We booked online and was told to meet at the port. I made sure there were others going because of prior reviews of them canceling from lack of people. We showed up 10 minutes before pickup and were told the van was full and they left without us because it was a 6 person tour and the 4 other were large people and there was no room. He said he emailed me this but if he had just found out how would he email me. He passed us off to the "trusted friend" after 30 minutes of waiting he passed us off to another friend and finally left 15 minutes later. We were taken to other places that we hadn't signed up for and had to complain to see all the options we paid for.

This tour was canceled by the local tour operator/company. To their credit we were informed about the cancelation ahead of time and offer another type of package but different pric.
Absolutely wonderful day exploring the West coast of St. Vincent. We were picked up from the Sandals resort. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend if you want to the Dark View Falls! Definitely exceeded our expectations!!
The trip was wonderful! Our guide was so knowledgeable of the island, periodically stopping en route to Dark View Falls to give us little bits of information regarding the island. The falls themselves were breathtaking. The ride was kind of long but SO worth it. The downside was Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s cool that the movie was filmed on the island, but what originally seemed like an awesome spot to visit, kind of felt like a roadside attraction; comparable to something like “the Worlds Biggest Ball of Yarn”. Being that the movies are over 20 years old at this point, there are minimal set pieces left. The one building that was erected was only used for the outside, and the inside is full of scaffolding. The roof of that building is also filled with bats, and the ground covered in bat poop with the smell to match. There was not a lot to see - it’s a 5 minute walk around with peddlers trying to sell cheap bracelets / necklaces. This is all coming from an avid Disney fan. All in all I’m very happy we went, the falls were gorgeous, and we can say that we saw where the Pirates movies were filmed.
We ended up doing a private tour because they needed 4 guests to do this through Viator. We ended up paying twice what we were expecting but still worth it. It was a great way to see the island. Sean was a great guide.
We had a fantastic time with Fraiser on the tour. He is dedicated to service and goes the extra mile. This was a very memorable experience that we will always cherish. Thank you!
A superb day seeing St Vincent and hearing about it from a lovely local man passionate about his island. We saw dark falls, film location for Pirates of the Caribbean and had chicken wings on the beach. Sean from Fraser tours got us some road side cacao and lime leaves and dropped us at the spice market amongst the busy local crowds.
Easily one of the best guided tours we've had anywhere and we travel a lot! The man himself, Fraser, was super passionate and proud about the island and told us so many stories and little details about the beautiful SV! All along he was extremely friendly and patient with our 10 yr old and never tired of responding to his endless questions! He even stopped and picked a cacao pod for him as my kid was super excited to see one! He also caught crayfish and a crab from underneath the rocks at Dark View falls! Recommended very highly, you won't be disappointed.
The night before the trip we had a message from Viator saying we were the only people booked on the trip so it may not happen. We had paid and had our tickets. Because it had not been cancelled we set the alarm for 6am and were ready to go. 2 minutes before we were due to be picked up the tour was cancelled and we were told we would be refunded. Waste of a day. We booked a local taxi instead. I understand tours may need to be cancelled but 2 minutes before was unacceptable. Never been let down by Viator before but would be cautious in the future.
TRULY a “must-do” adventure specifically with Fraser Tours!! My adult daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed a full-day private tour with Fraser beginning with him picking us up from the Bequia Ferry Terminal (he pointed out the new Prime Minister who was also departing the ferry and they exchanged warm greetings). Immediately felt comfortable. He is a wealth of knowledge about the island having lived and raised his family there. He shared so many stories and history- his passion and energy were contagious! Fraser drove us up the west coast of SV, making multiple stops to show us the mango trees (and enjoy some fresh mango), to explain how nutmeg grows (fascinating), to let us walk the beach, etc. He joined us in the Falls for much laughter and some photo moments-grabbing lobster and crayfish from the rocks (he also provided beach towels and shoes). Lastly the stop at the sight of the filming of the opening scene of Pirates of the Caribbean was a real treat given the insight he shared. My daughter summarized the day so well- it was such fun and I learned sooooo much! He was fantastic!!!
Honest and trustworthy, Fraser quickly earned our respect with his great communication and sense of humor. He pointed out interesting things along the way, helped us understand the local culture, and was just a great guide. If you’re looking for someone in St. Vincent to take you anywhere, this is your guy!
He is amazing. Best tour ever. Great man of God smart and caring
We had a great day with Fraser. He was a great guide. Tremendous knowledge of st Vincent. He took care of us all day. He Made sure we had safe adventure. I highly recommend Fraser tours. The mango he shared was amazing. Rum punch really good. Water falls were very cool.
This was a good tour. The tour guide didn’t just take us to the Falls, but he told about the history of the island (past and recent). He also gave us a good idea of the culture of the island. The walk across the bridge and up to the waterfalls felt safe and we were helped all the way up and back. Mr. Fraser provided lunch cooked by his wife to us and it was an excellent meal. Kudos to him and his wife. It was a thoroughly great tour and worth every $$.
