I would NOT recommend this trip to anyone!!! This boat trip round the islands, has left me in agony! Driving through the sea in stormy conditions causing the boat to bump up and down for over an hour on the return journey has resulted in a neck strain. This along with the actual tour (not sufficient time snorkelling or kayaking and too much time on a beach with no shade) did not make for a pleasant trip! The food at lunch was adequate although disappointing that there was no fresh fish served. The tour guides were nice enough but no consideration for people’s well being was given when driving through a rainstorm on the way to lunch (35 minutes) or the 70 minute trip back to shore. As I said, I’ve been awake all night, dreading the flight home having been left with a severely sore back and neck! The details say that it’s not suitable for people with back injuries. I didn’t have any back issues BEGORE this trip!

We will visit the iconic Koh Nang Yuan: 3 small islands connected by 2 beaches surrounded by water on both sides. Here you can go snorkeling, visit the viewpoint or enjoy food from the restaurant.
We visit different bays around the island. As we have multiple options we will always go for the quieter areas or the places where the sea isn't too rough. Enjoy the underwater life here and go snorkeling or swimming from the speedboat!

It was worth taking the trip for a walk on Nang Yuan Island but the service was terrible. It consisted of barking instructions at the guests army style by a semi-literate Burmese guide in semi-intelligible English. I felt like a part of a herd, not a tourist group. The whole trip consists of a 1.5hr visit to Nang Yuan, a brief lunch on Koh Tao (even though bait-and-switch style, the trip is marketed as a visit to Koh Tao), and then snorkeling, snorkeling and again snorkeling - yes, 3 times, while people not interested in the activity had to sit on the hot boat as the snorkeling sites were off shore. I do not understand why these cannot be 2 separate trips - one for those who want to visit Nang Yuan and Koh Tao, and one for the diehard fans of snorkeling. There is a separate fee to set foot on Nang Yuan island collected in cash before the start of the trip. On the way back there was something wrong with the boat so it had to stop mid-sea twice until the crew got things right. This company has no idea what customer service is and it's employees are not very well trained - and this is what creates the unpleasant experience. On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be a lot of competition to encourage them to do better.
Good wave. Excellent guides and crew. Epic underwater world. That's the only way to sum up this mind-blowing speedboat and snorkeling adventure!
What a fantastic all-day excursion! Amazing crew! Lovely speed boat and beautiful islands. We were first picked up from our hotel and collected a few others on route to the bay. Breakfast was toast and a hot drink, so I would try and ensure you get a good brekkie in before. The crew was excellent at commanding your attention to talk about the trip and give lots of important information for health and safety and about preserving the islands. A good emphasis on no litter or plastic bottles and protecting the coral. Sea sickness tablets were also offered which i thought was a great idea for those who may need it! We then made our way to our numbered boat and the speed boat journey began...again picking up some more passengers on route but the this was no issue as being on the open waters with the sun blazing and lovely breeze was beautiful. We arrived at our first stop off Koh Tao for a bit of snorkeling. Would recommend wearing the life jackets even if a strong swimmer as the water was a bit choppy but beautiful all the same. Next stop for lunch which was sufficient and there was also another canteen there where you could pay to get more menu options. Keep-sake photo taken which are pretry cool so dont forget to take some cash with you. Next stop Koh Nang Yuan - picture postcard! Amazing snorkelling. Marine life....stunning. Nuff said! Go and discover!!! Definitely value for money. Couldn't have been organised by a better team! Thank you for a wonderful day out! Truly memorable!
OK, these islands are already beautiful and worth visiting, visiting these islands you will already have an amazing day. But what really sets this tour apart is the staff. They are excellent, friendly, and very helpful. They take VERY good care of you and make sure your day goes well. They truly go the extra mile anticipating what you need before asking. We had a wonderful day exploring these islands, it was like walking into a postcard. We would definitely do this again, or go on one of their other tours. Highly recommended. Just GO.
