The boat was in great condition and the staff was professional and friendly. They never rushed us and took the time to show us around. Our two daughters absolutely loved it and the entire experience was amazing.

Private charter speedboat day at Ang Thong National Marine Park was the highlight of the trip. Started off with a quick hike for an amazing view. Then incredible snorkeling. Guide was in water pointing out cuttlefish and other interesting finds. Then a lovely thai lunch with these cool tropical birds. Then the real highlight. A couple hours at a pristine beach with water and feelings thst I dreamt Thailand would have. Very professional, polite and fun guide. Nice, clean boat. Some flexibility in the day but honestly their itinerary was perfect.

Pro experience from the private pick up and drop off to the boat. The boat was clean and well stocked and the staff were amazing with our kids. On the we encountered a storm but the crew did an excellent job of making sure we all felt safe and secure.

The boat was well equipped and maintained. Hong, our guide, was wonderful and super engaging and playful with the younger kids in our family. Nut and Film - our other crew members - were equally attentive and friendly. Overall we had a fantastic and well executed day! It started with picking us up at the beachfront of our hotel, then to the Angthong Marine Park (we visited first to avoid the large crowds so that the climb up and down to the Emerald Lagoon wasn’t rushed for our little hikers), then to a spot north of the park to privately snorkel, followed by lunch (we preordered so that the food was ready for us when we arrived), next to a private beach cove (which unfortunately was covered with plastic rubbish but our team quickly cleaned the beach with help from us) and then back to the beachfront of our hotel in Bophut. The experience was fully enjoyed by all in our family, from the youngest to the oldest. I highly recommend this company - booking was a breeze and communication up to our tour and throughout our experience was impeccable.

One of the best boat charters we have done anywhere in the world. Everything was very private and not crowded (except the expected national park.) crew was top notch and very helpful, wonderful lunch - everything was incredible and we’ve done dozens of private charters across the world. Don’t hesitate, just book this and you won’t be disappointed.

We took a boat for just us ... we left early ... sea was flat on the way out . Great captain and mate and "guide". Going out early you might snag a "private" beach which can be yours until you leave ... very safe boat ... wind up in the afternoon but great boat in a little choppy sea on run home. Could not fault the day

This is our second year doing this trip. We’re lucky enough to have done private boat trips all over the world. Nothing beats this boat and crew. Captain Tony, Josh and India took exceptional care of our party including elderly parents. Nothing was too much trouble. Let me give you one example. We stopped at a beach for a swim and sit in the shade. Another group had left rubbish on the beach (Shame on them) and as we were getting ourselves together to disembark they went down onto the beach and cleared away the debris so it would be nicer for us. That’s is just one example of what was simply outstanding service. The boat is also clearly well looked after and cared for. We had a coffee after the trip next to the marina/mooring and watched them clean down everything with care and attention - including the underside of the canopy! We can’t recommend this boat and crew highly enough. A+++

Wow! We had a brilliant day on this trip. The marine park is incredible and seeing it on a private tour made it even better. Our host, King, managed the schedule so we experienced all stops privately, which included private lunch and private beach. Whilst expensive, I would 100% recommend this and it was our best day in Thailand!

After reading many angthong reviews we decided to push the “boat” out and go with SAMUI boat charter. It is not cheap but considering this is probably a once in a lifetime trip we didn’t want take a risk. We are so glad we did as we managed to avoid nearly all the crowds, experience the park in all its glory and had an unbelievable lunch, probably the best meal we’ve had in Thailand so far. Perfect day with a great crew. The boat was very comfortable. Great cold water and soda. The crew also really took care of all our needs. Fresh water wash, drying out our wet gear. Perfect trip 3rd time with this company.

This boat trip was truly outstanding. The guide picked us up from our villa and took us to the boat and stayed with us all trip. It was a magical day, packed full of entertainment from snorkeling, a trip to a private beach (only reached by a boat), to a tour of the beautiful Angthong National Marine Park. All the crew were very pleasant and incredibly attentive, they were all keen to ensure we had the very best experience and they certainly succeeded. I would highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic day out to Ang Thong Marine Park. It was a bit choppy to get out there but fine once there. Did some snorkelling, stopped off to climb up to see the blue lagoon and then went for a lovely seafood lunch (500 baht per head). Stopped at a beach in the afternoon for some swimming and relaxing before heading back to Samui. The crew and guide were very helpful and professional and timings and itinerary were pretty flexible. Would definitely recommend.

Win and his crew absolutely made this experience by far the BEST activity we booked in Thailand. We had a blast boating around from island to island with them all day!! They took us to the most beautiful places and we were supplied with fresh coconuts & water. We got to hike, snorkel, boat, sightsee, AND we had the most amazing lunch on a tiny island served by the most gracious and kind locals. I cannot say enough about how amazing this trip was!! If you are in the fence about it get off it and book right away!! Mahalo to everyone who made our excursion so delightful!! For sure we will book again when we return to Thailand.

