Grandfather and Grandmother Rock are among the most popular attractions on Koh Samui near Lamai Beach. Their names are Grandfather Rock and Grandmother Rock they are just simple granite rock formations. The reason why they are so famous is simple as they resemble male and female genitalia.
people are amazed at the mystery and unpredictability of Buddhism. It is said that this eminent monk has the ability to predict and accurately predicted his own death. Before his death, he stopped eating normal food, but ate more spices with antiseptic function. In this way, after his death, the corpse can be preserved completely, and it will no longer rot and deteriorate. Now the people in the temple put a pair of sunglasses on the face of the flesh to cover up the void. burn incense and flowers to the flesh Buddha, and no one is there to collect money, only a merit box. Flowers, candles and incense are placed on the table, depending on your own wishes, you can take some money and put it into the merit box, or you can take the offerings yourself. In addition, you can ask for a lottery inside, and give it to the monks there, and they will sprinkle holy water on your head and release the lottery for you at the same time.
This Waterfall 1 is the best part of the falls The base of the waterfall is quite cool. (Water flow varies depending on the season and rainfall.)
the trip up the mountain to this restaurant with the most amazing view. Food was freshly cooked and of good quality were reasonable despite the remote location.
Beautiful place in the heart of Koh Samui. The temple with a standing Buddha is located in the jungle, high in the mountains.
The Secret Garden,or Tannins Waterfall otherwise known as the Magic Garden or Secret Buddha Garden can be found in the hills of Koh Samui and was built by a local Samui fruit farmer, Nim Thongsuk, starting it in 1976 when he was 77 years old. The Secret Garden is a beautiful landscaped garden featuring flowers and trees native to Koh Samui and Thailand and many Buddha statues with different meanings arranged in scenarios representing different ideals, which your tour guide will explain to you. Winding through the garden is is a little stream and a series of miniature waterfalls. The only way to get there is through the jungle, rivers and mountains by 4×4. The roads leading through the hills is impressive but stick to the main road, it can be interesting turning. (Water flow varies depending on the season and rainfall.)
most of them are Samui people with authentic Thai ancestry, who live in the middle and upper part of the island, working in farming. Gardening, especially where the most popular area
In the neighborhood of Koh Samui lies the pretty Nathon Town, which is famous for its picturesque sunset view and street food markets. Located on the island's Western coast, Nathon Town has been the leading urban and economic center of Koh Samui due to its fishing and coconut industry that has now remained as a typical local character. Besides, the town is also the island's main port as here comes and leaves many ferry routes from the Thai mainland and to other islands such as Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, etc. Therefore, it is often widely known as the capital town of Koh Samui.

Was such an awesome experience! Great guides and saw a lot of the must sees on the island
The tour was good but i would have enjoyed it more if the water fall had water but due to the month was told there would be no water, i loved the jungle tour sat on top of jeep outside made it more exciting and had great views of every thing i would deffinatley recomened this tour and our guide was amazing thank you
We had a great day with Bob Marley, the name of the Jeep. The number of wonderful sites visited was just right. The day culminated in all out war. Everyone was given a water bottle spray gun, no one was dry by the end. Do take a towel & dry clothes should you want a more comfortable return trip. What a great day, thank you Bob for a great day!
Went on this tour with family that came in town, we had the best time! Water fight at the end made it even more fun! Highly recommend!
Lots of fun and a great way to see Koh Samui, including hard to reach areas in the jungle. Delicious lunch on mountain. Well thought out, with friendly, professional driver and tour guide.
Lots of fun. Great drivers, got to see lots of the island, they made it a fun day out for all. Pick up and drop off back at our out of the way villa was no problems.
Fun water fight and experience on top of the car although remember to duck before the branches hit you 😂 lunch was ok and the high viewpoint was great
The whole experience from start to finish was informative, educational an very well organised considering there is a lot of competition out there.
