If you’re looking for a great spot just a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of central Ao Nang, this is it! While fly-in travelers will definitely want to rent a scooter to zoom around, this resort was an absolute dream for our road trip crew driving in from Malaysia—parking was an absolute breeze and always available. We booked three rooms to comfortably fit the whole family (one for my wife and me, and two for the kids), and we were so impressed by how sparkling clean everything was. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. They are incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and always greeting you with the biggest smiles. Our kids are notorious for oversleeping, and the team was always so patient and helpful, coming to our rescue to unlock the doors whenever the kids slept right through our knocks! To top it all off, the property features a gorgeous swimming pool that looks right out onto a breathtaking mountain backdrop, plus a handy gym on-site. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The rooms were nice and clean. In the 69 the ac in the living room didn’t work well. It was a bit hot. Beds were comfortable. And we had a wonderful view from our room. The pool area needs some work but still had a decent swim. Staff courteous and helpful.
I would recommend the 2 bedroom type, worth the price. Unfortunately the room cleanness is not good since many furniture in the room looks old and some wallpaper torn out. My bathroom can’t close the door and needs my friend to help open it from the outside, also my bedroom can’t lock the door.
This hotel was ok upon first glance, but the more I stayed in the room the worse it got. Firstly, our room was visibly worn, with a few dirty parts for example the kitchenette cupboard seemed to leak this brown substance all over the counter, there was mould in lots of places and the mirrors and wardrobes didn’t seem to have been wiped clean before we got in the room. Moreover, the kitchenette was pointless because they don’t give you anything to use for it? I’m not sure what the point is, there were cupboards but nothing in them, not even a cloth for the kitchen sink? The toilet got blocked whilst we stayed there as well which wasn’t ideal and the cleaners never “made up” our room like any other hotel, all they did was take the bins out and gave us more toilet roll and water. Not that you have to make the bed for me every day but one time it looked as if the cleaner had half made the bed and then left it unfinished which was a little bit strange. The sink also doesn’t drain very well either and the pillows were not very comfortable (but that’s just personal preference). The balcony doors also didn’t lock and the aircon unit flooded the balcony. Not value for money at all.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Phu Dhala Residences, clean room, comfortable mattresses and pillows, slightly noisy AC but after first night we’ve got used to it. The only thing I’d like to mention is a poor service, we were staying for 7 days, and our room was properly cleaned only 2 times, not every day as they mentioned upon arrival, looks like they didn’t have enough staff. But again overall I think it’s a good place to stay with friendly staff and a nice location.
