Full-day Phi Phi Islands Tour With Lunch From Krabi

Great tour! There isn’t really that much to do on the islands other than lay at the beach, but still it was nice to be able to visit.

Firstly a massive thank you to our driver, our guides Farook & Steffan, the boat Captain Lah and his assistant Aib. I know with a trip like this is largely reliant on the weather, thankfully the gods were with us and it was a cloudless sky. The trip is really well organised, but even at the meet on the morning of the trip there was a little wiggle room, we were very keen to snorkel at Koh Bi Da Nok, not on the itinerary, but I asked Farook if it could be accommodated. Farook was honest and said it would be dependent on sea conditions. The speedboat was spotlessly clean and in great condition, it took little over an hour on a calm sea to reach Maya Bay, what a truly majestic location, the Thai authorities have done wonders to protect this beautiful setting. Next, and to my surprise we headed to Koh Bi Da Nok for snorkelling, a beautiful location beneath the waves with a rich variety of marine life. We then headed to the Pileh Lagoon, an impressive geographical landmark which was great to swim in, even with the many tourists also enjoying the occasion. We then passed Viking bay, famous for the nesting birds and bamboo ladders, and onto Monkey beach where we mingled with the local monkey residents. And for the last stop of the day we headed to Runtee beach, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and snorkelling at the vibrant reef. The trip was perfectly paced, the small number of us made it very relaxed. I could not recommend this trip enough, super friendly and professionally run.

My wife and I were booked this day trip as part of our honeymoon itinerary and ended up being thrilled by the experience. You may be worried that it takes too long to get to the islands from krabi or that there isn’t enough snorkeling / too much beach time but they know what they are doing! Farouk and Stefan were our guides and they were wonderful. Great energy and very knowledgeable of the area and the wildlife and always made sure we had a cold water and soda in our hand and that we were comfortable. They had snorkel gear and life jackets for everyone but you should bring your own fins if you want them. It wasn’t necessary for anywhere we went but I know some people prefer them. Also lunch on the beach was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and felt very safe and looked after throughout.

Highly recommend this tour. The boat was excellent with plenty of room, the guides Tuna and Sake were really good communicators and made us feel very welcome, the scenery and beaches were beautiful and the snorkelling was exceptional; even better than many dives.

An unforgettable experience! We were on a really great boat for a group of 15. The guides (Eki and Faruk) were super nice, friendly, and really knew their stuff. The islands we saw were mind-blowing, two snorkeling sessions, lunch on the beach (the food was actually really good)... one of those experiences you just don't want to end.

The tour was amazing. We enjoy of beaches with no one around and our guides: Tuna and Ant showed us a lot of nice places and in the end they gave us an unforgettable snorkel. Thank you very much for your attention, your interest, and of course, the wonderful gluten free food. I recommend it this tour to celiac people.

Brilliant family day with knowledgeable guides Stefan and M who really look after you and provide great snorkeling spots avoiding the crowds as best as possible. We saw black tip reef sharks which was amazing plus many other vibrant and colourful fish. We would have missed many things had it not been for Stefan and M pointing them out. Lunch on a picturesque tropical beach was delightful. Superb day, fully recommended, a big plus for us booking with Thalassa was the group was smaller, perfect for families.

Great experience with this tour. Small group, my first time snorkeling and both the guides, Stefane and Tuna took great care of me. Good food (they took care of my vegetarian requirements), adequate time at each stop, nice group - highly recommended tour overall!

Tuna was an amazing host!!! He made the trip so fun and took great care of us. The islands were beautiful and we liked the early start time that allowed us to beat many other groups. A definite plus. Lunch was delicious. There was an issue in communication with other members of our group which lead to a delay in starting our excursion. We were frustrated that we paid for a Grab car to get to the meet up location, only to then go back within meters of our hotel to pick up the other members. Perhaps when the groups are small, just provide transportation. Wasted time and money on our side.

Even though the places we visited—like Maya Bay and Phi Phi Lagoon—are far from hidden gems, our guides Tuna and Sero (I hope, I got the name right?) did a great job of staying one step ahead of the crowds. The snorkeling spots were absolutely stunning. At times, surrounded by countless colorful fish, I felt like I was inside a giant aquarium—it was truly magical. I especially appreciated that Tuna and Sero joined us in the water and pointed out unique marine life we would have likely missed on our own. For example, Tuna showed us a well-camouflaged stonefish that we probably would never have noticed otherwise. The entire tour had a relaxed and easygoing vibe. There was a good balance of moving between locations and having enough time to unwind in between. Lunch, served as a beach picnic, was both delicious and wonderfully laid-back. Huge respect to our guides Tuna and Sero for taking care of everything from start to finish—providing information, food, drinks, and a sense of adventure throughout the day. I can only imagine how much work goes into keeping everything running smoothly, yet they made it all look effortless.

Book it! Absolutely beautiful and the guides were amazing. You can tell they love what they do. They helped us get amazing photos and got in to snorkel with us and pointed out so many things we would have missed without them. They were full of information, kind, funny, and even took care of my daughter when she got sea sick so she was able to enjoy the rest of the day. Favorite tour we did!

I had an absolute blast! It was a fun trip and we stayed out in the water all day. I do highly recommend being very confident swimming in the oceans for this tour. Everyone was super helpful, accommodating and lovely.

Our family of five (two adults and three teens), loved the Phi Phi Islands tour. This excursion was one of the highlights of our trip to Thailand. The guides on the boat were fun and interactive all day. The islands were beautiful, lunch was delicious and we were able to snorkel and swim in secluded areas right off the boat. We would highly recommend this tour.

