Wow! What a fantastic experience! Did this with my husband and two children. We will certainly book this again and go see other things considering Russ offers other excursions. He is extremely knowledgeable of this island AND the fact that he was on the set and crew for the pirates of the Caribbean makes him YOUR GUY! I’m so glad we went with him. No regrets, my 11 and 6 year old gives an excellent rating as well! 1000/1000 recommend! Thanks again Russ!

Ruff took me and my girlfriend to see Walilabou Bay (place of Pirates of the Caribbean filming and he was on the set). Gave us some cool behind the scenes info and took pictures throughout the tour. We also booked the Dark View tour with him and he took plenty of photos patiently. He also provided bananas after the dark view experience. He played some Ragga Soca (never heard of it before) on the way back, which I’m getting into after this trip. Would book with him again in the future. Good guy
The best tour ever! Very informative and professional!
Best tour of pirates of the Caribbean that you could ask for. He knew everything about the movie and the set, really made you feel like you are in the movie itself.
Look no further than this amazing tour! This man went above and beyond for us, he took lots of photos of us and walked us all over the set, telling us stories about his time on set. He’s a wonderful person, kind, and very informative able the island! It was fun to get insight on my favorite movie series! The sights were breathtaking and worth the price! Book with him!!! You won’t regret it!
If you're visiting St. Vincent, stop what you're doing and contact Ruff at IV Tours — he is, without exaggeration, the reason my friend and I came to St. Vincent in the first place, and he exceeded every expectation. We booked the Pirates of the Caribbean Wallilabou & Buccament Beach tour, and from start to finish it was the most personal, private, and memorable experience I've ever had on a trip. We even dressed up as pirates for the occasion! Ruff took us through so many stunning areas of the island, sharing rich history and local culture every step of the way. At Wallilabou — the iconic filming location of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl — Ruff truly shines. As the ONLY local who actually worked on the POTC set, he has an insider knowledge that you simply cannot get anywhere else. As a die-hard Pirates fan, I thought I knew everything about those films. I was wrong. The stories and behind-the-scenes facts he shared blew my mind. And because he's also a professional photographer, he captured the most incredible photos of us at the location — we're still arguing over our favorites. The personal touches made it extra special: he made us homemade ginger beer and picked up fresh watermelon along the way. We also visited Fort Charlotte, where his historical knowledge was outstanding, and he even took us by a local art gallery. The next day, he drove us to the ferry for our trip to Bequia and loaded us up with tips to make the most of our visit. Ruff does it all — tours, transfers, photography, you name it. He's funny, warm, endlessly knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in giving you the best experience possible. We had the absolute time of our lives. Do not visit St. Vincent without reaching out to IV Tours. You'll thank yourself later. 🏴☠️
Great experience with Boycie & Dale New modern van took us on our excursion Boycie was the driver and Dale was the Tour guide. Both were nice characters and informative and helpful along the way We went to the Pirates of the Caribbean set and a small waterfall at a Heritage Park nearby before we headed onto the beach next to sandals which was rather small but still nice to have a stop and rest for an hour. There was only our two families on the Tour and it was a nice experience, Dale offered us fruit water and a local ginger punch, which was nice. We did pay $2 per person to enter the Pirates of the Caribbean and $2 per person to enter the waterfall at the Heritage Park. Both are very proud of the island and took us on a little tour around the different parts and villages seeing the industrial zone and where they live, etc Overall, a great tour with two God hosts to see St. Vincent.
This tour was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Our host met us at the ferry location with refreshing cold drinks and fresh fruit, such a thoughtful touch before the day even began. From there, we hopped into a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and set off to explore the island. The Pirates of the Caribbean filming locations at Wallilabou were amazing to see in person, and our host's knowledge of the island brought everything to life. He shared fascinating details about St. Vincent's history and culture as we drove around, and no question went unanswered. He even made a stop at Buccament Beach just so we could take in the beauty, even though we hadn't brought swimsuits that day (we loved it so much we went back on our own another day!). While you're in Buccament, do yourself a favor and stop by Barry's Bakery Sweets. They had the most delicious sweet treats. Our host also took us up to Fort Charlotte, where the views were absolutely phenomenal. We learned so much about the island's history here too, and it was one of the highlights of the tour. What really set this experience apart was the personal touch. Our host went above and beyond, even joining us for lunch. You could tell he truly loves sharing his island with visitors. If you're visiting St. Vincent, don't hesitate to book this tour. It was the highlight of our trip.
This tour exceeded every expectation. Our host greeted us at the ferry location with cold drinks and fresh fruit, setting the tone for an amazing day. We traveled in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle as he drove us around the island, sharing interesting facts and local knowledge along the way. He was happy to answer every question we threw his way. The Pirates of the Caribbean sites at Wallilabou were incredible, and the visit to Fort Charlotte was equally impressive. The views from up there were phenomenal, and we learned so much about the island's rich history. He made sure we also got to see beautiful Buccament Beach, even though we weren't prepared to swim that day (we ended up going back later in the trip, and that's how stunning it was). Pro tip: while you're in Buccament, stop by Barry's Bakery Sweets for some amazing treats. You won't regret it! Our host genuinely went out of his way to make the experience special, even sitting down to have lunch with us. It felt less like a guided tour and more like exploring the island with a knowledgeable friend. Highly recommend!
