An Absolute Paradise in Labuan Bajo! This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The **private beach** was breathtaking! The resort sits right on the beachfront, and we spent hours just relaxing on the pristine sand and swimming in the crystal-clear water. The beach is kept incredibly clean with sun loungers and bean bags — perfect for watching the stunning sunset at the end of the day. What made our stay even more special was the **kindness of the staff**. On our first day, they surprised us with a generous complimentary fruit platter delivered to our room — the fruit was incredibly fresh, juicy and absolutely delicious! We were so touched by their thoughtful gesture. The staff throughout the resort were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always smiling — they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The entire resort is beautifully maintained with lush tropical gardens, and everything from the rooms to the common areas was spotlessly clean. The food at the restaurant was excellent with plenty of options, and the pool area overlooking the beach is just stunning. We also loved the free use of kayaks and paddleboards. Honestly, I cannot recommend Sudamala Resort, Komodo enough. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful beachfront getaway in Labuan Bajo with incredible service, look no further. We are already planning our next trip back! Would definitely stay here again! ❤️🌴🍉

My husband and I spent a week at the resort and had such a fantastic time. The grounds are beautiful! We reserved the one bedroom villa with a private pool and outdoor shower. It felt like our own private island - so relaxing and spacious. The entire staff are fantastic. They helped arrange multiple tours around the island and recommending unique places to visit. The spa was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The food was delicious as well at the restaurant. Absolutely recommend staying here during your trip to the island!
I really loved and enjoyed my stay here during my trip to Flores. The peaceful and quiet surroundings, along with the very friendly and attentive staff, made the experience even more special. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing resort-style getaway. The room is very spacious and the pool is great. The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the main town area. If you’re planning a day trip to Komodo National Park, do check whether your tour provider includes pickup from the resort. An exceptional resort with the most amazing staff! My wife and I stayed at Sudamala across 4 days and it's a little piece of paradise in Labuan Bajo. Everyone made us feel so welcome and happy to help no matter the request. The restaurant serves incredible food for dinner, so good in fact, we didn't leave the hotel and try other restaurants. We were also exhausted from the amazing trips that Aquradive, who are based here, organised for us so it was easy to stay and enjoy this amazing resort. The restaurant staff are so genuine and friendly and we will miss them very much! The rooms are very clean and comfortable and we liked that the bathrooms are outside (but private). I highly recommend Sudamala as it's exceptional value for money and they really do have high standards. I'm an amateur drone pilot so one thing I suggested was to inform guests of the permit needed to fly in the Komodo region. It can be organised 24hrs in advance so if you stay here and take your drone, speak to the hotel to organise this in advance. The surrounding islands are simply perfect for drone footage but unfortunately, I didnt know about the permit. Not a criticism, just very helpful to know for the future. This is an amazing resort and the perfect spot for a few days to enjoy diving and Komodo Island! Everything can be organised inside the resort! Thank you to everyone! We had an excellent stay at Sudamala Resort in Komodo. Despite being a boutique resort, we felt no compromise in quality, service or experience having just come from Hilton in Nusa Dua. The room was spacious, cosy and comfortable with supremely comfortable beds. There were countless thoughtful and high quality touches such as the bedtime stories left after room cleaning, and spare toilet rolls kept in branded bags. The grounds themselves were very peaceful, and the feeling of tranquility throughout left us feeling rejuvenated after our stay. It was truly relaxing to walk through them especially at night, make sure you ask the desk for food for the Koi! The restaurant food was high quality and was presented well, fitting of a 5 star resort. Above all, we were touched and impressed by the service provided by all staff members. Friendly smiles and greetings at all times, they helped us feel like we were home and were always willing to help. We will certainly stay at Sudamala Komodo in the future again, and with how positive the experience was, they will be one of the first resorts I look for in other areas of South East Asia.
