay on the checkpoints. The boat was not overcrowded as it may be a concern during high tide. We had a great time and be sure to take Sea Eagle tours again in our time in Krabi.
We did this tour yesterday, first we lost our guide on the way to the speedboat. Then we were so cramped in you could not move let alone be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The design of the boat was just not conducive for site seeing. The stops along the way were very scenic. Lunch box was good and water offered throughout the day. On returning to mainland we were told to walk down to the right and almost missed our meeting point for return transport. Overall not well organised and overcrowded boat was not ideal for a memorable day. Need to address these issues.
We had a rainy start to our day, where the trip in fact started at Ko Lao Lading, it was really lovely so it's a shame that it was raining. We then went to another island where Freddy the guide and his two students offered to take some shots of us. When we arrived at Hong Island, the sun came out just in time. We managed to climb up the stairs to the viewpoint. Make sure you're a bit prepared if you want to go up to the viewpoint as there are 410 steps. We were offered a packed lunch and were offered to take it anywhere (obviously taking the remaining boxes back with us onto the boat), which was great as we managed to go up to the viewpoint and then picked up our lunch and took it with us on the beach, followed by a lovely swim. We also got a bonus of witnessing a monitor lizard going into the waters for a swim. The tour was well-paced and we had enough time to explore on our own.

The tour was absolutely worth the money as it offered amazing views, the most beautiful beaches and great snorkeling. During our visit in June it was luckily not very crowded. Very smooth organization, super punctual pick-up and guide with great English skills.
Great experience, this trip had everything you would expect. My girlfriend and I had so much fun on hong island and lao landing
Very nice tour with great views! Would recommend this tour. Not expensive, and very friendly tour operators. I recommend .
Took the tour as was promised great snorkeling and it was not good at all. The guys did not help when snorkeling gear was faulty and even said this is not a great snorkeling trip just good for sightseeing would of gone with another company had I known so not impressed
Nice Crew, nice Guide! (Boat 99!!!) Everything was well organiced from start to finish! Cool Drinks, fresh Fruits, snorkeling equipment. everything was available. And of course, the Islands were awesome too! :) Highly Recommended!
Aside from a bit of a lengthy hotel pick-up journey due to people not being ready (not fault of operator) it was an extremely well organised and enjoyable trip. Hong island and the two other small islands we visited were so beautiful and not particularly crowded. We loved visiting the blue lagoon and then docking for the beach at Hong Island. The beautiful cove has lots of tropical fish that come right up to you in the shallows. There is a view point to climb (over 400 steps) which gives fantastic views over the island. Steps are quite steep so don’t wear flip flops! Our guide and the speedboat crew really looked after everyone, with lots of information and great photo taking during the day. Plentiful water, a good hot lunch and fresh fruit on the way back. This is the best boat tour we have done from Krabi - would thoroughly recommend!
The trip was well organized and the islands were beautiful. The 360 view on Hong island was a challenge but worth the climb to the top. Plenty of time for swimming and relaxing at each island.
we were picked up and dropped off at the hotel. The tour guide Vay was very nice and organized. Despite the breakdown of our boat it was quickly replaced and we could move along with the tour. Lunch was included and tasteful. The islands were beautiful and idyllic. Would recommend.
Friendly crew & delicious lunch. The first two islands were pretty average, even the tour guide said not to bother going in the water. The last island, Hong Island, was the best one to swim and snorkel at. I would recommend just getting a boat to Hong Island and skip the rest.
Very well run tour that takes you to four beautiful locations. The snorkeling was not very good but the beaches and the wildlife made it an excellent tour regardless. I particularly liked the freedom to do what you wanted to do at each stop. Food was good and guides were friendly and very good at their jobs. Highly recommend.
Exceeded expectation. Excellent pick up and return from hotel. The trip was outstanding packing in a great deal of wonderful sight-seeing and a chance to see Hong and other Islands. Only drawback was that the speedboat had restricted viewing, due to the speed and bumpy ride out to and returning from the islands. Good leadership and management of the boat and trip.