A fun trip around some of the sights of Samui and its jungle. In an old Jeep ( 55 yr old!). On a hot day sitting in the front you could sense the heat radiating from the engine, road and surrounds. At the back the breeze made it more tolerable! There were designated stops once all the tour members were gathered (4 others in addition to us 5) which included the grandfather/mother rocks, mummified monk, a waterfall, big Buddha and Magic Garden. There was lunch served of traditional Thai food with vegetarian options if you so choose. Optional drinks can be ordered. The highlight has to be the water fight between the three different teams. It drenched you but in the heat it was very welcome. Given that we were at the end of the dry season there was not a lot in the waterfalls.
Great day out. Saw a few key attractions on the island but arguably the best part of the day was rising on the top of the jeep and the water fight in the afternoon. Some great views, a tasty lunch, and a good day for the family - our kids are 10 and 12 and loved it too.
Good experience overall. Guides were friendly and upbeat always. Itineraries were well explained and journey was quite exciting. The water fight in the end of the journey was the highlight. Bring a change of clothes if u would like to keep dry after the water battle.
Absolutely loved this trip. Was a full day with many different stops and things to see and do. Wonderful Thai lunch up high in the mountains. Best part of the trip was riding on top of the jeep and our wonderful guides. All were great but thank you Johnny Depp for your information and for making it a really fun day. Highly recommend
Fun tour on roads you might not normally be on. Sitting on top of the Jeep fighting tree branches. An exciting thrill you shouldn't miss.
It was an amazing day. Our driver and guide Johnny was very knowledgeable and funny . Very well organised trip. Top places to see, plus a spectacular view. A must to participate a water battle at the end. All the team were doing their best to make us feel great. Thank you. 😍
It was interesting and great fun! If you like something real and enjoy meeting some lovely people this is for you! We swam in a waterfall, we had great fun riding on top of the jeeps, had one of the best Thai meals of our holiday, an epic water battle and enjoyed the friendly banter with our drivers. Great relaxed day!!!
An amazing day filled with wonderful experiences and a trip back to our childhood with the water fight. Five stars is not enough for this experience . Such fun !
Rating one, as there is no zero. This is not a tour, merely transport around the island. The guide was not knowledgeable, only paraphrasing the signs in front of the temple. And although he kept insisting that it is a buddhist country, he clearly had no knowledge of buddhism and had never heard of Tuhkdam, a phenomenon known for tibbetan monks dying while meditating (cf. mummified monk visit). Moreover, during the jungle drive a "water battle" was organised. This was not part of the tour description. Unfortunately, once the majority of the group had agreed to it, there was no way to opt out of it ! Says a lot about the status of consent in our world... Also no rain jacket or any alternative was provided for those who wished to stay dry.. Well, if I had wanted to be drenched wet, I would have booked a snorkeling tour. I wanted to see the jungle, which is really hard to do when people constantly spray water in your face !! But obviously, it seemed most convenient to the so called "guide" who had NO word to say about the local jungle.. The food was however good.
Top rated trip with brilliant guide great food and amazing all around trip experience highly recommended this trip of all ages
Jango, our driver and guide was a lot of fun. This was a fantastic day full of amazing scenery and good food. Bonus, I got to meet some really nice people and had a lot of laughs
Great experience lots to see and our kids had a fantastic time . Be prepared to get wet as the water fight is a great touch on a hot day
Lunch was the best! No idea what anything was but it was all good and plentiful. It is a good way to get out of the cities and see some of this amazing jungle. It wasn’t the day for me to be visiting all the temples but clearly others in the group enjoyed it. Not sure what about this tour qualifies as Eco. The 60’s era jeeps with noisy mufflers? Not by my standards.
