A brilliant resort that I have had the fortune of spending over a week this year and last! Perfectly situated on Chaweng beach, close to Central Samui, but not too close, I love everything (maybe apart from the coffee) about Banana Fan Sea. The staff are friendly, personable and attentive from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Nothing is too hard, from recommending and booking restaurant reservations for you to organizing taxis or a driver. I like the size of the resort. The rooms and gardens have been well designed and it feels like a boutique hotel compared to larger, more expensive places nearby. The rooms are comfortable, modern and well designed, most being surrounded by a garden that two or three gardeners always seem to be working on. It’s located a great section of beach too, in front of the hotel and which a few steps from the pool. I cannot recommend Banana Fan Sea too highly! Philip, Melbourne, Australia

We stayed at Banana Fan Sea Resort as a family with three children and had a wonderful time. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent — attentive, professional and always friendly and accommodating. The entire resort is beautifully green, well-maintained and very peaceful. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and the direct access to the beach. There were plenty of sun loungers available both by the pool and on the beach. The location is also in one of the quieter areas of Chaweng Beach, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices and something for everyone. A special mention goes to the lovely staff, who were incredibly warm, helpful and very child-friendly. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended, especially for families!

Banana Fan Sea Resort left a really good impression on me. The tropical grounds feel peaceful and the pool with the swim-up bar is a nice touch, especially after a day around Chaweng Beach. I also liked having the beachfront restaurant for breakfast and casual meals without feeling overpriced. The room was comfortable too, which made the whole stay feel easy and relaxed.
