Koh Samui Sightseeing Tour By Minivan

Had a lovely tour despite the deluge of rain at the start. Hong, our guide, was full of great stories and kept us entertained. Eddie, our driver, was great. Altogether felt we had learned a lot and had a great time. Thank you

Excellent tour of koh samui - shout iut to our guide Nikki, who brought so much energy and passion to the tour. For the price I was not expecting much more than transport but Nikki was great, took us to the main viewpoints, and understood a good level of English. I managed to have a quick lunch at the last stop (waterfall) which was useful given you get back later in the afternoon to the hotel

We had plenty time at each site The only downside for us was we were picked up first and dropped off last which meant a little more travelling but I suppose it depends where your hotel is situated

The tour itself was fine and followed a standard program, but the description is highly misleading and contradictory. Under the 'Pick up time' section, it clearly states a timeframe for Lipa Noi (08:00-08:15 am), which led us to believe a pickup was available. However, another part of the description claims this area is excluded. Because of this chaos, we were forced to pay an extra 650 THB for a private taxi to a 7-Eleven that suited the organizer. We were even willing to pay an extra fee directly to the organizer for a pickup from our location, but there was no willingness to cooperate on their part. What’s worse, even though the driver was able to drop us off directly at our hotel on the way back (proving it wasn't a logistical issue), the office staff on WhatsApp remained unhelpful, insistently texting: 'Pick up and drop off is the same location please.' Most other operators in Koh Samui include Lipa Noi without these hidden costs or stressful communication. Mixed feelings—I wouldn’t book with them again

Great way to see lots of the island’s sites without having to sort transport to each place individually. Our guide was friendly and informative, she told us interesting information at each site and told us about the relevance to Thai culture. She also offered to take pictures of us at the sites. We were provided cold bottled water and had the opportunity to buy food at some of the sites too.

Very nice trip in 4 hours . Our guide Hart was very nice and shared good information about visited placed.

We were picked up on time by our driver at our resort and taken to the first stop to meet our guide and the other four people in our tour. We were driven around the eastern half of the island and visited some of main places of interest. Our driver was very competent and drove safely in the comfortable air conditioned van. We were offered water half way through the tour. Our tour guide was brilliant . She was so bubbly, friendly and very knowledgeable. She gave us a wonderful, enjoyable morning.

Very comfortable tour to some of the highlights. Everything went smoothly and on time. Our guide (Adisorn) and driver (Iaka) we're great. Safe driving through very narrow streets, impressive! And Adisorn was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions. We had enough time to see what we wanted to see. Excellent trip. Thank you!

I'll be honest: I'm an English teacher on a strict budget, and this was the cheapest Koh Samui island tour I could find, but I think it was a great value for the money. I went on the tour solo, and unfortunately the rest of the group (only four other people, so plenty of room in the van) were not very talkative, but the tour guide (Nicky) did a good job remaining upbeat and friendly even with the unresponsive group. I think having a Thai tour guide is best, because she could explain the local culture and traditions in detail with a personal touch. I wouldn't change anything about the tour, because I think the spots chosen were perfect for the length of the tour, but next time I would take a longer tour and hopefully see more sights in the remote areas of the island (I really loved the grandmother/grandfather rocks and the waterfall area).

This semi-private tour was excellent for seeing the top spots in Samui. It was fun to travel with others from around the world, and Nikki was an awesome guide who explained each spot. Highly recommend this tour.

Niki was a great guide and showed us all the beautiful spots in Koh Samui. She even provided home made curry puffs which were delicious!

Booked without a guide, was lucky enough to get Nike ( Nicky ) was a lot better with a guide. She loved her country and her job. Took loads of photos, explained everything. All in all a great trip.

It was nice a drive around the island, sightseeing , view point , temples , waterfall, Granma , Granpa.

Great island trip. It was only 4 of us in the van, so we had heaps of room. The driver was very good and the van was clean and cool. Just be aware that this tour didn’t include a guide, so you were required to read the signs etc, which we had no problems doing. Great oversight of the island.

We had an enjoyable morning and covered the major sights to see on Koh Samui. Our driver was safe, turned up on time and the van was air conditioned. Our guide was friendly, considerate and helpful with good English - we learned a lot about Buddhism. There are many tours doing the same route and all of the sites visited were crowded, the waterfall at the last stop was crowded with muddy water and not worth a swim.

Worth every dollar. Half day tour and a lot to see around the island. 10 out 10 experience for culture.

Definite value for money, got to see parts of the island that we would not have probably seen with very helpful and informative staff and guide. Good communication prior to the tour. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic experience on this tour! Our guide patiently took us to all the most important sights around Koh Samui, always making sure we had enough time to enjoy each place. He explained everything clearly in English and shared lots of interesting local insights. This is definitely the best and most convenient way to explore the island—highly recommended!

