Pick up was on time, no problems , smooth journey, toilet on board not so great make sure you have tissues and hand wash. Was dropped off at hotel in Patong, well worth the money.

Great profesional I recomend for transfer puket ao nang and back price is good service toilet staff great Use them
Smooth experience but a lot of the seats on the ferry are broken and you have to travel over 3 boats to get to the dock with your luggage so it’s best to travel light. Overall getting from one hotel to the other was convenient with transportation included and the views were nice.
A very stress free way to travel between Krabi and Phuket. Not only was our pickup in Krabi was on time, but we also got dropped off right at our hotel in Phuket. The boat was clean and air conditioned....a definite must with Thailand's hot weather. Also, had great communications experience with this transport provider..
Unorganised and made up hop from.one vessle to another with our luggage at the end of the journey. Not conveniet to drag you luggage through 6 vessles Veey messy travel and dirty as well
Our experience with this tour operator was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Our pickup time was clearly stated as 9:45 AM via WhatsApp message from the company. We were already in the hotel lobby with all our luggage before that time. When no one showed up, I messaged them at 9:53 AM asking where the driver was. He repeatedly said he was “at the lobby,” so I sent a photo showing no one there. A few minutes later, a very angry man came walking from across a busy street, yelling at us aggressively, claiming he had been waiting since 9:30 AM. He continued yelling for several minutes, even after I showed him the WhatsApp message confirming our 9:45 pickup time. He was extremely unprofessional, hostile, and did not help us with our luggage at all, instead forcing us to cross a busy street struggling with multiple bags while he continued shouting. That alone was unacceptable—but unfortunately, the experience got worse. The boat was very run-down, and the entire 2-hour journey from Ao Nang to Rassada Pier smelled strongly of gasoline. While there were life jackets on every seat, they were covered in visible mold, which raised serious safety and hygiene concerns. Overall, this company lacks professionalism, customer service, and basic safety standards. I deeply regret not booking a private transfer instead and would not recommend this tour company to anyone.
Operator late turning up to our hotel and in very uncomfortable truck which was army style. Very poor visibility from boat and very dirty toilets.
Great service including pick up and drop off at hotels. There was a bit of confusion at embarkation as it wasn’t clear you needed to queue at the ticket office to register, despite the booking. But all good and comfortable trip.
It’s exactly what you pay for. Door-sea-door service from Ao Nang to Phuket. Ship isn’t fancy but it seems like a well run operation. Easy peasy.
Seemless transfer from Aonang to Phuket. They provided pickup and dropoff service with reasonable price. Can't ask for more
Pick up was great. Exactly as advertised. Comfortable and organized. Not handicapped assessable for those who might need it. If you have kids, you’ll want to be vigilant. Drop off was also great. Would do it again no question.
Very seamless journey. Great communication no complaints at all and by far the best way to get to and from Krabi from Phuket. However do not bring too much baggage or expect help..not a problem for me but can see how some travellers struggled
Ao Nang Princess boat is definitely an aging ferry. The old aeroplane seats that have been used are a bit broken (many are stuck in the reclined position), and generally the ferry seems a bit beat up. But we got to Ao Nang in the 1hr 50min that they told us it would take. I found the staff/crew to be friendly. At the port when you arrive just look for the sign for Ao Nang and the check-in process is pretty easy and quick so you don't really need to arrive more than 15min before departure I would say. There is some food and drink available on the ferry and at the pier. We booked this through a local agent and price included pick-up and drop off at hotels at both ends of the trip for eighteen hundred baht (two people). You WILL HAVE TO CARRY YOUR LUGGAGE ACROSS ABOUT 3 FERRIES TO LOAD AND UNLOAD. It would be a great improvement if there was a nicer way to get on and off the ferry to the pier.
Well organised good value for money. Good communication and updates. Great boat ie a proper ferry, not a long tailed boat.
one way should be by ferry (Phuket to Krabi by Road , Krabi to Phuket by Ferry), nice experience , enjoy
We had smooth and comfortable transfer from Ao Nang directly to my hotel on Patong. Highly recommend!
Way to many people and luggage in the truck during pick up Also they wanted us to pay an extra 1000 bath for the drop off at our hotel. We refuse and got drop off at the closest hotel for free wich was a 3 minutes walk... 1000 bath for someting that could be walked in 3 minutes...
We were supposed to be picked up between 0900 and 0930 but no one showed up. Tried to get hold of someone for assistance but decided we should hire our own ride due to time constraints. Around 0945 we received a ride and later we're contacted and advised the tour operator was running late and should be at the hotel around 0955. Too much anxiety waiting for ride to make it to ferry on time.
