Tourist tickets 🎫 start from THB 1,500/- upwards and it’s a short distance from city center Samui. 6 matches for the nights starting with a display performance, followed by a ladies fight, and others. Highlight was the match No. 4 between 2 leading Thai boxers. This was my first Muay Thai visit and won’t be my last. 🥊
Excellent, world class fighters and they showed great respect towards one another. I recommend going as I plan on going again. Spring for the comfy VIP seats.
This was my second time watching Muai Thai gala. The worse one. Two interesting fights out of six, smell of cigarettes, not a good experience. The other one I was was on Phuket. Patong Area. Way way better
Hmm, its okay if you havent been anywhere else. Fights are half decent, but for the same price you can go to Phetchabuncha which is a much better experience and far better value for money. This place is solely aimed at unknowing tourists.
Everything was fine until the French manager decided to humiliate me in front of my wife over a simple misunderstanding about the booking email. Instead of helping, he acted arrogant and disrespectful. The rest of the staff seemed nice and the place itself is good, but this man completely ruined the visit. I’ll never go back, and I strongly recommend others to stay away until management changes.
An excellent experience I would highly recommend! Great atmosphere and amazing to see the talented fighters in the ring.
Fun. However, we were told to be there by 8:30 and it started at 9:30. We sat for over an hour for no reason. Get there before 9:30 And you’ll be fine. Also, beware that if you book VIP just do the top level so you actually get one free drink. The print is misleading. Otherwise, overall fun experience!
Good experience Incredible atmosphere with the traditional music I recomand Price is afordable regarding the quality
Used to purchase tickets. All went smoothly, showed voucher, was allowed entrance, got there early, so go great seats
I had a very positive experience attending the event. Upon arrival, my tickets were readily available at the entrance, which made the check-in process quick and hassle-free. The transaction was smooth, allowing us to settle in without any delays. The fights themselves were thrilling and well-organized, providing an exciting atmosphere that kept the audience engaged throughout the event. One thing to note is that the temperature inside the stadium can get quite hot during events, so it's advisable to dress comfortably and stay hydrated.
We were having lunch at Daddy Cook restaurant and we heard a truck with loud speakers promoting Muay Thai taking place on the very night. We were curious and were excited to watch although we heard about this famous boxing in Thailand. It is so coincidence we were here we decided to contact our guide to arrange to purchase tickets for 5 of us at the ringside. She managed to book online for us at the ringside. The stadium was majority expatriates and we were only less than 1 pct Asian present. The atmosphere was splendid with music, cheering and booing. It is an eye opening for us being the 1st audience at Muay Thai.
Great experience VIP is better than ultimate VIP which is further away. Drinks and snacks available inside and toilets
The fights take a while to warm up and there is a lot of waiting for ‘ceremony’. Once they get going it’s really fun. The area around the stadium is pretty rough so make sure you have taxi numbers or apps available. They have people in the toilets looking for tips for giving you a paper towel or a dodgy neck massage - that’s really annoying each time you want a pee.
Great fights! For one evening, we experienced the atmosphere and the Thai world Magnificent 👌🏻
Let's start with our arrival at the cashier. From the beginning, the experience leaves a bitter taste: after waiting to buy tickets at 1500 baht (about €42), we see a person passing in front of us, obviously prioritized for no good reason. The organization is already a disaster. Arriving in the stadium, we move forward and sit on blue sofas that seemed accessible. A few minutes later, a man comes to us asking for our tickets with a disdainful “ticket”. After checking, the presenter allows himself to let us go of a condescending "nice try, but your seats are at 1.5k and not at 2.5k". His haughty and arrogant tone is absolutely shocking. This gentleman, who thinks he’s the king of the island’s fighting, is really just a failed presenter with an oversized ego. A quick search on Instagram reveals a meagre 1200 followers. A pathetic attempt at notoriety. And his style... let's talk about it. I have never seen a person wear two watches at the same time. Maybe he thinks he’s in a different time zone, or he’s just lost track of good taste. Regardless, the effect is disastrous: neither credible nor elegant. At this level, it could animate fights in another dimension. And that was just the beginning. Forced to reach our “official” squares, we discover that it is simply... tiles! No cushion, no comfort. Prepare to have your butt on fire for two hours. For an event at this price, it is a scandal. The sound is absolutely horrible. Between deafening music and poor sound quality, you can hear nothing. When the presenter tries to express himself in French, English or another language, it is simply incomprehensible. An unbearable cacophony that only adds to the chaos. To top it all off, the organisation is non-existent: no one really places you, and several spectators sat on the famous blue sofas undisturbed. Clearly, the rules only apply to some, at the discretion of dear Fernando and his team. As for the fights, they are correct, but far from the level you would expect for an event that wants to be prestigious. In short, this experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Thanks to Fernando (aka “fernandokohsamui”) for his key role in this fiasco. Between his arrogance, his incompetence, a catastrophic organization and a dubious style of dress (two watches, seriously?), he can say goodbye to any ambition to escape anonymity.