This was a good trip and we stopped at several points of interest. I was hoping the guide without take us around some of the temples and Buddha's to explain more about what we were looking at but we were told very briefly and left to our own devices for a short amount of time before we moved on to the next stop. The food was amazing and overall we had a fun day out :)
Great fun way of seeing the main sights of Koh Samui in a day - bouncing along in ex-army jeeps is way more memorable than tripping around in an air conditioned minivan! We were very lucky with a fabulous weather, stunning views, a fun driver and great travelling companions. Best end to our Thailand travels that we could’ve hoped for
Everything was great!! The Jeep was a great choice. Jungle tour was so much fun. We would do it again!!!
This was one of the best sight-seeing tours I’ve ever been on. It’s a great way to see a lot of the island, and you won’t forget the 4WD surprise as you travel in the group. Loads of fun, great guides and a full day - highly recommended.
This tour was such a blast!! amazing experience with a good tour guide and professional off road driver!
I ve done this tour before and it lived up to expectations We had a massive downpour on the mountain which led to a bit of flooding Mr Deng did some expert driving to get us home safely
Absolutely rate this tour! So many great sites, the jeeps are a great way around, small group size, great food, great communication from tour. Johnny the guide was informative and hilarious. Even though we had mega downpours it didn't dampen this trip one bit. 5 great big stars. Loved it.
Very good value for money, entertaining and good guides. You see a lot of the island on this day trip and most of the recommended “things to do”. Zip lining and water slides extra if you’re feeling even more adventurous. Some climbing steps involved. Really great day out
Incredible experience! We loved everything. The jeep tour is really worth it. It would not have been the same experience in a van. The guide offered for us to sit on top when we were in the jungle. It was really fun. And you have to do the water fight they offer. At first we weren't sure but lucky we did it! :)
It was a very nice trip and was a lot of fun for us. We can only recommend it. The tour guide was top-notch, explained everything super well, and made it very funny with his slightly relaxed manner! The food was great, and the sights provided a completely different picture of Koh Samui! Especially the water fight to cool off on such warm days was fun, and everyone participated and had the time of their lives.
Overall, a great day. The destinations visited were truly impressive, and the tour operators were very friendly. Clear recommendation!
Everything was super neatly arranged
Horny jeeps brutally directed simple but brutal look. The guids were great too. For this ride you need a jeep not always there is a drivable road
A really good experience. It was exciting to see the attractions that the tour offers, and the guide was both knowledgeable, engaged and had a good sense of humor. The tour offered beautiful surroundings, a lovely lunch with a fantastic view – and as an extra fun feature a entertaining water fight. Can definitely be recommended.
Totally super... despite rain.. good orga, crass jeeps, funny tour guidance! Must make... Mega good lunch..
Beautiful experience! Lots of sights included, besides you can sit in the jungle on the roof of the car which was very cool;) At the end there was still a fun water fight ^^
Outlook was unfortunately not so good due to the rainy weather. The ride up the mountain at the top of the jeep was very fun. Lunch was unfortunately cold and not necessarily the most tasty for Thai food. On the whole, however, a recommended excursion
It was a long day with lots of peat stops. You have seen all the highlights of the island in one day. With a safari edge and that was very nice. It might be a few stops too many but definitely worth it. Please note that you can be away from home for 8 / 8.5 hours. Especially if you're the first to pick them up.
It was a fun trip with information about the individual stations. There was plenty of fun too. Small inconvenience: the loading area smelled terribly of exhaust fumes (take a damp cloth for your nose)
Les paysages étaient magnifiques. J'ai beaucoup aimé traverser la jungle sur la piste malgré les secousses. La nourriture au restaurant était à tomber! La bataille d'eau finale à mis une chouette ambiance!
The day was pretty rainy, but we still had our fun. We particularly liked the waterfall: there we could refresh ourselves in a natural pool in the cool water. The ride up the mountain was very spectacular and was especially fun on the seats above the driver's cab. Our driver also came up with some daring manoeuvres, but we felt safe at all times. A good mix of action, fun and culture. We'll be back!
Excellente journée avec de nombreuses activités et les principaux points d’interêt de l’île. Le tour est très bien organisé!