Everything about this excursion was perfect - from being picked up from the hotel by Shawn to hearing history about the island. We met up with Joseph and his group and enjoyed the falls and a scrumptious lunch of local cuisine prepared by Joe’s wife. This is a must when visiting the island!
Finding the tour guides at the cruise port was very easy due to the photos they emailed us the day before our scheduled adventure. Sean was our tour guide and he was absolutely awesome, providing us plenty of time to explore and take pics at all of our stops! He provided us beer, rum punch, bananas and homemade banana bread, which was so tasty!! The exhilerating waterfalls were worth all the steps and rock climbing to get there!! We made it back to the cruise port in plenty of time before our ship's all aboard time! If you want to hear all about St. Vincent and experience the waterfalls, Pirates of Caribbean movie film sight and walk on a beautiful beach, then book this adventure!!
Excellent experience! We were fortunate to have Ronald as our tour guide. You can tell how much he loves his country and how proud he is of everything here. His enthusiasm and excellent narration really made the tour come alive for us. The steps to the second waterfall were fairly difficult and tricky, but they are there to help every step of the way. Wear good traction water shoes!! Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a glimpse of the inner country.
Loved this excursion. Our guide and driver were excellent and the bus group was fun. It takes about 1 3/4 hours to get to the falls. Our guide did a great job of telling us all about St Vincent. The falls are great but not for those whose mobility is limited. Many rocks to walk on and the stair climb (steps) is a major challenge…very steep. We fortunately got there early but by the time we left the place was packed. The trip to Pirates of the Caribbean was just ok. Only reason I gave it a 4 was the long ride to the falls. I would highly recommend this company if going.
We were taken to the falls by Ricardo, in a small group of 6. During the drive from Kingstown we heard about Saint Vincent life, history and the culture. Our guide pointed out so much that we would otherwise have missed. He got us to the falls early and before the cruise ship rush - this made all the difference as we were the only tourists there and got to dip in the falls and take in the natural beauty. Snacks and drinks were provided. The walk up to the falls involved a lot of steps - good grippy shoes are helpful (we had grippy flip flops and were ok) .
AVOID! Had the Dark View Falls tour booked for the last day of our holiday and when the pickup driver didn’t show up we rang the helpline and were told that since the minimum number of signups for the tour wasn’t met, the tour had been cancelled. We received no communication at all and no compensation was offered. AWFUL COMPANY AVOID!
We booked this trip at the last minute. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the ferry terminal where we joined people from the cruise ship. Our driver was called Louise and he was very knowledgeable telling us all about the island as we drove to the waterfalls. We felt very safe in his hands as we drove along the windy roads. Our bus was one of the first to arrive at the waterfalls which meant we didn’t have to queue. On the way back we stopped off at the film location of Pirates of the Caribbean and also we had around an hour and a half at sandals Beach. I would highly recommend this tour.
Brilliant day from start to finish. Dionne gave us loads of information about st vincent. Tour was not rushed and rum punch and banana bread was delicious.
We only have 3 days in Saint Vincent and this was the perfect way to see the west coast., especially with Sean as our expert guide. So much interesting information about the island, its culture and.people. Thank you for making the day so special.
Our expectations were met and exceeded. Fraser was more than a tour guide, he was family to us. He MADE our vacation in one day… FAVOR was upon us to have had Fraser . We learned so much of the rich culture of St Vincent and forever will feel a connection. Thanks to Fraser!
We had a great time aboard a small coach, run by Frazer Taxis & Tours, with the fabulous Dion as our guide for the day. Dion was full of knowledge about the island. She provided banana bread, fruit and soft drinks, beer and some homemade rum punch during the day. The falls are a 2 hour ish slow drive along the coast where the views are just incredible, travelling through a number of villages. The roads are narrow and it can get a bit scary if you dont like heights, but in the capable hands of our experienced driver it was a trip well worth taking. Standing under the falls was spectacular, The Pirates Of the Caribbean cove was beautiful and the beach stop was perfect. A long day but worth it. Recommended.
Shawn was an amazing tour guide. Knowledgeable, personable and made the trip super enjoyable. The falls and rainforest park were pretty as were the stops along the way. The hike to view the falls is a hike for sure and worth the trip up for the views and experience.
We loved Fraser guides! The company was wonderful. Our guides brought a banana for each person and waters + rum punch. The drive to the waterfall is 1 hour and 45 mins, drive back is longer with stops. The whole day was 8:30-3ish. We were starving by the end of it! Pack a lunch.
I feel like we saw the entire island from the bus. The guide was entertaining and he gave us longer at the beach than expected. Overall it was well worth the money.