One of the best experiences ever. The team was great and excited, Curt was amazing. We booked the private tour and snorkled in various places, the most exciting being in a cave where we got to see hundreds of fish, it was magical. We also hiked for the Blue Lagoon and visited a nice little island for lunch. Overall the team was really careful and helpful, we even got fruit on the beach where we took a dip. They are professional and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them!

We had a great day aboard. The crew could not have been more helpful and took us to some amazing locations where we could avoid the crowds. We saw some of the most beautiful scenery and the climb to the view point was very much worth it. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants a once in a lifetime trip.

We took this trip at koh samui amout a month ago.Even though it passed almost a month, we didn't get out of the afterettects of the trip and got a good memeories. My daughter who is 3 years old is not a good condition to take a snokel and need to care but crew divided us into team and helped us all snorkel. Despite being an old woman who is 80 years, she able to snorkel becase the crew took good care of her. My mother said that she never have been seen a such a good tour guide and team in the snorkeling and tour. (she traveled to many places.) Especially, My husbnad have a chance to snorkeling with brave this time. Next time he will have a snokeling beasue of the good experience, And I especially thank him who name is Chai crew. Of coure, all of crews are wounderfurl and kind. The price is compared to other places, tours can be expensive, but just as good value for the money. I got good memories are so my family.

We are two families with children in the age between 12-14. it was an AMAZING trip in fantastic nature with the most lovely staff who did everything for us. We the best day snorkeling and jumping off the boat, as well as hiking in the jungle and eating a very good authentic thai lunch. I highly recommend this trip!

Absolutely fantastic day out on a beautiful boat to the stunning Angthong Marine Park. We were picked up on the beach right outside the Anantara Bophut and everything was perfect, all day long. Our crew of three were terrific, and we were so looked after. They let our 12 year old son drive the powerful boat for a while too, which as a petrol head he really enjoyed. We arranged a day trip with Mark and he was very responsive. Khun Om and the team created a fantastic time for us, he seemed genuinely interested to show us around (for example getting in the water with us while snorkeling) and was really friendly with our kids. The boat was comfortable and well stocked. The standard Ang Thong itinerary is also great, the park is gorgeous and perfect to see by speedboat. The day didn’t feel rushed at all. The lunch at a local restaurant is also delicious so we really enjoyed the seafood. Overall a perfect part of our Samui trip and highly recommend!

Me, my family and friends had an amazing day trip on Popeye visiting the national park. The crew were fantastic and looked after us and took us to some amazing secluded beaches. I can highly recommend the Samui boat charter and found them great value for money.

We had a great day out on the speedboat with our guide Mr Lai and the crew! Nothing was too much trouble and the boat was very nice. Snorkelling was included together with soft drinks. Stopped off at a restaurant for lunch at one of the Marine Park islands which was very tasty and great value for money. I can recommend the fish menu which had fresh crab, local fish, tempura prawns and much more! If you can afford the extra for a private boat charter then do it and you wont be disappointment!

We booked a private tour to the Angthong national park and we had a fantastic day ! Excellent service , very nice and comfortable boat. The staff and khun Om did a great job and took us to the best places around the park. Highly recommended

This trip did not disappoint in fact it far surpassed our expectations We are a party of 3 couples 50+ and hired the ruby grace privately We were picked up on time and on the boat shortly after We had 3 great staff Alex ,ray and the captain Who looked after all our needs including music (great sound system on board so make sure you bring your play lists) they set up beach mats and carried all our belongings onto the private beaches we visited and put all our drinks into ice boxes .(you can bring your own drinks) They took us to a restaurant within the park and our table was pre reserved. The food was amazing One of our party realised they had lost their bag with phone and glasses in on one of the beaches I text mark and 2 days later it was found on a deserted beach and delivered to our door by Alex . Now that is way above and beyond. When we return we will be booking again great trip

We had a fantastic day trip when our cruise docked at Koh Samui on Christmas Eve. Originally planned as a private tour just for our party of 5 but the day before we received contact from Mark saying he had received interest from another family from our cruise ship but had no boats to offer. It was Christmas after-all so we agreed to allow that family to join us which, ultimately, saved us some money. After a little confusion on my part about where to meet we were met by one of the crew from our boat, Easy. The boat had more than enough room for the 9 guests plus 3 crew. It was clean, well presented and offered both undercover and covered seating. The crew were fabulous, keeping us all hydrated throughout the day with a choice of on-board beverages. The marine park was stunning. We started our visit with a stop to hike up the very steep stairs (almost ladders) to see the Emerald Lake and the hard work getting up there was well rewarded by the stunning views. Next stop was for some snorkeling. All the gear we needed was on-board and the crew was available to assist when required. The water was clear and the fish were abundant in variety and colour. We then stopped for a traditional Thai lunch at a restaurant on one of the islands. The food was delicious with good variety including fish, prawn and vegetable dishes. Last stop was another island where we could stroll on the soft sand, take a dip and enjoy this beautiful part of the world. If we had had more time available (limited by the time our cruise ship was in port) we could have done some kayaking from this location. Our family rates this experience as the best day trip we had during our cruise and wouldn't hesitate to recommend using Samui Boat Charter for a private (or semi-private) trip when you are visiting the area.

