A lovely way to see the sunset! the welcome mojito and the shot of rum at the end were a nice touch. Great crew and the food was good. my wife is gluten intolerant however she found the GF dinner alternative was a bit tasteless so didn’t eat it and we went to a restaurant afterwards so maybe that could be an area that could be improved. We enjoyed the time allocated to swim in the ocean. A romantic way to spend time together.

Amazing day, had a brilliant journey. The sights were breathtaking. The locations were excellent. Everyone is the group looked after us, food and drink were great. Elle our host however was a true joy. She made us laugh, she made us very welcome.
Beautiful sunset cruise. Lovely food and drinks. Enjoyed the swimming and fishing. Music on board was great. Guides were fantastic and a lot of fun!
We celebrated Easter sunset on a very enjoyable dinner cruise with Elza and crew. Elza did a great job facilitating the experience and ensuring all the guests were comfortable, aware of all the recreational opportunities, and well fed! This included the safety briefings at the outset, the welcome drinks, hors d'oeuvres, opportunity for swimming and fishing off the decks, seafood dinner buffet and dessert, and plenty of time to enjoy the fresh sea air and sunset. Pickup and transport from the hotel was seamless and smooth. On the boat, seat and table locations are in the sun or shade so pick your spot accordingly, and roam the decks at leisure.
Amazing day with the best boat, wonderful crew, delicious homemade food in several servings. We loved it and had the time of our lives. Chill wibe, stunning nature, swimming, fishing, beautiful beach and and just a day we willnever forget👏👏👏Thank you so much Red Barron-team. You delivered as usual to the max. Its our 4. trip with you❤️🏖️We will be back🌸
It was a rainy day in Koh Samui today and is the last day of our holiday. We did not want to sit on a boat for three hours in the rain just to spend a couple of hours there, to then spend another 3 hours coming back to Koh Samui. We tried to explain this to the operator and asked for a refund (we showed proof that it’s our last day with a screenshot of our return flight to Bangkok as well) and the operator refused saying rain is no reason to cancel. Very disappointing. I understand this is how they make a living but we cannot help the weather and it’s disappointing that they could not understand where we were coming from. I know of other tour operators that offer a cancellation & refund/reschedule for poor weather conditions so my advice would be to book with them. The operator then continued to WhatsApp me throughout the day to try and show how “good” the tour was. The weather is still grey and rainy in the videos they sent me so I’m glad we decided to cancel. Attaching screenshots and videos of the conversation & weather conditions from the day.
One of the best boat trips we've ever done! The boat is very comfortable and the ride was smooth. The staff is exceptional, especially Ella! The food is the best we've had on a boat and better than we've had at most weddings. It was great to see the national parks, the views are fantastic. At the end of the tour we were allowed to jump off the boat, and that was so fun! They also had fresh water showers to rinse off after being in the salt water. We packed our snorkel gear, but the snorkeling is not that great on this tour - Ella suggested we take a Koh Tao tour for snorkeling and that was good advice. The cost of this trip is for a day on this beautiful ship, delicious food, and the opportunity to see the national park. The ride out to the park is about 2.5 hours, which is a little longer than some of the other speed boat tours due to the style of this ship.
The best day out! Between the beauty of the islands and the crew making even the rain a fun time. A day to put in the memory bank 🤩
Had an amazing time. The Boat was one of my main reasons for choosing this trip and I wasn't disappointed. The journey was very smooth with a chilled vibe. I could have got there quicker by speed boat which is noisy and uncomfortable and be packed in like sardines. This amazing boat had a large sundeck with mattress's if you want to soak up the sun, had an indoor section with a bar that was shaded and cool. The front had plenty of space to spread out with tables you can eat at. Lunch was very tasty plenty of drinks through out the day, couldn't have wished for a better crew Would do this trip again and highly recommend it
Amazing day at the sea! Boat is beautiful, there was lots of delicious food and hostess, Ladt Gaga, was super nice. We saw whales on our way to swimming spot, very special. I highly recommend!
We were told to meet at a certain time and location. No one was there and we waited for over 45 minutes. We had to ask random people who looked like there maybe apart of this company as no one had name tags nor any type of uniform. By the time we got on the boat our welcome drinks were warm and ingredients were separating. The speaker which they conveyed what was going on did not work properly, the boat had mechanical issues, The buffet food was left in the sun, until all the people were back from snorkelling. They had free water & soda pop and coffee and tea, if you wanted anything different to drink you have to pay $$ for it. Would I go again, no. Would recommend it.. if they pick you up at your hotel, if you are okay sitting on a very slow ship that only stops once for short while to snorkel and then one time to jump off and fish. Yes these 2 stops take all day. If that is something you want to do, this is the ship for you
Three hours in each direction, with stunning views of Koh Samui and Phangan, brunch, lunch and fruit (delicious mango shake with rum!), upon arrival at the marine park-two or three stops (depending on weather conditions) with the opportunity to climb the observation deck or snorkeling (for that and another thing is that there won't be enough time, unfortunately).