Fraser knows everyone along the route and made sure to time our visit to the Falls and lunch to avoid the crowds. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the island, from history to the economy to politics and is happy to answer any questions. He is an honest man with great integrity. The ride was comfortable (which is not easy on the mountainous roads!). Highest recommendation for this tour and tour operator. Recommend doing on the early side of your vacation time so you can ask him for guidance planning the best activities for your visit to St Vincent!
This was a fun trip made possible by an excellent tour guide, Frasier. He was knowledgeable about the island, escorted us up the falls, and made sure we got great photos of our whole family. The road to the falls is very hilly and windy but Frasier was an excellent driver. Views from top of the mountain were amazing.
Great day, Fraser himself took us like first people at Dark view, so empty place! A lot of explanation on the way, amazing landscape, safe driving, great Rumpunsch. A perfect day!
What an experience! Frazer was so attentive and full of knowledge about the island The rum punch and local beers were delicious, he took us directly to the very popular waterfall to avoid the queues, we were one of the first there and only noticed how busy it would get when we were on our way out! You couldn’t move! He’s a great photographer too, making sure we got the perfect insta shots! It is a minimum of 4 people but luckily there was another couple who joined us from our cruise so we were able to go as planned! Thanks so much!!!! Can’t recommend enough!
This was an amazing trip for me and my wife! Wow! I recommend this to anyone interested in a safe fun time! My wife told me she was so happy we chose it!
Fantastic Private Tour with Fraser – Highly Recommended! We had an amazing private tour with Fraser (Ronald himself) on St. Vincent! The itinerary was perfectly balanced — we visited the stunning Black Waterfalls, saw the filming location from Pirates of the Caribbean, enjoyed a quick and relaxing beach stop, and even had one of the best burgers of our trip. Fraser was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and organized, giving us plenty of time at each stop without ever feeling rushed. His homemade rum punch was absolutely delicious! A fantastic experience — highly recommend this tour and guide!
Absolutely the most amazing tour guide and tour experience I’ve ever had. I reached out to Fraser looking for a guide to show me and my girlfriend the island, with the intention of proposing to her. I had a few places in mind, and after talking with Fraser, he was able to not only help me find the perfect location, but also arrange to have the engagement photographed. He connected me with a fantastic photographer who captured the moment perfectly. Fraser went above and beyond by coordinating with the photographer to keep everything a surprise. He also captured the moment on video and took some amazing photos for us, in addition to everything else he did. The rest of the tour was incredible—seeing beautiful sights, visiting a fruit market, and meeting a local vendor who was extremely friendly. She showed us how to prepare breadfruit and avocado, letting us try the one she prepared. Fraser was extremely friendly, answered all our questions, and pointed out places to check out throughout our time in St. Vincent. My now-fiancée and I had an absolute blast on the tour, and we are so grateful to have had Fraser show us the island and share in many unforgettable memories.
Fraser picked up our family (59, 53, 22, 17, 7) from our villa in a sparkling clean, comfortable, and nicely air-conditioned van. Our drive to the falls consisted of multiple stops for views and pics, and Fraser was always happy to snap family pics for us. He was a wealth of information about the island. He also quickly forged an alliance with the 7 year old, calling him “Boss” and playing multiple rounds of “deal or no deal” throughout the day haha Once reaching the falls he expertly guided us over the bamboo bridge and to the first waterfall. So beautiful!! He took many pics and videos for us (he’s a great photographer!) before we moved on up the trail. If you think the first set of falls are beautiful, wait until you see the second and third! Lush green rainforest all around, rain falling, and the clean cool waterfall waters made for a surreal experience. We played in the 3rd falls for a while, got more pics and videos, and Fraser caught a couple freshwater lobsters to show the 7 year old (both safely released). He also helped the 7 year old conquer his fear of water even more by helping him (with the assistance of my husband) get in one of the pools below the first falls on our way back through. We had lunch at an authentic local restaurant sat on a beautiful black sand beach, and stopped to check out the Pirates of the Caribbean movie set. Fraser also kept us hydrated and nourished with water, juices, beer, rum punch, and a variety of fresh-picked fruits. We cannot recommend Fraser enough and will definitely be utilizing him again on our next trip to St. Vincent!
We had the opportunity to actually tour with Fraser. He told us he is a native of the island and that he had a lot of friends so he would be using his horn a lot. And that he did. Fraser knows everyone and it makes for an amazing tour. He drove us to the Dark Falls and was full of fantastic information about the island. He shared personal stories about his time growing up and about the folks he “honked” on the way up to the falls. He walked with us up to the falls and carefully showed us where to step and how to get under the falls as safely as possible. His attention to detail makes me very confident that his entire staff is trained to his standard so I am excited to recommend that his entire staff would be your best bet for a tour on the island!! The personal touch that he brought to our tour truly made it memorable!