This ferry transfer from Ao Nang to Phuket was an absolute disaster! It was poorly organized from start to finish and ended up taking hours longer than advertised. Here's the breakdown of this travel nightmare: Pick-up Chaos: My pick-up window was between 2pm and 2:30pm. I waited patiently, bags packed, until 2:45pm before they finally arrived. Not a great way to start the journey. Disorganized Departure: Once at the ferry jetty, the process was chaotic. It took ages to get everyone sorted, and the boat ended up leaving a full 45 minutes behind schedule. Extended Journey: The ferry trip itself took much longer than advertised, meaning we didn't arrive in Phuket Old Town until 7:30pm – already several hours behind schedule. Minivan Mishap: Arriving in Phuket, the promised hotel transfer fell apart. The tour company didn't have minivans for a direct transfer, so they crammed us all onto a large bus. This bus then proceeded to completely bypass my hotel and take us on a scenic (and entirely unnecessary) 30-minute detour to the other side of the beach and the bus terminal. Double Transfer: Finally, at the bus terminal, they shuffled us into another minivan for a "direct" hotel transfer. "Direct" in this case apparently meant another 20-minute drive before I finally reached my hotel – at a staggering 9:40pm! Avoid this company if you value your time and sanity! The entire transfer was poorly managed, took far too long, and left me exhausted and frustrated. Look elsewhere for a ferry transfer from Ao Nang to Phuket – there are definitely better options out there!
Driver picked us up on time. A little squished in the truck, but otherwise good. Good boat ride. We left around 15 minutes late and arrived around 45 minutes late. The driver from the pier in Phuket did a fine job and got us to our hotel.
Easy booking and good communication with tour operator. It was a little confusing at the harbor in Krabi but it all came together. The boat was clean although the Video monitors didn't work.
Terrible trip. Boat was over 30 minutes late into the port, extremely dated boat and treat like children. We had 4 different boats and changed boats twice in the middle of the ocean with luggage. Would not recommend.
First of all the ferry was 45min late because of 2 people. They tell you to come at least 30min before and then they let 200 people wait for 2 people for 45min. It’s tinny port so the moment you enter your pier for boarding is there. Don’t even bother to come earlier. Second thing, after departure they told us that we will stop at privet island to drop some people off. That’s not written anywhere!! After contacting the company, they just kept on repeating “normally if passenger then boat stop at Railay, if no passenger then boat don’t stop”, with their poor English. Pretty much useless and corrupted like most of the agencies here.
Picking up more passengers at sea from long tail boats and motor boats. Kind staff assisting us to alight the boat once at port.
Smooth without issues, driver came a bit late but managed to catch up to boat everything was fine and pleasant.
The driver was late 45 minutes. We missed the ferry. Bad experience. Had to board smaller boat and after 30 minutes, in the middle of sea to switch from first boat to ferry.
Truck Arrived very late to pick us up from hotel, which was very anxiety provoking!!! Got to pier, had to transfer from 1 ferry to another to get to the ferry we were travelling to Phuket, when we eventually got on the ferry informed that we would need to pay an additional 200 baht each if we wanted to go on the top deck!!! We choose not to!!! We felt like caged animals & claustrophobic, as there was very little space to wander in the fresh air & capture the sea views. The ferry was anticipated to take 2.5 hours but took 4.5 hours, stopping off at sea to pick up from speedboat & longboats, however, these passengers were directed upstairs, no sight of paying the extra 200 but??? No complimentary coffee or water!! AoNang travel definitely not as good as Phi Phi cruiser, who are far more organised & professional
I'd read a few reviews and got a 2ish hour travel time, so thought I'd be landing in Phuket at 5ish. Not the case. Ferry didn't leave till after 3.30pm and took 3 and a half hours, didn't arrive till after 7 then over an hour for transfer to hotel arriving after 8pm. After getting picked up around 2pm this was over a 6 hour journey, soooo leave plenty of time for this travel 👍 The ferry itself was good, a can of beer and crisps available to buy on board, you can sunbathe on the top deck if you wish. The sunset pics as your coming into Phuket harbor are amazing. All in all a good trip, but, leave plenty of time for it 🙏
It was like riding an airplane — on the sea instead of in the air. Everyone was very helpful with two elderly ladies; one with slight mobility issues.
Seamless efficiency from pick up ferry trip and then drop off courteous operators also at every stage of the journey thank you
An easy way to transfer between Phuket and Ao Nang, however it is not very comfortable and the amenities on board minimal and very tired. They allow smoking anywhere on the upper deck with even the staff smoking in the stairwells. Additionally people throw there cigarette butts over board into the water which is a marine national park. Very poor control by the operator. If you have a group of people I'd recommend getting a minivan, it will be cheaper more comfortable and you will see more on the way and be able to stop where you like for breaks. We have driven the route many times and thought we would try the ferry for the experience and compare, needless to say we will be driving from now on
Communication and pick up went smoothly as the tour operator let me know via WhatsApp on pick up from my hotel. The ferry itself left a bit to be desired as the fumes from the gasoline were overwhelming. Spent most of my time on the deck to get fresh air. Trip was quick and staff was helpful in directing and with luggage as mine was a bit heavy.
