This was an amazing excursion! 10 out of 10. Seeing the beauty of this island was an incredible experience and we had plenty of time to take it all in. Will absolutely book this again in the future.

Itinerary
Our tour starts at the Kingstown cruise ship terminal. We will take you through our capital city Kingstown. As we drive through you will be shown and given information about some of the most historical buildings such as The Central Police Station, The Financial Complex, The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court and also our Cenotaph.
We will be driving through our bustling market square where a lot of vendors and farmers selling their local produces.
As we continue on through our capital city Kingstown, we will be driving on the street of the church or "back street" as it is locally called. Here you will be shown and given a brief history about the Methodist church as well as the Anglican and the Roman Catholic church.
We will then join the Leeward high, which has been renamed to the Nelson Mandela Highway. In passing you will get to see The Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, The Victoria Park - a small stadium which is also referred to as Carnival City during the Carnival season, The Botanical Gardens which is the oldest garden of it's kind in the western hemisphere, Our industrial area Campden park and then on to the picturesque Buccament Bay. We will be making a quick stop here for photos.
A short distance to the north of buccament bay is the settlement of Layou. Layou was one of the first areas of settlement by the French, who were the first Europeans to settle in St. Vincent and The Grenadines in the early part of the eighteenth century. Even before then the Caribs used it as one of their settlements, as it is evident from the petroglyphs which are found in the area. We will be making a stop here in Layou for photos
Our next stop is the fishing village of Barrouallie. Barrouallie was established by French settlers in 1719, the first European colony on St. Vincent. It was once the capital of St.Vincent and the Grenadines. With the rest of the island, it passed back and forth between the French and the British, finally remaining in the hands of the latter. Within Saint Patrick Parish, Barrouallie is both the largest city and the parish capital. The area is known for fishing and is famous for "Blackfish". Due to the surrounding mountains, the town is shaped into a hole that has over time has protected the town from volcanic eruptions.
Our Next stop will be the Wallilabou Bay where the opening scenes of the first movie of The Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl were filmed. It is one of the most visited site for cruise ship passengers.
The Cumberland Power Development is the most recent addition to the St. Vincent hydraulic system. The development comprises a cascade of three generating stations which are served by a series of diversion weirs and pipelines.
A little distance after passing the Troumaca Primary School we will be making a photo stop. This gives you a chance to take photos The La Soufrière Volcano which is 4049ft above sea level. Also on a day with good visibility you will be able to see St. Lucia in a distance.
Chateaubelair is a large fishing village on the Leeward (west) coast of Saint Vincent, the main island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is located just south of the volcano La Soufrière. Commonly referred to as just "Chateau", it is the focus and largest community in the North Leeward constituency of St. Vincent, and the fourth largest town in the country. Local attractions include Trinity Falls, Darkview Falls, and rock carvings which are an archaeological find and are believed to have been left by Carib Indians. However, anyone looking to experience true Caribbean culture instead of a manufactured offering, should consider the natural environmental beauty and friendly, genuine people of Chateaubelair.
Dark View Falls are two spectacular waterfalls, one above the other, cascading down high cliff faces and plunging into natural pools. There is a short and easy hike to the falls through rainforest and across the Richmond River via either a bamboo bridge or conventional bridge. You pass through a clearing in the middle of a pretty bamboo grove before reaching the first tall waterfall. Another short, but more difficult walk will take you up to the second waterfall, directly above the first. The waterfalls flow all year from a tributary of the Richmond River.
After a fun time at the Dark View Falls we will then make our journey back to Buccament Beach where you will have 1 hour to swim or snorkel.

It's a lot of riding in the bus, but it was an interesting drive. The stops were interesting. I enjoyed the last stop at the beach the best. Not because of the beach, but because of the small beach bar that served ice cold local beer.
the experience was really very good and the service was also excellent, front office staff Uday Chaudhary , he provided us with everything we demanded and gave us a good experience to enjoy our stay in better way
Great place to eat at loved our night
We had an amazing time. We spend a great time with our children. Special thanks to our guide. She explain everything with a lot of knowledge and love for tbe Island. Very friendly service! 100% Recommend!
Great trip. Picked us up from our Airbnb and immediately started telling us cool facts about the island. Stopped a few times to take in the view, saw the pirates set, and make it to the falls in record time. Definitely pack Dramamine if you get motion sickness lol. Had a great time overall.
