Lets Go Diving With Pickup From Hotel

Not suitable for a family at all. We were told before hand that this beginner lesson would be ok for out family with my daughter aged 11 and son aged 8. We were picked up from the hotel at 15:15 and driven to the other side of the island which we arrived at about an hour and a half later. No briefing, just given the scuba gear to get on and away we go. Problem was they only have adult tanks which are far too heavy for kids and on the heavy side for my wife. We were then asked for an extra 40 euros for photos which I begrudgingly paid and made our way to the sea on a public beach avoiding sunbather’s as we trudged down to the shore. Quick picture and demonstration of how to breathe and away we went. In total we had 4 children and 2 adults in our group with one instructor who was concentrating on taking the photos. My wife got out after 2 minutes with my son as he couldn’t control himself and the weight in the water stating it was dangerous which I for once agreed with. This left myself and my daughter who I constantly had to monitor and hold onto including pushing her down under the water. The other two kids had to be joined by their father in a snorkel and flippers to help them while the “instructor” carried on taking the pictures. Scuba lasted an hour and the car journey there and back about two hours in total with the lady driving, texting and shouting on her phone the whole time. Not worth £100 never mind over £300 for the whole family. Avoid at all costs. I would have requested a refund if there was any decent level of communication but there was not. Anyway, lesson learned (not scuba) and hopefully you don’t make the same mistake.

Amazing day with laughter. Was able to find and book an amazing diving excursion. Instructor confirmed booking within hours and was picked up from hotel on time. Would highly recommend it.

Had a great time learning to scuba dive. Was at the end of the season so I was the only one getting tuition so had 1-1 attention. Was given an overview of the equipment and a safety briefing before going to the beach and going into the water. I really enjoyed the experience. Saw lots of varied fish and Ianni was informative about the fish we saw. Has made me want to go diving again. Was given an option of getting photos and videos made but I wasn't interested in this.

Whole experience wasn't very good. Equipment weren't great, so didn't feel safe the whole dive. I am quite small and everything was just too big and heavy for me. Ordered video/photo package but still waiting almost a month later even when we were told it will take about 5/6 days. Tried to contact but no response.

I can not fault Mary our instructor on the day she was very patient with us as we werent really able to experience the full dive due to our own problems but unfortunately I paid 40 euros for pictures and videos but 7 weeks later I still have not received so unfortunately I can't validate a higher review I would give a 5 star review for patience and understanding on the day

Myself (51) and my son (18) went on this trip having never done any scuba diving before and it was the highlight of our holiday. We got picked up from our hotel and taken to where we were doing diving. We had Mary as our instructor who was very patient with us. We had a good brief on equipment and signals to use underwater and then off we went for a lovely dive with Mary supervising and instructing us whilst also showing us some lovely marine life. It was a great experience and we both cannot wait to dive again!!!

The view was amazing. They were funny and friendly. He always kept an eye on us underneath the water. It was wonderful to see those fishies and experience the life under water. Definitely recommend it.

The experience was terrible. The equipment wasn't good, they had to change it, one of the clients refused to dive because it wasn't feeling safe. Also I paid for a video and haven't received anything, it's already a month 2 weeks ago i asked when the video will be sent to me but nothing. Waste of money

This was a great trip! The team explained everything before hand and even when in the water they were regularly checking in to make sure everything was okay. Definitely something I would advise experiencing!

I was picked up from my hotel by the instructor Mary who was very friendly and professional, we were taken to a quite beach were Mary explained and briefed all the necessary information before we got into the water, once in the shallow part of the sea Mary showed us how to use the equipment while under water in the safety of the shallows and also the sign language required to communicate under water and once we were comfortable off we went swimming under water to deeper parts and even explored a small shipwreck, we saw plenty of small fish and I made friends with a tiny crab HAHA 😄, at no point did I feel unsafe due to the expertise, friendliness and professionalism of Mary, I am now hooked as I really want to go and pass the open water course so I can dive to deeper depths, if your in kos this is an absolute must so just get it booked you won't regret it Thank you Mary for an experience of a lifetime

We had a very nice day snorkeling in lovely clear water! We were also lucky enough to see dolphins! Very happy that they showed up just when we were there, since it's impossible to book an appointment with them! It was amazing to see them in their "own home" and not in a pool! Thank you very much for the nice trip and service :)

Really cool experience, was my first time trying Scuba Diving. Found the trip to be well organised with handy communication via WhatsApp. Instructor made everything seem really easy, was laid back but clear. Definitely recommend trying when staying in Kos.

This was the highlight of my stay! Felt very safe with briefing and practice as I’ve never scuba dived before. We got lots of photos and videos taken of us under water so great to watch back and show.

A wonderful experience, especially for those trying diving for the first time at all. A must try. The care of the crew and instructors was excellent. We felt mega looked after, they made sure we understood everything and had fun on our first dive. At least a minimal knowledge of English is necessary, but everything is explained in a very accessible and simple way. Even when you are highly stressed, they take care of your comfort. We had a briefing on the deck to start with, then swam to a shallow spot where we practised further and then swam deeper. The views are amazing (remember, though, that it was our first time and what we saw was most satisfying). Afterwards we could opt for snorkelling or a second dive, extra paid. I heard that experienced people were also satisfied. I for one am glad that this was my first dive. For those worried about seasickness during the route to the destination, tablets are offered. Good instructors but the leader ruined my mood due to some issues due to the email communication. They said I had to contact them directly but not the agent. I didn't find their contact detail online (or it's difficult to find as they advertise them on the agent website) The agent company answered my question. So I thought that was.

