A truly lovely morning! From the pickup to the end of the day everything was really well organised, we even ended up having a private boat just the two of us. We saw so many beautiful islands on the boat and got up close on the kayak. The caves and jungle views were stunning, and cute monkeys were a bonus. The staff were lovely, Anat was the best guide, and Safeel was a great captain. We even got to swim at the islands. 10/10 would highly recommend, the morning tour especially as by 1pm it was incredibly hot even on the boat.
The guide did not issue life vests and the kayaks had obviously not been checked. The kayak we had was faulty causing water to enter the cavity of the boat, this caused us to fall behind the group, the kayak also became unbalanced and we capsized, with no one around we had to fend for ourselves in the middle if the Andaman sea, which was terrifying. There was only 1 guide who was at the front of the group with us that far behind and out of site we had to swim whilst dragging the kayak, paddles and our bag whilst shouting for help!! Luckily we are fairly good swimmers otherwise this could have been fatal!!!! Worst trip we have been on in Thailand and we have been on many!!! So upset and shaken up by the whole experience
We had a great day exploring islands and mangroves, boat and equipment was great. However, we booked a full day and the other couple on our tour had booked a full tour. Therefore we were automatically on the full day without being told. Luckily we didn’t need to be anywhere otherwise this would have been a big problem. Our guide and boat driver were great, even though there were some language barriers. A fair amount of fitness and mobility is needed for this tour, you will need to kayak for an hour and getting in and out of the boat into the ocean is not very accessible for small children or elderly.
Great trip. Only 3 people so very easy. Great young guide. Great fun so would recomend. Lots of monkeys and the sea caves were awesome.
More time on a long tail boat than anything else, but it was still a good way to spend an afternoon seeing something different. The guide had limited English, so was a bit hard to get any details, but he communicated the basics well. Monkey feeding was a highlight, as were the views.
The kayaking and caves were exceptional. I would recommend doing this experience. However, it was a stressful day with this company. I signed up for a half day, but the driver/owner "upgraded" me (switched me without telling me) to full day trip. This was because I was the only person who signed up for a half day, not full day, and he put me on that boat without sharing this information. Once I discovered this, it was very stressful and I had to switch boats to another company to get back to shore on time.
Great tour. Stunning scenery, especially the first island you stop at. Skull Island, so cool. The guides were lovely lads, very animated & talkative with great English. Highly recommended. Bring lots of suncream!
THIS IS A SCAM. There isn’t a single person who speaks English to explain what we’re seeing, which is not much because the tour constitute mostly in being 4hours on a long tail boat. The first “island” is only some sand in the middle of the ocean with nothing to see. The second is some holes in a rock. The third is where you stop to do kayak for about 30mins. Then you go back on the boat again . There was suppose to be water included in the tour, employees don’t have water to distribute. They don’t speak English, they only speak Thai. Worst tour ever. Definitely don’t recommend unless you want to waste your time.
The Tour was very suitable for our needs with a 5 and 7 year old. They enjoyed the kayaking the most. We drove into amazing caves. As well feeding the monkey was interesting. The tour guide was friendly. At the entrance we hat to pay additional 20 bath per person, why ever. We hat a good time.
Beautiful long boat ride + kayaking, beautiful water, respect the monkeys, kind guides, Kup-kuhn-ka!
Everything was like on the pictures and more. They came at my hotel on time and gave me a wonderful experience... We would recommend this adventure to everybody.
A great tour and our guide was brilliant, friendly, very knowledgeable about the area. Loved the kayaking and seeing the monkeys. Our kids loved it.
Best tour in all of Thailand by far! Guys knowledgable. Took us to quiet spots, took photos for us, had a good relationship with monkeys and knew them. Have us food and drink! Great value for money 🙌🏼
Vers Nice. I was alone with my two children 8 and 10 years. Everything was perfect : mangroves, beaches, food, kayaking. We had a very good time. Thank you.