I book the tour online, under koh samui tour, when arrive i saw their shirt and boat named Mr Tu. Maybe same team. So the journey was fun, there were 3 snorkeling spot, 2 look out point and 1 lunch. Everything went well, they arrived at my hotel for pick as according to promised schedule. Boat departs around 10am, journey took about 1 and half hours, we were told, the return back journey will be bumpy, the morning ride was ok, not so bumpy. Arrive in Koh Tao, for snorkeling and there is a look out point, where you can climb and take picture, it has wooden stairs and deck. Next was snorkeling in Koh Nguyen area, coral was deep, so snorkeling was easy without damaging the corals. Next was lunch at Koh Tao, they took us to a resort, which was nice, lunch buffet was nice, food was delicious, they also serve ice cream. Then next to Koh Nguyen, where we spend 2 and half hours, the boatman asked me to hike to the look out point first before snorkeling, so that what i did, it was 150 meters hike, and when you reach the top, there was no deck, just rocks, so you have to make way for people to go up and down, and take turn to take pictures. But the hike was worth it, the view was spectacular. Then you can snorkel around the island. Then back to Koh Samui. When arrive they serve watermelon, in the boat, they provide cold drinking water and also carbonated drinks. So overall, i satisfied with their service. If you ask me, next is the Anh Thong Marine park.
I DONT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL!!!! We booked this for today, we received our tickets and a message saying we were getting picked up at our resort. Today morning we waited at the lobby for about 2 hours, we tried calling the numbers provided and got no reply. We message and got no answer, we emailed and still got nothing. This is very disappointing and ridiculous to have to wait that long and not even get a message or a courtesy call back. We dont know if we even got charge for this, i hope not ! Because this is unacceptable!
We really enjoyed the trip. The briefing session was clear, the trip very well organised, and the tour guides and crew all helpful and friendly. We have an 8 and 11 year old (that are confident swimmers) that thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling and we were all amazed at the vibrant sea life. The first site was a little overcrowded, but swim a little further out and there were less people and more to see. The food was ok, there was something for everyone and the scenery beautiful. Would definitely recommend, thank you Mr Tu and team for a great day out!
We booked this trip whilst on Ko Samui as we had read that Ko Tao would provide the snorkelling opportunity that we desired. Whilst the day would have been resoundingly perfect in every respect, it receives only the ‘good’ rating above because of a few niggles that could be easily rectified with better organisation from the Mr Tu management. We had received a text notification that we would be collected from our hotel at 08:00-08:10 hours, but and because we were not ready by the 07:45 hours which is when the driver turned up, he became quite arrogant and threatened to leave us, despite the fact that we were ready in the bus by 08:10 hrs. He calmed down however when he saw the text, so I suspect that the correct pick-up time had not been relayed to him. We were transported to the Mr Tu pier where hoards of other tourists were waiting. We had a briefing that was very difficult to follow in the commotion and multiple languages over a speaker phone whilst being offered a light breakfast snack. Entrance tickets for the Ko Nang Yaun Island were purchased for 100THB each and then we set off in speed boats for a very bumpy but fun trip. Our captain and crew were very helpful, friendly and offered snorkelling tips throughout the day. We had 2 stops round Ko Tao for the snorkelling which was utterly amazing: we saw innumerable beautiful fish and the coral was the most alive and vibrant in colour that I had ever seen. We then had a delicious 3 course buffet lunch and were then transported to the final stop on Koh Nang Yuan. I would urge tourists to beware of the small Koh Nang Yuan bar where we were ripped off for coffee by a very loud screaming and rude woman who would not see reason why the hot coffee we purchased for 70THB should really cost the same as the cold coffee that we also wanted, but that she was demanding 300THB for. The menu listed a ‘latte’ at 300THB which we had not requested. There was no-one in the bar that could speak English or willing to assist as they were more interested in getting through the queue of tourists than to resolve the problem. There was insufficient time to enjoy the views from the top of Koh Nang Yuan because of the huge queues wanting to take photos up there, and then we were all whisked to the boats for the 45-minute journey back the main land of Ko Samui. I would normally have ended this review by saying that overall it was an exhilarating day trip out and if we had had a little longer at the last stop, it would have been well worth the cost because at the mainland we were then made to wait an additional 45 minutes because the bus was completely hemmed in by other buses that would not move to allow ours to pass. Our driver tried to sort this out but appeared helpless to do anything. I felt quite sorry for our driver because other foreign tourists were less forgiving and kept shouting at him to get going or out the air conditioning, when really they ought to have spoken to the management about this disarray rather than giving him such a hard time.