Good organized tour with minivan. Pick up at the hotel and return. Only one bottle of water during the tour. Tour guide spoke English but not all was well understood.

I was first to picked up at my hotel at 9:10am. We did three more hotel pick ups. We then drove to the first stop where we were met by the guide. There after, we ticked off the stops mentioned in the itinerary. At each stop we were given 15 to 20min depending. This just right. I mean, after you have taken in the view, what else is there? The guide and the drive both has reasonable English and were very friendly. If i were to suggest something to improve, I would say - put a microphone in the van. I was at the back and I couldn't catch what was being said by the guide. That aside, i would recommend the experience to other travellers.

This is an odd review because we did see a lot in the time allocated , however it was all at breakneck speed!! The final stop was at Ma Muang Waterfall which is OK, but the elephants in very small areas in the car park offering rides to customers finished me off... swaying and all with a dead look in their eyes, so so sad and something organisers should be avoiding!! There are responsible places to see elephants in Thailand, this is not one of them!!! Get yourselves a private taxi and seek out those .take your time and check itinaries and avoid those who even mention elephant rides!!

Be careful what tour you sign up for, especially if Na Mueang Waterfall is a stop. There is an elephant riding business right beside the waterfall, all in the same parking lot. The elephants look unwell and in distress shaking. I wish I knew this stop had that as well, because I would never indirectly or directly support a business that supports animal cruelty. Do not ride elephants, feed them or wash them! None of the sanctuaries on Koh Samui are actually about rescuing elephants. Please do your research. The waterfall was overrated as well and the tour guide barely provides any info about the stops, didn’t seem interested in his work, but yet still expected a tip at the end.

It was amazing! Nicky was the best tour guide :) even it was raining, we managed to see everything in between storms.

Nikkie did a wonderful job as did our driver. Nikkie's knowledge, humour and overall fun personality made our tour with her very special.

A great day out with our guide Adi, and driver. Lots of interesting information provided at each stop and Adi has a great sense of humour. Lovely, comfortable air conditioned mini bus with water provided, and the tour was well paced. A perfect way to see some popular sites.

This tour is very good value for the money. Other tour operators were charging much more. The guide and driver were excellent. The minivan was 10 out of 10! Wonderful air conditioning and comfortable seats. We were only 7 in our group. Very nice!

Much more enjoyable than anticipated, and overall a great way to see the sights on the island! Pickup and drop-off worked seamlessly. The van was a bit warm but refreshments were provided. When booking the tip on Viator I noticed 'English speaking guide' was 'not included' , but our guide did a great job of explaining background and history for the sights we visited. No complaints there!

Very reasonable price,far cheaper than getting a taxi to and from all these locations. Tour guide spoke English and driver arrived on time at my hotel . Could have spent a little more time at the waterfall but over a good experience, definitely worth it.

Good choice of stops, good timing: not too long, not too short. Fine driver and excellent guide. New minivan with airco and good seats. Excellent value for money.

This tour is great value for money. We did around 7 stops over a 5-6 hour period, including a few temples/religious stops, the mummified monk, grandmother/grandfather rock and the waterfall. I felt like we got plenty of time in each place to see everything. It would have been a lot more difficult/expensive to have arranged this by ourselves via taxi. The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. The minibus was air conditioned and comfortable enough- this was a great relief from the heat. All in all, I would definitely recommend doing this tour with the company if you want an easy way to see a number of Koh Samui’s main sights in one day.

All in all this is good value for money, to get around some of the key sites, and the reviews and listings say don’t expect a guide here, but a friendly driver who will drop you from place to place. With this tour you won’t do the attractions up the mountain such as the magic garden, which was fine for me but for others a must see. Plenty of times at the stops without rushing but for those wanting to swim at the waterfalls it maybe a little tight, we had less time than advertised (approx 30min). There’s also no lunch stop so you would need to bring lunch or pickup snacks along way. Bus was comfortable enough. The reason 4 stars for me was that the drop off was 1.5hr from the last attraction (only a 30min drive away from my hotel), which was the same amount of time spent at the attractions. If there was a couple of you, it would make better sense to use the grab app to get around to these attractions.

What a great day! So many things to see in Koh Samui. Our guide was excellent and have us lots of great information about the places. I recommend this tour.

Driver/guide was v nice but didn't talk much unless u asked. Good or bad, depending on your preference. He took us to all the spots of interest and we loved seeing the island without the hassle of a rental car or the risk of a scooter.

We had a lovely time on this tour of Koh Samui! We saw so many interesting sites we wouldn’t otherwise have found. The guide and driver were friendly and knowledgeable. The booking process was easy and we did it very last minute, the evening before we were picked up from our hotel. It was well worth it and excellent value for money!

Very nice experience overall, a minivan takes you from the hotel and also drops off at the hotel. Since taxi is expensive in Samui this activity is a good return for money
