An excellent option for some relaxation—though it can be a bit nerve-wracking for some. Beautiful views from the platform. Heartfelt thanks to the staff; as always on Koh Samui, everyone is friendly and kind. Thank you.

Beautiful little trip out. Fun trip in cable car to restaurant with great views and attentive staff. Allow a couple hours and take time for a coffee or cold drink at top admiring the view. We also saw lizards, squirrels and some huge butterflies and it felt peaceful.
Brilliant few hours, views amazing, zip wire scary but worth doing.
Very friendly guides and beautiful view and cafe. 2 zip lines and back at the cafe for refreshment. Easy to get to a nice walk back down
Really enjoyable, great views from the top, the kids especially loved it. Highly recommend the trip to anyone.
It was a nice small gym where you could be yourself and just do your thing a little pricey for just a day but a nice place to workout
This activity was great fun and easy to get to. Three of our party wanted to do the zip line and two didn’t and this was no problem. We went on a great little ‘cable car’ to the viewpoint and cafe/bar where the two spectators were able to wait with a lovely cool drink and take photos as the ones on the zip line came down. Great views from the top and very reasonable cost for the experience.
We looked at the Samui zip line and it was triple the price. This was so much more relaxed and the staff at the view point were amazing. They were super reassuring and friendly!
We took a leap of faith and went for it. Arriving at the viewpoint is very spectacular and had a few photos before the zip wire. We got kitted out and pleased to say we did it. Feel proud of myself for doing this. Our grandchildren said you must do it or regret it. The personal attention was spot on and felt in very good hands. Worth every penny.
Great parking at the bottom of the hill and then friendly staff directed us to the ticket booth. Cable car is cheap and easy way to get to an amazing viewpoint and the kids took a turn on the zip lines which they enjoyed over the jungle canopy. Well worth stopping in and checking out
Don’t buy this online. We paid 2800 baht for 2 people but the acual price is 800 baht for the zipline and 100 baht for the cable car per person. We overpaid 1000 baht. There was no transfer included. Very expensive activity for 2 ziplines. The whole thing is over in 5 minutes. It is a beautiful view but you need to just go there and buy the entrance ticket at the viewpoint, NOT online. Feeling very ripped off.
Straight off, I’m going to get the excuses in. We’re both deep into our 60s and we’re both carrying a few pounds (ahem). It was 37 degrees, very humid and had rained all morning. We actually planned on walking to Grandfather Rock and the Stone Snake Pagoda Temple but by the time we reached the turn off for the Viewpoint, a Songthiew was already looking like a better alternative, due to the slope from the Beach Road up to the main road. The Sales Office is a few minutes walk from the main road. For a mere B100 you can make your way up the north face of the Eiger to the Viewpoint. For an extra B100 each you can climb most of the hill by cable car. The Office Girl said it was a 2 minute walk to the cable car station. I beg to differ. I think a fit 22 year old carrying no weight would struggle to do that in under 2 minutes. We had no chance. The cable car operator must’ve been watching us strike out up the precarious slippery slope for best part of 10 minutes in anticipation of a jaunt up K2. The cable car looked like a Skip with 6 seats. (A skip is an open container in the U.K. which you hire to dump rubble and rubbish in, generally during building work on your house). We never bothered with the Valentine Rock or the Overlap Stone, I’ve seen rocks before. We went straight for the bar for a rest, get our breath back, have a look at the view and get stung £8.80 for 2 smoothies. We did walk all the way to the temple via the Grandfather Rock, but it does beg the question…was it worth it?
100 Baht is the entrance fee but you’ll need to walk up. 200 Baht is the entrance fee + cable car ride. 800 Baht is the entrance fee + cable car + Zip lining. Described as a rather steep path by the receptionist, we chose not to take the challenge over a difference of 100 Baht and to took the cable car ride up plus 1 zip lining but guess what? We still had to walk about 70m to the cable car and if that path was an indication of the walking route, then we made the right choice. We were all sweaty and tired, even the guys behind me cracked a joke saying we needed a cable car ride to the cable car station! Maintenance of the toilets at the entrance could be improved, the Valentine stones/sculptures…I’ll leave it to individual interpretation, the menu at the restaurant at the lookout point was rather pricy and not very tempting, but the staffs were all very polite, friendly and welcoming so that was a plus point, however, despite not facing the setting sun, the views are nice enough if you keep your eye level up. The highlight was my teen enjoying his first zip lining and my love of fresh air and beautiful lush tropical trees surrounding the area.
Visited on 4 July 23. We paid the basic entrance fee + zip lining. The cable car really isn’t necessary unless you have mobility problems. Even then, you still need to negotiate some uneven stairs just to get to the cable car. The zip lining was fun. I felt very safe. A guide accompanies you on the first leg of the trip. On the second leg, you can go on your own. The view is lovely and panoramic. You’ll probably want to enjoy a beverage in the cafe at the top of the view point.
We had so much fun. And the view is amazing . Very secure. We loved it. The staff was also very nice and helpful. We recommend this tour👌
The "funny foot spa" what an experience. Nothing like the small fish at the normal spa 😁. The zip line was amazing!!! I have a fear of heights and the instructors were absolutely awesome to make it easy for me.
Amazing staff, everybody was so lovely and helpful, i was little bit scared and they been so supportive and nice🙏❤️ nice thai tea with the amazing view, the only thing (after i stoped been scared😏) we wished that zip line would be longer. Its a 10 min max experience . Amazing view at zip line .
Overall, the staff were friendly. There wasn’t much of a briefing communicated to my Fiancé and I to give instructions and a little bit of a pre-start. It was more or less, suit up and let’s do this, but the guys were great at relieving the nerves. The cable cart could’ve went a little bit further up the mountain as there was still a little ways to walk at the end of it. Lol Was a great experience and beautiful views.