Definitely worth it if only for the professional driver familiar with the roads. Had a great time and was glad not to have had the stress of navigating the narrow winding roads ourselves. Pirates of the Caribbean is very run down and not worth it by itself, but is fine for a quick stop as part of the main tour is fine.
Really good half-day tour with Topdawg. The guide was excellent and shared plenty of interesting facts about the island during the drive. Dark View Falls were stunning and definitely the highlight. Beautiful cascading waterfall with nice photo spots. We also stopped at Wallilabou Bay for that Pirates of the Caribbean vibe. At the beach we just chilled a bit, had some rum punch and relaxed. Everything well organized and on time. Solid value – recommend!
We had the most amazing experience with our guide Barris who made the entire experience feel extremely personal and tailored to our tastes. His knowledge of the local history, geography and flora/fauna was excellent, and it definitely enhanced the experience. We were a group of 6 (3 couples, various ages, all over 50) and everyone came away loving it. The trek to the waterfall is a little more challenging for someone who may have some walking difficulties, but most of us were able to manage. Loved the fresh fruit along the way, and his refreshments. Check out their other trips as well. We booked an excursion to Tobago Cays a few days later based on this experience, and were equally blown away!!
This tour is a great way to see the island. Shawn and Bash are a fun and wonderful team. I learned so much from Shawn and Bash kept us safe on all the hairpin turns going over the mountains. My favorite part was the waterfall climb and swimming in the pool at the base. I would recommend supportive close toed water shoes for the small hike and swim. It's a long day in a bus, but worth it!
We had a lovely day exploring many areas of St. Vincent and visiting Dark View Falls. Kevin was a lovely tour guide and shared lots of information with us! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Great all round trip - Kevin our driver/guide was informative, polite and looked after us well. Only downside was length of time in bus along hairpin mountain roads
We had a great experience with Weena today! She loves her home country, is very knowledgeable, and treated elderly travelers with special care. They were informative, safe driving, and lunch at The Palmera was very good and reasonably priced!
this tour was great!! We had Cheff as our tour guide and she was amazing. She gave us a lot of information about the island and was funny and engaging. We had plenty of time at the waterfall and at the beach. I would recommend wearing some water shoes or shoes with good traction cause the rocks at the waterfall can be slippery. They gave us water, rum punch, and our driver even stopped for some fresh fruit. My mom and I had a great time, I would definitely recommend!! Thank you Cheff!!
Our driver and guide were fantastic! They gave us an amazing tour, were very personable, and very thoughtful! We have noymthing bad to say about our experience!
Highly recommend great day. We did 2 tours with them- Owia Ponds and Dark View and had 2 different guides. Both were exceptional. We felt safe in their hands and learned a ton of information about the island en route.
We have got a good overview over the Island. The movie set from pirates of the caribien was funny. We spend a interesting day.
Great tour with Cheff and our driver (sorry I can't remember his name). Very informative, nice small group of 8 and we had a great driver. The waterfalls were fab.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Prior to my trip Wayne the owner was nice and helpful. I had 4 days of tours planned with him. It was my first time to st Vincent and didn’t know it was so mountainous. On my first day of tours I asked the driver to stop for a minute because after 1.5 hours of going up the mountains and the turns happening every 6 seconds (not exaggerating) I got very dizzy. I didn’t even say anything about the turns or anything at all for 1.5 hours. After our 10 minute stop I got back in the car and we didn’t have to stop again. My driver was laughing at me because I was telling her about all the turns. She said yes a lot of people who come there take some time to get used to the turns. This was my first tour. A few hours after the tour I asked Wayne what time I should be ready for my next tour the following day. It wasn’t until then Wayne told me that the rest of my tours were canceled. I asked why and he said I was complaining too much which I honestly wasn’t. I didn’t say anything about the roads until 1.5 hours in of a 2 hour drive as I said before and I told him y he driver was actually laughing at me and showed no signs of annoyance. Thankfully I was able to book tours with other people and went to the same places I was supposed to go with him. I even saw the tour guide baris who works with him at owia salt pond. It was extremely unprofessional what he did and completely wrong. If anything I should be the one to make the decision not to go and I explained to him that I had no idea about the roads and I wouldn’t complain going forward. But for him to cancel on me and not even notify me but wait until I contact him about the next day is wrong. I had 4 days of a tour planned with him and he was unprofessional for doing that. Again I DO NOT RECOMMEND him or his company. Also watch your bank statements because his company randomly charged me $165. Watch out!