This is my first TripAdvisor review ever but I just HAD to write one after my trip on Christmas. My family and I booked the Ruby Rose on Christmas Day and we could not have been more pleased with the adventure. Our crew - Lip, Chate (May be spelling that wrong) and Yay were the reason this trip was so memorable. All three of them were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, skilled and their positive attitudes and energetic personalities made them so fun to hang out with during the trip. I was so sad to say goodbye at the end of the boat ride! My whole family loved them and later that day after the trip we were STILL talking about how incredible the three of them were. We were one step in front of the other boats for EVERY activity which made the trip incredibly intimate and special (they navigated us perfectly around the busy crowds for each destination). They showed us all the nuances of the nature around us such as pointing out to us all the animal faces in the rocks, explaining the history of the park, finding all the hidden fish while we were snorkeling and took so many photos for us! These three guys are something special! Thanks for an amazing trip!!

We booked a private boat charter for our trip to Ang Thong Marine Park. We were picked up from our resort in Koh Samui and driven to the pier. After a very welcoming briefing by the extremely friendly Curt, we boarded Alice and greeted by the staff which included our instructor Lai, Tao and our skipper. We were treated to water and soft drinks and music and sailed to the Marine Park. The marine park is breathtaking and Lai made the climb to the top so much easier assisting us with our 3 year old. We then sailed to a spot where we snorkeled in beautiful clear waters. After that we sailed to a small island with a stunning setting where we had an amazing authentic Thai Lunch. We asked to be dropped off in Ko Phangan and on the way we saw James Bond island and were very lucky to see dolphins, including a pink dolphin. Throughout the entire trip, we were treated like royalty!!! The staff was patient, enthusiastic and attentive and made the day as memorable as can be and beat all of our expectations. Highly recommended!!!!

I booked a private boat tour to see the national marine park with Samui Boat Charters well In advance of my trip to Koh Samui, and paid up front. After receiving reminder emails the week leading up to the tour, my wife and I were very excited. The morning of the tour, we were dressed and ready to go, waiting for our hotel pick up, and the company never showed up! They never called, emailed or explained why, and above all else, haven’t refunded me for the nearly $1000 USD I paid for the trip! Super unprofessional and very disappointing experience on our honeymoon. Would recommend working through Oceana Samui for a charter to anyone visiting Koh Samui instead of Samui Boat Charters!

Everything was well organized (hotel pick-up, cruise, snorkeling, lunch, beach, ...), the place is lovely, so many nice pictures to take, the lunch was good and the crew just awesome !! Great experience, you won’t be disappointed.

We had a brilliant day exploring the national park. Lip and his team were fantastic, they were attentive and ensured that we had a fantastic day out. The activities were very enjoyable, we loved the national park and snorkeling. Lip led us to some exciting sites that we would have never found on our own. After our delicious lunch, we relaxed on a private beach. The team constantly ensured the boat was presented nicely and that all our needs were met with a smile. I Couldn't recommend them more.

Family of 7 hired a private speed boat “minted” for the day. Lip and his crew were very friendly and accommodating, making the day focused on us. They took us to all the same areas as the other boats but at different times so it wasn’t busy. Lunch was delicious and there was lots of it. After lunch they took us to a beach which we shared with only one other family. For 7 people having a private boat was only a little bit more money but well worth it. Thank you to the crew for looking after us and going above and beyond! Strongly advise spending the extra money and going private with this company!

Coming from North Queensland in Australia, as well being a fishing boat owner, I am spoilt with places to visit. I can highly recommend the crew from Samui Boat Charter. I booked a VIP tour for my wife on a spur of the moment when in Koh Samui for our honeymoon. The first operator chosen cancelled the booking on weather, which was a fair call given the recent change in conditions. I was then forced to look at alternative operators to see if they had availability if the weather improved. Mark from Samui Boat Charter was extremely helpful and also kept safety paramount for us by advising that weather was not looking favourable and if it improved they would head out. With the link Mark gave me I kept checking the wind and waves over the next three days. With a break in the weather we were on for Sunday and and a deposit was paid. In the interim I also enquired with other operators who all had availability on days when the weather was not favourable and realistically the trip would have been a waste. Come Sunday we headed out and the whole experience was sensational. The Thai crew were extremely helpful and courteous with excellent English speaking skills. The tour catered for all levels of experience from sea dogs like myself to newcomers who have never been in a speed boat let alone snorkel or kayaked in their life. With the small number of clients and a crew of three to assist, no one misses out on attention. The skipper of the vessel was thoughtful of the wave conditions and constantly adjusted the sped to provide the best level of comfort to the passengers. There was plenty of cold drinks and great food and lunch was an experience at a traditional Thai fishing village. A must do in Koh Samui if you only get the chance to visit once.

