Amazing trip! The guides and caretakers are incredible with caring for the elephants, and they gave us an excellent experience. Really enjoyed our time here and I can recommend it for anyone, loved the video they made for us from our trip as well.

I cannot recommend the Koh Samui Elephant Sanctuary highly enough. Everything from collection to drop off at the hotel was meticulously organized. All the guides and keepers were friendly and knowledgeable and clearly care very much for the elephants. It was a really informative morning and all the activities were enjoyable but also respectful of these wonderful creatures. Thank you to Fang, Mint, Molly and Bestie, and everyone else.

Great and informative experience. Lovely to get up close to these magnificent beasts and learn more about them. A recommended activity for all if in the area.

Great experience from start to finish, the driver collected us when he said he would. We got to make food for the elephants, feed it to them, walk with them into the jungle and then help plant trees, with a sling shot, for the future.

An absolutely wonderful experience! The guides are so kind and so full of knowledge. The care and attention given to the elephants had us in awe. They are so protective and mindful of the elephants welfare and ensure they are priority. The food served after the tour was absolutely delicious. We left feeling so happy and on a high. Will recommend to any and everyone.

Wonderful experience and happy to be supporting such a great cause too. Spending time up close with elephants that have been rescued from terrible lives and now receiving so much care was great and a bonus to have a video of our time there.

Well done from start to finish. Employees are passionate about their job. We have a 17 year old and 20 year old. The entire family enjoyed it. Tremendous value for what is offered.

We had a wonderful time visiting Elephant Nature care, it was a great mix of cool different experiences. We started off making elephant food and seed balls (for helping grow more food) and then feeding the elephants in small groups. After that we went into the jungle/field and observed the elephants in the wild, this also included opportunities for people to take pictures in a natural setting with the elephants. We got about 30-45 minutes here and then went to an observation deck where we could watch an elephant bathe herself in the mud. We also got to use slingshots (away from the elephant) to shoot our seed balls into the field which was a lot of fun. After a short walk returning to the entrance, we had an opportunity to individually line up to wash the mud off of an elephant, and then watch the elephant clean off in a pool as well. There was a video viewing and a change to check out the gift shop before returning to the vehicles to our hotels. Overall this was a great experience that our whole group enjoyed. It felt very much like the animals are cared for and respected, there was a moment where an elephant wasn’t interested in taking pictures with anyone and they made sure to allow her space and there was no forcing the elephant to comply in anyway, we were just guided to a different elephant that was okay with people being around. The only thing I didn’t love was that we were there in a very large group (50-75 people or so), though it was nice that we were all split into smaller groups (8-10 people). I do wish there was an option to have a private or small group experience, especially when walking around the field with the elephants. I also wish we had more time to do this- as a photographer I did really want to a bit more time observing and photographing them. As a whole though, this was an awesome experience and we loved it all and would definitely return.

Incredible experience! Amazing journey through the elephant sanctuary! The work being done at this sanctuary is nothing short of Amazing! Angie and the other tour guides and elephant handlers were all awesome! Learned how to make food and experienced feeding an elephant for the first time. Didn't want the tour to end! Great experience! You get to learn about and see the elephants up close. For me, it was the right amount of time, around 3-4 hrs.

Excellent tour, the service and the tour itself was amazing. They really take care of the animals. Treat them with respect and also you can see them. Hopefully they can take care of them forever.

This is an experience that will stay with us for a while, it was fantastic to interact with the elephants in the natural habitat. Everyone in our group had a smile on their face the whole time. It was wonderful to know the elephants were not pushed to "perform", you took them as you found them, much like human interactions. If you want to see elephants, abhor the elephant rides etc, want a hands on experience, I highly recommend this tour.

The best elephant conservation home we’ve been to. The elephants are well taken care of and all the activities over the 3 hours were phenomenal, one of the most wholesome experiences we’ve been to.

