We had a wonderful five days here in September. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the views are amazing! The only things I would slightly like to have been better were the bed quality and the water pressure in the shower/bathtub. Other than those things, the room was spacious and well cleaned. The 3 pools on site are very luxurious and give lots of shade and privacy if needed. The beach access was very nice as well. Overall, we'd definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Sand Sea Resort. The hotel is beautiful, especially in the evening, and the atmosphere is really relaxing. The staff were very helpful and flexible. Because of changes to our flights, we had to adjust our stay dates, and they helped us with everything. We had also prepaid for an airport transfer that we couldn’t use because we landed at a different airport, and they kindly allowed us to use that amount toward our stay instead. We really appreciated the service and how accommodating everyone was. We would happily come back and definitely recommend this place!
The Best place to stay in Railay! The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming. We stayed in a spacious and clean room where we could even spot a cute, gentle monkey family! The resort features 3 clean swimming pools, including one with a fantastic sunset view. The location is simply unbeatable. Right in front of the resort on Railay West Beach, you get a breathtaking view of the iconic limestone cliffs—you can swim during high tide and enjoy exploring the mudflats during low tide. On the other side, the resort is located right near the path leading to Phra Nang Cave on the East side. If we ever return to Railay, we will definitely stay here again!
The hotel is not a resort, food quality is below average for their included breakfast. Powdered fruit drinks, some fruit, chicken sausages, etc. Food that you might get in USA hospitals more like it. Rooms need major updating, a lot of mosquitoes get into the room & wished they had repellent as air freshener in rooms to reduce this issue. Complementary Water bottles is limited to only the rooms, you need to purchase it if you want water. You have no shuttle/boat service to leave their property unless you book a tour with them to hop smaller islands. You cannot visit other nearby towns because their is no transportation provided by the hotel. The property is beautiful, grounds are maintained daily. Better friendlier service needs to be provided by staff. I would not return to their property in future, I felt hostage & limited with activities, that they should provide if they consider themselves a resort. Activities should be included, and not an extra charge.
A perfect destination to truly unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sand and Sea Resort at Railay Beach offers the kind of laid-back charm where you can simply spend your entire day by the beach, soaking in the views and the vibe. One of the highlights is the proximity to the famous Princess Cave Beach, and even trying out some basic rock climbing nearby—it adds a touch of adventure to an otherwise relaxing stay. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. It genuinely felt like the team wasn’t just running a business, but was deeply invested in creating memorable experiences for their guests. That warmth made a big difference. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, blending seamlessly with nature. It’s quite special to see wildlife like dusky leaf monkeys and monitor lizards within the property—they coexist peacefully as long as you respect their space, which actually adds to the unique charm of the place. The food was good, the ambiance was serene, and overall, this resort turned out to be the most memorable part of my 12-day Thailand trip. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a mix of relaxation, nature, and a bit of adventure.