This was an excellent experience from start to finish. Visiting Wallilabou Bay and seeing the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean filming location was truly unforgettable. The scenery was stunning, and the guide shared fascinating details about both the film history and the cultural significance of the area. Everything was well organized and relaxed, making it an enjoyable experience as a solo traveler. IV Tours delivered a memorable and authentic St. Vincent experience that I highly recommend.
We chose to do this excursion and nothing to say, everything was beautiful, Samir was very kind, everyone was kind, we had a great time... we recommend it!
Had a brilliant time with IV Tours. First time going to the site with my parents and son. Great to hear the details of the location with someone who was very knowledgeable. Thank you Ruff!
everything was good, nice guide/taxi driver with interesting explanations about the island and the filming locations of „pirates of the caribbean“
Had a fabulous tour from Orville (also known locally as Ruff) who runs IV Tours to the Pirates of the Caribbean filming site in Wallilabou. He gave us the full cultural immersion of St Vincent on the drive there thru the capital Kingstown, the manufacturing area in Camden Park and the island’s famous people from Layou. Explained the old coconut plantation and stopped several times for photo ops. Then lots of details about the Pirates movie set and how things were filmed, what was real and what was not. He even provided cold refreshments and fruit. We had a great day and will use IV Tours again for sure.
Orville was a great guide. He had been involved in with the production of the pirates of the Caribbean series and was very informative about the island and the film. He stayed with us when we went to Wallibou and pointed out the props and the scenes they were used and what was real and fake! Would recommend this tour for fans or mild interested in Pirates of Caribbean but a great tour
What a great tour, the set is a little bit dated now but full of character and friendly fun. The bar is a step back in time, just grab a drink and sit out on the veranda looking out to sea imagining the Black Pearl sailing by. Our driver was a safe and knowledgeable guy took his time to explain the culture of the island and took us to some interesting places on the way there and back.
So there was alot of pictures and leftovers things for the movie pirates of the carribean. Knowing the mover was flim there . It's such and historical place.
Orville took us to the set of “Pirates of the Caribbean” Amazing opportunity for any film buffs out there. You can literally see film history and even dress up like a pirate with the original wardrobes!! You will not find a better guide anywhere in the Caribbean.
Ruff was a great tour guide and photographer, he is a very friendly guy, he knew where every part of pirates of Caribbean was filmed on St Vincent as he was actually on the set himself. When you get off in the cruise port ask for RUFF
We only had a rough idea of what to do when we got off the cruise ship but luckily, we happened to find Ruff and IV Tours. We talked and arranged a trip to Darkview Falls as well as to see some of the Pirates of the Caribbean film sites. His knowledge of the island, the volcano and the movie was truly impressive! He has personal experience with all of the above and kept us entertained while skilfully driving the winding roads of St Vincent. His prices were also very reasonable for our group of six family. We hope to visit St Vincent again and if we do, we will be booking Ruff in advance to take care of us.
Excellent guide by the name of Ruff. Took us on a tour with very good information on island. We were looking for reliable, trustworthy person. Air conditioned Nissan Elgrand 8 seats with benefit of free WiFi. Demonstrated Experience of working on set of Pirates of the Carribbean. Excellent your
Exxxxxxxxxxxcelent patience Guide ! Car in good conditions, Nice person, familiar, everything went well! I Hope ALL tours were like this one !
IV Tours is my ONLY recommended tour in St Vincent. Hands down it was the most informative and amazing island tour we have ever done in any of the islands. He was very professional and friendly. The tour was full of historical information every step of the way! Definitely book with IV Tours if you are looking for an exclusive one of a kind tour that no one else can offer!
Samual did a great tour, comfortable van, very knowledgeable. Was involved in the filming of Pirates! So knew a lot about it. Nice guy.
Relaxed and very informative. “Ruff” was very knowledgable. Calm drive. Felt safe. Good to see some of the western side of the island. Pirate of Caribbean cove was fun.
When we say that there is no chance! We were lucky when we got off the cruise to find Ruff (IV TOURS) for a unique excursion! Ruff is indeed in love with his island and is also the only local cameraman who has participated in the 4 Pirates of the Caribbean films. It makes the difference! He gave us a special visit with his big heart and his anecdotes from the filming on the island. Ruff also made us discover the local beer in a local and family bar where we were also offered an excellent homemade pudding. Ruff (IV TOURS) is really great, attentive to the requests of his customers and I recommend it!
Ruff was really friendly, smiling, and very interesting, with plenty of anecdotes about the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean. A great way to discover Saint Vincent, with plenty of explanations about the history and culture of the island!
Very friendly guide who gives bcp explanations about his island, and shares anecdotes of his experience on the shooting Pirates of the Caribbean! The Island is splendid and the tour allows you to discover it. Little to see on the Pirates of the Caribbean website but compensated by the anecdotes told! Wifi available which is not negligible 😉
Incredible tour of the island that allowed us to discover its history thanks to Ruff's many knowledge. The anecdotes around the movie Pirates of the Caribbean will only be given to you by him. It was really great to have so much detail on the set. He is also very smiling and explains very well. In short we loved it! Thanks again. 🙂
Hello, had a great tour with him, he explained so much and especially knew a lot about shooting with Curse of the Caribbean. It was fun and can really highly recommend him.