We took the speedboat from Koh Samui pier. The staff on the boat was very friendly and provided us the snorkelling equipment. The only downside was that the time to visit Koh Nangyuan was too short considering the amount of people that were reaching the top of the island to take breathtaking photos. The tour agency was extremely punctual to respond to any request. Highly recommended.
Easy to book,u can chat online with them if u have questions,i didn't like the fact i had to remind them to email me regarding my hotel pick up time.lunch at the island was very very bad,not much varieties anf if u don't eat pork u r screwed , owner of the lunch restaurant was very rude. Expect to pay 100 BHT for rental shoes on Board ( while it says online equipment included)crew on boat very friendly and helpful.snorkling very small area and crowded with other boats. But we still had a good time
The tour had great customer service and customer care. Picked up on time and drop off was swift, any issues was dealt with promptly.
The tour wasn’t what we expected at all. The speedboat ride was very disappointing, not a nice boat and no views. Considering that you spend more than half of the trip of the speedboat, the ride itself should be a fun experience on its own. There is no snorkelling in the middle of the sea, the speedboat takes you to one bay, drops you off on the beach and you get an hour of free time on your own (but don’t think nice cute beach, think hundreds of tourists flocking the water). No snorkling tips or advice on the best spots. ‘Breakfast’ is a joke, make sure you eat something beforehand or you will be starving until lunch! Koh Nangyuan is overcrowded and again complete lack of guidance how to make the most of your time there. More than an hour queue to get to the viewpoint, beaches filled with tourists, you need to go quite far into the water to see any interesting marine life. Would not go on this trip again
Went on a 4 hour boat cruise from Ko Taen. Stopped for snorkeling. The sea is full of tiger fish. Stopped for lunch in one of the islands. Best cruise ever.
Yesterday we had a fantastic excursion to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan via speedboat with Great Sea company. We felt the ship crew was very oriented toward our safety and satisfaction. They worked really hard to make us feel welcome, communicated the itinerary and kept us well informed along the way, as each way of the speedboat journey was about 90 minutes to and from the islands. The islands we visited were absolutely beautiful. The Thai lunch was tasty and satisfying. We enjoyed the opportunity to snorkel. There were a few minutes even to visit the small town and do a little souvenir shopping. They made sure even little details were addressed like providing us cold towels to refresh ourselves on several occasions and ending the trip with some tasty fresh pineapple.
Really enjoy my visit to the 2 island Koh Tao and Koh Nangyuan . Such a beautiful island great for relaxing , snorkelling and even photoshoot with great landscapes . The tour guides were awesome ensuring our safety and needs were met all the times. Thank you guys and will recommend my friends and families for this trip
Unsure why I saw negative reviews about this tour. It was well organised, lovely staff, boats appeared to be in good condition, lots of snorkelling opportunities, decent enough lunch (although was only lukewarm). Okay the life jackets are a bit faded but hardly anyone wore them anyway! We had a great day!
The first, i would like to express my special Thank to Abi who we booked with. Abi was really helpful and had patience. Coz we just decided 1 night before the departure day that we couldnt come to their office. also my card wasnt working, but Abi was really helpful to keep place for us. then we paid on the tour that was very convenience for us. I appreciate that. The price they offer is competitive in markets. We did full day to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan with nice tour guide. His Eng is very good, he take care all of us in all the time. The nice thing is free soft drink in the tour. We did snorkeling twice, climbed to reach the top of Koh Nang Yuan with best view. Thank again,
We booked the Full Day trip to Koh tao and Koh Nang Yuan from Samui. We were promptly picked up and started our trip soon after everyone reached the pier. The boat was like new, safe, and clean. We headed directly to Koh Tao, which was an 1.5 hours from the Samui pier. The boat trip was fun and the time went by fast! We were allowed to snorkel there for approximately an hour. The coral was beautiful, many many fishes! Note, this snorkeling tour is not guided, but you pretty much have to jump in the water by yourself and take charge! The lifejackets and snorkeling equipment are provided. After snorkeling, we went to the other side of Koh Tao for lunch. Lunch was yummy! We had time to shop around a little bit before heading back to the boat. We then stopped at Nang Yuan Island. Beautiful private island. HAs beach activities, snorkeling, and a bar with delicious food. We snorkeled for a bit, relaxed at the beach, ate and drank some more (this was a 2-2.5 hour stop). After we headed back to the boat and back toward Samui. The guides were very informative, professional, and we enjoyed our entire trip! Highly recommend!