We booked this day trip via our travel rep and were a little skeptical as she was pushy. Pick up from our hotel to the meeting point in fisherman’s village where the group assembled. We departed at 9.30am off the beach and the whole day from there was a wow experience and a highlight for our trip. After an hour traveling to the marine park islands we arrived at a quiet castaway beach where we did kayaking for 45 mins along the cliffs and then had some time to walk about. Back on the boat which was a beautiful 14 capacity motor boat. Next stop was to a small fishing village where unexpectedly we had a lovely Thai style lunch buffet. The ladies were happy with the clean restrooms too! The itinerary changed due to a storm close by so we went to the hidden lagoon next which entails a very steep set of ladder steps up to the top to see a beautiful lagoon. This bit is probably not for young toddler kids. You can hang out on the beach below if you like. The next leg was about 20 mins away to another island where we stopped to snorkel. It was brilliant and don’t worry if you’re not a great swimmer as you can wear a life vest. The underwater life was abundant and beautiful. It was an hour from there back to base for 5pm. The crew were great and very attentive. Nice cool drinks and fruit onboard and very patient with all their guests. Book direct to get the best rates but either way you get a lot for your money. Enjoy.

Mark helped arrange a truly memorable day charter for me and my wife to explore Angthong and its wonderful beaches, hiking terrain, and caves. - We chartered the Ruby Grace. This was a gorgeous speedboat with a spacious and comfy day bed in the back (we used this a lot). - We were staying at The Four Seasons and they were able to pick us up directly at our beach on the floating dock. This was super helpful and made our trip even easier. - Lips, Two, and Ton were a great crew that did nearly everything possible to make our trip enjoyable, from being our personal tour guides (hiking and snorkeling) to our photographers. They found the best beaches on the most remote islands. - Lunch was great with the grilled seafood spread (more than enough food for two). Overall a truly fantastic trip.

Having been to Angthrong Marine park 5 years ago, on a big crowded boat, we knew we're never doing that again. This time we got it soooo right. Mark the owner was professional and friendly, Speedboat was new and spotless. We had a crew of 3 great guys - Captain Tor, Guide Game & Crew India - who did everything they could to make our day pleasurable. Soft drinks and water were included in the price. We paid extra for an amazing lunch experience (do not skip this) at a restaurant in a tiny island. Granted, it wasn't cheap - but totally totally worth it.

We rented the Ruby Grace for a private charter to the Angthong National Park; requested to add on to tour to hit the west side of Ko Phangon and the company was happy to do so; only paid the extra in estimated fuel (less than $100 USD). We had 6 people total, I think the boat suggested 8 comfortably. The boat was pure comfort - lounge chairs seats throughout to enjoy the views in style and comfort - also very smooth on the sea, even in the open waters between islands (and it was a pretty windy day, with rain the AM). The best part (besides the scenery) was the service. We had three staff on board. They offered us beach mats to use on the private beach, snorkel guide to stop fish and show us caves, etc. Very friendly and overall amazing hospitality and good times. Highly recommend this boat and crew.

We had a brilliant day with Lhia and his crew. Easy booking, pick up from hotel and simple check in. The boat was in great condition, clean and tidy with all refreshments on board. They created our itinerary to suit the day and the likelihood of certain spots being busy at certain times so they accommodated this into the trip and everywhere we went we missed the crowds. Kayaking and snorkelling were great, the lunch was fabulous and surpassed our expectations, and the trip to Emerald Lake was fabulous. The only feedback I’d give on improvements and it could be a bit picky, is that with some people being dropped off at the beaches by their resorts on the way home, this should be made clear as it could have suited us better. 10 adults did the private boat trip to the Angthong Marine Park and we had a perfect day. We paid a bit extra for the boat to pick us up on the beach in front of our villa, they Upgraded us to a larger, even smarter twin engine speed boat. Very clean and the 3 staff were super attentive, professional and knowledgable of their local area. Lip, our English speaking guide, was particularly mindful of good environmental practices to ensure the positive management of the Marine Park. Great to see! They took us to isolated beaches with no one on them, as requested, and the quaint lunch restaurant served up delicious food in a charming rustic beach side location with few tourists. Perfect! I would definitely use them again...