A great day trip from Krabi. The speedboat was very comfortable. Plenty of water on offer throughout the day. The lunch box provided is a little underwhelming, so eat a full breakfast before you go. The 1st island is great for a quick swim to cool off - lovely rock formations. However, there is no shade. The 2nd island is beautiful - caves to explore, plenty of shade, facilities for lunch stop and a lovely small beach for snorkelling and swimming. Hong island is the last stop and definitely the highlight. It’s very scenic and beautiful - although not ideal for swimming, but snorkelling is a good option or pre-book a kayak (only if you are experienced though, as it’s unguided and open sea). Recommend purchasing an icy-cold fruit frappe from the island shop - very refreshing. Overall definitely a worthwhile trip and the Sea Eagle guides are awesome!
Well organised. Lunch was ok. Our snorkels were broken but the beach was busy and the water cloudy (probably through sunscreen) so nothing to see.
What an amazing day spent with our tour guide Payu! He went above and beyond to create a memorable experience for us and we are extremely grateful to him. Firstly, we forgot our cash for the park fees, so he very kindly offered to take my husband on his bike to 711 to get some. A very nice gesture that he really didn’t have to do, all of the staff in general were determined to make sure we didn’t miss out on the tour. Hong island is truly breath taking, absolute paradise! We paid extra to do the kayaks which was a great experience, although it takes slightly longer than I thought, it took around 40 minutes which I think is probably worth spending more time on the beautiful beach instead. We both loved sea eagle tours and all the staff that work there. This was our second tour with this company and we wouldn’t use anyone else, we’re looking forward to coming back to Thailand and booking with this company again in the future! Thank you so much, we won’t forget our experiences with your wonderful tour guides.
Fantastic experience with the company, became ill the night before the trip and notified Trip Store by WhatsApp who happily postponed the Trip for us. The collection and drop off all on time, Hassan and his team communicated well and were great fun and informative . I would definitely recommend this company and the trip to the Islands.
The trip to Koh Hong was very good, clear water and of course I would dive. To look at the beauty under the sea of Hong Island Good food The guide and staff are very kind. Help me take a picture
Our trip was so amazing and wonderful. The guide and his team is very kind and helpful. The Hong Beach is very beautiful and freshy. My favourite is Paradise lsland. It's very amazing.
For the Hong Island trip with this company, it was very fun. It was a happy trip. Have a travel buddy that is very cute. And most importantly, Ko Hong is very beautiful and wonderful The guide is very friendly.
My friend and I booked this tour through our hotel in Ao Nang and the price was good for it being a whole day trip. The company is well-organized and professional. All of the guides were friendly. Snacks and water were provided in addition to a decent lunch on one of our stops. We did the speedboat option and it was full but not overly crowded with people which is was good. We had a few things that were average experiences on our tour. We wanted to do kayaking and had to pay extra for it which was fine. What we didn't realize is that they send you out without a guide and it's not protected water. As in, there are speedboats zipping passed you which could flip your kayak in open water. We didn't kayak the full time allotted as a result. If you want to get the most out of kayaking in the Hong Islands, definitely book a tour that is strictly kayaking. They had a little inlet for snorkeling and we attempted it but there was no visibility and even if there was, I doubt there would be very much to see. The island we ate at for lunch was pretty and we wish we could have had more time there to swim. The final stop was supposed to be the showstopper with what they called a "paradise beach." There was barely any beach and boats took up most of it. And there was no sun at that time of the day and people everywhere. We were excited to get back to Railay Beach after the tour. Overall, this tour does offer a good sampling of the Hong Islands as well as good service but it's very surface-level. A nice day out. Probably good if you have little kids but if you want to really kayak, really snorkel or have a beautiful beach I wouldn't recommend it.