well organised one day journey, pick up at hotel and guidance through the day worked out perfectly. koh nang yuang was rather crowded with tourists and most corals next to the landing peer obviously have suffered from them. however one can still find some nice coral reefs and get even the illusion of untouched nature if one is ready to swim a bit away from the landing peer. mask and snorkel are provided, but no flippers.
They have a nice website and photos, but the actual tour experience is nothing like that. First of all, we did not get a confirmation of when exactly we'd get picked up so we sat and waited from 7:30AM onwards with no certainty that anyone would even come (and this is after paying a deposit) - not the way you want to start your day on vacation. Second, the breakfast is not "light", it's a joke. Eat something before they pick you up. Third, nowhere on the website does it say that the ride to Koh Tao can be VERY choppy. The speedboat goes fast, and especially between Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, it will be hard for people with even mild motion sickness. Two people on our boat threw up, canceled the tour halfway and took a slow, mild ferry back. Third, when we arrived to our first stop I really understood how ratty and cheap our tour was compared to everyone else's. We had these old, shabby lifejackets - so old in fact that they were this dusty pink color (from what was once bright red) so basically, if you fall and float in the sea, not a soul would see you from a distance. Three other tours on the island, all had neon bright new lifejackets, bright snorkeling shoes, and obviously newer snorkeling equipment. Also, this first stop was completely useless - we were all tired from the boat ride, the sea was muddy and not calm, you couldn't snorkel or really see that much fish, and you couldn't even sit on the sunbeds and take a break because they belonged to some property and you had to pay extra for them. I can't say anything negative about the lunch stop after that - it was tasty authentic Thai food, buffet style. The third stop was on the beautiful private island, with the view and this was the best part. As soon as we got there we realized that we shouldnt've done this "tour" but rather should've taken a ferry directly to this Koh Nang Yuan island and spent the whole day there. The only thing that redeemed this tour were the young Thai crew who obviously tried very hard to make it nice. But to be honest, I couldn't understand what the main guy was saying 70% of the time. And I've been on tours in Thailand before, where for a lower price than this one, there is an English speaker on board who explains what you are seeing. Our tour was operated by Grand Sea Discovery - I just found this out as they somehow obtained my email (thanks Koh Samui tours for not protecting my data) and emailed me to promote them on Tripadvisor. Well here's my promotion: skip the tour, take a ferry and enjoy your own day.
We booked a full day trip with this agent on 6 April 18 and received confirmation right after we paid the deposit, communicated via online chat as well. We were told that the meeting up was around 8am to 8:30 in the resort lobby, we proceeded to lobby sharp at 8am in the morning and waited for 40 mins, we called the agent and they told us they had to check and got us to wait for another 30 mins and so, finally they surprised us with an amazing answer: the tour was fully booked, ours was double booking. If this is the case shouldn’t they inform us upon our booking and Not keeping us waiting for hours. Local number was provided to them, so they had no excuse not to communicate to us on the fully booked issue. We had no choice but cancel the trip, all we want is a refund since nothing else can be done, the refund is the LEAST the can do but they failed to satisfy our simple and little wish, until today, we have not gotten any reply/ confirmation /communication. We had been approaching them via WhatsApp/ email/ online chat with no respond until week ago we finally get a reply from online chat, they told me they would check and kept us updated. There was the last time they communicated to us, and the continuing missing in action, we are unable to reach them in any way we tried. I never ever write any negative review, but this tour has reached our limit and treated us extremely unfair. We are writing here as I do not wish any of you to screw your day like us.
