Jungle Zipline Adventure: 10 Cables, Tree Bridge Bar & Sea Views

We arrived in Ko Samui via cruise ship and wanted to Zipline. So Happy we found Tree Bridge Zipline in through Tony Backpacker Samui Travel Thailand (Viator). We had such a great time with the 9 ziplines. Our guides were friendly and paid attention to safety protocols.

Excited to try ziplining for the first time, we committed to this in and paid in advance of our visit to Koh Samui. After a long, circuitous van ride to a parking lot for a change of vehicles, we arrived at the check-in point for the zipline. Because of the crowds, waited nearly an hour until our names were called to report to the safety site, where we geared up with harnesses, helmets, gloves, and other safety gear. The vendor was meticulous about safety -- the harnesses, carabiners, and pulley systems were heavy duty, and once we climbed to the first launching point, we were locked "on cable" the entire time. Once we launched and took the zip segment, we arrived at a platform where the attendant would remove our tether and immediately and securely hook up into the next series of cables. It was extremely safe. It was a very hot day, and because we were constantly moving, there was no time for pictures, or really, time to take in the views other than while riding the zipline, which wasn't really that long. The requirements said it was a moderate physical challenge, and we found many steep steps and a very steep path to climb, so take that warning seriously. The final station involved a very steep climb up a path, and on that hot day, I needed to take a break and cool down a bit. The whole activity, once our names were called and we geared up, was about an hour. It was fun, but after the first few segments, we could have called it a day and enjoyed a cool drink. After the final landing, we were relieved of our gear and waited for another hour for our ride from the zipline area back to the parking lot, then another 45 minutes back to the hotel. Our consensus was that we would have preferred few, longer segments to the many shorter segments included in this experience. Still, it was a fun afternoon, and we can now check it off our list.

Went with brother, both in late twenties. Very well Organised. Free drink and water were a nice tough. Three hours total, so back for lunch. Guides take videos for yoy. 10/10 recommend

Was a good trip. The minibus picked us up in time and was a nice trip to the zipline site. Unfortunately when we arrived it was quite busy, loud and chaotic. So it was not clear where we were meant to go and what we were doing. Got a few mixed messages. When we were then directed to the right place to get the equipment on it was quite a rushed process with no real explanation of what was happening and what the plan for the activity was. The actual zipline was very fun and enjoyable and the 2 staff we were with were very nice and made the experience fun. Think we went on 8 or 9 zip lines. The views were amazing and you go quite fast on some of them which was fun! We got given some water on the way round and then a soft drink at the end. We then had around 25 minutes afterwards to chill in the cafe. The whole trip was quite quick. From being picked up to being dropped back off at our hotel was 2hrs 15 minutes which was slightly disappointing as we were expecting a 4hr trip. Was still a nice activity to do!

A very well organised trip. A great time had by all of us. Recommend doing this. The staff there were fantastic. Took no time in getting you ready with all the equipment. We all felt very safe at all times. A great experience

This is the zip line adventure you’ve been waiting for! 10 different runs and this is one well oiled machine. Enjoyed the free beverage at the end (I went with iced espresso). Can’t believe how clean and nice looking good looking the bathrooms were in this free top operation

Cracking day on the zips, team were very good too. My friend was rather scared, however noting to be afraid of, they guys very supportive and what an awesome day with ace views over jungle.

Fabulous! This tour was well organized and so much fun. Pick up was on time, and we had a nice ride through the streets to the jungle. The guys working there were so much fun, they put you at ease and had lots of laughs. They worked hard to take photos and videos of you so you could sit back and enjoy. It was just enough zip lines without being too much. I had a nice drink afterwards overlooking the mountains. It was a total of about 3 hours which was perfect as I wanted to do other things in the afternoon. Can’t recommend enough!

1st time zip lining and it was amazing. Staff were great, made sure it was fun for everyone. Views are amazing and the zip lining is a great buzz

Cool environment and a nice experience where you get nice views and a little adrenaline. Especially from the guides.

These zip lines are fantastic. The guides are fun and it's very well organised. It's a super fun way to see beautiful Thailand terrain You don't need all day to do it which allows more R&R on your trip.

We had the best time on this tour. We did jet skiing and quad biking which were great, but this tour was the highlight for us. The two tour guides really made it that much better with their light hearted humour along the way and freaking us out that we jumped too soon. They were lots of fun. Their English was strong enough to ensure we knew what was going on. I was a little surprised at first that there was no safety briefing. We just got kitted up and connected and we were off! Having said that, I never felt unsafe. The guides told us if we needed to do things differently to the previous jump etc. I loved that we got a hair net to wear under the helmet and rubber gloves to wear under the leather ones. Communal stuff like that grosses me out a bit, so I appreciated the hygiene. The views were spectacular on the jumps and we had so much fun. We took turns going last and the guide took a video and photo of each of us and airdropped it to us at the end. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Amazing views as you fly through the treetops! Mr Tony was very helpful in setting up pickup/drop off from from our Airbnb. You can tell that the guides really enjoy their job and do their best to make sure we had a great time.

Great comms from Mr Tony ahead of day - on the day the team were helpful, reassuring and good fun. Well run facility with hygiene also in mind (hairnet and rubber gloves provided) - good drinks bar with view and added bonus of a short walk to see the waterfall while waiting for the return transfer to hotel.