It was my first scuba diving so was a little bit anxious. However, very friendly staff, lovely sailing to another island and of course diving itself was an experience I won't forget. I can definitely recommend 👍.

Great customer service, and overall experience! before the trip I did not feel comfortable because my ability to swim was very limited. However the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, and they were so attentive and calming. You could tell they care about your well being! After I went snorkelling and I felt very confident. They were very kind, friendly, funny and put me at ease which was the best thing that could've happened. Thank you to the staff at DiveNow and I recommend this experience!

Had a great time in general. The exerience started off easy, with maybe 20 minutes of snorkeling to make us used to breathing with our faces below water. And proceeded to have us dive with full equipment, first at waist level depth and then at 6 meters maximum. This lasted about 25 minutes. I then opted for a second dive where we dived for 45 minutes. This was at a maximum of 12 meters, and we got to swim around, feed some fish and meet an octopus. :) Great fun in all!

I booked this for me and my teenage boys. I can say with 100% that it was a great experience for us all. The family run team was amazing they guided us through even with my nerves. The team was so friendly and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend booking this when you visit kos. If I could give 10 stars I really would. Very grateful thank you

The diving trip was a great experience. It was our first time diving, but the team explained everything very well and we felt save all the time. There was a relaxed and funny atmosphere on the boat and we were able to see a lot of interesting things under water.

If it is your first time diving, I absolutely recommend it. The crew is very kind and friendly. We had a great time, and have seen a lot of the underwater environment.

it was a great day out, instructors were lovely and very helpful. felt very safe and looked after. boat was reasonably nice and scuba diving was fun. we didn’t go that far down bur as beginners it was enough. would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a fun activity to do in kos! you also get a nice boat journey. we were asked to give our details over whatsapp- we didn’t want to do so over message, so we went to see the woman who was super lovely and helpful and took time to speak to us. as well we got around 500 pics and videos of the actual scuba diving experience for 25 euros which was great. would definitely come back if we were in kos again!

It was my first scubadiving experience ever. The whole trip as well as the diving was very well supervised. All the people running this event are warm and super friendly. The instructors were very informative and keep a good eye out on me for safety. I spoke to another girl that attended our trip, who was an experienced diver, and see also spoke highly of her diving session. Definitely recommended. I'm considering going again in september for a followup course.

The team was just wonderful and very caring. We felt safe during every second of the trip and very much enjoyed the feeling of being under water. It was our first and second scuba dive ever, and we will re-do this for sure. Thanks to everyone! See you next time again.

The tour was amazing. We had good guidance and had a great time! They helped us out very well and we felt very welcome on this trip. Thanks for the explanations, guidance, hospitality and help. We loved it, thankyou!!

In itself, the experience was incredible and I have absolutely no regrets. But the organization leaves something to be desired... A gentleman, certainly very nice!, picks us up at the hotel and leads us along the road near the port where we equip ourselves with all the equipment by the roadside... He explained everything well, we dived and he was safe. However, what was said was noted in the description (snorkeling and boating), was not understood. We still had to pay. Anyway, a little disappointing. But activity to do!!

Booking, communication and hotel pickup went smoothly. Once at the meeting point/dive site we had to wait about 25 minutes for another dive guide and other dive guests. Afterwards we got the briefing for the first dive and the corresponding equipment. This was extensive and you felt in good hands. We then dived in a bay near Kos harbour. It is not like reading in the older comments that you start the dive from a boat! Underwater, the 3 guides took very good care of themselves, kept a watchful eye and regularly checked the air of the diving bottles. The photos and videos offered at the meeting point for the dive are recommended. Very negative to note that the entire tour went only 2.5 hours instead of the specified 5 hours, so the 95€ are not justified!

Reality was very different from the description! 1. We dived only about 1 hour (there were five indicated) also we did not go anywhere by boat, but on a bathing beach in the water. Nevertheless, it was nice and the instructors nice. Just for all in all a little expensive for an hour...

A wonderful trip, the staff is very enthusiastic and happy to provide services, the staff provides complete information, so we feel safe. Highly recommended for friends who love water sports.

I chose to give the scuba diving activity to my boyfriend for his birthday and it turned out to be a perfect gift!! We started from the port of Kos and on the outward journey the nice Aphrodite explained very clearly the basic rules for diving. He divided us into 4 groups of 4/5 people and first made us get familiar with wetsuit/fins/mask/mouthpiece. Then they gave us a tank and inhaler to try the dive at a very low height (we touched the ground). They took pictures and videos of us and then took us deeper and deeper, to a depth of about 2/3 meters. If someone didn't feel like continuing, they could easily break away from the group and snorkel or stay on the boat. But we also tried to do the second dive which went even deeper and was longer. A challenging and fantastic experience! Thanks to all the super helpful, accommodating and nice staff ♥️

The tour was great in itself. Super atmosphere on the boat ,all very nice and accommodating. For beginners definitely doable.

It was great fun. The atmosphere was very good on the boat. You were treated nicely and instructed well, which is certainly no disadvantage for a beginner. During the dives, the instructor Mathilda left a very vigilant and component impression, which gave you a lot of security. Underwater it was also very exciting and beautiful. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Great tour in the beautiful Aegean Sea. As total touch beginners, everything was explained to us calmly and accurately. Team was great! First diving experiences just impressive,- fish, starfish, squid etc. Tour is definitely recommended 👍
