Well, worth the money for a personal guide who catered the entire experience to me. We went everywhere I wanted to and I got good knowledge along the way. Adisorn was my guide. I loved his positive demeanor and how much he clearly loved the island and his job.

This tour was totally worth the time & money. The pickup from our hotel was seamless & on-time. Our guide, Adisorn, knew so much about the sites we chose & gave us a ton of information that was so insightful. He was also a great photographer on occasion!

Adisorn was an amazing guide! He educated us on the culture of Thailand, and really took the time to explain the significance of every site we visited. I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip with him. I'd also like to give an honorable mention to our driver, who got us safely and comfortably to each destination. Both of them were very personable! We had an amazing private customized tour of Koh Samui with Krispol. One of the best parts was having the flexibility to make the day completely our own. Our guide was wonderful and happily stopped wherever and whenever we wanted, so we never felt rushed or stuck following a rigid itinerary. We visited Magic Garden, Hin Ta & Hin Yai Rocks, Na Muang Waterfall, Haven Elephant Sanctuary, Plai Laem Temple, Lad Koh Viewpoint, and Big Buddha Temple. We were able to spend more time at the places we loved and move on when we were ready. Having a private guide made exploring Koh Samui so easy and enjoyable. We had a great tour travelling around the ring road, we saw everything on our list and more, Alecmaking some suggestions. We even were able to have a spontaneous stop at the post office in Nathon. Alec was very helpful and he looked after us.

This was a great way to spend one of our first days on the island, as it helped us be familiar with the islands and learn about the customs and traditions of the island and people! We were mostly interested in the beaches so our guide Haas took us to stops according to our wishes. It was just what we were hoping for. Totally worth it for our family of 6! Haas was kind and knowledgeable.

A great tour of the island! We were picked up from the airport, saw the highlights of the island, and were dropped off at our hotel. Madison was lovely, very informative and I could understand his English very well. The driver, I didn't catch his name, was courteous and safe. The lunch stop was great as well.

Very easy booking, let us choose our own itinerary but made recommendations to make the most of our time. Our driver (Laem, excuse my spelling) was early to our hotel. We rode in a very nice, newer minibus with good air conditioning, and ice cold water was provided during the trip. Our driver spoke excellent English and communicated very well, and was able to share facts and points of interest along our route. We had plenty of time to explore each location at our own pace and he even took photos for us. The day ended with him bringing us to a local food market where he pointed out some of his personal favorites and even helped us order and get the food packaged up to bring back to our hotel. The service was above and beyond and really made our tour experience memorable. Would highly recommend for a private tour of the island with a local touch!

Highly recommend a private and customized tour. As group travels can end up pretty hectic and stressful sometimes. Especially when some don't agree to be back at the meeting point to a certain time. This is what we wanted to avoid. We were able to tell the driver which spots interested us the most. Driver was nice and the ride felt very comfortable throughout the tour.

A great day with Heh that started right on time at Nathon Pier. Our first stop was actually a stop not planned in this activity that we booked offline… elephant feeding at the elephant sanctuary: this one hour experience was awesome. Our driver had “intermediate English” so I had the exact address and name of the site ready in Google Translate and that made it a breeze. Our driver waited for us and then was able to insert everything we had on our itinerary: Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, along with Hin Ta and Hin Ya and the Mummy temple. We wanted to see Chaweng Beach and Heh had the perfect area for the car to stop close by while we took a stroll along a public area of the beach (lots of people, but beautiful beach and water). He brought us back on time at the pier to board our ship. All in all an excellent half day tour we recommend !

Such a great way to see the Island. Our guide A was wonderful, on time, friendly, professional, and guided by our wishes, but gave us info on timeframes, even the travel times between the sites we wanted to visit. We did a 4 hour tour and finished at The Roof for a delicious lunch before heading back to Bophut. Highly recommend 👌

The guide was very good in ensuring we covered whatever we requested. There was no sense of hurrying things up. Also provided good advise in terms of food and if we need to get souvenirs

I had a fantastic tour around Koh Samui with Adisorn and a driver. I got to see the whole island and Adisorn got me back to my cruise ship in plenty of time. I highly recommended Adisorn for your tour guide! He was very knowledgable and easy to hang out with. A great way to see the island! Nong was a fantastic guide.

4 hour private tour, We were collected from the hotel lobby by our lovely driver Wat, he took us to see the things we wanted to see, he was very helpful and informative and supplied us with drinking water. At the end of the tour he dropped us at The Fisherman’s Village where we stayed for dinner. It was great to be able to tailor the tour to the places that interested us.

Our tour guide and the experience were phenomenal! While we had an idea of what we wanted to do (the guide was flexible), we still got a lot of great feedback from the tour guide. Such as where to go for good food, which temples should be a priority to visit, great beaches, and more. It was a very enjoyable experience!

