Koh Samui Custom Sightseeing Tour With Private Guide

We enjoyed our tour. Our driver was excellent. Disappointed that we had booked & paid for a tour with English speaking guide who did not turn up.

Worthwhile experience. Guide was friendly and helpful. Took us where we wanted to go.

We booked the German guide as one of us spoke no English. It was so enjoyable and we had such a good time. The private guide / driver option is so much better and well worth every penny. You don’t have to wait for random people coming back late to the bus or taking a million selfies. You can just get on with what you are interested in. We were three ladies in the end (2 guests and one guide) and it made for a real fun day out. We saw everything we had intended to see and more. The company Mr Samui is family-owned and it was a pleasure being their customer and being looked after (proper Thai hospitality). Next time we go to Samui we will definitely choose them again.

We had an excellent time, our guide was punctual and happy to do the activities we had planned on what turned out to be a hot day. He tailored the tour to suit our ability to get a table at the Jungle club for lunch and nothing was too much trouble, even a pit stop at 7 Eleven on the way home for snacks. I would thoroughly recommend.

Mr S was waiting for us at reception in our hotel in his AC SUV. He was immediately welcoming and friendly and explained how our time would work - we booked 4 hours and could Go where we wanted and spend as much as time at any of our stops. He was a great guide, very informative and also gave us space to explore. We had water, towels to freshen up and a comfy ride with much welcomed AC! Highly recommend the coconut ice cream at the view point - delicious! We are a family of 3 and our 16 year old son was hesitant to do a guided tour but he loved it and thought Mr S was a great guide for the morning. I’ve visited Koh Samui before but never really explored the island so this was a great trip to experience all of the island highlights. Great value for money, highly recommend 😊

Mr Bin (apologies for spelling) picked us up on time and tailored our morning as we wanted and made great suggestions. He got us to places before the big trips turned up and when we mentioned that we would like to go to the Haven Elephant Cafe he even incorporated a visit there. A lovely man, very knowledgeable and would highly recommend.

DO NOT BOOK. THIS TOUR IS A SCAM. The tour operator is not helpful at all. They do not respond to either the customer support on the app or otherwise. They will make you pay and they will not accommodate you in any manner. Completely horrible experience and a total waste. Only book if you want to ruin your day and mood.

An amazing customised trip with guide Tony and driver Tong. Nothing was too much trouble with a 10 month old in tow! Tony recommended Koh Samui key spots in the time we had. The van was very well air conditioned and most welcome in the heat! Only sour point was a Viator adviser declining us being picked up at our own hotel which was 5 minutes away from the Ritz and where we had to eventually take a taxi with baby. This was not something that was required I was told as we actually went past our hotel after pick up anyway (so a little annoyed). However this was not the guide/drivers fault but more Viator’s policy .

We had a great day on our private tour with Mr. Samui. We were picked up on time and traveled around the island in a comfortable, well air-conditioned bus. Our guide, Sixsun, was very friendly and planned the itinerary together with us. We visited beautiful viewpoints and temples, stopped at a beach for a swim and lunch, and even made a spontaneous stop for fresh coconut ice cream — a fun and authentic touch. Highly recommended, especially for families with young children. We saw a lot in a short time while staying comfortable in the heat.

It was such a gift to experience this tour on Songkran. Our guide went above and beyond to find us experiences (meeting elephants) even when businesses were closed for the holiday. Thank you for being so accommodating and generous with us.

Awan was our guide and provided a great custom tour and lunch place for us. He advised well on our time available and avoided a huge traffic jam so we returned to our ship on time. We enjoyed talking with him about many subjects. He was very pleasant and we enjoyed his company. We would highly recommend him!

Had our tour of Koh Samui today with our guide Sixsun, or Mr S, … he was an absolute star - very advocating, very thoughtful, checked what we wanted and delivered & more with a suggestion of seeing trained monkeys climbing the trees to get the coconuts down …. excellent, highly recommended

We had a wonderful day trip with Mr Samui!! Highly reccomend. We saw so much, we went right around the island. We were able to choose stops of interest when we collected. Our guide was fantastic, great company! He took us to a lovely resturant right on the sand amazing secluded beach. It was like a secret! The food was outstanding! Special goes to the actual vehicle! Petch was the perfect host, very accommodating and easy going. Planned the day for us based on our preferences and packed a day of sightseeing in a record time, showing us that Koh Sami is worth coming back. If u prefer less sightseeing and more beach or shopping, Petch was happy to do that too. Totally recommended to everyone and every taste. And cheaper to go the 2 of us in an air coned big car, than it was to book a cruise excursion. 👍👍👍

Fantastic tour with our brilliant guide Sixson . Went to all the sites we wanted to see had lunch at The Jungle Club with amazing views. We also went to the West Coast away from the tourists which was our favourite part of the island. Amazing day out thanks to Sixson.