My sister and I decided to book a day trip out to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan and came across this tour company online. We picked it especially because this tour was on a high speed boat and we knew that travelling by the standard ferry could take up to 3 hours each way. We were not disappointed - it took about 1.5hrs max to arrive at our first stop. All of the locations were stunning and fantastic spots for snorkelling as the waters were so clear and plenty of reefs with fish everywhere. Our tour guide M was great too and very knowledgeable. We received plenty of food and drinks to sustain us all day. When we got to Koh Nang Yuan the tour guides were very helpful in getting up to the top of the view point for the best photos and one guide in particular went above and beyond by offering to take photos of us in the water while we were snorkelling. He spent about 30 mins with our camera taking photos and videos of us while we snorkelled without us having to ask. Fantastic day, would highly recommend.
Was a great tour! The guide was excellent and spoke english well. He knew where to find all the nice marine life. Had a awesome lunch halfway. Definitely the best tour to go snorkeling!
Sounds and looks great in the brochures. It's not! All locations were overcrowded. Travel time in the boat (Which broke down twice) was far too long in relation to the time able to snorkel. All the boats followed one another so at each destination there would have been over 250 people in the water. Dont waste your time. When we went the seas were calm and there was still 3 or more people vomitting. The water was cloudy. The fish were lovely when u spotted them.

Snorkeling at Koh Tao was fantastic. Koh Nang Yuan was totally overcrowded - yet we had a lovely snorkelling straight from the beach which was very nice.

You feel like a sheep, herded along with the throngs of tourist also attending the trip. Total 7 speedboats with 30 people in each by this organizer only. The waters in Koh nang yuan was so crowded you couldn't almost get in. One hour appointed , in which you should change clothes, get on and off boat with 30 people and maybe go to bathroom. Very little time in water. Lunch ok, not more, 40 minutes, eat quick. Koh Tao big disappointment. This location is totally over exploited. Tourists everywhere. Guides forgot give us tickets and left in boat. Most of the time I queuing , waiting. Lots of rude Chinese tourist with no manner. There are probably better locations on Koh Tao. Stay the night, hire local/exclusive guide. Less than one hour in the water in the water, for us, on this trip. Not recommended. Staff were friendly though. Saw some fishes, which is not very likely to do on Koh samui.

Extremely professional, and more than I expected. Beautiful destinations, a must for a day trip.

Unfortunately there is not enough snorkeling on this trip for me.Koh Nan Huang was very shallow and the coral was dangerous. The guide was nice and entertaining but did not guide us.

It's a really great tour, with photos in your googles that you're finding yourself in, and I would definitely recommend
It's worth the visit but here it is very short!! Privileged the 2nd island for the landscape. Snorkeling activities are to be expected! If you have your equipment bring back coaches says Thailand says consumer sale
Les iles sont évidemment toujours aussi magnifiques, nous avions choisi d y revenir suivant le descriptif pour faire d autres bay en snorkeling, bilan on n a fait que mango beach! Descriptif mensonger , dommage! Personnel sympa , repas sympa et eau à volonté.
The shuttle from the hotel to the port unfortunately only arrived about 40min after the agreed time (the email from the organizer explicitly stated to wait from 7:30 at the reception of the hotel!) in the respect that the pickup quite early in the morning was quite annoying. Arrived at the port there was or would have been a light breakfast. Due to the late arrival at the port we only had about 10 minutes to leave the speedboat - so we have foregone breakfast. Arriving at the speedboat the big stuffing started, it resembled Tetris a little. After about 45 minutes of the 1.5h trip I was allowed to sit on the roof as I no longer wanted to “cuddle” with the boat and the seatmate. The shared lunch was delicious and we had about 45min at leisure. Unfortunately, the last stop for snorkeling was very crowded by other tourists, you had the feeling of swimming in an outdoor pool because there were extremely many people in the water (although there were 4 beaches, it was like this everywhere). The beaches on Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan were clean, as was the water. Very annoying were the extremely dirty and extremely smelly toilet facilities on Koh Nang Yuan!!!!!!! All in all a pure tourist check-in, a cheek for 3190 Baht (about 95€) for 2 people!!