It is a great way to travel from the Port of Ao Nang to get to the mainland of Phuket. The ride is relaxing and economical. It's a good value.
Comfortable transfer from hotel to the pier. The operator is very responsive with responses to your queries which is extremely helpful. The boat itself was comfortable. On reaching Phuket, the bus that takes us to our hotel was easily available and we barely had any confusions or wait time. All in all, I recommend the service if you’re looking for a comfortable transfer from krabi to Phuket without any hiccups.
Awesome ferry ride, customer service was great and hotel pick up and drop off is intended in price. Well worth the money.
This company was very efficient and communicated with me frequently so I always knew that our ferry passage and hotel transfers were secure! I recommend highly!
The view of the water and the islands is very impressive. It is a beautiful view. Very nice scenery.
we arrived at phuket pier, driver picked us up and a few others. we rode for about a half hour and he started letting people off, we got to the next stop and yelled my hotel and another couples hotel, I asked him where ir=t was and he said walk straight 1 minute and turn left its there. so we walked threw a market and found an info booth and she said you are very far away to walk, she got us a tutuk ride for 300 baht and it took another 20 minutes to arrive at our hotel. I would like my money back plus the 300 baht for the ride that our incompentent driver didnt finish poor service and unsafe having people wander the streets dragging luggage.
Pickup from our hotel was literally a truck and over 30 minutes late. The boat was a further 20 minutes late departing, and the trip then took over 3.5 hours, as it detoured to Raleigh to pick up more passengers (over half an hour there), before finally proceeding to Phuket. The boat is old, but the seats comfortable. The toilets mean while are APPALLING, FILTHY & DISGUSTING - reminiscent of travel 40 years ago!! In summary, it was a cheap way to go from Aonang to Phuket - would we do it again -DEFINITELY NOT!
good boat trip but very long time in taxi at arrival ... i am sure you can do better ;) just very long from peer to hotel
Very nice big ferry from Ao Nang to Rassada Pier along with pick up and drop off transfers. This is value for money and good memorable experience one must do of sailing through andaman sea. Better than road trip. Totally recommend. Thanks Viator.
They got us there but the ferry was cancelled and we didn’t find out until we were already in the transfer. We got several conflicting stories as to the ferry cancellation (accident, roughy weather) and we’re eventually bundled into minibuses to go by land rather than boat. A second pickup sent more people to our bus than could fit in so was all rather chaotic and people were understandably stressed about making their flights, reservations etc. Worst bit for us was the lack of space, legroom, inability to move around in such a full small van which was why we’d picked to go by ferry rather than van, but they did get us there about an hour later than we’d expected
Dirty boats. Stank of diesel or MGO. Need to modernise the fleet. Cleaning should be better too. It is a cheap way of getting from Phuket to Ao nang.
Smooth travel!! Taxi pickup at your hotel directly to ferry and then another taxi directly to your final destination. Everyone is friendly, courteous, helpful and kind. Comfy ferry seats and spacious clean taxi with air conditioning. Awesome deal , it’s a bargain
<p>Good trip very helpful staff, transfer in Phuket went well</p>
<p>Im totally OK with getting what I paid for, but dont like when Im lied to and what you claim to offer is all propaganda. To start with I was told to be at the lobby of my hotel 15 minutes before pick up time, they arrived 45 minutes late.<br/> Then about 40 of us packed into an old truck meant for 15 passengers. The ride was quite bumpy.<br/> At the dock boarding was another mess. There was no one to help you with luggage, the so called ferry turned out to be a rundown boat in urgent need of a renovation. The seats were falling apart, it had a rotten smell inside and they oversold tickets so many passengers had to stand or sit on floor for this one hour trip.<br/> Upon arrival it was total caos. Staff had no idea which Vans were going where and no one seem to speak english. They seemed more interesting on getting tips than actually helping. Just the boarding process took 40 minutes. When we finally got into town the driver pretty much left me on my own on some corner to fend for myself with my bags. The reason for me booking this transfer was because it was door to door not to be left in the middle of a town I dont know and being someone disabled no consideration was given. I finally found my hotel about 5 blocks away. The whole experience was stressful, disorganized and totally not worth it. All I ask is for them to do their part of the deal and not simply promise stuff they cant do.</p>
Very good organization from our hotel in krabi then to the hotel in Phuket. The boat very comfortable and very clean
Also rechnet wirklich mit mind.