Had a really good time doing this. Nice bit of fun. Fantastic views and a great restaurant/staff. The overall experience was really enjoyable and would highly recommend.
Loved this visit whilst we were in Koh Samui. View is great and two zip lines are enjoyable. Well managed and safety taken seriously. Cable car is quite the experience
Great morning out here great view over lamai zip line was great fun, fish foot Spa even funnier nice staff, well worth a visit
I bought the full package of Lamai Viewpoint including Fish spa, Cable Car & Zip Lining. Fish Spa: You can enjoy it without time limit. It is in a natural pond with many big fish. Cable Car: It should be a classic cable car without a shelter. It is quite oblique and very exciting. Zip Lining: Very exhilarating. You will pass through like 200m and without safety net in the mid-air. The coach will teach you how to do it and bring you together if you are afraid. View Point: Very relaxing place that you can enjoy the sea view and sky of Lamai. Restaurant: 49 bath for each person to enjoy noodle, curry, desert & Tom Yum. And you will be shocked with the vegetable set (Not tasty but very big and various!) We enjoy the half day before the flight which was a perfect idea :)
It was amazing. I would recommend it so much. Deffo a must see in Thailand!! The fish spa and the zip line are good fun
Had such a great time here, the view was amazing and the people were all so wonderful. Pretty rustic but charming. The fish foot spa was hilarious but I couldn’t keep my feet in the water long enough. Food was okay but service was really good and so was the view.
The places need to go through a small road and deep area. Make sure alert with Google maps. You can go up there by cable car which is costing 200 bath. But also have to walk from the entrance to the cable car may be like 2km. The view is nice and also have a zip line. After taking pictures don't forget to try the waffle with ice cream. Overall is awesome.
Loved the view from up there and the zip lining was amazing. The fish spa tops it all up! We got this at a discount so it was cheaper than original price at the place, was great value for money.
We had a great time with the ziplines, although there are only two, and enjoyed a drink after to take in the awesome views!
This place is great. Once you arrive, you hike for a few minutes, then the cable car (not hanging, more of a cart on a slope) takes you to the very top where there's a small bar. I think they sell some food, but they definitely have cold beers. The view is amazing, great for pictures. Then at the bar the strap you up for the zip line, climb a few steps where they get you ready to go. The zip line in itself is small, with only 2 lines but a lots of fun. Good place.
Booked this trip with Viator.com All in all the experience of ziplining was good, but very short just two rides of approx 450 metres long. Seemed it had finished before we had even started, perhaps our own expectations were too high, compared to other excursions we had already done in Koi Samui! Very pleasant views for the top though. very pleasant staff.
A great place to visit in Lamai if you want to get away from the beach and bars for a while. For your 200 baht you get to use the cablecar to take you up to the viewpoint as well as making use of the fish spa. You can walk to the top for 100 baht if you fancy. Once at the top, you can take a seat in the restaurant and enjoy the view while enjoying a drink or a bite to eat, all reasonably priced. While there, take advantage of the egg hanging chairs to relax.
Beautiful spot, cable car up then a nice relaxing smoothie before zip line which was brilliant, lovely staff felt very safe throughout. Great day out
Lamai view point has three activities, funny fish spa, cable car to the top, and zip line. If you don’t take the cable to the top you have to take your way by stairs, uneven curvy stairs. Please enjoy few minutes with fish spa before enjoying your stay at the top balcony. Zip line is great activity with good rush of adrenaline. Two ways by zip line is more than enough to make your day.
Greeted by very friendly staff, pricing was clear. 1000 baht for cable car and zip slide, 200 baht for cable car alone. Cable car takes you up and down to the view point, where you take a further 2 minute walk to the zip line. Two zip lines are great fun, and very safe. Cafe at viewpoint serves much needed refreshments reasonably priced.
Having recently discovered the joys of Zip Lining, visiting here was a must. This is one of those attractions that has probably been saved by both the cable car and the Zip Lines as without them all you have is a view point. The round trip for 2 people was 2000TBH and starts with a cable car ride up to the viewing platform. There are lots of photo opportunities up here and a bar that serves both soft drinks and alcohol. The Zip line is by far the best bit. We had 2 instructors who kitted us up and we both felt safe throughout. This is a double zip line rather than a single one which makes it incredibly safe. The journey is over 2 runs of 450m each and you are 80m above the ground. As always with zip lining, the first challenge is throwing yourself off but a gentle push from our instructor soon sent us on our way and it was great fun.
Can only recommend it, it was a great trip! Bay on site, that was cheaper. You park well on site and the drinks upstairs were delicious.
A welcome short change. I highly recommend it. It was fun and well suited for children. The safety aspect was also guaranteed! All in all COOOL. Value for money also ok!
You can’t miss the zipline view, mountain cafes, beach views, and the fun zipline, good value for money and helpful staff.
Very nice morning... We start with the funicular, followed by a drink at the bar with a magnificent view. Then instructions before the two ziplines. A first for me and it's really nice! We end up with the fish spa during which we all laughed a lot... The staff is extremely kind. A very good time, I advise.
Currently all prices are reduced......and that's fair. Without Waiting time we took the cable car upstairs. Totally nice staff served good and inexpensive drinks as well as great dishes. The view is clouded only by a large hall at the foot of the mountain.
The trip was definitely worth it. Great view. Even the gastronomy was open and over a Thaitea we enjoyed the panorama
WARTO!
Cozy viewpoint with bar/restaurant high up in the mountain with wonderful views of Lamai where you can get away from all life and just sit and enjoy the view and tranquility.
Place with waterfalls a few stones and a breathtaking view of lamai. To see. Climbing up a bar will be your terrace and you will enjoy a complete overview....
