Reviews
Myself and my wife enjoyed this experience. It took us to areas of Kos that we would never have thought to visit ourselves and it was lovely to see more of the city. As it was self guided and at our own leisure, we took the time to take in the sights around each point and had drinks in cafes that we would never had seen had we not taken up this experience. Thoroughly recommend it. The only criticism I would have would be to include more tips or recommendations about the area you’re in. We enjoy sampling hidden gems, places where the main tours would never take you and that locals would go as they can easily be amongst some of the best authentic experiences. Other than this, we both enjoyed the experience and were happy we took a chance.
I tried to use the app with my 5g but it kept failing. The only time I could operate it was when I had WiFi. Absolute waste of time and money!
A great way to explore and get some history behind this beautiful town.
We really enjoyed this walking tour, Kos has lots of history, but not a huge amount of information plaques etc. about it and so this was super helpful. The challenges at each spot were cool as well
Really fantastic fun way to see a bit of Kos town, learn some interesting history, solve some riddles and just generally have some fun. Best value thing to do with any ages. Great for a family
Although I have always enjoyed past Viator tours this was a disappointment We went to the meeting place and there was no one there to provide my tour details and audio set. We gave up after wandering around for 30 mins and asking others for direction. I used my credit + cash for the tour. Very unfortunate I would appreciate my money credited.
We done this with friends and we all decided that there would have been bits of Kos town we would have missed! Definitely a must and good value fun too.
Well worth downloading the App and taking the planned route
An amazing way to explore the city, found out loads about Kos, enjoyed the puzzles and good to explore all the little corners of Kos. Took us avout 4 hours at relaxed pace and stopped for lunch too.
This was an absolute highlight on our holiday in Kos! A great, way to see the city. inclusive, interactive and loads of fun!
7km walked to some really interesting historical sites that the island of Kos has to offer. A few drink stops along the way, and some good brain teasers to solve the clues and move to your next destination. Would highly recommend.
Great way to see Kos, and nice twist to add games into it. We love games! The information on each location was thorough and gave us good insights into the historical significance of each thing, definitely saw things and learnt we wouldn't have done had we not used this app. Loved it!
The app was a little clunky to use, that is to set up and also when reading the clue and entering the answer. The clues were super simple and geared towards young children. My eight year old got them without trying. I would have liked harder clues and the hints for those who could not solve them. That said it did provide a nice walking tour with great information about the sights.
Seemed a great idea but some of the places were all fenced off and had items removed so impossible to “spot the difference” Directions were clear and easy to follow but Photos of clues weren’t very clear - eg “flags” on castle were stone pictures that couldn’t be clearly seen. Gave up in the end
I didn’t really get a lot of the puzzles, but it was a great way to see Kos Town with lots of photo opportunities. When following maps directions from one destination to the next, I often took routes through the old part Kos, and this made it especially nice. I also mixed it up and did part of the scavenger hunt during the day and part after dark, which made for a completely different experience.
It was a really funny way to discovered th city of Kos. I recommend you to do the tour in the evening because it’s around 2 hours and I cannot imagine doing this in the heat.
We really enjoyed this tour as it allowed us to see more of Kos town that we other wise may have missed. I would definitely suggest doing this in the morning or later afternoon to avoid the heat whilst walking.
Fun way to explore the city on your own. Everything worked really well, we never had a problem with the app or everything else. The riddles weren't too hard and if you get stuck, the hints are really helpful. Would recommend!
The first puzzle was thought of as too complicated right away. Otherwise a really nice, entertaining tour where there was a lot to see!!!
A truly unique and fun way to visit the city freely. We really enjoyed ourselves and the tips given were top-notch. I would gladly do it again!
Nice walk in Kos Town with small puzzle tasks. Unfortunately, it is sometimes difficult to use in the app without a good mobile network and enough data volume, because the pictures for the puzzles are not displayed or only with a delay.
Nice way to explore the city independently. We liked it a lot. You get to know beautiful spots that you probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise. However, we had to walk some paths several times - which could also be due to Google Maps.
Disappointing. The puzzles are really childish and way too easy. The sights are mainly limited to statues and other stuff. We cut the tour short because you just stayed in the same area. A restaurant owner already laughed at us when we walked by for the fourth time. Always just back and forth between the same streets. Not recommended.
We had a very nice walk, works easily, nice assignments and saw a lot in kos. Highly recommended
Super holiday had, we were in a fine simple apartment hotel near the center of Kos city within 800 meters right in the city e/ or harbor . Hotel Theatraki is fine to stay. Nice pool and Garden off the road.
No added value. Takes you to different points and gives you an inspirationless description. No coherent story that takes you to special points. Total walking distance significantly more than indicated, with a lot of “walking back”. App little advanced. Why does this have to be so expensive???! Not of this time anymore. A total deception.
In the walk through the center of Kos were 10 assignments. Nice way to discover center of Kos. 2 assignments could not be done because they were renovating and the part of the question was not available
Wonderful walking through Kos along a number of sights, with the accompanying riddles. Useful to do at the beginning of the holiday, during the trip you will get more valuable information about interesting places on the island
Fun game to discover Kos, very comprehensive, fortunately you can start and stop whenever you want. Tip: the locations are quite apart, renting a bike is definitely recommended!
Kos~town is cozy with the harbor where the pirate boats arrive in the evening from the excursion to other islands. You can take a train(2) to explore, rent a bike or just stroll in the streets with the tourist shops and Greek taverns. What struck me is the cleanliness and many sofas. Lovers of Roman ruins will also get their money's worth. If you want to stay a little quiet Continental Palace hotel just outside the city is a good choice.
Erg leuk om zo de stad te verkennen! De raadsels zijn niet te moeilijk en de wandeling is leuk. Je ziet de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en je krijgt zo veel informatie.
We found the offer by chance, it's definitely a great idea for 8-year-olds with lots of puzzle fun and we also saw a lot of things worth seeing.