What a day! My husband and I booked this excursion as part of our honeymoon trip. It was a long day but so worth it! Tuna and Johnny were amazing hosts and we got to see a variety of places. The boat crew was also super efficient and friendly. Each stop was beautiful, and the perfect amount of time at eqch one. They also provided a delicious thai lunch right on the beach. Highlights were Maya Bay, monkeys, snorkeling and seeing sharks, feeding fish, and lots of amazing photo opps. Wonderful day- highly recommend!

We chose this tour as opposed to others because of the early start time and seeing fewer places with more time at each. Maya Beach is the highlight for most in the area and our early start time allowed us to enjoy it with fewer tourists. Our guides were exceptional and the lunch was filling.

Amazing Phi Phi islands tour that took us to Maya Bay and all of the other top spots. The tour kept great timing and beats bunch of the crowds coming from Phuket. Lunch was delicious and there was a bathroom on board. Tuna and Stefan were awesome!

We were a little apprehensive to book this tour as it’s quite a bit more expensive than many others, however we did, and it was SO worth it. It is a much smaller group than most of the other tours, taking 17 people max (only 10 of us on our day). The tour also sets off an hour earlier than the majority of the other trips and goes straight to Maya Bay (before it gets crazy busy - it was already pretty busy by the time we got there at around 9.15am). Maya Bay is a beautiful beach and we managed to get plenty of good photos there as they don’t allow boats or swimming there any more. We also saw numerous baby sharks swimming close to the beach there. After Maya Bay we did 2 snorkelling spots, swam in a lagoon, visited Monkey Bay and enjoyed a lovely Thai meal on the beach preferred by our guides Stefan & Fong (?) who were both really helpful throughout the day.

Guides were the best, especially Farooq. He was very informative. We snorkled and saw alot of starfish and a banded snake. He gave Great recommendations for what to do on other islands as well.

WOW! What a fun day! We went with a group of friends and met some new friends on the boat. The guides were energetic and immediately made us feel so welcome and excited! They went above and beyond all day long to make it a special day. The lunch was delicious as well!

Phi Phi Islands are like going to Disneyland on a holiday weekend or Lake Havasu on spring break. No peaceful pretty beaches just thousands of tourists and boats. Our crew was awesome and we could tell they felt bad but actually said it is always like that because people come from Krabi, Phuket and one other place. Definitely would not recommend. the speedboat and the snorkeling were fun and so was the picnic lunch on Bamboo Island. Otherwise I would not recommend.

This was basically a hostage situation. Tour promised island hopping lunch and snorkeling with fins included. They picked us up at the hotel in a nice bus and drove us to the marshaling point where they proceeded to to tell us that if we wanted fins we had to rent them... I didnt initially pick up on the facet that they were supposed included but during the trip I looked at the details of the tour and sure enough fins were supposed to be included. On a good note they did refund me the rental cost, but it was as if they new they had pulled the wool over my eyes. As soon as I told Nana "Hey I rented fins..." she immediately said she would refund me. They knew it was supposed to be included As to the hostage situation. When you get on the boat thats when they try to sell you on a private/separate boat ride... if you didnt pay you had to stay parked in the main boat for an hour. The snorkeling was 15 minutes long and there was nothing worth seeing. Another tour scam... dont be fooled. This one's a bust.

Everything was comfortable and enjoyable. The guides were very nice and would explain the route clearly also telling us little stories. We were lucky with the sea conditions and they led us intorno wonderful snorkiling. The food was great and we had a lot of fun.

This is one of the best tours, that I have ever completed, in my whole life!! It went way above my expectations, with 2 fabulous tour guides Unn and Em. Unn took lots of photos and also awesome videos, which he gave me for free after the tour on Whats App. They gave excellent information on all places visited and the hot lunch was really yummy! I will recommend Thalassa Tours to anyone and everyone! Five stars from me!!!

The team of Ecki, Nui and Mien were fantastic. Very flexible and accommodating to our desire to avoid crowds and focus on great snorkeling. The lunch was very good and their attitudes were great. Fun guys to hang with. Unqualified recommendation. 👍👍👍

This was an amazing day with a guide that took us skilfully to the islands while missing the majority of the crowds , he was on hand to take photos and gently guide on land without making us feel ‘herded’! Also guiding us while snorkelling to ensurie we had the best opportunity to see the fish The lunch on the beach was also delicious and prepared for us by the guide . We were lucky to have just 9 in our small group tour and the beautiful blue sky made the trip a magical memorable day .

The Phi Phi boat Tour was an amazing experience to start our Thailand journey. The speed boat was comfortable and big enough for our family and friends. We have visited plenty of islands out of which all were amazing and provided various experiences! The ship captain was a mega pro → parked the boat on places normally we did not see speed boats fit. This helped my family members to embark or disembark with ease (did not realize how important until we tried the wooden longboats). Special shout out to Ekky who personally guided our group in snorkelling, taking us to the best places to take underwater photos. Also he was really attentive to us not only on this trip but when we met him on another one as well. Very good person / guide. Definitely recommending this tour and Ekky. Trip is well organized and staff are outstanding!! Boat captain handled the docking impeccably so much so everyone cheered! Tour consisted of snorkelling and beach time, including time at a secluded bay where sharks breed! Crowded in places and lunch was picnic style on the beach!

Could be a bumpy ride. I loved it but may not be ideal if you have a bad back. Tuna and Stephan were great guides.

Wonderful visit to the great Phi phi other islands island. Our guide Honey was wonderful. She made the trip with fun and adventure. The boat was amazing. We had mesmerising views of the islands and of course Maya beach. Sunset views from Poda island was beautiful. The lunch buffet at Phi phi island was excellent with a lavish spread. Visiting these islands from Krabi rather than from Phuket was a good decision as we had less crowd.
