Private Jungle 4x4 Safari Tour - Full Day Discovery Of Koh Samui

What an amazing day! So many activities in one day! We booked this trip for 3 of us. Very flexible with start timings and add on's ( We added the ethical elephant sanctuary, well.worth it) A full, but laid back itinerary. Didn't feel rushed whilst taking in the views and culture. The lunch was the best 'organised tip lunch' we have ever had, truly delicious whilst over looking the island. Our guide and driver were both friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great trip if you want to see some of the best bits of culture on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you

We enjoyed our tour with Jimmy and Num. Great to see the highlights of the island in one day. The 4x4 was great fun especially riding at the top of the vehicle but expect a bumpy ride as part of the trip goes through very rugged terrain. Lunch was delicious (not spicy) and plentiful with beautiful views. We didn’t end up going to the beach advertised (I don’t know why) we were taken to not such a great beach where we didn’t want to stay hanging around there. However an additional stop to see the Grandfather rock (?) at the far right of Lamai Beach was great and very beautiful. There were only the 2 of us so we could dictate the pace and how long we spent at each stop. I would say that this probably isn’t a full day tour but it was plenty long enough for us as it’s quite tiring riding in the jeep. I’m guessing if there are more of you then it’s likely you will probably end up spending more time at each attraction. Having read some negative reviews from last year I’d say that the tour operator has taken on board those comments and improved the experience. I wouldn’t recommend this trip to anyone with back problems or if you have an issue with mobility.

We had a lovely experience with Om and Duke, but I was a little disappointed that the original full-day itinerary was not honoured. It had changed in the few days since we booked, and it was supposed to include Wat Plai Laem. I’m now not sure what else was removed from the schedule. Visiting Wat Plai Laem was the main reason I booked the tour, so we’ll now have to arrange to go there separately. We also had some difficulty contacting the tour operators, as our booking remained pending and their phone number was inactive. We eventually had to go through Viator to sort things out. Other than these issues, it was a fun day and great experience especially with the 4x4 trip through the jungle. Carolyn

Unfortunately we were disappointed. I said i wouldn't leave a review, but the trip cost us almost £200 and we we dropped back off at the hotel by 1.45pm. Now we have been to the island before so we spoke with the organisers about taking out some of the trip and spending more time at the other destinations. The trip felt rushed, and we didn't have time to explore. The roof seats of the vehicle were soaked wet through. Now, although you should expect to get wet on this trip, you don't expect to be soaked the moment you sit down. Then,we were taken to a temple with a completely soaked bottom half. Slightly uncomfortable as it was the very start of the trip. We said no to lunch as it was 11.30am but we didn't realise that if you don't have lunch when they take you you don't have lunch at all. Again, we believed this wouldn't be a big deal as we would have time at other places to grab a coffee, etc. We got dropped off soaked, annoyed, and hungry. We the had to change and find lunch ourselves. Feel like the trip was sold as custom made to our needs but was more what was convenient for the staff. My advice would be to shop around first. A voice note has been left with the organisers who said they would get back to me. I've waited......... Overall, I'm very disappointed. We asked the guide if he did it every day, and he said yes, he didn't think it was good as it's his home, and he saw it all the time. I think it would be a good reminder to staff that it is the customer seeing things for the first time, and they are the ones paying. Isn't that the whole point of booking a trip?

Trip was amazing...we had great time...kids love jeep front seat ride...sea view restaurant and food was good...our guide was amazing and kids just loved it...

It was a great experience working with Jungle 4x4, they are very responsive, english speaking and experienced. They tailor made a trip exactly to meet our needs as a family on last minute. The driver was amazing, drove to meet our family and took us to all nice locations Samui has to offer. Highly recommended

Great day they arrived on time. The driver was very experienced as some of the roads were tricky to maneuver. It really was a 4 wheel drive experience. They were very informative. Would definitely recommend 😊👍

It was a really fun experience. The foreign customers really enjoyed it, and the various locations were incredibly interesting. The guide team was very attentive and provided great information. If there’s another chance to arrange a trip, I’ll definitely use their service again!😊😊

What fantastic full day seeing all the best places to visit on koh samui. Sitting on the top of the jeep we had an amazing view of the white sand beaches and jungle. Our driver was very knowledgable answering all our questions. Pick up at our hotel was on time. This was certainly the best part of our holiday. Thank you so much 💓

Beautiful scenery, hidden spots and even a nice swim at the waterfall which was lovely and refreshing. We wanted to spend extra time at the waterfall and the team gave us no pressure and encouraged us to enjoy ourselves as long as we wanted. The guide also made a recommendation to change the next stop on the itinerary to something that was closer as we had overstayed our time at the waterfall and they didnt want us to lose more time travelling which i thought was a very thoughtful and great recommendation as we still got to enjoy many other places. Definitely would book this experience again in a heartbeat.

