The Hilton Garden Inn Konya is perfectly located close to Mevlevi sites. The rooms are clean, breakfast is abundant with great variety. Especially Saime was very helpful in organizing a boxed lunch for our return train ride to Istanbul. Konya was a very nice surprise after our visit to Istanbul.
Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in Konya, Turkey. The best hotel in town with superb dining services by Mr Emrullah. Felt like home very king and lovely people at this hotel. Also there is nutritionist Ms. Saime
My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic breakfast here! The food was incredibly good, but what really made our morning special was the exceptional service. The dietitian, Saime, came out to our table to personally check on us and took such wonderful extra care of our needs. She was amazing—so professional, genuinely helpful, and kind. Highly recommend!
The hotel doesn’t provide a dental kit or cotton swabs. Also, after the second or third day, when I enter the room, I often find no sugar or basic amenities unless I ask for them again. Nothing gets refilled automatically; I always have to request everything myself.
The biggest issue is that nobody there speaks English well, which is supposed to be an international language. And when we ask for something, it sometimes — actually, most of the time — takes around half an hour to arrive, if it arrives at all, and then we have to call again.
Location was a bit noisy right next to the mail street. The A/C wasn’t working. My room temperature reached 25+ and I have complained several times and their excuse was that the heating system was on because it’s winter when I know that’s not true because I had a second room which didn’t have the same issue and the A/C wasn’t working working fine. The rooms were outdated and missing a lot for a 5 star hotel as advertised.