Fantastic day, great guide. There was just the right amount of kayaking then monkey experience at the mangrove was captivating. Definitely recommended!
We had a great guide. Enjoyed the trip to the kayaks. Had a quick paddle to a cave and then a beach. Back to the boat for a fresh snack, then fed some monkeys. It was a great day!
If you do one thing on this island, go on one of these trips with Rainbow Tours. We have made some incredible memories on this trip. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 11 and 9). We were really well looked after by our tour guide Cham (sorry -I have probably misspelt his name.) He was so friendly and accommodating making sure we saw all the wildlife we wanted to see, extending the tour by half an hour to ensure we had. The highlights were kayaking round the stunning islands and for the kids it was without a doubt the monkeys! The tour on the longboat allowed us to see mud skippers, Brahminy kites and White bellied Eagles. Such a special day.
Nice adventure of seal kayaking, riding through the mangroves, and swimming. Did a little snorkeling but the water was cloudy. Fed monkeys in the boat to fee also. The tour guides were very nice. A little limited on their English, but they did fine. It was well worth it to do this tour
I made this trip with my 5 year old child. The guides were very friendly. The ride with the long-tail boat was very nice. First we visited an extremely small island. But this was not very special. After that we went to the gorilla island where the rock on that island looked like a huge gorilla face. We didn´t climped up there as I was unsure, if it´s save enough for my child. But the others told me that it was fantastic. Then we ate some fruits on the boat and went to Talapeng. to start the kajaking tour to the cave where our tour guide sang a very nice Thai song for us to show us the acoustics of the cave. On our way back we where feeding some of the cheecky monkeys.
Really nice excursion. It had everything we expected. Really nice to first go in the mangrove and then on with the boat excursion to the island and kayaks. Got to see caves and a beach to ourselves for swimming. Then back and watch more monkeys. Can really be recommended
A nice excursion, picked up at the agreed time. First a longtail boat ride through the mangrove swamps to take us out to the beach where our canoes were waiting. Incredibly beautiful nature and beautiful caves. Very relaxing
Mega relaxed tour. Guide was very cool. Got fruit and water. Monkeys were very friendly there were individual monkeys lured onto the boat and you could take cool pictures.
Worth seeing, but also partly demanding. The climbing is not to be underestimated. I had my 5 year old son with me and was very challenged. (not recommended for children at that age) All in all, however, nice.
First to get to the island it takes 2:30 from the hotel. There are no guides who speak English, only in Thai. So you would have no explanation for the islands. No staff members distribute water (even if included). It is a wooden boat: there is no toilet. So no access to a toilet for the whole excursion. Besides, it was supposed to last 4 hours, but it lasted 6 hours with all the transport (endless!!!). Regarding the islands 😂: a real joke! The first is an island of sand: a sandbank. It bares nothing to see!!! The second is a large rock in the water. We observe him on board the boat that keeps pitching! Still the “island” looks like all the other islands on the way. There is nothing to see yet. Haaaa the island where you can kayak 😒.... Very little kayaking! If you don’t want to waste your precious travel time: avoid this excursion!
The visit of the 1st island (island) is irrelevant. Too much boat time to then go to see an island from afar (shaped like a skull) and very little kayaking.
Was nice a lot considering especially the monkeys are nice to see Boat sailing. Was also exciting and fun to do. Mangrove could use a little longer
We chose this activity to explore the surroundings of the island and we were not disappointed It is a family affair with adorable people Throughout the journey the staff always had an eye on us an explanation of the local fauna and flora. We loved seeing monkeys so close and the kayak tour was very fun. The water was warm perfect for a real feeling of “alone in the world” I highly recommend going with your eyes closed
Very nice guides! It was really fun, I can only recommend it. We saw monkeys and were able to hold them on our shoulders and the boat trip was great too.
Thank you for kindly refunding me I could not make this excursion following a scam I was asked to pay a second time once arrived on the site and more expensive ..