Great company, friendly and fun guides, it was a full day of adventure with privacy for our group! I can highly recommend this as a day trip!

"I recently went on the Jungle 4x4 Safari Tour on Koh Samui, and it was an absolute blast! The day started with a smooth pickup from my hotel in Chaweng around 10:30 AM. Our guide was super friendly and full of energy, which set the tone for the adventure. The 4x4 jeep ride itself was rugged and thrilling—bumping along through the jungle trails felt like a real off-road experience. Sitting on the roof for part of the ride (totally optional!) gave us an incredible view of the lush greenery and added an extra adrenaline kick. The stops were a highlight for me. The Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks were quirky and fun to see, while the Namuang Waterfall was a refreshing break—perfect for a quick dip. The Mummified Monk at Wat Khunaram was fascinating, though a little eerie, and the Magic Buddha Garden up in the mountains felt like stepping into a hidden world with all those cool stone sculptures. The views from the mountain lookout were stunning too; you could see so much of the island stretching out below. Lunch was a delicious Thai spread at a small restaurant with a killer view. The food was fresh, spicy, and hit the spot after all the exploring. Also, the ride can get pretty bumpy, so if you’ve got a bad back or aren’t into jolting around, it might not be your thing. The vibe of the tour was pure excitement and camaraderie. You can see it in the photo we snapped in the jeep (check it out above!)—my group of friends and I are all grinning like kids on a rollercoaster. One of us is throwing up a peace sign with a huge smile, another’s giving a thumbs-up with infectious enthusiasm, and there’s even a playful thumbs-down gesture adding a bit of humor. We’re all decked out in casual beach gear—sunglasses, shorts, and flip-flops—looking relaxed but thrilled to be part of the adventure. The open-air jeep, with its black canopy and cooler packed with drinks, added to the laid-back, adventurous spirit of the day. It was a fantastic way to see Koh Samui beyond the beaches, and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s up for a fun, action-packed day—just bring some sunscreen and a sense of adventure!"

It was a very fun tour. It was raining today, so it was even more fun. The nature on Koh Samui is very beautiful. I highly recommend it.

We did a tour yesterday and everything was perfect. Great driver who kept us safe even on the crazy jungle roads! It was so beautiful to experience the highest points of the island , and we had a delicious lunch at this magical local thai restaurant with top views. All around a great experience and special thanks to Mr Om our friendly and fun tour guide !

The views are amazing! Wasn't expecting to explore so deep and high in the jungle, it was so exciting and the kids had so much fun riding on top of the 4x4 truck. The team were very accommodating at the restaurant too with the children who are super fussy eaters, they made nuggets and chips for the kids, which they loved and us adults had the most delicious local thai food! Perfect day out!

Oh we had a happy day with the family. It was a very good private experience. Recommended for people thats looking for activities to do on Koh Samui. Huge thank you to the friendly driver and our lovely tour guide, Om, who made our trip very special!

Wow what an incredible experience I had on this excursion with my family. They came to visit me and I wanted to be a tourist in my own town and boy what a time was had! I appreciate the staff and the effort that was gone into making this a memorable experience for myself and my family’s first time here on the island. I highly recommend this activity! Our tour was breathtaking from start to finish. The jungles of Koh Samui feel mystical, we had the Elephant experience as a part of ours which was a very humbling and magical experience. Our guide OM was amazing, going the extra mile throughout to ensure our kids had as much fun as they’ve had in a very long time! They fell straight to sleep when we got back to our hotel 😂 We’ll look back on this tour with very fond memories for a long long time. Big thanks to Jungle 4x4

We booked the private safari tour .we were picked up on time and the tour guide explained where we were going.we visited the big Buddha waterfall number 1 .the mummified monk.drove up to the highest point on the island and the views were breathtaking.we stopped for lunch (not included) which was lovely.our guide om was lovely and explained each place and also made us an animal out of banana leaves and a crown.we had a,really enjoyable day