Probably one of the best ziplining experiences ever. I’ve done some all over the world and this entire crew from start to finish is amazingly professional. Tony was great at communicating. On the night before the shuttle pick up and morning of he communicated via What's App so clearly. He even called the hotel to get a hold of me! The shuttle was a little behind schedule in the morning and he continued to communicate up until the arrival of the van. When we arrived at the site we switched vehicles into a truck that drove us up hill to this very adorable location with a drink bar, fans, and water sprays to cool people off. Then we geared up, stored our items into lockers, and made our way to the tree tops. Our host was this very charismatic young man who spoke multiple languages. Our group consisted of Americans, Swedes, Russians, and my family and I are Hmong. He communicated instructions in English, Russian, Swedish and then Lao and Korean (cause he thought my family and I were initially Korean and then Laotian). It was so impressive! Anyways - I have to mention this guy’s videography skills too which is equivalent to a human Go Pro camera! His hand is so sturdy everyone wanted a video after his first demonstration with the Russian girl in our group. So he came up with this “leaf pull”, kind of like a stick-pick, where if you pulled the lucky leaf you got a video. My husband got one! We now have this awesome video from our trip. My brother’s sneakers also fell off during the zipping (one of his foot hit a branch) and the hosts even went and found his shoe in the forest! Overall, my only recommendation would be to offer water along the ziplining routes or tell guests to bring water because some of those areas going uphill got very hot and there is no shade. After the excursion, guests are offered FREE refreshing drinks from the bar and a trip to a small waterfall. Then it’s back to the hotel. Overall, this experience is absolutely worth the money and a lot of fun.

We had such a good time on this zip line trip. The staff was really fun and used our phones to take some really cool videos. There were 2-3 really long runs and some fun short ones. The cafe in the trees was a great end to the trip.

Great experience! Funny hosts that followed us, filmed and took pictures to make the experience memorable. We were 11 in the group. A little too many as we had to wait for everyone but I saw there were smaller groups as well.

Amazing experience and such lovely people. As a group of 11 people they made us feel so safe and the staff were so funny and nice. The views are so nice and we all had a great time!! Highly recommend. It’s great for families, friends and young people. Shout out to wee and his partner! Zip lining was so fun and safe with fantastic views, and tour guides made the experience even more memorable!

I went by myself but met people there. The guides were brilliant. Really funny and made the experience a lot better for some1 who was quite scared of doing it. And what amazing views! Recommend 100% you must try.

They sold us a 4 hour experience, after one and half hour they took us back. When I showed them the booking, they laughed at me while speaking Thai. The manager was super rude because his hand gestures and body language was like he didn’t care at all and I needed to just shut up and get in the truck. Amazing guys who did the zip line but everything else was horrible. I will never recommend or go back. There are much better ones.

Couldn’t fault the zip line and the guys who took us round, kept it fun and had a laugh, however when advertised it states it’s 4 hours, which worked for us as we had a flight straight after, the company kindly agreed to take us to the airport after, we got through the zip line pretty fast and sat down for a drink in the stunning cafe, the driver started giving us time frames which meant we’d be at the airport way earlier than agreed, this put a downer on the experience, but the zip line was great! Deffo recommend that, just organise your own transport

It was a fun exprince however too expensive for just 8 ziplines. Also with the complementary drink they could of not use the powder and provide us with real fruit juices.

Well organised. Picked up from hotel promptly in an air conditioned car. Ensure on the day you wear comfortable shoes ideally trainers. There is a facility to securely put away your belongings. The guides who help you at the zip line are friendly and make the adventure fun. Our group was 6 people which was perfect. You also get a free choice of beverage after the zip line. Would highly recommend this excursion

It was really beautiful! Good for beginner, because it was not really high and did not go that fast.

This was the most exhilarating experience I've ever encountered. I'd 100% recommend this experience. I only have a video, but the video is amazing. I trusted the employee with my phone and he didn't disappoint. I felt very safe the whole duration. The waterfall and Tree Bridge coffee house was a superb addition and really lovely coffee and traditional Thai lunch and water was provided. all in all 10/10

A mega experience, we had so much fun!! That's great. Have had to laugh in the evening in the room while watching videos, clearly recommended!!

I chose a 4 star rating as I had the complete package with pick up and return transport. This is a good Service, but it also creates a time constraint that I had not hoped for. The Service is very good, but you hardly have time on site. The Zipplein was very good and so were the scouts. I would have liked more time on site to enjoy a little more the great view and not to be sent back so quickly.

Massenabfertigung. Zu viele Leute, schlecjt organisiert. Schnorcheln nur im abgesperrt Bereich, wo alle baden und dadurch alles aufgewühlt ist, dass man nichts sieht. Kajak einmal auf die nächste Insel. Das wars. Der Aussichtspunkt war nett, aber der Rest

En rolig och fartfylld upplevelse! Vi var där med våra barn 12 och 13 år. Säkerheten var hög för turisterna och det kändes inte otryggt alls. Dock ett litet minus för att guiderna själva inte var så noga med sin egen säkerhet.

Very nice experience! Glad we booked this. We were immediately contacted via whats app to confirm and told what to do and when we were picked up. The next day the driver was ready at the agreed time. Driven to the location and two instructors went with humor. Very funny about it. We've been gone a total of 2.5 hours. Which is also fine, because then you've seen it. But wow how high it is haha, be aware of that. But so much fun to do. Equipment looks good too. Didn't doubt for a moment that something would be unsafe.

Not for people who are afraid of heights. Funny and experienced guides make it a great experience. Price was worth it