We had a limited amount of time as we were on a cruise. The private tour with Bin proved to be the best use of our time to see Koh Samui. We managed to see almost all highlights in our 5 hours. Bin was professional, knowledgable as well as being very kind and polite.

Very disapointed. Our 'guide' (who was very polite and who drove very carefully) was a driver and not the professional guide that was mentioned in the description. His english was so limited that we did not get ANY information about the country, its people, the sites... that we had to visit on our own.

Lam was excellent..He speaks good English, has a lovely mini bus with great AC. Lam took us to the popular sights Temples being amazing. He also fitted in a beach he recommended,It was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet pretty and a restaurant made it complete. Lovely day. Thanks Lam

My fiancé and I had an absolutely incredible experience with Mr. Samui in Koh Samui and cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, everything was seamless and professional. Our tour guide, Nat, truly made the day unforgettable. Nat was right on time, extremely friendly, and incredibly attentive to everything we wanted to see and do. Nat spoke good English which was a huge help and made the entire experience smooth, informative, and enjoyable. Nat took us everywhere we wanted to go, never rushed us, and made sure we were comfortable and having fun the entire time. Nat also shared great background information about the locations and temples we visited, which added so much meaning and context to the experience rather than just sightseeing. You could tell Nat genuinely cared about making our tour special and personalized. If you’re visiting Koh Samui and want a stress-free, customized tour with an amazing guide, Mr. Samui and Nat are the way to go. Truly a 5-star experience—we would book again in a heartbeat! The cost per person was more than worth it, we ended up extending our tour almost 3 extra hours. We had a private SUV, very clean and stocked with cold waters, cold towels, plenty of room for shopping bags, and AC on full blast.

Lovely 4 hour experience with our guide exploring Koh Samui. Sixsun was kind and knowledgeable and very flexible. He had ideas of where to take us and let us prioritize what was most important. This was a perfect half day tour of the island. Our driver, Mr Thai, was pleasant and very informative of the sites, customs and history of the area. We selected about nine different sites and he crafted our trip as a big loop around the island. The van was new and spotless, with four reclining lounge seats with adjustable foot rests. Very comfortable ride.

The guide was excellent. Tailored the day to what we wanted, helped us out exchanging money so we could get ice cream, gave us a coconut drink and came back after he dropped us off because e we left a phone in the car. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

Our driver/guide Petch was very nice, good English, and accommodating. He took us to see elephant sanctuary at our request then circled the island with several stops. Safe driver and helped us with ATM and snacks. He worked hard to answer our questions and Explain Buddhism. Highly recommend Petch and tour.

Petch was our tour guide & he was absolutely the best! We told him what we liked to do in general & he guided us to everything we loved! We could totally see ourselves living here one day & I’m confident his tour was a big part of that. He had a ton of knowledge, took us to a Michelin Star rated restaurant (we are foodies) and all the best shopping locations. He was able to answer all of our questions & was so kind. Will recommend the island & Petch to everyone!

It was exactly as advertised. We had four hours of custom sightseeing. The driver was responsive to our requests and took us on a tour of Koh Samui that completely satisfied our expectations.

I spontaneously booked a sightseeing tour on the second day of my arrival on Koh Samui. Shortly after booking, I was contacted via WhatsApp and given all the further information. (Especially the reminder that you should wear appropriate clothing when visiting temples.) Our wonderful guide, Aekky, was funny and told us great things about Thailand and Koh Samui. He also gave us a short language course with three words we could use (sorry, thank you and hello). It was a really funny tour. I can recommend this tour to everyone, to see beautiful attractions of the island, especially if Aekky is your guide.

Our driver/guide Nat was extremely thoughtful and made our visit worthwhile. The elephant sanctuary was not on the schedule but he made sure we were there first thing in the morning and we avoided the tour groups. We wanted to visit temples and we sure did! All of them different and interesting. The day went very fast. Koh Samui is definitely a must see in Thailand!