Speedboat tours are all over the place in Thailand / Samui. If you want a more sedate experience with less bumps, this is for you. Particularly good if back problems mean that speedboats need to be avoided. The boat is spacious and comfy. The top deck is excellent for views and it has mattresses if you want a nap! There is a good bar if you want alcoholic drinks, soft drinks are free. You get fed constantly. The breakfast was a bit odd (still ok) but lunch and snacks were great! The two hosts are fun and funny, they also program a playlist of classics. All of this is good, because the boat is not speedy and Ang Thong is far away, so you are travelling for a lot of hours. The two islands themselves can be good, it depends what you choose to do. The bigger island is very busy around the bay. If you choose to climb the mountain, this is a brilliant experience although it is very physically demanding! Definitely take water. The views are worth the effort. If you choose NOT to do this then you are just hanging out in a busy hot place with lots of people. The second island is where The Beach was filmed. It’s a mission of a climb up and down the steepest steps in the world. I am glad I saw it. The beach itself is again, a hit place with loads of people.
It was a cool boat, good food, drinks, environment and guides. The stops for snorkeling were not impressive. The water was not very clear.
The Red Baron excursion to Pha Ngan was the best one that we have taken in Thailand. There was plenty of room, the locations were great and the crew was fantastic. The boat was roomy, clean and quiet. You could sit anywhere and see everything. The food was even great. We highly recommend this excursion.
Professional crew, great food and excellent experience overall. Beautiful view, romantic music and colorful sunset. 🙂
Loved it. Well organised and smoothly run. From the hotel pick-up to the end of the night drop off it was great. Great team on board whom did everything they could to make it an enjoyable experience. A number of fishing rods available to so that made a great addition to the experience. We'll done guts. Totally recommend this trip to everyone.
The tour of the islands, the food and the boat was amazing. Unfortunately, I have knocked off 2 stars because my girlfriend is Chinese and I specifically asked for a Chinese tour guide and one was not provided and no explanation was given as to why. This meant instead of enjoying the trip my girlfriend was confused often with what was going on and I had to translate absolutely everything the tour guides and ship host was saying to her, which left us not enjoying it as much as I think we could have.
I was amazed how the crew handled the situation on board. Mother nature has a funny way of saying merry Christmas but they gave their all. Fantastic
Splendid experience thanks to the kindness and professionalism of the "Baron". It was a beautiful tour of the island, safe and very fun. Highly recommended.
Great trip in the national park. Food on board was excellent. We lacked nothing. Ella and your team, you were fantastic.
Beautiful excursion that I highly recommend. the boat is large , spacious , we were 30 participants, quite decent considering the size of the boat , the crew is very nice , the food simple but good and fresh , what a wonderful day to sail very gently to reach Ang Thong
The day on the Red Baron sailing ship was definitely a highlight of my holiday in Thailand. Especially for my girlfriend , who is disabled and needs help getting on and off the boat I would like to thank the entire crew for the care and care. The inflatable boat trip to the dreamy island was worth the trip alone. Ella , our tourgide makes this day perfect for us. Their wit and charm are unique. To be able to experience the sunset from the ship, simply fantastic. Thanks to everyone . Anja and Eve
We spent a wonderful day on the ship last Saturday. We were about 20 people and a great troupe. The crew and especially Ella made the day unforgettable for us. She is the good soul and takes care of almost everything. The food was great and nothing was missing. We can only recommend the trip .
A super island trip with the best staff, delicious food, cool spots, and top guide Ella! I'd love to come back. Thank you!
Service and friendliness on board are wonderful. Special praise to Ella, the guide. Second special praise to chef and cook. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were super delicious / great selection. Even allergies / intolerances were looked at. Man drives three to three and a half hours both to the national park and back at sunset (then under sail). Two islands are anchored and you are driven ashore by a trail boat. Since I was very scared when changing trains and also when running over the pontoon bridge, ELLA ( Lady Gaga) took me by the arm and calmed my panic attack. So sweet. Thank you!!! <3 By the way, ELLA - their playlist is so wonderfully matched to the respective section of the journey, you can't help but RELAX and absolutely slow down. Or at " Heart will go on" Titanic to take photos at the bow. What fun!! The time on the islands could be longer, as it is hardly possible to climb the 500 meters for the incredible view of the national park and still swim in the lagoon. You have to make up your mind. It depends on the fitness level. Ascent and especially descent are not for fearful guys like me. So think of sturdy footwear, spare T-shirt, bathing suits and sunscreen!! You should have bathing gear alone, because you make a snorkel stop on the way back. Just "jump overboard." The water is warm. Equipment is available on loan on request. Drinks are free throughout the ride - unless you want to have ALCOHOLIC drinks. I think these were the best 3200 Baht I've ever invested. Anytime again!!