Excellent tour, we all had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend Frazier Tours. Our driver Shawn was the best driver and guide.
We did a private tour with the owner himself- Fraser! Amazing experience, very detail-oriented guide and so knowledgeable about St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We toured the island, saw the Dark View Waterfalls (spectacular!!) and were able to visit Wallilabou- home of the Pirates of the Caribbean film setting scene. It was quite a rainy day but Fraser made sure we enjoyed the tour to the fullest with some homemade rum punch, bananas and even freshly picked mangos from mango trees straight out of his backyard! Such an amazing experience, highly recommend friendly Fraser and his company! You don’t want to miss this when in St. Vincent. P.S. Big shout out to Fraser for great hospitality and breathtaking photos from the tour!
Would definitely recommend this trip to the waterfalls. Frazer was the best and very informative on his tour. Took the extra time to take us to the big second waterfall. We saw everything. Pirates of the Caribbean stop was ok just to see it.
Fraser escorted us to the double waterfalls and ensured each step on the trail was well placed. His knowledge about the jungle watershed and how this water winds up in your hotel room was fascinating. Once we reached the upper falls, he encourage us to get wet and enjoy the pounding waterfall! He flipped some rocks and shared his find of a small crawfish the pitched it back. He took photos and really took time to make shure we were safe on the hike back to the car. Another expectional experience with Fraser.
An excellent day out. Fraser told us a lot about the island. Air con vehicle and a good driver. He provided everything we could need including a lovely local lunch near Dark View Falls. Would definitely recommend him.
We had the best day with Fraser. His passion for his country and the tour he gave was outstanding. We learnt so much on the trip and he was there the whole time, taking photos for us etc. The waterfall was beautiful and our kids enjoyed a dip in it. The trip is quite long along very windy roads so if you get travel sickness be prepared.
The dip in the waterfall was great fun. We were lucky as our trip only had 4 passengers and only us 2 wanted to go into the waterfall. We had an hour at the site and no other trips arrived at the time so we had it to ourselves. Don't know if water shoes would have been provided but you do need them - we were already wearing ours. Lovely scenery on route - we were in a mini bus so view was a bit restricted but heh ho. Looking around the Pirates of the Caribbean film location was also fun. Beach wasn't nice at all. We were given the choice of a black or white sand beach - we chose white where the Sandals resort was situated but its grubby and uninviting so if given the choice it may be better to choose the black - the sand was black underneath the top layer of white anyway. We were not allowed on the beach belonging to Sandals which may have been better but I don't see how. Guide was very accommodating and pleasant. Plenty of complimentary cold drinks included and offered. All in all a great experience.
The tour operator was a DISASTER. He electronically CANCELED the tour 5 minutes by after the pick-up time WITHOUT giving any reason only to say that a refund was being processed. He never showed up at the appointment time. Also, VIATOR was not helpful either; all they did was “we apologize”. The tour operator is irresponsible, unethical, dishonest and terribly arrogant.
His professionalism was perfect. He is very knowledgeable about the area in terms of the history and gives great and memorable facts. He is kind and caring in every regard and goes above and beyond. He also took me to the volcano which was great as well.
Fab tour guide, did both the volcano and dark view falls with Fraser, super knowledgable tour guide, pick up and drop off exactly as organised and Fraser providing beers after the volcano hike really topped it off! Couldn’t recommend more!
We had such an amazing time with Fraser, he was really knowledgable and friendly and could answer all our questions! Great photographer for our group taking lots of pics! Pick up and drop off were exactly as planned and we had no issues on the day! Took us to a local restaurant for some lovely food. Would recommend if you’re staying on the island!
Frasier was an amazing tour guide from start to finish. Everything on the island was closed due to the hurricane, but he made sure we didn't miss out. He got us in to see the Dark View Falls and the Pirates of the Caribbean. He was so knowledgeable about the island and it's history. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting the island and definitely ask for Frasier! He is outstanding! You won't be disappointed.
Our experience with Fraser Taxi and Tours in Saint Vincent was truly unforgettable! From the moment Fraser picked us up, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The vehicle was spotless and comfortable, perfect for our adventure. Fraser's deep knowledge of the island and his warm personality made the tour exceptional. We discovered stunning beaches, hidden spots, and picturesque views we would have never found on our own. He even stopped at local fruit stands for some fresh mangos for us! As we made our way to the waterfalls, we ran into some sweet locals who were heading up to fish for crawdads, craps and lobster, so we joined them!!! literally made our trip! in fact, we had so much fun that we called Fraser AGAIN to take us out for another adventure 2 days later! He led my hubby to the top of the volcano an my husband had to most amazing experience! Fraser's enthusiasm for his homeland was infectious, making every moment special. We highly recommend these tours, Fraser and his company for anyone wanting a genuine and memorable Saint Vincent experience. Five stars aren’t enough!