Watch out for this attraction! Before setting out to sea check the conditions of the sea because they make you leave even if it is very rough to not refund the cost! The journey to Koh Tao takes 1h and 30 min and I assure you that with the sea force 7 become nothing more than 90 min where you look death straight in the eye, for the activity you are going to do it is not really worth it! We will forever remember the experience as a day of fear!
A pleasant day with my friends. Customer Service is responsive and available and there to answer all our questions.
we have booked a ticket online for 4 people for $ 160,-. Not a lot of money for a day trip. We were picked up on time by a friendly driver at our hotel in Koh Samui and were taken to a pier. Here it was hugely busy and the breakfast was nothing at all. Then we were taken to the speedboat, with about 45 on a speedboat with 750 HP en route to Koh nang yuan. Because we sailed very fast and the boat is closed you don't see anything. It's certainly not a comfortable trip. The island is beautiful and the lunch there was okay. You can go up a mountain for a nice view, lie on the beach or snorkel. Then to Koh Tao to snorkel there as well. This time not from the beach but from the boat. Once finished we got some water and a piece of watermelon and we left again for Koh Samui. The sea was rough and we went back like mad. Quite a few people threw up and the water splashed through all the openings but inside. This was definitely not comfortable. All in all, we spent over three hours on a speedboat that day snorkeling for 2 hours. If I would do it again I would rather go with an open boat so you can see and enjoy something along the way. The crew was very friendly and helpful.
Everything worked perfectly and very helpful staff on the boats. Recommended is take a pill for motion sickness before you go as they offer... if you have a predisposition to it or not know. Wonderful lunch with different dishes. Good snorkeling and nice weather is highly recommended.
We took the speedboat to Ko Tao. Already on the departure we were told that the sea is unsettled and the journey takes half an hour longer.Due to there unsettled sea many became sick, but the crew took care of everyone very well. Arrived at the destinations you could snorkel, but was not alone, but what was not particularly disturbing. The tour was well organized, with food and drink and nice snorkeling spots.Nobody had to snorkel or swim or anything.Everything was voluntary.A Chinese family with toddler was rebooked after the outbound trip on a ferry, here the crew organized everything top. The tour with My Samui Island we can only recommend.
Nice day. We saw a lot of fish during snorkelling but the coral died almost everywhere. Medium because of the description which is a bit flattering. No fresh fruit for breakfast. Stop in a single bay. Otherwise, good boat (be careful it can shake depending on the state of the sea). Good food in Koh Tao. And obviously superb island of Nang Yuan ( 30 minutes waiting to access the viewpoint) Excursion to advise
We were picked up from the hotel on time and driven to the pier. We were given a bracelet and assigned a boat. The boat was completely full. Safety vests available. Drinks (soft drinks, water) free of charge. The crew was very nice and they spoke very good English. After snorkeling we went on to lunch (Thai buffet), very delicious. Arriving on the private island, we ascended to the viewpoint. This was a single disaster. There were just too many people on this rock. Apparently there was a manager, if you can call him that at all. Disappointed without a picture we went back down. It was a single commotion and very unfortunate.. Now we had about an hour left on the island and so you could still swim, snorkel or eat. When we drove back, we were strangely not given safety vests. And this despite the fact that the sea was very uneasy. A lady flew off the seat in the impact of a wave. The crew was very helpful. All in all very nice trip.
Overall a very nice tour good staff very environment and safety aware Everything well organized Not suitable for people with seasickness especially in the afternoon rougher seas I thought it was cool others donated the lunch to the sea Snorkels everything is provided End of tour variable depending on weather Better in the hotel Breakfast
Extremely well organized and with attentive and competent staff, this day trip is recommended even if the speed boat trip time (3 hours in total) ultimately leaves relatively little time for relaxation and snorkeling. But this last activity alone in crystal clear waters is worthwhile. The buffet lunch on Koh Nang Yuan is also very decent even if very timed.
Disappointing day, with only one snorkeling session (although very nice, in Koh Tao), instead of the four advertised. When we asked to go back to the boat to retrieve the equipment and be able to dive for the second time (we had not been clearly informed of this possibility), they made us wait in vain for an hour. Many other indications of poor organization: - a modest and dirty light breakfast - the difficulty in managing the return causes ongoing downpour (not uncommon event in the rainy season...) - the return trip made by land, surrounded by other tourists with seasickness - no reply to the complaints email P.S. For those not used to the sea the return was difficult, the staff had to distribute many bags "for seasickness".
