Do not recommend. Poor hygiene and Cleanliness. Upon arrival, staff were nice but wearing visibly dirty uniforms. Once escorted to our room it was made clear the towels did not smell clean, the bed had particles all through the bottom of it and the room overall smelt like toilet spray. I lasted one night here before changing accommodation and loosing my money here. All the other guests seemed to be young people partying or single older men. As all the rooms are surrounding the pool it does not feel private at all.

Had a really nice stay at The Privilege Hotel Ezra! The view was beautiful, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place to relax and unwind. The pool faces the beach, and the sunset view from there is especially nice. Definitely a lovely spot to chill and enjoy a peaceful getaway. Would happily stay here again!
I was impressed with the hotel's service. Although the room was quite small, that wasn't a problem at all because it was clean and fully equipped. They gave me a lovely handwritten card with Thai snacks. There's an elevator if you're staying on an upper floor, and the breakfast was okay.
These reviews baffle me, i would say that, at best, this is a 3 star hotel. We stayed in the VIP rooms - they are tiny and in need to refurbishment, the floorboards are separating, the bathroom in VIP 1 is so small you have to open the door, step in then close the door to access the room. The safe was broken, the balcony was tiny and water pressure was terrible. The breakfast here is abysmal, so little choice, in the 10 days we were there there was bacon twice! Cold hash browns, under cooked potatoes, stale cereal. We had a coeliac person in our party and it was day 3 before they had anything for him except bread and eggs (and it was flagged on our booking). We checked in at 10pm at night, it took an age, it was like they were not expecting us, couldn't figure out what rooms we were booked into. You have to sign a towel log to get a pool towel! I'm not sure if they are afraid someone is going to steal one! Then, 3 mornings we got the hard sell from the restaurant manager to sign up for the dinner on the beach, he wouldn't take no for an answer. The pool umbrellas were also hot property, kept rolled up in between the buildings so you had to ask to have one put out. There were major roadworks when we were there and the sewage smell on the road was unbelievable. Good points, the pool was a nice temperature and you are right on the beach. The bed was very comfortable.
Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment of our Thailand trip. We booked two Sea View rooms and were placed on the ground floor. The biggest issue was the complete lack of privacy. Unlike the other Sea View rooms, ours had no sheer curtains—only blackout curtains. This meant we had to choose between sitting in a dark room or allowing guests at the pool, restaurant and bar to look directly into our room and even towards the bathroom. The room itself also did not meet the standard we expected from a four-star hotel. We found mold in the bathroom, moisture damage with peeling paint around the air-conditioning vent, dirty blinds and glass panels, and there was a noticeable musty smell. The hotel was also extremely noisy. There was a pool table directly outside our room where guests played loudly until around 10:30 p.m. Because our room was next to the bar, we could hear staff cleaning and tidying up late into the evening. Early every morning we were woken by noise from the pool area and maintenance work. The building is also poorly soundproofed—we could even hear guests in the room above us coughing and walking around. Another disappointing experience was breakfast. One of my sons suffered from stomach problems during our trip through Thailand. In every other hotel, it was never an issue for him to take a small breakfast back to the room. Here, despite paying for breakfast for four people (two double rooms) while only two of us actually ate in the restaurant, this became a discussion almost every morning. We were even told to order room service instead and pay extra. We raised all of these concerns with the hotel and spent a great deal of time discussing possible solutions. Unfortunately, despite many conversations and apologies, we did not feel that a meaningful resolution was found. In the end, we received two restricted 10% vouchers, which did not feel appropriate considering the overall experience. The location and the sea view are beautiful, but unfortunately they cannot make up for the lack of privacy, the room condition, the noise, and the way our concerns were ultimately handled. Based on our experience, this hotel did not meet the standard we expect from a four-star property, and we would not choose to stay here again.