I had an unforgettable experience with TopDawg Tours on our trip to Dark View Falls! From start to finish, the customer service was absolutely impeccable. Our driver, Wayne, truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the most valuable and enjoyable experience possible. Wayne wasn’t just a driver – he was a knowledgeable guide, a warm host, and an all-around great person. He took the time to show us around the island, sharing interesting facts and local insights along the way. He was incredibly accommodating, honoring every request with a smile, and making sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged. What made the trip even better was Wayne’s great sense of humor and the fact that we always felt safe in his care. He is clearly passionate about what he does, and that energy made our adventure even more special. I will absolutely recommend TopDawg Tours to anyone visiting the area, and from now on, I’ll only tour with them. If you want a professional, personalized, and fun experience, this is the company to go with!
Transportation was impressive—luxury vehicles and a truly top-shelf experience from start to finish. The team was professional, experienced, and incredibly knowledgeable, making every step of our journey smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this service for all of your transportation needs on the island.
This was a great experience. Our tour guide, Chef was very informative and knowledgable about St. Vincent. My boyfriend and I had some of the best rum punch that the island offers. I would definitely recommend booking a your with Top Dawg.
Our tour guide was great! He gave us an amazing tour of the island. Highly recommend if you love a fun adventure.
The view from the beyul was very attractive and beautiful , we saw the sunset view after this we enjoyed the service of beyul … we love the Seven year tibet cocktail and Beyul signature cocktail,,, we oder crispy lotus stemp that was awesome…. Special thanks Sandeep Mixologist who prepared drinks for us and Rohit barman who suggest this drinks for us …. Beyul like a Fine restaurant.
Very nice island, the nature is stunning, the two cascades are very nice to visit. The place were the first movie Pirates on the Caribbean was filmed is in very bad shape, the restaurant Buccaneers in Buccament Beach it was very disappointing, no order, take too long to order. I won't go there and I don't recommend
Beach part was not great, I have seen better beach to pick from, but we stopped at a tiny beach that full of rocks and sand is kind of muddy.
The stops in addition to the two waterfalls were great. Especially the Pirates of the Caribbean film location; just amazing.
We thought that we were joining a group tour but we had the driver/guide all to ourselves. He was great, both as a driver on not so great roads and as a teacher answering all our questions. If all this company's guides are as good as he is the visitors will have a wonderful day.
We had a fantastic time. Kevin, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. He showed us several things we wouldn't have seen otherwise, got to see tons of the island and had some amazing rum punch. It was a great value. Would totally recommend.
My trip to the Cascading Dark View Falls and Beach with Topdawg Taxi and Tours was nothing short of incredible! From the moment I was picked up, the service was top-notch. The driver was punctual and super friendly, sharing fascinating facts about the local area as we traveled. The Dark View Falls were absolutely breathtaking! The cascading water surrounded by lush greenery felt like a scene out of a movie. I especially appreciated the wooden bridge leading to the falls – it added a touch of adventure. I’d recommend wearing comfortable, non-slip shoes, as the area near the falls can be a bit slippery. After soaking in the beauty of the falls, we headed to the nearby beach, which was pristine and peaceful. The soft sand and crystal-clear water made it the perfect spot to unwind. I’d recommend bringing a towel and some snacks to fully enjoy the beach time. The only minor downside was the short amount of time we had at the beach – I would’ve loved to stay longer! Still, it was an unforgettable experience. For anyone planning to visit, don’t forget to bring a camera because the views are stunning, and you’ll want to capture every moment. A big shoutout to Topdawg Taxi and Tours for making this trip so seamless and memorable. Highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers
Driver and guide were excellent. Falls were nice, but a long drive. Pirates of Caribbean was touristy. St. Vincent’s is a beautiful, lush island. Would have liked to have spent more time at the beach.