an exceptional day: the organization is perfect. Catering is exceptional. The experience is definitely worth a visit... We saw whales of dolphins and monkeys... the sunset on the way back was really amazing
If you like to spend hours sailing around the sea, a tour with the Red Baron is certainly the right thing to do! We made the tour to get to the sang Thong National Marine Park as it was recommended for driving with small children. Certainly the ship is beautiful. The crew was totally nice, there was nothing wrong with food and drinks. But we drove a total of seven and a half hours to spend less than two hours in the national park. One hour and fifteen minutes on one island, 40 minutes on the second island. On the first island a thunderstorm came down at the exact moment, so we could not make the hike to the lookout point (which is why we wanted to go to the national park). Although the sky became brighter again towards the end, the departure time was strictly adhered to. Here I would have liked a little more empathy. Perhaps leave a little more time to make this moment in the national park even possible. Due to the thunderstorm, the sea was much stronger and coming back from the beach to the boat (via a pontoon jetty rocking massively in the waves and a longtail boat) was a real thrill for us with small children. The Thais are simply painless there too. Sure, the Red Baron's crew couldn't help the weather, but as I said, something about the group would be nice. The return journey has dragged on forever, arrival times always glossed over. Overall, I really have to say, we were disappointed. The time on the ship in no way justifies the short visit to the national park.
We made this tour as the end of our 3-week vacation. "The best comes at the end" definitely applies to this excursion. Great beaches, great colors, little monkeys and big whales. Plus delicious food, the lovable service team and as a cherry on the cream Ella with her humorous care. That was a smooth 1 with an asterisk. That's all I can do.
Beautiful boat and super adorable staff. We had an unforgettable time, even the meals on board were great.
Excellent day at sea with breakfast on board crossing 2h30 to Ang Thong simple but good meal then appetizer on the return. Very good organization visits key points of the archipelago
We booked a trip by boat through our guide. The whole tour was very nicely organized.Although very few guests were present, there was a great buffet and we were taken care of very nicely.Thank you for the great trip.
It was a great trip and everything was right....service, food, transfer. Staff member Ela was the good soul on board for us and looked after us lovingly...a big thank you to you and the chef.
A perfect day trip on a beautiful ship with excellent food. A big thank you to Ela and the entire crew who made the day perfect with their knowledge and warm manner. Highly recommended!
Chill, relax and enjoy! The boat is superb, all in wood with two levels of pontoons. You can lounge in full sun upstairs, or enjoy a sheltered shaded area in the cabin or under parasols downstairs. This tour is not the best option if you want a sporty day or if you want to see lots of snorkeling spots. What is especially pleasant is being able to sail and discover the coasts of Koh Phangan from the open sea on a boat like this. Arrival at the end of the day with the sunset is sublime! To live. The staff on the boat are adorable. Special thanks to the guide who is enthusiastic, smiling and full of little anecdotes.
We were picked up on time and had a competent tour guide in Bella. The ship was clean and we were treated to breakfast, a snack, a Thai buffet at lunchtime and a snack in the evening. The food was vegetarian and even vegan. The crew was attentive and very friendly. The shore excursions were very nice, with enough time and catered for all needs.
8 hours of crossing with 2 timed stops: we expected to see beautiful marine flora but no weather and uninteresting swimming spot. We were expecting something completely different. Friendly crew and very good food. Good transfer from the hotel.. we saw the maritime park but not a single fish..
The tour was very well organized. The guides were all friendly and did their best to give us an unforgettable experience.
We went on a well-organized trip to the Ang Thong nature reserve near Koh Samui with the Red Baron. Antonio (Thai) and Ella, along with around 40 other guests, gave us an unforgettable day in every respect. It was the highlight of our three-week trip. Many thanks to everyone involved. When booking the trip, however, we noticed that there were very large price differences; so keep your eyes open; it's best to book on site. You need to be in good shape for both exit options if you want to see everything. Time might be a little tight. Otherwise, everything was great: great atmosphere, good food, just a shame that the mainsail was broken.
We were picked up from the hotel on time and taken to the pier. There we were warmly welcomed by a German-speaking tour guide. The ship is really beautiful and has a certain flair that makes you feel at home straight away. The food was excellent and the entire crew was very friendly and accommodating. It was a wonderful trip with two stops in the Angthong Marine Park that were really impressive. Everything was perfect for us.
