First of all, I have to say that Koh Jum is pure magic. It was the first stop of our honeymoon, and after reading so many great reviews, we decided to stay at Koh Jum Beach Villas. Even with high expectations, I can honestly say it was far better than I ever imagined. The villas are simply incredible — right in front of the beach, with stunning views, amazing facilities, and a level of peace and tranquility that is hard to describe. It was the perfect place to completely switch off and relax. I’m not sure if it was because we were visiting at the end of the tourist season, but it felt like we had the beach and the villas almost entirely to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. The staff were absolutely wonderful — so friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. I can’t remember the name of the girl at reception, but she was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. She was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. I also want to mention Juan, the Brazilian guy who looked after us during breakfast and one of the dinners we had there. He was fantastic — so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Honestly, this has been one of the most relaxing, authentic, and soul-refreshing places I have ever visited in my life. It’s one of those rare places that truly helps you recharge and reconnect with what matters. I would recommend it to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and a special experience — although selfishly, I hope it never becomes overcrowded like so many other places, because right now it truly feels like paradise on earth. A huge thank you to the whole team at Koh Jum Beach Villas. You are all amazing and made our honeymoon unforgettable.

Everything about this place is at an incredibly high standard. The location and views are stunning, offering the kind of silence that’s hard to find. The villa was spotless, and the cleanliness throughout the resort was consistent and impressive. The staff provides exceptional service—professional and attentive, yet they give you total privacy. Even the food was fresh and delicious. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking for a quiet, premium getaway without the crowds.
I didn't stay here but I came for two early morning 8-9 yoga classes during my stay on Ko Jum. The teacher Marcella was excellent and I was lucky enough to have a 1:1 class with her on the second day as it was so quiet. She was really knowledgeable and was able to tailor the class to my ability and needs. I felt like I learned a lot. If you are not staying at the hotel you can book the day before and the price is 530 THB per class.
Stayed here in April 2025. This was my review on booking.com…. It’s simply a very nice villa. No denying how lovely it’s been put together. Great private pool, and amazing bedrooms. You feel very spoilt, and remote. Some areas i felt that they could do better - Breakfast was extra, and should have been included for the price of the villa. Despite it being extra for the breakfast it was was not a very good breakfast and really lets the high end feel of the property down. We stayed in 3 properties on this trip and this was the only disappointing breakfast, and the only one that charged extra. The other two properties we stayed at breakfast was included. Breakfast here also had limited options. Also if you then want a cappuccino that is extra. Lunch and dinner, was generally good. But very limited options if you are staying for more than a few days. That said when we had dinner in the restaurant on our first evening, and of the 4 mains 2 we really should have sent back, but you don’t want to complain and make a fuss. One of the dishes had lots of pineapple in it and it was not mentioned on the menu. (my wife dislikes pineapple in savoury dishes). The other dish that we should have sent back, the noodles were clumped together in a solid brick, rather than strings of noodles and while I was annoyed with myself for not sending this one back, at the time I really didn’t want to make a fuss (however I would also argue that a kitchen that sends out noodles in a block needs to have a good think about their quality control). Note that in April, Koh Jum pretty much closes down, with lots of the local restaurants closed…. That said we did venture out for dinner and had some excellent food in the dock. Location wise, while next to the beach you did not feel like you were actually on the beach as the property is slightly set back, and in the tree line. Having travelled to Thailand and Koh Jum in years gone by, and stayed in beach huts, this doesn’t have the same feeling of being on the beach. Still it’s a lovely location. We did have a lovely time here though!
What an amazing holiday we had as a group of 6 friends here. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom villas with a private pool that we got full use of. This is a very remote and chill island so this is a place to relax - if you’re someone who needs to keep busy with excursions or activities everyday, this isn’t the island for you. The food and service at this resort was exceptional. While the cost for food and drink isn’t as cheap as Thailand is renowned for, the value for the quality you get is certainly there. This was truly paradise found.