Today an excursion done from Koh Samui to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan. We were picked up on time from our hotel and returned neatly afterwards. The crew on our speedboat No. 222 was very nice and clearly enjoy their work. You get a light breakfast before you leave (with a rich breakfast I think you have more chance of nausea while sailing) and then you leave. During the trip there is unlimited soft drinks and water available. The group leader explains in clear English what you can expect from the excursion and what is expected of you yourself. You also get a snorkel and diving goggles on loan and possibly a life jacket. After the first snorkeling trip you get a lunch (buffet) don't expect culinary delights but it fills the stomach. Then you will sail to Koh Nang Yuan where you can fill in the rest of the time yourself i.e. Snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, eating, drinking or watching nature. All in all, this is worth 54 euros more than expected no luxury but that is also not possible for that price.
30 by boat, dive site and crowded restaurant I advise against it, not much more to do underwater.
My boyfriend and I booked this tour and were absolutely not disappointed. The pickup Service was already waiting for us at 7:59, this was announced between 8 and 8:30. Air-conditioned minibus, 9-10 seats. Very pleasant. Although we had to ask for the exact arrival time via chat, as there was no more confirmation via email, but everything worked out wonderfully. Light Breakfast: Toast, butter, strawberry jam, orange juice, water, tea, coffee. This is not the huge selection, but the toast was freshly toasted, the coffee was hot, the juice fresh. Of course, it is not comparable to a buffet in a 5-star hotel, it was manageable but of good quality. Speedboat ride: it was very bumpy partly, but what do you expect with a speedboat? I've never driven a speedboat before and yet I wasn't surprised that it's not as mild as a ton ferry. It takes about 1.5 hours from Koh Samui to the 1st. Snorkeling area. Snorkeling site 1: lots of colorful fish, lots of corals, clear water. There have been 3 more boats docked, yet was for each place. We didn't need Life Jacket when snorkeling, we can swim. I don't know how new other snorkel masks were, just didn't interest me. My mask was tight and provided me with air, that is the important thing for me. Lunch: Rice, various curries (I suppose there was meat in it, I don't eat that) and fried vegetables. In addition, there was soup and watermelon. I was even positively surprised that there was also vegetarian food. In Thailand, vegetarian cooking is very manageable, so this gives a big plus! There was water to drink. The food was delicious, it was a buffet, so you could take it after and got full. However, there was also a stand with ice cream and fresh fruit shakes (for a fee) in the vicinity. Snorkeling site 2: beautiful private island with incredibly great big corals and big and small colorful fish. (My friend and I were partly nibbled by the fish, I don't know why. It tweaks quite a bit when a fish like that nudes you, but it's funny too.) So the animals were more than trusting and did not feel disturbed, so you could watch them great! You could also have walked to the lookout point (takes about 40 minutes), but we didn't have the time because we were snorkeling very long and the descent was imminent in 20 minutes. Return journey: we had to turn back about 10 minutes after departure because a bag was forgotten. I was surprised that the provider took this into account, but in my opinion only speaks for the provider. In Germany they would have said “bad luck” :) We took wonderful memories and a proper sunburn from the tour and would absolutely recommend it!
We were supposed to be picked up from our hotel at 8 o'clock. Despite many calls from our side and the promise to pick us up and call us back, we realized at 9.15 that it was not going to happen again. There are countless other companies that organize the same, our advice: take one of those.
We booked Turtle Island Day Tour online and confirmed the booking success with them in advance (the day before). On the day of the trip we waited in the hall for 1 hour, called and asked that the trip was already booked, our orders were rebooked, so no one came to pick us up, and later they promised to return the deposit. But after 10 days I checked the bill and still did not receive a refund, I asked through email, WhatsApp, online chat, no response. After 2 days, the reply said it would be confirmed, but there was no news afterwards, nor did the message respond. Really very bad experience, not only disrupting our itinerary, after handling is also very bad. Absolutely not recommend everyone, hopefully no one will be like us.
