Unacceptable Experience and Discriminatory Behavior - Our stay at Villa Chacha was completely ruined by the appalling behavior of the front desk staff. The receptionist was exceedingly rude, unhelpful, and displayed clear, unacceptable bias against Indian guests. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with complete disrespect. We were forced to wait for over two hours past our check-in time without any valid reason or apology. Whenever we approached the desk with simple questions or requests for assistance, the receptionist ignored us or responded with blatant hostility. It was painfully evident that this poor treatment was targeted, as Indian guests were treated with deliberate coldness and disrespect while others were not. No guest should ever be made to feel unwelcome or discriminated against based on their nationality. I strongly advise against staying at Villa Chacha until the management takes immediate action regarding their staff's conduct.

What is the point to this hotel? The hotel is in the Thai equivalent of a USA strip mall, with a main road behind it, no shops/eateries visitors would want to use near by and a beach you do not want to swim in. The hotel is close to the pier which takes you to Railay beach, a location which I do recommend staying in, and where you will find a lot of better accommodation for less money. The decor was tired, with some unique taste in art being scattered through the building. The bathrooms were dark and not well ventilated, with our shower falling off the wall during the stay. We did not eat on site as the food looked like it was mostly made off site, frozen and imported, and it cost significantly more than outside venues. Don't waste your money, stay elsewhere
The villa offers a wonderfully quiet beach front stay, perfect for relaxation. Mainly 2 changes are required that is bigger pool for swimming and better service. The restaurant serves a good food. The best part is the shuttle service to Ao Nang beach, which is very convenient.
⭐ 1 Star Very disappointing experience at Villa Cha Cha Beach Front Resort. We stayed here on 4-5 June 2026 and booked 2 Junior Suite rooms for our family of 5 adults, 1 infant, and 1 child. From the beginning, the property was full of mosquitoes, making it impossible to sit comfortably anywhere. The hotel was also not maintained properly and looked dirty. The room conditions were also poor. One of the rooms had no proper hot water because the electrical switch kept tripping. In another room, the air conditioner was barely cooling despite the hot weather. Even though we booked large Junior Suite rooms, the comfort and facilities were far below expectations. The worst part was the behavior of the receptionist on checkout day. We politely requested just one extra hour (until 12 PM) because we were travelling with a 6-month-old baby and a 6-year-old child and our luggage was still not packed. Instead of showing basic hospitality and understanding, she spoke very rudely and repeatedly threatened to call the police and inform immigration authorities. I have travelled to many countries and stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced such disrespectful treatment. Even though there were vacant rooms available and the hotel’s check-in time is 2 PM, we were forced to pay an additional 1,000 THB for a short extension. We paid only to avoid further arguments and harassment. What shocked us most was the complete lack of hospitality. A hotel should focus on guest comfort and service, especially when families with small children are involved. Unfortunately, the staff’s attitude made us feel unwelcome throughout the checkout process. This hotel seriously needs to improve its cleanliness, maintenance, air-conditioning, hot water facilities, and most importantly, customer service. Tourists come to Thailand expecting hospitality and respect, not threats and unnecessary charges. I would not recommend this property to families or international travelers. One of the worst hotel experiences we have had.
⭐ 1-Star Review – Absolute Disaster, Avoid at All Costs Villa Cha Cha calling itself a 4-star hotel is an insult to the hospitality industry. Shockingly basic hospitality standards are missing, and this is easily one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room for 4 nights and wanted to run away after the very first night. Unfortunately, the hotel flatly refused any refund, forcing us to stay and endure what turned into a nightmare of a vacation. This was meant to be a special anniversary trip, and it was completely ruined. I paid almost ₹22,000 per night for this so-called Deluxe Sea View category. At this price, you expect comfort, cleanliness, privacy, and basic courtesy. Instead, you get an overpriced, outdated, poorly managed property with zero hospitality mindset. For this amount, I could have easily stayed in a real five-star hotel. The rooms are old, tired, and badly maintained — and this is their “deluxe” category. The air conditioning barely works most of the time, making the room uncomfortable and humid. Housekeeping is in complete shambles. They come and “make” the room, but the mud on the floor remains untouched. Bedsheets had stains, and on multiple days face towels were not provided at all. Basic cleanliness is missing. Drinking water is restricted to two small bottles per person per day, which is ridiculous — especially when traveling with an infant. Even at the restaurant, drinking water is not served unless you ask or pay. The room lacked basic tea and coffee essentials. When I explained that my baby cannot consume milk powder and requested proper milk, I was told that nothing is complimentary and that I would have to pay even for infant milk. They even charge for an extra key card — unbelievable at this price point. The breakfast is horrible — limited, low quality, and nowhere near 4-star standards. The hotel is obsessive and inflexible with timings. 11:00 AM means exactly 11:00 AM, with zero flexibility. One incident sums up the attitude perfectly: I asked for one packet of jam because it had run out on my table. The breakfast buffet had just closed moments earlier. I was met with complete disdain and rudeness and told flatly, “Closed. Sorry.” No courtesy, no effort, no basic human decency — over something as trivial as a packet of jam. Checkout is just as hostile. Checkout time is strictly 11:00 AM. We requested a 30-minute extension till 11:30 AM and were outright refused. We were told we would be charged 1,000 Baht even if we stayed one minute past 11, and this was communicated rudely and aggressively. The staff are rude, dismissive, and say no to everything. There is zero service culture and no basic courtesy anywhere in this property. The location is terrible — far from the main Ao Nang area, inconvenient, and misleadingly marketed. There is no beach access at all. This is a backwater property, not a beach resort. And the final absurdity: the bathtub in the Deluxe Sea View room is placed on a completely open balcony, open from all sides and facing directly toward the reception area. Zero privacy. Using it feels like being on display. Do not get fooled by the photos, marketing, or reviews. This place is overpriced, outdated, poorly maintained, and openly hostile to guests. If you value your money, your time, or your peace of mind — DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