My wife and I booked this as an activity on our honeymoon. We visited the sanctuary in May 2026. Pros: - The facilities are extremely nice. - The onsite staff is awesome and passionate. - The center is a humane elephant sanctuary. Cons: - No power when we visited. - The burning trash smell was dangerous to breathe. - The ride from where we were staying was uncomfortable. If you want to enjoy your outing, follow these tips: - Book your own private transfer. It’s worth the extra money as traffic is very heavy on Koh Samui, and riding in a shared van takes extra time and isn’t comfortable. - Inquire beforehand if the facility has power. - Inquire beforehand if trash will be burned next door during your visit. In full disclosure, we got a Grab to leave early because of the power and burning trash situation. We requested and did not receive a refund.

What an amazing morning. From learning about the teams vision and dedication to the elephants, to the sustainability of their food sources and how they plan that. Then making their food and feeding them was awesome and then watching them enjoy their time in their jungle. Was truly a joy to experience and thank you to the wonderful team that care for these beautiful animals every day. Thank you for my daughter’s wonderful birthday gift as well.

A really enjoyable experience. We learned about the elephants, prepared elephant food and fed them. We also got to spend time with them in the jungle. We were given great food, snacks & drinks. We were also given a video of our visit. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and ensured everyone had a great time. Highly recommended.

Very well orgsnised Tour. Pick up and drop off at hotel. English speaking staff and very well structured day. It's clear the staff care about the elephants and ut was a lovely opportunity learn about the elephants and interact with them. Such an enjoyable day. Staff took care to protect us from the sun, keep us hydrated and provided a light lunch. Highly recommended and great to know money is going to such a worthwhile cause.

This tour was highly unorganized from the start. I arrived at the meeting point 15 minutes early and checked with 3 different vendors holding signs for the elephant sanctuary, but none of them were for our tour. About 10 mins after the scheduled meeting time, a few of us were confused and asking around to figure out which guide we belonged to, but no one seemed to know. One of the other guides even made a phone call for me trying to figure things out. After all the other groups had left, I contacted the company and was told to wait. A man pulled up in a van. He spoke very little English, but based on his clipboard, we realized we were part of his group. He drove us to the sanctuary and we arrived late. Because of the delay, we were asked if we wanted to spend more time with the elephants and skip lunch. Most of us agreed, and someone asked if lunch could be packed to go. The Samui Elephant Home sanctuary itself was very nice, clean, well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly kind and informative. The ladies there did a wonderful job sharing the history of each elephant, and I loved that we were able to see them roaming freely in a more natural, jungle-like environment. The handlers working directly with the elephants seemed somewhat impatient and annoyed with the group and whole process. As we were leaving, I noticed one of them standing next to an elephant smoking a cigarette, which didn’t seem appropriate or healthy for the animals. On a positive note, the staff kindly packed our lunches for us before we left, and the food was delicious. Overall, while the sanctuary itself was a great experience, the lack of organization and coordination from the tour company took away from what could have been a much better day.

The sanctuary is lovely and the tour is overall well structured. A few thing to mention though: the whole tour from the moment you get picked up till you are dropped off is 5h, not 3. If you are staying in the north of Koh Samui, you are 1h away from the sanctuary. The pick up car was an open truck (no AC, you are in the heat for 1h straight)- it’s exhausting, especially during the heat peak (you get picked up at 1pm).

We had such a great time with the elephants! They were incredibly sweet and gentle. We got to prepare food for them, feed them plenty, and even help bathe them, which was such a special experience. It was amazing to see them roaming freely in a large, open space. We also appreciated seeing the many certifications they have showing their commitment to proper elephant care. It’s inspiring that they hope to build an elephant hospital in the future once they have enough funding. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the island. Thank you for such a memorable experience—we’ll never forget it!