Special thanks to Hasan, He was very friendly and offered to take pictures for me everytime he saw me, which was very helpful since I was traveling solo. Also I was registered for the sea kayaking, which I learned is very different from lake kayaking and since I had no experience in sea kayaking Hasan rode with me on the kayak and took me to the blue lagoon. Which was very kind of him since the kayak option does not include a guide. I might as well been lost at sea if I had went on my own. He also took pictures of the kayak trip on his go pro which turned out amazing! Snorkeling was ok and it might have been better if it hadn’t rained the night before. Overall the tour was well organized and the scenery was beautiful especially Hong island. I would definitely recommend if you don’t mind sightseeing with groups and crowds.
Had the most incredible day on this tour. Well organised and beautiful scenery. Enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking too.
We chose this provider and booked tickets online on TripAdvisor (cheaper than buying at local kiosks) to do the Hong Island tour after the positive experience with them the day before on the 4 islands tour. All went well! The tour is really worth it as with the fast boat you can quickly see these amazing places and beaches around in the Krabi coastal area. Logistics are well planned and lunch and snacks are provided during the trip. The guide of this tour was less engaging than the one of the first day (Fay), but apart from this nothing negative to mention.
We were staying on Railay beach and this appeared to be the only tour that did not feature a Railay beach stop on its itenerary which is why we chose this tour. We also were warned that the Phi Phi island tour was the most popular and we were hoping for a bit of a quieter experience. Well... this was not quieter. The boat picked us up at 9:30 from Railay Beach, which was nice, and we were brought to a lagoon (you cannot swim even though other boats had their guests swimming). This stop appears to only be included for a photo op. From there we stopped at our first stopped and the driver expertly parked the boat in the middle of a lot of other boats seemingly fitting in a spot that we did not think possible. Being that we went in Oct. the water had a lot of jelly fish (we're assuming) as we were all stung multiple times. This was happening at Railay beach, although a bit less often, so I think it's just how it is this time of year. The swimming and snorkeling was not great here as there was a very small designated area and it was pretty packed with other tours. From here we drove about 5 minutes to another area where we anchored in the water and went for a snorkel (you are not allowed to go to shore as it is a private beach). The water was not very clear but it was still exciting to see the coral and sea urchins and fish. The two adults and two kids (8,9) in our family all loved it. The other people in our tour also seemed to enjoy it. From here we went to Pak Bia island which was where we had lunch. The lunch was a boxed lunch which included rice, a fried egg, and a chicken/vegetable mix. As a vegetarian I could only eat the rice and egg but my son and husband didn't appear thrilled with the chicken vegetable mix. They did also offer friend chicken with I hear was better. The snorkeling here was good but I'd bring a pair of water shoes as the rocks under the water were VERY slippery. Also, with eating lunch we barely had 5 minutes to explore before we had to get back on the boat. The last stop was Hong Island which was enjoyable for snorkeling. We had a lot of time here. We collected seashells but then were later told we had to dump them out as we were not allowed to take any with us (would have been nice to hear about this before we stopped but oh well!). All in all it was a good tour, relaxing to be out on the boat and seeing some amazing views. Lunch would be better with a vegetarian option as my daughter and I were both starving when we got back to our beach and it might be nice to see places that were a bit less crowded. However, it was fun and we'd recommend others to spend some time doing this tour (though we'd warn them about the negative aspects - too many people on the boat to enjoy the ride, lunch if you don't eat meat is a bummer, you can't collect shells/rocks, too many other tours at the same beaches, possible jellyfish at all the beaches, and not long enough stops at each place except Hong Island) so they knew what they were getting into).
Nice boat and friendly crew. We went for kayaking and snorkeling. Kayaking was cancelled due to wind. The snorkeling locations were moderate partly because of large crowds at all locations.
The experience was perfect. A small wait at the start but everything went extremely well, the staff was perfect! Blue waters, beautiful islands.
