We had a lovely stay here, breakfast altjough a little cold if you weren't there early was good, fresh juices and hot coffee available. Lunch and dinner cant really say too much as we didnt eT here much during our stay as the restaurant didn't have very clear opening times. What we did eat there though was good. Lots of stairs and the cabins are spacious, could do with a few updates and repairs for example some mattresses for sun loungers and a fre handrails. More sun loungers by the pool would be a great addition. Scooter rental was great if you get chance and can brave the bumpy track till you get inland its totally worth the ride you will not be disappointed. Stunning beach and views of other islands nice spot for sunset watching. We had a lovely time here.

There is no room service in this hotel, which may not be an issue for many guests as most people come here for peace and relaxation. However, it is important to note that there are around 150–200 small steps between the beach and the road, which can be quite difficult, especially for Indian travelers or families. Vegetarian food options are very limited, so it is better to carry ready-to-eat food items with you. I am also sharing map of resort and boat services card
We stayed at this hotel for 15 days and overall we were very satisfied with the service. The hotel is well designed, with a beautiful pool area, a lovely beach and sea, and a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful. A special mention goes to San, who truly feels indispensable to this hotel. His English is more than sufficient, and he is always ready to solve any problem with kindness, professionalism, and a calm attitude. That being said, future guests should know that renting a motorbike is almost necessary to explore the island. The road leading to the hotel includes about one kilometer of quite technical riding. During our stay, we saw many inexperienced tourists fall and get injured, as the scooters provided are not always well suited to the road conditions. Riding here really requires some experience. Another point is the restaurant: the food is not bad, but fairly standard, and in our opinion the prices are quite high. On the positive side, being able to pay by credit card is convenient. One more small challenge is that the bungalows are located on a hillside, which means there are many stairs. This was not a problem for us, but it could be difficult for older guests. Room cleanliness and the design of the rooms deserve full marks — everything was very well done. Overall, a great stay in a beautiful and peaceful place.
Very mixed experience. The resort itself is really beautiful, the pool and beach are very nice, the rooms are also good. Breakfast is well done. There are monkeys that will come visit once in a while and the island itself is really nice too. The staff is friendly and tries to help as much as they can, we had a small scooter accident and they handled the repairs and bill for that very well. However there are a few things that really turned the experience sour. We had a dispute about our booking, we rented a family room but instead got two small rooms connected over a balkony. This was not what we expected or needed but we could not resolve it because the staff were unable to help us in any way and referred to a manager that was not present and the booking platform that we used. So we paid for a second room that we didn't use. The prices in the restaurant are pretty obscene. 100 baht for a large bottle of water, 250 for a standard Thai dish. Luckily there cheaper options to eat on the same beach. The last stretch of road to the resort is really bad, a very rugged dirt road that is tough to ride with a scooter. You either need good skills, a taxi for 300 Baht or a 30 minute hike to get to the main road of the island. And finally on our departure day they forgot to order us a taxi as requested so we barely got to our ferry in time. So all in all Koh Puh Jum is great, the ocean beach is great if you got some skills riding a scooter, but we can not recommend this resort.
We enjoyed our stay here. It’s an adventure even to reach because of the track. you arrive in a beautiful jungle resort, lush and green with monkeys around. Beware if you are in bungalow 24, lock yourself because door is a bit broken, a monkey tried twice to open the door even when we were inside 🤣 Very charming cottages, comfortable and spacious. beach access with sunbeds and canoe provided by resort, clean pool.. It was what we were looking for, it’s a change a scenery and peaceful. Don’t come here for WiFi connection or a perfect room but to recharge yourself with nature surroundings ! We also enjoyed the jazz music playlist of the restaurant, relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was really nice, often some freshly pressed juice. Restaurant is good but sometimes a bit disappointing because small portions or pricy (a mango sticky rice is 180baths so almost 5€.. it’s 100bath at the restaurant next door). You can walk to a few other restaurant, next door very good or On Lee restaurant. Staff is helpful and tries their best (special thanks to Sun) ! If you want a massage or a taxi, ask them, it can be organised. A few things to improve: - mattresses for sunbeds - more sunbeds around pool - repairs : massage hutt and its stairs, finish the pathway to the restaurant, door of bungalow 24.. - sometimes random things are found around the property, could be more thoroughly cleaned (dirty gloves, towel or some trash visible from the cottage) Overall it was a really good experience we will come back !