Strongly recommend this tour. Had acgreat time feeding and interacting with multiple elephants in their natural habitat. Guides were knowledgeable, informative and professional. Sad hearing the back stories of the elephants, but happy they have been rescued. The tour waited for use past the start time while we got tendered from our cruise ship. Princess Cruise Line, prioritized elite passengers and people with ship excursions over passengers who privately booked tours.

It's quite hands on albeit not all of a total of 9 elephants can be touched. U make food & feed them. Drivers to/from hotel were very good. Beverages & a substantial snack was also included.

The best ever! Shady area, beautiful, wonderful people who take care of elephants. One of the best shore excursions I have ever had!

We had an excellent 3hr experience where we prepared some food for the elephants, fed one, saw eight others then walked to a field and watched the elephants eat. We then watched an elephant, close up, have some fun time in a pool. A simple but nice meal was provided along with water, orange juice, tea/coffee. The staff were very informative, polite and answered all the questions asked. We were all provided, via email, with a short video our time with the elephants. It was clear the elephants were well cared for and the staff were dedicated to them. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience!! From contact as soon as we had booked, to maps of exactly where to meet the driver, who was very helpful. The Team at the sanctuary were knowledgeable and the elephants were amazing. To see them in their natural habitat and thriving, after hearing some awful stories of their past, was definitely worth the trip. From learning about the individual elephants and how they are being looked after, to making their food, feeding them, seeing them in the jungle, and enjoying a mud and water bath! Value for money and definitely worth doing when in Koh Samui.

We had a fantastic morning trip. Well organized from pickup from our hotel. Relevant information provided. Got to feed the elephants on their terms. Animal welfare is priority. Well organized. Nice foods. Nice hats to borrow. Helpful with taking pictures. Plenty of water. Didn’t “beg” for more donations/money. Just overall Excellent and fantastic activity. And Animal welfare above all.

Excellent experience looking at these beautiful animals being looked after very well. Had the opportunity to create vitamins and feed the animals and to watch them roam in the jungle. I would definitely recommend this.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. So much fun making the treats for the elephants and so glad that these magnificent creatures are finally being rescued and are able to live a happy life! Thanks so much to all!

Had a really lovely visit to Samui Elephant Home which is clearly a sanctuary for these lovely animals where their welfare is paramount. After a fascinating journey round the Samui coastline we were greeted by the team with a very well put together and informative overview of the elephants and then the opportunity to make food for them from grass and seeds with banana, pumpkin and tamarind. Following that we could feed an elephant by hand and then go to see them in there jungle area. One was having a mudbath and another having a wash. It was a lovely experience (lunch looked good too) and with huge thanks to the guides Nok, Noey, Best & Patty who looked after us so well. Most of all thanks to the elephants who deserve the love and care of this wonderful place

Absolutely amazing experience visiting the elephant sanctuary with my two year old daughter. She loved making the elephant’s breakfast and feeding them, and we were able to ride in a jeep through the jungle. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they also took great pics and videos. Highly recommend this activity for everyone - the highlight of our trip so far!

This was one of my favorite tours of my trip. One of the best experiences of my life. It was a great experience to learned about the elephants and how they were rescued. Preparing the food and feeding them was so great. We also got to walk around their habitat and watch them enjoy nature. After spending an afternoon with the elephants, I am even more in love with these gentle giants !! I definitely recommend this tour to any animal lover.!!

We loved this experience! It was educational, ethical and fun. We made food for the elephants, fed the elephants and enjoyed time with them in nature. Everyone was so friendly and willing to answer every question. They made a free video for us and took lots of photos so we have some great memories. Love the work they’re putting in to save the elephants from some horrible work around Thailand and would encourage everyone to visit a place like this where they treat the elephants like they deserve 🩷

Excellent attraction, great to see the elephants so well looked after. Great to get up close and get involved with the feeding of these gracious animals.

It was ok but the feeding and touching of elephants weren't shared equally between all visitors. We didn't touch any elephants and feeding was a minimum which was a shame