Crowded bus with no clear itinerary. This will be hit or miss depending on your guide but did not experience that tour guide wanted to tell us about the island
Our tour guide was friendly, warm and approachable. She transported us in a modern comfortable vehicle with air conditioning. She shared her knowledge and history of the island and she was happy to answer all our questions. It was great to visit the villages en route and the views were amazing!! We were provided with water, rum punch and taken to a local takeaway for food. I highly recommend booking this trip with topdawg, the communication was good and we feel closer to Saint Vincent following this experience. We plan to return to this beautiful island 🏝️
Our guide was very informative and pleasant. We really enjoyed our excursion and the falls were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Very good learnt lots of our tour guide brilliant lady an guy with her safreen prob not spelt right great experience very friendly
So yes, the Fish and Chips were excellent - the Service Superb and the View Amazing - Turn off the Pike and turn down the Shore Club Rd - Thanks folks. D and K
This tour was amazing, learn a lot abt the history and culture of St Vincent. Our driver was amazing he made sure to stop at all the little towns. The water falls was so refreshing
An awesome half-day experience on the leeward side of the St. Vincent Island in s small group of 5. Our guide/driver Norris was absolutely top notch and we got an amazing birds-eye view tour of this gorgeous side of the island along with an engaging and insightful commentary about the culture, the history, the people and flora/fauna of these beautiful country. The tour is set up to hit all the key highlights and viewpoints of the island in a well-paced manner, including a short hike and time to soak under the gorgeous Dark View Falls and the fun, quirky Pirates of the Caribbean set. Norris was extremely solicitous to our needs, a keen listener to our many queries, and perceptive of each person's interests. He left no stone unturned to ensure we had a fantastic time with him. Not only did we not feel rushed at all during the entire tour, but he went out of his way to make sure we got to check out all the sights of interest to us, and he even made various bonus picture-taking stops for us. Additionally, he had us sample some delicious local delicacies as well as fresh fruits along the way, and of course, the shots of rum punch! All in all, a wonderful, not to miss experience if you happen to be on St. Vincent.
Our tour guide, Beres, made it an absolute priority that we all enjoyed ourselves. He went above and beyond to show us the most beautiful views across the island, he was hugely informative and communicative about the islands history, culture and people. The waterfalls were spectacular, the pirates of the Caribbean set was fun, and I loved the fresh mango and rum punch! Thank you
I enjoyed the flora and fauna at the waterfalls. Crossing the bamboo bridge was a little tricky but nobody fell off. J/K. It was safe. I enjoyed the stop at the beach. There was a nice restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed a barracuda on a bun sandwich and they made a delicious gin mojito with fresh mint.
Would 💯 recommend! Very informative and interactive! Made several stops along the way and was patient at each. Showed us the local flavor of the island, from food stop to bar to sample “The Sunset”. Big up and blessings Top dawg Tours!
It was a bit of a long drice but the driver was lovely and we made multiple stops and everyone was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed it!!!
Cascading Dark View Falls was a long trip from the pier but the route allowed one to see the difference in both ends of the island
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide, travelled all round the island whilst he explained about life on the island, plants trees etc, visiting remove villages with no tourism, also visit to the waterfall where we swam and ended up on a lovely beach.
The bus was very uncomfortable, we were right at the back so had no AC and also struggled to hear the driver commentating as he drove. The roads on the island didn’t help either but that is out of their control. The sites he took us to were good -we also got free water and rum punch. The driver was friendly and helpful
Wonderful experience, great tour guide, lots of information given, beautiful views of the island, we were able to get really good photos.
Wayne and Kaieshba were absolutely amazing. We had an amazing tour with them to the Dark View Falls. They picked us up from our hotel and took us on a tour of the island on the way, explaining the history and culture along the way. There were several stops to take pictures and we even swung by the Pirates of the Caribbean film set. The falls were lovely and on our way back we spent an hour swimming at Buccament Bay. This tour is billed at a Dark View Falls tour, but it’s so much more! Wayne is the best tour guide and I would absolutely book with him again!!
Thank you to our guide Wayne who was a great asset to the day and the tour. The day went smoothly from pick up at the cruise terminal to drop off. Wayne gave us a fantastic personal service which was professional and organised. Would highly recommend !!
Fab tour and great service with our tour guide Wayne. Very professional and organised. Would definitely recommend!
EXCEPTIONAL! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Our guides Wayne and Shakeira were just so lovely - honestly it felt like we’d known them for ages and we were being shown around by friends (we would honestly go back just to spend time with again!) St Vincent is stunning and mountainous and Wayne navigated the windy roads with sharp bends incredibly smoothly! The whole day was wonderfully curated and nothing felt rushed. Also, we had the wonderful added bonus of Shakeira taking pictures of us with her professional camera at the waterfall and they came out ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 😍 -the cherry on the top of our honeymoon.