We traveled on the Norwegian Sun cruise ship. We booked this tour with an English speaking guide and driver. The tour was very reasonably priced compared to the excursion offered through the cruise. The booking was easy and through the Viator app, I was able to send a message to the tour company to confirm our pick-up location at Nathon Pier. They provided very clear instructions with a map. We were met at the pier by our guide Nong (apologies for any incorrect spelling) who was holding a sign with our group name. His English was excellent. He and the driver were very courteous! We really appreciate the skill of our driver as he had to navigate through some interesting traffic and tight spaces. Nong asked us where we wanted to visit and helped us determine if all the stops were possible in the time frame we had. It's good to have an idea of the places you want to visit. Nong shared interesting facts about the places we visited and answered our questions. I highly recommend this tour and Nong as your guide. I did not catch the driver's name, but he did a great job too!

We hired a private driver and tour guide for our trip to Koh Samui, Thailand. We arrived by cruise ship and had to use a tender. They met us at the pier to start our adventure. We had a mini van for the two of us. They provided water for us as well. Our tour guide, Hart, spoke wonderful English. He was so excited to show us around his island. We had four hours and he made sure we saw everything we wanted to see, plus more. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was so easy to talk to. He made sure he took our picture at every spot to capture the moment. He even took us to a beautiful beach with beachside restaurants. We visited two waterfalls, feed the koi fish, sampled local fruits and snacks, visited the mumified monk temple, and saw the famous grandfather and grandmother rock formations. He made sure to get us back on time to get the tender boat back to our ship. We highly recommend Hart as our tour guide along with his driver. It was a perfect day.

We spent a lovely afternoon seeing the special sights of Koh samui. We were able to tailor the tour and select the places we wished to visit!

Our driver was Lun (I'm not sure if the spelling is correct.) and he made our time on the island extra fun. He was waiting for us on the dock after we tendered to shore from our ship. He drove us around the island and even had umbrellas available for when it started raining. He walked with us where necessary to get us to the best spots to see things. Our favorite thing that we did wasn't even on our agenda, it was something Lun suggested - The I Love Elephant Samui elephant sanctuary. We had a great time feeding and interacting with the elephants. Thanks for a great day experiencing your country, Lun!

Our driver , Lull,arrived punctually at our hotel on the 9th March and explained the tour schedule clearly. Highlighted the route on the map. Knowledgable with all the tour locations. Very friendly and flexible in his approach. He showed us hidden local gems we would never have found on our own. Communication between us was excellent. If you are new to the island we would highly recommend using this tour provider / Lull.

This was a six hour private tour with guide. We left the itinerary to the guide . Tour was finished in 5 hours and that included a lunch stop for 1 hour. I would suggest this should have been a 4 hour tour and have lunch after

The main issue with this private tour was the language barrier. Communication was very difficult , the guide almost didn’t understand my questions, couldn’t explain things clearly, or sometimes seemed to pretend to understand Because of this, when I asked about the history of the places we visited, I didn’t receive clear answers. It gave the impression that the guide either didn’t have enough historical knowledge or was unable to explain it in English. The strong accent also made it quite hard to understand, which required a lot of extra energy to understand That said, both the guide and the driver were very kind and friendly. They listened to our preferences and adjusted the route to what we wanted to see, which I appreciated However, for a private customized tour, the level of English communication should be much better. Clear communication is essential for this type of experience

The highlights of the trip were not close together. We spent as much time in the vehicle as we did at the sites. The tour guide picked a nice place for lunch. It was interesting to experience the traffic. The guide did not speak English well. He talked most of the time talking to the driver in their language.

The tour guide operator didn’t speak English, the few words he speak are hard to listen. Basically only drive and almost got late to get back to the cruise. Viator should not allow this type op people be tour guides. We felt cheated!!

We had a lovely day with Tony, who was very mindful of our time and needs throughout the day. We visited all the itinerary locations as well as others he suggested. There was a celebration starting near the port dock and our driver successfully skirted the traffic so we easily made it back to our cruise ship tender.

Heart and his driver were very accommodating and knowlegable. Flexibility. Service and cost were great. The van was very modern and time allocation for each stop was spit on. They even took great pictures of us. Highly recommended.

Driver/guide spoke little English and the car air conditioner didn’t work. We could not understand him.

Came off a Ritz-Carlton cruise at Koh Samui, and we were off a little early, so we had to wait in the ferry terminal for our driver. No problem. We had plenty of communications (make sure you have WhatsApp whenever you travel in Asia or anywhere else for that matter). Our driver was friendly, helpful, and a decent command of English. Took us to several sites, and when we ran out of energy (and time) he willingly took us back to our cruise. Had a great lunch on the beach! Overall, Koh Samui is a small island with a lot of character and history, and a private tour was the best way to enjoy it! This company did an excellent job! I strongly recommend you book through this because you're going to be bombarded by several vendors right on the dock, and you won't know who to choose from. Some of the other passengers we spoke with that used that option found that the guides did not speak sufficient English and they had a hard time on their tours.
